Fees and Taxes. 3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $199 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. Some states also have specific forms or procedures that must be used for out-of-state purchases. 3.5.3. Tag & Title. 3.5.3.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to handle your tag and title work, and I collect an estimate of those costs at the time of sale, which range from $150 to $400 depending on your specific situation. If the actual cost of title and registration is less than the estimate, I will refund you the difference; if the actual cost is more that the estimate, you will be required to pay the difference before getting your tag and title. I do not make any money on tax, tag, registration and title fees I collect. 3.5.3.2. Out-of-State Buyers. I will provide you with the vehicle's title, and you will be responsible for handling the tag and title work in your state. 3.6. Exchange Documents and Signatures. There are, unfortunately, paperwork requirements for completing the transaction, which vary depending on whether you are from out-of-state or not.
