And while the brand was originally envisioned as a stepping stone to the corporation's namesake luxury marque, it also spawned performance and economy models to fend off internal competition from Dodge and Plymouth. That means the '50s power monsters MoPar enthusiasts know and love often have more exclusive counterparts like this stylish Fireflite Sportsman. Wrapping a hot 341 cubic inch Hemi V8 and stalwart pushbutton Torqueflite in a tailored interior and sweeping sheetmetal, this all-American cruiser HAS to be some of the coolest metal on the planet! And with only 7,216 companion cars, it's some of the rarest Detroit iron ever produced. For fans of unique cars, it doesn't get much better than an Exner era Chrysler. And if you're a discerning collector who's itching for a classic, big-fin MoPar that'll be the star of every cruise night in town, this '57 DeSoto is your ticket! BODYWORK/TRIM Based on legendary designer Virgil Exner's 'Forward Look' body, DeSoto's well-known Fireflite series is some of the finest metal to ever leave an American design studio. The spectacular Fiesta Red and Frost White example you see here was assembled at Chrysler's Detroit, Michigan manufacturing facility and exceptionally maintained by one fastidious owner for close to 57 years. Its 100% original sheetmetal reflects a smooth, 2-stage finish that was applied in the summer of 2014. Yards of original brightwork and stainless feature no modern supplements, with the exception of fresh chrome on the car's taillight housings and rear bumper. And, despite what some might call exaggerated proportions and excessive ornamentation, this graceful coupe is every bit as striking as it is handsome! ENGINE All that classy metal moves thanks to a Hemispherical Fire Dome V8, which is branded with a correct S26-27094 assembly stamp. Clocking in at 341 cubic inches, the square-bore mill turns hearty 9.25 to 1 compression into 295 horsepower and 390 lb./ft. of stout torque. And naturally, given the car's ownership history, the engine appears to wear a roster of correct and original pieces, from its glossy air cleaner and rebuilt Carter carburetor all the way to its beefy radiator and tagged red cap battery. Fire is provided by a traditional points distributor, which sequences sparks between an old school generator and 7mm Copper Conductor Cables. Combustion comes courtesy of a correct camshaft, which breathes through a correct intake and original exhaust manifolds. Aesthetically, the engine's fresh Aluminum paint contrasts well against the car's Fiesta Red firewall and Gloss Black fenders. And little details like gold valve covers, vivid "DESOTO FIREFLITE EIGHT" call-outs, stainless fluid lines and a Sparton horn round out this coupe's natural eyeball appeal. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION The 1957 DeSoto was "the car that makes yesterday seem years ago". Accordingly, the division's marketing gurus drowned the print world in ads touting the brand's new Torsion-Aire Suspension. And surprisingly, that statement still holds true today, as this big boulevard king sits on a freshly detailed chassis that veils pothole-shattering solidity in a silky smooth ride. Behind the Fire Dome V8, an original A488 Torqueflite 3-speed sends power to a correct rear end. That tough driveline spins in a factory-spec undercarriage that's complete with Chrysler's robust torsion bars and stiff outrider springs. At the corners of that chassis, heavy duty drum brakes ensure solid, fade-free stops. At the center of the car's rust-free floors, a traditional true-dual exhaust system employs deep, glasspack-style mufflers. And all this road-worthy hardware rides on painted and capped wheels, which spin pliable 8.50-14 BF Goodrich Silvertown whitewalls. INTERIOR Take a look inside this coupe and you'll find a mostly-original Gray and White interior that sports enough room to haul the whole family in comfort! Wide bench seats prop piped and stitched vinyl under fresh centerpieces. In front of those seats, a Frost White dash hangs a crack-free pad over a correct AM radio and stylish, pushbutton transmission controls. That dash and seat combo is framed by rich carpet, textured door panels, chrome pillar covers and a white headliner that's stretched across polished roof bows. In front of the driver, a 2-tone steering wheel spins a chrome horn ring around an intricate DeSoto logo. And behind the passengers, a virtually untouched trunk props an original jack and spare tire on an original mat. OUR SALE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATIONA variety of original marketing materials. An original Owner's ManualAn original Service CertificateTwo original key tagsA March, 2014 photo of the car with its only owner This classy DeSoto is a super cool cruiser that's easy to imagine as the focal point of a cross-country road trip. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1959 Nash Rambler American Frame Up Built Rambler American Wagon 347 V8 C4 Heidts Power Discs Vintage A/C Year: 1959 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: White Mileage: 3805 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 347 V8 Interior color: Red Vehicle Info Until recently, many people believed America couldn't build a decent small car. But, like most anti-Detroit rhetoric, that mindset was perpetuated by folks who really didn't know what they were talking about. As early as 1950, AMC president George Mason believed small cars had a real future on U.S. roadways. And, when the recession hit in 1958, the company's management decided it would be an ideal time to perfect their Rambler American series. Fast forward 56 years and this professionally restored resto-mod is certainly some of the coolest metal to ever roll down an assembly line. Thanks to its remarkable combination of Ford power and simplistic style, the car sits at the pinnacle of unique. And, if you're a cultured enthusiast who's looking for exclusive, historically significant iron, it's the chrome-clad masterpiece of your dreams! Loosely based on Nash Motor's Nash Rambler, the Rambler American was introduced as an entry point to the brand's more profitable senior models. The GM PPG White example you see here is a rust-free California car that was stripped all the way to bare metal during a professional restoration that was conducted by CAM Auto Creations of Phoenix, Arizona. Its classy, curvaceous body reflects a smooth two-stage finish that exhibits minimal signs of wear and no major defects. $5K worth of re-chromed and polished trim looks every bit as good as the day it left the showroom. And, despite what some might call awkward proportions, this graceful classic is both striking and handsome! As a vintage car connoisseur, you simply can't go wrong with '50s-era steel. Take a look at this gorgeous wagon and you'll see detailing that walks a fine aesthetic line between the hand-crafted feel of its '40s ancestors and the radical, sometimes cheeky appearance of its '60s offspring. At the front of the car, an American-exclusive grille centers a racy "R" emblem between visored headlamps, small parking lights and a wraparound bumper that's complete with modern driving lamps. At the sides of that grille, a pinstriped fuselage flows through classy "American" scripts, unique door handles and a chrome, "R" branded fuel filler. At the top of that fuselage, a curved windshield and fresh greenhouse back a cool hood fin, a standard mirror and straight stainless frames. And behind that greenhouse, a "Rambler" branded tailgate anchors chrome hatch hardware between inverted tail lights, a second wraparound bumper and large, stainless exhaust tips. Toss this classic's domed hood and you'll find 347 cubic inches of stout Ford V8 that produces roughly 250 horsepower. At the top of that bright orange mill, a polished air cleaner marries wind with fuel supplied by a small Motorcraft carburetor. That air/fuel mixture makes its way from a cast iron intake to cast iron heads, which hide under attractive, polished valve covers. When those heads flood the cylinders, a Flame-Thrower coil and proven Painless wiring sequence fire through a traditional points distributor and 7mm High Temperature Conductive Silicone Core cables. As combustion is sparked, resultant gases are jettisoned through compact, cast iron exhaust manifolds. And that combustion's cooling is provided by a beefy aluminum radiator, which stores water in front of large-diameter puller fans and a March serpentine system. As with any expertly built custom, the car's clean engine bay is fully detailed and ready for show. And it all adds up to one super sweet small block that looks right at home centered between a fully finished hood and body-matched fenders. Naturally, this American's fully-finished body rides on a fully-restored chassis that's been assembled to exacting standards. The smooth small block torques a tough C4 3-speed, which spins a familiar Ford 8-inch. That proven drivetrain pushes a 1.5-inch lowered suspension, which tracks a high quality Heidts Mustang II front-half with custom leaf springs. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to power-assisted discs and drums. At the center of the floor, 2.5-inch true-dual exhaust breathes through aluminized pipes and throaty Magnaflow mufflers. At the corners of the chassis, painted steelies turn 215/70R15 BF Goodrich Silvertown whitewalls around polished trim rings and red-detailed center caps. And everything, from the car's hidden brake booster to its undercoated floors is well-planned, well executed and ready to work its magic! The spectacular cockpits in '50s-era Detroit iron need no introduction, but here goes. Flip this Rambler's bright chrome handles and you'll find a classy, Dynamat-lined interior that stays completely true to the car's tasteful detailing. Rebuilt bench seats are all-day comfortable and feature supple hides that fit well and feel great. Beneath those seats, soft carpet frames billet foot pedals next to clean kick panels and textured sills. At the edges of that carpet, flawless door skins anchor small black armrests between body-matched toppers and correct chrome hardware. At the front of those skins, a curved dash is layered in glossy paint, correct telemetry and controls for Vintage Air conditioning. Above that dash, a correct headliner frames controls for Custom Autosound acoustics. The driver spins a black steering wheel around a chrome horn ring, an "R" branded centerpiece and a polished gear selector. And passengers store their essentials in a freshly finished cargo hold that features era-correct luggage. Combining a high quality restoration with acute attention to detail, this incredible wagon is some of the best metal your money can buy! Add in the car's smooth drivetrain and instant 'wow' factor, and it's virtually guaranteed to win both trophies and fans. We all know it's becoming increasingly tough to find unique, highly exclusive classics. Don't miss your chance to own one of the coolest Ramblers ever restored! You might say the storied brand has done it all. It's the foundation for today's General Motors Company. It's the foundation for America's growth in the world's largest automotive market. And in the '30s, when Detroit was at the top of its luxury game, fine automobiles like this stylish Series 40 gave solid credibility to the line "Best Buy's Buick". Recently restored into a road-ready resto-mod, this fully sorted cruiser is certainly some of the coolest metal to ever roll down an assembly line. Thanks to its remarkable combination of smooth power and first class style, it sits at the pinnacle of pre-war design. And, if you're a cultured enthusiast who's looking for a unique and clean classic, it's the old school road warrior you've been patiently waiting for! The beneficiary of a professional, frame-off restoration that was completed in late 2012, this stately sedan is one of the coolest tri-shields we've ever seen! On a quest for vintage metal that could be transformed into a comfortable boulevard cruiser, the car's owner found his project sitting next to an airplane hangar in Advance, North Carolina. When a deal was struck, Winston Salem's The Paint Shop stripped the Buick's curvaceous body all the way to bare metal. After some small rust repairs, that body's panels were assembled into a straight and precise profile that displayed Honda Basque Red Pearl two-stage. Trim was sent to Advanced Plating in Nashville, Tennessee for a new, high quality luster. And today, this all-steel 40's prestigious, blemish-free appearance is a lust worthy representation of America's most glorious era of motoring. Highly regarded competitors to some of the world's finest automobiles, '30s Buicks combined proven bodies with Detroit's most innovative and powerful engines to create an unmatched sense of style and grandeur. At the front of this classic's swank 'torpedo' profile, a familiar chrome grille hangs small emblems between chrome-trimmed headlights, streamlined parking lamps and a detailed, wraparound bumper. Above that grille, a 4-piece, folding hood places stainless-trimmed heat extractors amid a streamlined gun sight and long, stainless flanks. At the back of that hood, a clean greenhouse rides behind variable wipers, 1-piece door glass and correct chrome mirrors. At the sides of that greenhouse, a tall fuselage anchors rapier-style door handles between classy running boards, sleek trim spears and a cool "BODY by FISHER" badge. And at the back of those spears, a lit tag topper floats among a second bumper, Bulux tail lights, ornate trunk hardware and a modern power antenna. Cosmetics aside, this sedan features an impressive level of performance. Lift the car's hinged hood and you'll find a potent Vortec V8: the forerunner to virtually all the technology still featured in GM sports cars. Donated by a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, this fully-sorted mill combines razor-sharp pulls with a doublewide torque band. And what's better: all that grunt comes standard with hassle-free, 21st century reliability. At the front of the engine, a Billet Specialties TruTrac system spins a polished Powermaster alternator and Vintage Air AC compressor at the base of a polished air tube and familiar Spectre filter element. Once air enters that filter, it flows through a factory throttle body into a factory intake, which is bolted down over completely stock internals. High octane fossils are provided by 12-volt Street and Performance wiring and GM electronic fuel injection. Sparks are sequenced through red AC Delco plug wires. Spent gases are whisked away by a slick pair of ceramic coated block hugger headers. And cooling comes courtesy of a beefy Walker radiator that's complete with a quick-spinning Cooling Components puller fan. Aesthetically, the glossy engine compartment combines with the Vortec's clean silver casting to provide a natural contrast that oozes performance appeal. Niceties such as a chrome brake booster, braided accents and a factory dust cover add just the right amount of flash and detail to make people stop and take notice. And the net result is a buttery smooth, muscle-bound V8 that, through its distinctive rumble, foretells the car's true hot rod nature. Like its drivetrain, this Buick's fully restored chassis was completed by Little Joe's Street Rod Shop in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. Providing the car's smooth ride is an independent front and 4-bar rear suspension that's augmented by power rack-and-pinion steering and Ridetech RidePRO compression. At the center of that suspension, a 4L60E 4-speed automatic, donated by a 2004 Pontiac GTO, sends power to a Ford 9-inch rear end. At the edges of that drivetrain, true-dual exhaust makes good use of deep turbo mufflers. Outside that exhaust, 4-wheel disc brakes initiate quick, drama-free stops. Outside those brakes, familiar wire wheels spin 225/75R15 Hankook Optimo H724s around "BUICK" branded center caps. And, with a fully sorted undercarriage that's ready to hit the road, this big cruiser would be right at home chauffeuring the family to their favorite dinner spot. An excellent mix of new world style and old world luxury, this 40's ultraleather interior is the perfect place to parade down Main Street. The car's front bucket and rear bench seats are stuffed with fresh padding, covered in wrinkle-free skins and trimmed with modern seatbelts. In front of those seats, a wood-themed dash hangs digitized Classic Instruments telemetry over remote-controlled Custom Autosound acoustics. Below that dash, a wood console, which features cup holders, courtesy lamps and a 12-volt accessory plug, rides between a small parking brake and clean shifter. At the base of that console, fresh, high quality carpet is anchored by slick, Fisher-branded sill plates and protected by big, color-keyed floor mats. Opposite that carpet, a mouse fur headliner rides tight behind a small, billet mirror. At the sides of that headliner, simple door panels prop traditional handles between discreet power windows, wood-themed frames and fresh Sony speakers. In front of the driver, a "BUICK" branded, banjo-style steering wheel spins a color-keyed rim around a tilting column and modern cruise control. And behind the passengers, a wood-trimmed trunk features compartmentalized storage for all the car's necessities. The sale of this classy sedan includes restoration photos, restoration receipts and a stack of component manuals. Combining a high quality restoration with modern power, this incredible Buick is one of the best resto-mods your money can buy! Add in the car's excellent detailing and impressive road prowess, and it's virtually guaranteed to be the go-to choice for a night on the town. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport Frame Off Built Chevelle SS LS6 454/450 HP V8 4 Speed Convertible 12 Bolt Year: 1970 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Black Mileage: 0 Transmission type: 4 Speed Manual Engine: 454 V8 Interior color: White Vehicle info 1970 was the pinnacle of the American muscle car movement. Too much performance just wasn't enough, and user friendliness was exchanged for a healthy combination of style, attitude and danger. Just take a look at this handsome Chevelle Super Sport, a car that wraps butch styling around serious big block horsepower and the kind of hardware that's become the stuff of legend. With its ample and inexpensive parts supply, ease of ownership and classic, all-American appeal, THIS is the top dog muscle car that every octane-fueled gearhead wants to park in their garage. And now, thanks to your like-minded friends at RK Motors Charlotte, you can drive one home in better-than-new condition! So, if you want to be admired by your neighbors, envied by your car club, and loathed by the kid at the local stoplight, pick up the phone and pick up your new Chevelle! As with any high caliber classic, this Chevy's paint and bodywork is first-rate throughout. Smooth Tuxedo Black base is seated under Classic White Super Sport stripes and buried in glossy clear. That pigment highlights carefully sculpted steel which, when combined with the car's clean frame, documents a 3-year, $125K restoration. That ground-up reboot certainly sweats the details, featuring finish work that's befitting a rarely driven trailer queen. And naturally, everything has been professionally sanded and carefully buffed to a weather-enduring shine. Many enthusiasts believe the '70 Chevelle introduced a host of excellent refinements which transformed the 'good' design of Chevrolet's '69 model into something 'great'. At the front of this retro road rocket you'll find a familiar crossbar grille, which hangs a fresh and prominent "SS" emblem between stainless-trimmed headlights and a thick chrome bumper. Above that bumper, a cowl induction hood anchors traditional lanyards and rebuilt Hide-A-Way wipers at the base of like-new glass that's flanked by straight stainless frames and a monochromatic top. Opposite that top, subtle "SS454" badges combine with dent-free fender trim, traditional chrome door handles and flashy chrome mirrors to add visual detail to the car's liquid-smooth profile. And at the back of that profile, a second chrome bumper hangs a black Super Sport inlay between clear brake lamps and polished stainless exhaust tips. Hoist this drop-top's mirror-slick hood and you'll find a 454 cubic inch Chevrolet big block that, thanks to a few well-planned tweaks, produces roughly 450 horsepower. At the top of the mighty mill, a simple chrome air cleaner funnels wind into a reliable Quick Fuel carburetor that's threaded onto fresh stainless fuel lines. Below that carburetor, a low-rise Winters intake feeds cast iron heads that ride between a steel crank, forged 12:1 pistons and bright chrome valve covers. At the back of those heads, a correct points distributor shoots fire through eight Packard TV R Suppression cables. Below those cables, cast iron exhaust manifolds jettison spent gases in to free-flowing tail pipes. And at the front of those manifolds, a reproduction Delco battery complements a heavy duty radiator and correct plastic fan shroud. Aesthetically, this road ready Chevelle's glossy exterior paint transitions nicely into a clean engine bay that features a very high level of detail. New GM hoses combine with fresh decals, correct markings and appropriate tower clamps to add a factory-finished sheen. And all the familiar extraneous bits, like the car's tagged brake booster and correct hood insulation are present, sorted and fully accounted for. The theme of 'road ready' also extends under this fully restored Super Sport where you'll find super clean floors and a rebuilt, factory-accurate chassis. Behind the stout engine, a Borg Warner T10 4-speed sends power to a correct, 12-bolt rear end that's fitted with familiar, 3.31 gears. Holding that killer drivetrain off the ground is an option F41 double A-arm front and 4-link rear suspension, which is equipped with factory power steering, heavy duty sway bars, boxed rear control arms and stiffer springs. The car's rebuilt power front disc and rear drum brake system is present, accounted for and functions exceptionally well. The aforementioned exhaust manifolds dump spent gases into high performance, true-dual pipes that breathe through raspy, dual-chamber mufflers. And power flows to the pavement via stylish Super Sport wheels and G70-14 Firestone tires. The car's frame, free of any major damage, is finished in satin as a textural contrast to its Tuxedo Black floors. And, in keeping with its raucous 454, much attention has been paid to making sure everything under this Chevelle is clean, mean and ready to go! Featuring a host of new components, and decked in bright Ivory vinyl, this convertible's fully restored interior feels both comfortable and inviting. Its slick front bucket and rear bench seats, which feature embossed weave patterns that were designed to keep passenger's backs cool, show hardly any signs of wear. In front of those seats, a straight and crack-free dash hangs a deluxe Chevelle gauge cluster above correct climate controls and a snazzy Custom Autosound stereo. Below that dash, fresh black carpet, which is protected by rugged rubber floor mats, centers a chrome Muncie shifter inside an attractive, stainless-trimmed console. At the sides of that carpet, clean door panels hang spotless stainless trim between crank windows and factory door locks. In front of the driver, a black, "SS" branded steering wheel keeps everybody pointed in the right direction. And behind the passengers, a fully restored trunk centers a full-size spare tire and correct jack assembly between a new mat and correct decklid decals. The sale of this awesome A-Body includes a vintage Owner's Manual and instructions for the aforementioned Custom Autosound head unit. Overall, this slick black Chevy is the total package. With a king-of-the-mountain big block, tough Borg Warner 4-speed, and every option that allowed these cars to develop such stellar reputations, it was and still remains an excellent example of 'bragging rights' muscle. If you're ready for some first class firepower in your automotive arsenal, don't miss the chance to take home this spectacular Chevelle Super Sport! [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1968 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Documented Investment Grade Shelby GT500 428 Police Interceptor V8 C6 Ford 9" Year: 1968 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Gold Mileage: 90114 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 428 Police Intercepter V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info From evil 60s Trans Am racers to Fox Body SVOs, the Mustang camp has ALWAYS offered a whole portfolio of unique options and fabled powertrains. And in the world of specialty Mustangs, the name Carroll Shelby has always been synonymous with extreme performance and big exclusivity. If you can find a documented Shelby Mustang that's been correctly restored and has all the right hardware, you can get a serious, investment grade classic with an upward value curve that never seems to end. And if you've ever dreamed of owning a rare pony car that mixes a storied drivetrain with a solid restoration, you've clicked the right icon! Originally delivered to Jack Howell Motors in Newfane, New York, and passed through only three owners since, this solid gold Ford presents an incredible opportunity to own a real thoroughbred. The car's bodywork, founded on 100% original sheetmetal, looks solid, crisp and fitting for a high caliber classic. Shelby's traditional fiberglass, which includes the firm's often difficult decklid treatment, fits together well. That fiberglass is covered in a searing coat of Sunlit Gold Metallic, which is finished to a level that makes old school factory fodder envious. And clean white stripes perfectly complement correct GT500 call-outs. Shelby's GT line threw fuel on the muscle car fire by not only adding power, but also introducing some of the coolest and most aggressive Mustang design cues ever created. At the leading edge of this slick GT500, a bright chrome bumper dissects a correct Shelby grille, which hangs stylish driving lamps between a prominent "S H E L B Y" script, clear Ford headlights and round parking lamps. At the top of that grille, sculpted lanyards lead the eye past a lightweight fiberglass hood to like-new glass that's framed in straight stainless trim, small stainless wipers and correct chrome mirrors. At the sides of that glass, correct Shelby scoops and fender caps combine with fresh Cobra emblems, traditional door handles and dent-free rocker guards to provide an aggressive, yet finished appearance. And at the back of the car, a familiar Shelby decklid hangs a second "S H E L B Y" script over Shelby tail lights, a Cobra fuel filler, detailed reverse lamps and a second chrome bumper. Lift the car's lightweight hood and you'll find a 428 cubic inch, "C7ME-A" branded block that wears an era-correct August (H) 22nd (22), 1967 (7) casting date. That means, since Ford didn't officially introduce the Cobra Jet until April, 1968, this 355 horsepower mill is indeed a Police Interceptor block. And, while most casual observers argue that Ford's Cobra Jet is the pinnacle of Shelby powerplants, Dearborn's proven police-spec V8 is certainly nothing to scoff at. What's more: most experts agree the engine probably puts out closer to 420 horsepower and as much as 450 lb./ft. of torque. At the top of the Ford Blue beast, a finned and "COBRA" branded air cleaner jams oxygen into a big Holley carburetor that's bolted to a correct aluminum intake. At the sides of that intake, high performance heads hang finned and "COBRA LE MANS" branded valve covers between a small chrome breather and cast iron exhaust manifolds. At the front of those heads, an authentic points distributor utilizes fresh Autolite Radio Resistance wires to light the cylinders' fires. And in front of that distributor, a thick radiator cycles water through pliable hoses and reproduction tower clamps. Aesthetically, this Mustang's well-detailed engine bay appears very close to original, featuring even Satin Black paint under correct Ford decals. And everything, from the car's vintage washer tank to its reproduction battery, is fully-sorted and ready to roll. Take a look under this awesome GT500 and you'll find clean floors that are no stranger to road time. Just aft of the legendary V8, a tough C6 3-speed spins a correct Ford 9-inch around moderate, 3.50 gears. At the front of the car, factory control arms hang a correct sway bar and factory power steering between correct power disc brakes. At the back of the car, stiff springs hang traditional, power-assisted drums at the edges of a leak-free fuel tank. In the middle of the car, a beefy, true-dual exhaust system funnels spent gases through an H-shaped crossover, throaty turbo mufflers and small stainless tips. And at the edges of the car, power flows to the pavement through E70-15 Goodyear Speedways and reproduction Shelby 10-spokes. Inside this gold chariot you'll find a correct Black interior that blends seamlessly with the car's bright exterior paint. Everything from the door panels and headliner to the black carpet and pony-branded floor mats appears to be original equipment. The vintage dash is loaded with vintage telemetry, and features retro trim that's still vivid. A correct Philco radio rides above small Stewart Warner accessory gauges, a chrome, cobra-branded shifter and a full-length, factory console. In front of the driver, you'll find a traditional, two-spoke steering wheel. Behind the passengers, a completely restored trunk mixes a correct mat and decklid decal with a fifth 10-spoke alloy and full-size spare tire. And, like most first generation Mustangs, this Shelby's design and detailing is impressive proof that Ford definitely had some of the best interior stylists in the business. As you might imagine, the sale of this investment grade Ford includes ample documentation. The car's lucky new owner will receive:Two original build sheetsAn original buck tagAn original Owner's ManualAn original Maintenance FolioAn original Warranty BookletA certificate for the Shelby American Automobile ClubVintage paperwork As one of Dearborn's best combinations of performance and style, well-restored Shelbys present an excellent opportunity for savvy investors. That opportunity is substantially increased when the car's history and authenticity are so thoroughly documented. This fully sorted coupe, with its correct restoration, original interior and correct drivetrain, is an ideal candidate for rounding out any enthusiast's collection! They'll see offerings like this top notch C2 roadster, a no compromises pro-tourer, and most likely change their tone. It's really no secret why people love vintage Vettes so much; they're some of the meanest, most exclusive and most enjoyable muscle cars on the planet. And despite its exceptional modifications, which include a custom chassis, modern suspension and LS7 power, none of this Sting Ray's beloved design or old school goodness has been compromised. If you're an enlightened enthusiast who enjoys being at the pinnacle of style, the top of the leader board and the front of the show, this world class Chevy is the car of your dreams! Refinished in a stunning coat of DuPont Nassau Blue, and decorated with a white stinger stripe, this handsome roadster is a refreshing change from the sea of red and black Corvettes that typically floods the big shows. That said; the car was certainly intended to be a showpiece from the word "go". And one look at our professional, high resolution photos proves its rebirth was both thorough and precise. It's common knowledge that second generation Corvettes can be challenging restorations. But this roadster has all the signs of an expert job, including great panel alignment, good gaps and no signs of cracks or stress marks in any of the usual places. The soft glow of the car's fresh two-stage presents well from all angles, accenting a body which manages to hit the magical mark that separates a good restoration from an amateur affair. And its desirability as something that's as svelte as it is buff is both fitting and genuine. When you step back and look at this striking Vette, it's not hard to understand why many enthusiasts believe the C2 sits at the pinnacle of classic car design. And a large part of that perception is evoked by the car's excellent detailing. At the front of this roadster, bullet-style marker lights, a brilliant bumper and a red, white and black header cage a body-width, stainless-trimmed grille. At the sides of that grille, colorful fender flags ride between traditional door handles, a chrome bowtie mirror, and chambered and shielded side pipes. Opposite those pipes, a '67 Sting Ray hood leads the eye past C6 Z06 emblems to like-new glass, fresh stainless trim and a white canvas roof. And behind that roof, dual-mode tail lights illuminate a chrome-trimmed fuel filler, a clean "Corvette Sting Ray" script, a chrome-trimmed tag bracket and small, equally brilliant bumpers. This Chevy started life as a run-of-the-mill (if there is such a thing) 327 Corvette. Back in '65, that set-up was considered the hottest small block package on the market. But times change, and today, GM's 7.0 liter LS7 is, hands down, the hottest small block your money has ever been able to buy. Twisting 505 horsepower into a claimed 3.6 second 0-60 time, the 2010 LS7 crate motor rumbling beneath this car's hood is a technological testament to the old rule: more cubic inches equals more power! Founded in GM's very successful Corvette racing program, the brutal mill utilizes a forged crank, titanium rods and hypereutectic pistons to flat out whip pretty much anything with four wheels. A perfect amount of oxygen flows from a big, reusable filter element in to a familiar GM throttle body. That wind mixes with fuel in a factory intake and progresses to CNC-ported cylinder heads that are built with lightweight titanium valves. Immediately following combustion, spent gases roar through 2.5-inch pipes via coated Rewarder Racing Products headers. Items like a Be Cool aluminum radiator, dry-sump lubrication, corrugated hoses and a SPAL electric puller fan ensure rocket-like acceleration. And a Satin Black frame, a chrome brake booster and familiar red dust covers enhance GM's traditionally conservative aesthetics. With a featherweight body and monstrous power on tap, it should come as no surprise that the bottom of this Vette features a host of noteworthy upgrades. The car's road-ready driving dynamics begin with a modern Street Shop chassis. Behind the stout LS7, a 2010 Tremec TKO600 5-speed twists torque through a rugged hydraulic clutch. That torque races to a posi-trac C4 rear end, which is fitted with smooth, 3.45 gears. That first class drivetrain rolls on a fourth generation Corvette independent suspension, which is equipped with fresh QA1 coil-overs. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. Smooth and solid stops are initiated when bright red calipers squeeze drilled and slotted rotors; 13 inches up front and 11 inches out back. Power flows through American Racing Torq Thrust IIs, which spin 245/45ZR17 Kumho Ecsta SPTs around polished spinners. And everything, from this Corvette's braided brake hoses to its clean fuel tank, is expertly finished, superbly detailed and ready for action. Inside this Chevy you'll find a standard leather interior that's completely restored to showroom mint. The thick white seats feel firm to the touch and show virtually no signs of wear. In front of those seats, a sporty, dual-cowl dash hangs a small clock and correct AM/FM head unit between electric gauges and stylish aluminum trim. Under that dash, stain-free carpet centers a small console and traditional chrome shifter between color-keyed floor mats. At the sides of that carpet, good looking door panels trace plush armrests with clean chrome handles and bright stainless trim. And in front of the driver, a wood-rimmed steering wheel twists satin spokes around a colorful horn button. No matter how much of a purist you might be, you have to admit this Sting Ray is one seriously cool ride. It's exceptionally built, incredibly appealing and, thanks to tasteful upgrades and a spectacular restoration, can show with the nicest cars on the planet. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1959 Nash Rambler American Frame Up Built Rambler American Wagon 302 V8 C4 3 Speed Automatic Year: 1959 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: White Mileage: 3805 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 302 V8 Interior color: Red Vehicle info Until recently, many people believed America couldn't build a decent small car. The bright white example you see here wears a clean, high quality restoration that's been exceptionally maintained. Its classy, curvaceous body reflects a smooth two-stage finish that exhibits minimal signs of wear and no major defects. Its re-chromed bumpers and polished stainless trim look as good as the day they left the showroom. Toss this classic's domed hood and you'll find 302 cubic inches of stout Ford V8. At the top of that bright orange mill, a polished air cleaner marries wind with fuel supplied by a spry 2-barrel carburetor. That air/fuel mixture makes its way from a cast iron intake to cast iron heads, which hide under attractive, polished valve covers. When those heads flood the cylinders, a Flame-Thrower coil and traditional points distributor sequence fire through 7mm High Temperature Conductive Silicone Core cables. The smooth 302 torques a tough C4 3-speed, which spins a familiar Ford 8-inch. That proven drivetrain pushes a road-ready suspension, which tracks a high quality Heidts Mustang II front-half with traditional leaf springs. Flip this Rambler's bright chrome handles and you'll find a classy red interior that stays completely true to the car's tasteful detailing. At the front of those skins, a curved dash is layered in glossy paint, correct telemetry and controls for modern air conditioning. Too much chrome just wasn't enough, and user friendliness was exchanged for a healthy combination of flash, flamboyance and showmanship. Just take a look at this sweet Corvette roadster, a car that wraps a hot 283 drivetrain in serious swagger and the kind of Americana that's become the stuff of legend. With its ample parts supply, ease of ownership and classic, all-American appeal, THIS is the top dog cruiser that every golden era gearhead wants to park in their garage. And now, thanks to your like-minded friends at RK Motors Charlotte, you can drive one home in better-than-new condition! So, if you want to be admired by your neighbors, respected by your car club and envied by the folks at the office, pick up the phone and pick up your new Corvette! Before we go any further, here's a detailed look at the car's official GM Canada documentation:VEHICLE: 1957 Chevrolet CorvetteVIN: E57SXXXXXXTRIM: 470PAINT: 440 (Two-tone)SHIPPING ORDER NUMBER: 78582PRODUCTION PLANT: St. Louis, MissouriPRODUCTION DATE: April 26th, 1957SHIPPING DATE: April 26th, 1957MODEL NUMBER: 2934 (Convertible)ENGINE: 283 cubic inch Turbo Fire V8DEALER: 30612NUMBER OF CONVERTIBLES IMPORTED FOR SALE IN CANADA: 20 Owned for more than 25 years by the same family, this well-kept roadster is the beneficiary of an extensive restoration that was conducted during the summer of 2002. During that reboot, the car's sinuous body was completely stripped, thoroughly reconditioned and professionally detailed into a head-turning crowd pleaser. In 2010, its current owner wrote Mann's Corvette Shop a $16K check for fresh Onyx Black and Inca Silver two-stage. And today, roughly 650 miles later, this Chevy's solid condition is typical of what we all wish to find in a nice, road-ready classic. Chevrolet's 1957 Corvette is essentially an improved version of the brand's hand-built '53 model; a halo that not only set a design precedent for American cars, but also began a rich legacy that's now seven generations strong. At the front of this C1, an aggressive chrome grille rides between bright headlights, small, chrome-trimmed parking lamps, a chrome tag bracket and convex bumpers that bend around peaked fenders. Between those fenders, a subtle header emblem leads the eye to a sculpted hood, like-new glass and classy stainless frames that are capped by your choice of a hard or soft top. Below those tops, traditional door handles perfectly complement a correct mirror, chrome-trimmed fender vents and pristine "Fuel Injection" scripts. And at the back of the car, a second header emblem and third "Fuel Injection" script reflect flashy tail lights, two more bumpers and vertical trim spears that center small exhaust pipes in dramatic quarter panels. Tilt this roadster's lightweight hood and you'll find a 283 cubic inch V8 that hangs a familiar 3731548 casting number behind a correct "F4I6EL" build stamp. As the first 8-cylinder engine to equal its displacement with power, this 283 horse small block proved that Chevrolet was very serious about producing a world class sports car. At the top of the spry mill, a chrome air cleaner funnels wind in to a vintage Rochester injection system that's threaded on to clean stainless fuel lines. Below that date-correct juice box, a clean Winters intake perfectly complements finned Corvette valve covers. At the back of that intake, a traditional points distributor shoots spark past correct exhaust manifolds via fresh Radio GM wires. And at the front of those manifolds, a beefy radiator circulates water through pliable hoses and old school squeeze clamps. Whoever performed the restoration on this Corvette did an excellent job of creating an attractive, reliable engine bay that's every bit as detailed as the rest of the car. Bright Chevy Orange paint covers the block from its straight oil pan all the way to its factory oil filler and, as always, looks great against GM's Satin Black bay. As expected, correct textures and decals are present and accounted for. And details like a Delco generator, a Delco master cylinder and a reproduction Delco battery ensure this Chevy runs every bit as good as it looks. Flip this Vette upside down and you'll find a solid, road-ready X-frame that's bolted to clean, unpainted floor tubs. Behind the hot motor, a tough 4-speed transmission twists torque through a fully overhauled rear end. At the ends of the floors, a fully restored double A-arm and solid axle suspension has been completely returned to factory specifications. At the corners of the car, standard equipment 4-wheel drum brakes complement good handling characteristics with solid and confident stops. Exhaust is funneled by stainless, true-dual pipes, which run from the aforementioned manifolds to long, glasspack-style mufflers. Power flows to the pavement via standard 15-inch steelies, which spin fresh 6.70-15 Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewalls around traditional stainless wheel covers. And, in case you're a stickler for authenticity, our sale includes the car's correct 3-speed transmission. In keeping with this roadster's high performance theme, interior options were kept minimal. A simple Beige cockpit provides everything necessary without sacrificing good looks. Thanks to the car's high quality reboot, its textured seats still have years of life left in them. There's slick California carpet that, thanks to heavy duty floor mats, still features clean shading. Front and center, stylish, retro gauges, a rare radio delete and a convex speaker look great inside Chevy's traditional dual-cowl dash. In the middle of the floor, a petite chrome shifter is as handsome as it is stylish. In front of the driver, a speed-drilled steering wheel spins a color-keyed rim around a polished cross-flag horn button. At the sides of the passengers, scuff-free door panels center perfectly placed armrests below optional power windows. And behind the car's retracted top, a fully restored trunk shows virtually no signs of use. The sale of this classy Chevy includes a vintage Operator's Manual, a receipt for the car's 2010 paint work, official GM Canada documentation and the aforementioned transmission. Exceptionally built and incredibly fun, this Corvette preserves the timeless swagger of 50s Americana. And, thanks to its fuel injected 283, the car is a blast to drive anytime, anywhere. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: there really isn't a better way to enjoy your Sunday afternoons. Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to experience a stellar piece of Motor City history! Name E-Mail Phone Question Who are we? Jeremy and Jennifer Smith started Autos of Palm Beach after returning from three years of volunteer work in South America. They both enjoyed the Internet and automobiles so in 2002 they started helping people invest in cars via eBay. They worried that honest people would have a hard time in the used car business, but thanks to the feedback system on eBay, honesty is rewarded. In 2008, Johan Spalding joined Autos of Palm Beach, helping the company grow. In 2013, Johan took the reigns as owner of Autos of Palm Beach. Shortly thereafter, he partnered with fellow car enthusiast Daniel Malerba, and along with a friendly and knowledgeable support staff, they continue to assist people in finding quality used vehicles. Dan and Johan maintain the company’s stellar reputation for world-class customer service. In the last eleven years the company has been happily involved with thousands of different individuals. Autos of Palm Beach is a small operation and handles only the nicest cars. The office can be reached at 561-207-7198. This may be paid via PayPal or credit-card. US Dollars only. Payment of Balance Due The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due including applicable fees and taxes within 5 days of the close of online auction/ad unless otherwise agreed to by seller. Payment Methods Preferred method of payment is certified bank check, bank wire transfers or third-party financing. All funds must be in US Dollars only. Cash is acceptable with pre-notification so that large transactions can occur during banking hours. Please be aware that any cash amounts over $10,000.00 will include the completion of IRS form 8300. It is a simple form & basically for reporting purposes only. NOTE: Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place BEFORE making your final bid. Call for more information. We apologize for any inconvenience but company policy is that we do not accept credit card as method of payment beyond the $500.00 deposit amount. Financing as Method of Payment When seeking pre-approval for an auto loan please remember that some lenders only work with franchise dealers. Autos of Palm Beach is licensed as an Independent Dealer. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 7 years or with more than 100,000 miles. Make sure, then, if financing, that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of the vehicle before bidding. Again, please arrange financing before bidding. If you ‘win’ an auction you herein agree to subject yourselves to these terms and, therefore, if you cannot arrange financing your deposit will be held by Autos of Palm Beach to help cover costs involved in the auction/ad. (Under some circumstances, with prior agreement, the deposit may be applied towards a future purchase of a vehicle from Autos of Palm Beach.) General Terms We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early at any time should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end and make arrangements for payment and delivery at that time. Terms of Deposit and Payment of Balance Due outlined herein apply. If we have not received contact within 24 hours of auction end we reserve the right to further advertise the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. This vehicle is also being offered for sale outside of eBay and should a sale agreement be made we reserve the right to withdraw or end the auction in accord with eBay rules and regulations. For example, No Reserve auctions may not be ended during the last 12 hours except to end it during that time and sell to the high bidder. Inspections A third-party inspection is highly recommended to avoid any misunderstandings. We have made an earnest effort to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. We aim to only carry quality pre-owned vehicles, however, please know that any and all pre-owned vehicles will have typical scratches, nicks, or dings inherent for its year, and mechanical parts are subject to fail. Some vehicles have required paintwork (i.e. bumpers, mirrors, etc) to improve quality. All such work that we may have done is by professionals and of high quality. If you would like to arrange an inspection, please contact us before auction end or before a purchase commitment and we will do our best to coordinate with you to make the vehicle available for your arranged inspection. Buyer / bidder is responsible for payment of the inspection. If upon personal and/or authorized professional inspection of the purchased vehicle at our facility, buyer finds a substantial discrepancy between the published report and actual vehicle, we will correct the problem at no charge, work out a compromise, or refund all monies paid. Buyer will not be responsible for any eBay related fees and will be dismissed from any contractual obligation with eBay to purchase the vehicle. This is if the inspection proves vastly different from published ad. Returns are allowed in the event the vehicle is shipped and you are dissatisfied. However, a 10% (of purchase price) restocking fee applies. The return must take place within 7 days from receipt and the vehicle must have under 250 miles difference upon return. Return shipping fees are the obligation of the buyer. Shipping Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We are happy to assist in arranging shipping as a value added service only. Call Johan at 561-249-1433 for a current quote/estimate from our location to yours. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the shipper has signed for the vehicle. We are NOT the shipping company. Shipping companies are independent of our dealership. We subscribe to a central service which allows us to make your shipment available for several thousand shippers. If the route matches theirs, they call us and request the load. We check their feedback as recorded on the central service and verify their cargo insurance as well as make inquiry as to their estimated pickup & delivery time. Delays happen and are often uncontrollable and some shippers prove to be more communicative than others. For the most part, though, it is a relatively smooth process and we will do our best to walk you thru the process. If you choose to arrange your own shipping, note that for sales tax purposes we require a copy of the Bill of Lading when the vehicle is picked up and a copy of the signed delivery receipt when you have received the vehicle out of Florida. Please, we prefer that you do not select DAS as your service provider as we have not had positive experiences with that company. Accessories Vehicles offered for sale by Autos of Palm Beach are pre-owned. When these units are purchased from the dealer-only auctions as trade-ins or lease turn-ins they may not have some ‘accessories’ which you may feel should be included. Such items include things like books & manuals, extra keys, remotes, headphones (for entertainment packages), tools, cargo nets, floor mats, CD cartridges, wheel lock keys, etc. Items as these (or others you may think of) are not automatically included or provided by us. In our written descriptions, we do our best to list things accurately. HOWEVER, we do make mistakes and may overlook an item listed as included which did not come with the car. In such a case, please refer to the photos of the vehicle to see if you can see the items listed. For example, we usually take a photo showing any books and keys or remotes that come with the vehicle. If you don’t see a photo of it, please ask us to check to see if it is included with the vehicle. Please do not assume anything and know that we don’t mind you asking us to double-check some things. Disclaimer We make every effort to present information that is accurate. However, it is based on data provided by the vehicle VIN decoding and/or other sources including but not limited to car history data reports and therefore exact configuration, color, specifications, accessories should be used as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any inaccuracies, claims or losses of any nature. Furthermore, inventory is subject to prior sale and prices are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include taxes, title and registration fees, finance and/or documentation charges, and shipping fees when applicable. To ensure your complete satisfaction, please verify accuracy prior to purchase. Also, due to human imperfection, and/or occasional software glitches, if you see a vehicle advertised, for example, for $200.00, please understand we are not selling a car for such a price and a correction will be made. A click of the wrong button can mean the difference between a starting price and a selling price. If you see such an amazing ‘deal’ please contact us right away to verify as it is likely an error and we will not be able to honor it. Sorry, we are only human! J Fees and Taxes Autos of Palm Beach charges a Dealer Prep Fee in the amount of $295.00 on all vehicle purchase transactions. It must be stated that ‘This charge represents costs and profit to the dealer for items such as inspecting, cleaning and adjusting vehicles, and preparing documents related to the sale.’ Florida law statutes mandate that any such fee must be disclosed and included in the final sale price without discrimination. With online auctions the final sale price is not known in advance, so please note that the amount of $295.00 will be added to the closing or agreed amount of purchase so that the final price will include the fee and such will be reflected on the Bill of Sale, also called a Purchase Agreement or Buyer’s Order. A BIN (Buy-It-Now) price on eBay does include the $295.00 charge. Autos of Palm Beach is licensed in the State of Florida and is responsible for collecting applicable sales taxes related to vehicle sales. Please note: Sales Tax for Florida Residents: 6% for the state plus any applicable county discretionary tax. Out-of-state (non-Florida resident) shipping your vehicle to your state: We retain a Bill of Lading as evidence of your shipping and do not collect sales tax. You are responsible for paying your taxes, title and registration fees when you register the vehicle in your home state. Out-of-state (non-Florida resident) taking delivery in Florida: If you take delivery of your vehicle here in Florida and we issue you a temporary tag, and your state has a Reciprocal Agreement with Florida, then we must collect your state’s applicable Sales Tax up to a maximum of the Florida rate of 6%. Any taxes over that amount you will pay when you register the vehicle in your state. If your rate is less than 6% then the lower rate will be collected. You will not be double-taxed. We will provide you a notarized document as to the amounts collected which you may present to your motor vehicle department as evidence of sales tax already paid. Any balance of tax due and related title and registration fees are the buyer’s responsibility. There are a couple of states which currently do not allow credit " AR and MS. To avoid paying tax to FL and AR or MS we should make the delivery to you out-of-state by a transporter. We must retain the shipping Bill of Lading as evidence of the out-of-state delivery. Exporting: If you are purchasing a vehicle which will be exported overseas we can only release the vehicle to you via a transporter / shipper as the vehicle may not be operated on Florida roads with a temporary tag unless sales tax has been collected. We request a copy of the export bill of lading or dock receipt for our records and state audit purposes so that we are not held responsible for taxes. Warranty Vehicles sold from our dealership are being sold “AS-IS”. No representations or warranties are made by seller. A Manufacturer Warranty for the vehicle may still apply. Car history reports sometimes convey beginning or ending periods of manufacturer warranties. The best way to confirm this information is to call a manufacturer’s franchise dealer (ask for the service department) and inquire as to the warranty details. You will need to provide them with the VIN when you call. An extended warranty may be available for the vehicle. Please contact us for details. Jurisdiction The jurisdiction of this transaction is Palm Beach County, Florida. By bidding on or making an agreement to purchase this vehicle you will have entered into a legal and binding contract. You agree not to leave negative feedback until we have been given opportunity to correct any issue that may be brought up with this transaction. If you have any questions about these terms please contact us. Notice to Bidders on eBay We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. Zero Feedback Bidders Due to a high ratio of zero feedback bidders that prove to be non-paying bidders we request that any new bidders with zero feedback contact us via phone or email prior to bidding. If a zero feedback bidder wins the auction and we cannot contact them or he/she does not contact us within one hour after the auction closes we will assume he/she is a non-paying bidder. We then reserve the right to make a second-chance offer to the next bidder down or sell the vehicle otherwise. Non-Paying Bidder If the deposit is not received within 48hours via Paypal (or 2 business days sent via courier and you have told us it is coming this way) of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 5 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it to another qualified buyer. THANK YOU! We thank you for considering this purchase from Autos of Palm Beach. We all recognize the value of a conversation to clear up any misunderstandings and address any concerns or interests with your investment of a new vehicle. Please feel free to give a call to the person listed in the ad and they will do their best to make it as simple a process as possible for you. Happy Bidding! [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1937 Buick Series 40 Frame Off Built Steel Series 40 Vortec 4L60E with A/C Year: 1937 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Burgundy Mileage: 959 Transmission type: 4 Speed Automatic Engine: V8 Interior color: Gray Vehicle info For 111 years Buick has provided substantial, unpretentious luxury to everyone from Wall Street bankers to professional athletes. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Corvette Sting Ray Pro Touring Roadster LS7 V8 5 Speed Year: 1965 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Blue Mileage: 1220 Transmission type: 5 Speed Manual Engine: LS7 V8 Interior color: White Vehicle info If anyone tries to tell you only numbers-matching Corvettes are worthy of investment and ownership, just point them to our RK Motors Charlotte website. If you're looking for the perfect opportunity to own a car that has it all, your search is officially over! About this auction & rk motors charlotte Please note that all sales are binding and final. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1968 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Investment Grade Shelby GT500 428 Police Interceptor V8 Year: 1968 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Gold Mileage: 90114 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 428 Police Intercepter V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info From evil 60s Trans Am racers to Fox Body SVOs, the Mustang camp has ALWAYS offered a whole portfolio of unique options and fabled powertrains. And while it eventually spawned some of America's premier stoplight warriors, the brand itself started as Chrysler's entry level marque to rival Ford and Chevrolet in both sales and popularity. That means many of the storied muscle cars enthusiasts know and love began life like this stylish 1964 Sport Fury. This all-American cruiser HAS to be one of the coolest Plymouths on the planet! If you're a Mopar collector who's itching for some early Mopar American Muscle that'll be the star of every cruise night in town, this '64 Fury is your ticket! Before we get too far, let's first decode the VIN and fender tag: VIN: 34462068623: Plymouth 8 cylinder 4: Sport Fury 4: 1964 6: Built in Newark, DE 206862: Basic production numbers Now let's decode the fender tag: SO: 0619 Planned Production date June 19th 1964 Number: 0227 Production sequence BDY: 342 2-door Sports Fury hardtop sedanTRM: P4R Red Vinyl Interior PNT: PP1 Ruby Paint The beneficiary of a complete 18-month nut and bolt restoration by Mopar creations in Massillon, Ohio, today this 1964 Plymouth Super Fury sits with a date code correct potent 383 under the hood and a timeless look. A total of 1262 hours went into making this the ultimate B-body to polish off the collection of any Mopar collector. Originally leaving the factory in a PP1 code Ruby paint, today it sits in a vibrant shade of white that is absolutely stunning. Plymouth designers were working directly with the sales team and were being instructed to make the car's look as wide as possible in both the front and rear. The quad lamps that you see set within the body wide front grille were chosen to help achieve that look. Above the quad lamps Plymouth lettering sits just below the hood, while below, a wraparound chrome bumper gives the front end an incredible look. In fact all the aluminum and stainless trim was reconditioned and buffed to perfection. On the hood is a Plymouth hood ornament that frames the numbers 383 and sits at the end of the chrome trim that travels the center of the long hood. Down the sides, more chrome trim splits near the end of the front fender by a red white and blue emblem to form two chrome strips that run to the rear of the car. On the back quarter panel and rear of the trunk you'll find chrome 'Sport Fury' lettering, and another red white and blue Plymouth emblem. More chrome trim encompasses the rear tail lights, and a chrome rear bumper sits above the dual exhausts. Pop the hood and you'll find a potent 383cid V8 that cranks out 320hp. The block, which wears a correct 2468130 casting number, features era correct turquoise paint that contrasts nicely against the white back drop. Under the flat black finish air cleaner, a correct Carter four-barrel carburetor delivers atomized fuel to the intake manifold. From there the fuel mixture travels through the intake, to 516 heads that were built by Precision Machine in Canton, Ohio. The block has a .040 oversized bore and a .010 Crankshaft turndown. Speed pro pistons and re-conditioned rods help achieve combustion. The spark is delivered by a Mopar electronic ignition system that was added for the ease of modern conveniences. The original dual point distributor is included in the sale. After combustion, the spent gases travel out the exhaust manifolds into the 2.5" dual exhausts. Look under the car and you'll find an equally clean undercarriage. The floors are rock solid, painted in black and provide the perfect backdrop for the restored suspension. Behind the motor, a correct A833 4-speed manual transmission takes care of gear selection with the same authority it did in 1964. From there the power travels to the 8 3/4-inch rear end that has been equipped with 3.55 clutch type positraction differential. Up front, you'll find a powder coated K-frame that was completely rebuilt with new upper control arms, bushings and ball joints. New Monroe shocks were used in the front and rear and color coded to match OEM colors. Out back, re-arched leaf springs house the 8 3/4 rear-end, and a brand new gas tank with a 5/16" sending unit was also installed. Stopping power comes courtesy of 4-wheel drum brakes, and in front of those brakes you'll find 14" rims that feature period correct spinner hub caps. Those rims have been wrapped in Michelin X radial tires that feature a thin white line on the sidewall that ties into the body color. As you might have noticed, this car originally left the factory with red interior to match its ruby exterior. However thanks to an extensive amount of work from Legendary Interiors, today the vinyl blue interior accents the white exterior very nicely. Swing open the doors and you'll be greeted by blue vinyl front bucket seats that are separated by a middle console. Below the seats, brand new blue carpet shows no signs of wear, while in the center of the floor a correct Hurst 4-speed allows quick gear changes. In front of the driver is the reconditioned original dash that was painted to match the rest of the interior. Just in front of the dash is a restored Sport Fury steering wheel that houses Plymouth lettering and their red, white, and blue logo. Above the driver, a brand new taught headliner finishes off the incredible look of the interior. Included in the sale of this immaculate Sport Fury is a binder full of receipts from its extensive restoration, warranty booklets, and operating instructions. This '64 Plymouth is extremely cool and has been extremely well restored. It could act either as a super cool cruiser or with over 300hp, it easily pushes into the sleeper category. With its burly V8, tailored interior and dramatic styling, it represents the pinnacle of American styling and manufacturing dominance. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1968 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Investment Grade Shelby GT500 428 Super Cobra Jet V8 Year: 1968 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Gold Mileage: 90114 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 428 Police Intercepter V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info From evil 60s Trans Am racers to Fox Body SVOs, the Mustang camp has ALWAYS offered a whole portfolio of unique options and fabled powertrains. While most casual observers will argue that Ford's Cobra Jet is the pinnacle of Shelby powerplants, this Mustang's beefy Police Interceptor V8 is nothing to scoff at. Lift the lightweight hood and you'll find a 428 cubic inch, "C7ME-A" branded block that wears an era-correct August (H) 22nd (22), 1967 (7) casting date. Rock-solid from its carburetor all the way to its oil pan, this Ford Blue mill claims a very conservative 355 horsepower. That said; most experts agree the engine probably puts out closer to 420 horsepower, and as much as 450 lb./ft. of torque. At the top of the rugged powerplant, a finned and "COBRA" branded air cleaner jams oxygen into a big Holley carburetor that's bolted to a correct aluminum intake.
