Normal.dotm 0 0 1 373 2129 Home 17 4 2614 12.0 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false I bought this car in 2011 with the current engine/drivetrain already in it. It has a 350 (not original to the car) with 350 automatic transmission, column shift. Since then I have done the following: -Installed wiper blades (they are operational) -Replaced all glass (except for the windshield) and had them tinted -Converted the front brakes to disc (new spindles, rotors, calipers, etc.) with new front brake lines -Upgraded power brake booster and master cylinder -Replaced rear brakes, springs, wheel cylinders -Installed 16" electric cooling fan -Replaced ENTIRE wiring throughout the car with American Autowire Harness -Relocated battery to the trunk and added remote starter solenoid and battery tender connection (tender included with the sale) -Replaced the blower motor -Installed Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust from headers back -Installed Fatmat sound deadener throughout interior, including roof -New carpet, front door panels, arm rests, rear view mirror, SS gauges, seat belts, glove box, steering wheel -Installed custom console with DVD player, tachometer, remote trunk release, 12V accessory, and accent lights -Installed Infinity speaker: door speakers, 6x9s in rear deck, and 10" baseline powered subwoofer -Replaced rear trunk lock cylinder with backup camera -Installed fire extinguisher, tire iron, and jack in the trunk -Replaced rear shocks and springs -Installed Cragar Magnum 510 with BF Goodrich tires -Painted trunk with rubberized undercoating and coated the bottom with bed liner -Upgraded the alternator Everything works as it should except the horn. The wiring is there but I have not yet installed a horn. ::Condition:: Paint 6/10: no rust! there are some scratches and the paint job is mediocre (e.g. lint under the clear coat) and I do not have side mirrors on her. Interior 7/10: needs headliner, visors and seats recovered, rear side panels installed (new panels included with sale) Frame 9/10: no rust! good condition Engine/Drivetrain 7/10: runs strong, small transmission leak, could use a rebuild for max performance This car runs and drives great, no issues with steering or pulling. She is a solid car, I just don't have the time for her anymore and she is 75% restored. This is a rare chevelle because is it a 2-door post sedan and there aren't too many of these left since they were used for racing back in the day (the body is lighter than non-post cars since the post provides more rigidity). Please ask if you have any specific questions. Clear title in hand. Buyer responsible for shipping. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for checking another awesome ride offered by M.E.S. Motorsports; where our cars are notorious for Making Everyone Stare! What we have for sale here is a super rare 1966 Pontiac GTO 2 door post! Less than 50,000 original miles! This is seriously one of the sweetest cars that I have ever seen! I took over 100 photos to try to show how clean and solid this car really is. Please read the full description and look at all the photos and then email with any questions. Now on to the good stuff….. History – This car belongs to the father of my brother in law. Even though I cannot take credit for building it, I jumped at the chance to help him sell it when he asked. It's not often that you see a car like this for sale. I have gone over the car pretty extensively with him and the information presented here is what he relayed to me. He is the 4th owner of this super rare, original California GTO 2 door post. He purchased the car around 10 years ago after it had been frame off restored. Pretty much every nut and bolt was replaced/restored at that time. He has always stored it in a garage and has only put about 3000 miles on during his ownership. It is a beautiful example of one of Pontiac’s greatest designs and is a multiple show winner. He has a binder full of paperwork, PHS documents and receipts that will go to the new owner. Drivetrain – Numbers Matching 389 Tri-Power (Tri-power is not original to the car) with numbers matching 2 speed Powerglide transmission. The motor is healthy and runs excellent and the car shifts great. She fires right up. Dual exhaust sounds good but is not at all obnoxious. This car cruises down the road very nicely. Exterior – The exterior of this car is truly stunning. The paint is not the original color. It’s a 70’s GM color called Phantom Blue Metallic and it is beautiful. The car was taken apart and painted and put back together in the correct way. The fitments of all panels are perfect and there is no rust that I saw. All the glass is in great shape. The original bumpers were re-chromed and all the door and window trim is in excellent condition. There is also a functional hood tach that was added as this was not an option for that year. Underneath – The underneath of this car is amazing. I saw no rust anywhere. The underneath was painted black and still looks super clean. This is the most solid, original car that I have even been under. The trunk is spotless as well. I took many photos to try to show how nice it is. Interior – The interior is no different than the rest of the car. It was all redone and still looks brand new. The seats were recovered in a black cloth as opposed to the original vinyl. The rest of the interior retains the stock features with the exception of the aftermarket steering wheel, the CD Player with speakers and the three gauge pod under the dash. This is a factory AC car (although the AC is not currently working). The dash, carpet, seats, door panels, headliner etc. all look perfect to me and show little to no signs of wear. In my opinion, the original center console is the only part of the interior that shows its age. See pic. All lights, wipers, and heat work as they should. Chassis/Suspension- The suspension parts all still look new as well and were all replaced. There are rear air shocks that can be adjusted. Power steering and power disc brakes up front make it very easy to drive. The car really does cruise down the road nicely for an almost 50 year old car! Wheel/Tires – The rims are mint condition 16” Torque Thrust II’s with GTO center caps. The tires are still like brand new and are Kuhmo Exsta’s with 225/55ZR16 up front and 255/50ZR16 in the rear. Known issues – While this is one of the nicest cars I have seen lately, no car is perfect. With that said, here are the few minor items that I see or was told about by the owner. I don’t mention these to detract from the car at all, but just want full disclosure. There are a few minor blemishes on/in the paint and I do mean minor. I tried to photograph them but only one or two would even show up. The rear bumper has a crease in it and little of the chrome is starting to peel. See pic. The factory AC is not currently functioning. It’s believed to just need a belt and some Freon. The speedometer needle is broken. The rear transmission seal drips especially when the car sits for extended periods. The owner may try to have this fixed if possible. And lastly, the car has an original radiator in it and while it does not over heat, it can run hotter on hot days. Title – Clear SC title in the owner’s possession. Other – The car is currently insured with Hagerty Insurance at a value of $75,000. The car is located in Spartanburg, SC, 29301I have done my best to describe the car honestly and accurately. With that said, please ask any questions through eBay. As this is not my car, I may have to consult with the owner so it may take me a little longer to get back to you but I will make every effort to respond to all questions within 24 hours. Additional pictures – http://s1318.photobucket.com/user/mesmotorsports/library/1966%20Pontiac%20GTO Short walk around video - https://youtu.be/JF9TrktEfYs About us - M.E.S. Motorsports, LLC was founded and started by myself and my best friend of almost 30 years now. While M.E.S. was “officially” put into action around 2012, it really started back in the 90’s during our high school days. Even back then we were in each other’s garage every weekend working on our cars. We have always shared the same enthusiasm for that one thing…..Automobiles! Hot rods, classics, customs, sports cars, fast cars, loud cars, basically anything with 4 wheels and an engine. For as long as I can remember we’ve always enjoyed “playing” with cars and recently decided to share our passion and creativity with others and thus M.E.S. Motorsports, LLC was officially launched . At this time we are not licensed car dealers but rather auto enthusiasts with a passion for buying and selling cars to and from other auto enthusiasts and collectors. Our goal is to sell cars that you can actually get into and drive anywhere! We believe that cars are actually meant to be driven on the road and not just stored. A lot of the cars that we find are from individuals who are simply not using them anymore or that started restoring them but never finished. Some cars may just need some cleaning and a tune up while other may need paint or finish work. Whatever the case is, we try to address any issues and get them road worthy. We hate to see any car just sitting, rotting or not being used. We believe that everyone out there should have the car of their dreams and that they should be able to drive it anywhere they want to go! Please read full description and look all the photos over thoroughly. If you have any questions about this car then please feel free to email through eBay or directly at [email protected]. We recently started this eBay account under the business name but I have been buying and selling on eBay for over 10 years with 100% feedback. I love this Malibu, it runs great and if your looking for a good looking silver car that is trust  worthy. STOP  and look no more. Exterior and Interior is in good condition. Tires are in farely new condtion. I had a lot of extra work done on the car to be sure I was safe, being an older lady. One of  the wonderful things that sold me on this car was the sterio, so if your into using new tecknology in  sterios with Auxilery hook up to your phone and a Ipod hook up. Then this is your car. The young man who  put the sterio in the car went on a mission. He was into loud music and nice sound. The radio lights up when  you turn the car on. The floor had security light to help you see day or night. Auto head lights all day long  when your driving. When you lock the door, if you bush it down 3 times after shutting the door, it will honk to let you know it's locked.  It has a deep trunk, spare tire, jack ect. I even have left the Machanic name on my key chaine for more infomation.  I have saved all my work information I have done on the car. Lately, the hood is sticking so it's needs two people  two open it, I think it needs wwd-40. I did a vedio of the car running and inside the car, tires and more. I also  took the pictures of the car. i will post a link latter. Please contact me. I am looking for what I paid for it and put into it. I will work on best offer. Cash only please. Julie

Everything on the car is in working condition and is an 8.5 out of 10 or better. This deuce has won its fair share of awards including Best Chevy and Best 60’s Modified, but don't let looks fool you, this is a driver’s car not a trailer queen. This Nova has a fun combination of old school mixed with new school. Expect looks and comments at stoplights when you are behind the wheel. To the best of my knowledge, this Pro Touring Nova was built in 2008 and was painted in May of 2011. The motor/accessories, complete exhaust system, rear end and bags were installed in June of 2014. And the story goes...This 1955 210 was originally bought in August of 1955 in Portland, OR. It was purchased by a single woman who drove this '55 until she was 97 years old. She was a fairly famous hat maker and drove the car back and forth to work. Her daily drive to and from her hat shop was 7 miles each way. After her death the car was sold by her neighbors, seeing as she had no relatives or children. The current owner purchased the car in the mid '80's. The only part of the car that has been restored is the paint. It repainted in a 2 stage job around 1990. This 1955 210 post is a shining example of a Survivor.Call Desert Wind Customs today 208-720-8256 PHOTO GALLERY SHARE WITH OTHERS Ad generated by CarsForSale.com CarsForSale.com is the most affordable and effective autolisting provider Find out why.

It looks terrific in solid turquoise and Chevy’s unique Black and Grey Cobblestone interior. The 350 V-8 and automatic transmission make it a delight to drive and enjoy! This California car was restored during 1996 and 1997 in Hesperia, CA by an old student of the present owner. The student sold the car in about 1998 to Joe Bond who was a Sheriff living in Long Beach, CA. The Sheriff took it to car shows and added some custom lighting to show off the restored and detailed engine compartment. In 1999 Larry, the present owner of the Chevy, bought it and has since continued to make improvements. In the 16 years of his ownership he has travelled about 9,000 miles. Total miles since the Chevy was built are approximately 12,000 miles. The engine is a 350 cu in V-8 from a Camaro and is mated to a 350 transmission. It has a large capacity Griffin radiator and an aluminum water pump and shroud. The Chevy has Vintage air conditioning that blows nice and cold! It has a radio with cassette for all you old timers… The front end has a two inch drop spindle with front and rear sway bars and American Racing wheels and new radials. Larry added a special Quadrajet Eddlebrock carburetor and it has a Flow Master exhaust. He also added an Ididit steering column along with a Glide front seat finished with the correct style cobblestone interior fabric. The Chevy comes with two car covers: a California Car Cover for daily use and a less expensive cover for use at car shows. It also comes with a bug bra and cover. This is a terrific car to show and tour. It could also be a very cool daily driver! For more details please contact Harry at 951.901.5088 or email us at [email protected]. Chevy, 150 Post Custom, 350/350, Restored, CA CarYear1957MakeChevroletModelBel Air/150/210VINA57L107357Mileage12000TransmissionAutomaticEngine8 Cylinder, 350 LExterior ColorTealInterior ColorGrayTitleClearThis is a nicely restored Custom two-door Post. Dashing two-tone looks, lots of chrome for a perfect '50s presentation, and four portholes on the side indicating big horsepower under the hood, and you have one of the earliest "gentleman's hot rods." This four-door does a fantastic job of disguising its family sedan DNA, with a profile that looks quite sleek and the pillar-less Riviera hardtop design gives it a very appealing profile that looks great from any angle. The two-tone Cambridge Blue and Dover White paint accentuates the Buick's dramatic curves, particularly the sweep-spear styling that started in 1942 and continues to this day. Finish quality is very good, with four doors that fit well and paint that shines up beautifully, and there's a bit of metallic in the blue so it glows from within when the light hits it just right. The Century remained Buick's top performer, and they didn't hold back with the advertising, with 'Century' script on the rear doors and four portholes on the front fenders, denoting a senior car. Of course, as a product of the 1950s, there's literally a ton of chrome on the car, all of it in very good condition with a fine front grille that's especially cool. You'll also note that the tailpipes exit subtly from the lower edges of the rear bumper, another popular '50s styling trick that works quite well here. There's a lot of space in the big Buick's interior, which also wears newer upholstery. It's not totally correct, but the fabric seating surfaces work with original-style vinyl to create an interior that's both comfortable and functional. Door panels are neatly finished with painted garnish moldings and sleek armrests, and the carpets were recently replaced. A ribbon-style speedometer stretches the width of the instrument panel, with auxiliary gauges just below and the original AM radio to its right, putting everything within easy reach. A big steering wheel was more about style than leverage, since power steering makes this Century effortless to drive. The trunk is as large as you'd expect, and is trimmed with original-looking materials and carries a full-sized spare of indeterminate age. Buick's "Nailhead" V8 was introduced in 1953, and by 1956 it had grown to 255 horsepower, making it one of the best performers you could buy at any price. Buick capitalized on the engine's mountainous torque curve and even with that much sheetmetal around it, this is a very strong performer. Buick Turquoise paint had been in use since just after the war and gives the engine a purposeful look especially under that big air cleaner. The engine bay is quite authentic, including original generator and power steering system, as well as the factory heater boxes on the firewall. Backed by a buttery-smooth Dynaflow automatic transmission, it accelerates like an electric motor and cruises effortlessly at 70 MPH. A bubbly dual exhaust system sounds appropriate for the big sedan and with a uniform layer of undercoating on the chassis, it stays quiet and comfortable inside the car. Flashy red wheels with full wheel covers are fitted with 235/75/15 BFGoodrich Silvertown wide whitewall radials for a period-correct look. Buick fans know the Century is the model to own, and this gorgeous Riviera sedan makes it easy to appreciate full-sized luxury and performance. This is due to the fact that they are over 25 years old. When bidding on a car please keep this in mind. It can be anything you want it to be, from bone stock show piece to this handsome, functional, and beautifully built resto-mod. Fitted with all the modern conveniences, it is an awesome blend of that great '50s look and today's functionality. Bright red certainly grabs your attention and it's fortunate that the bodywork underneath is nicely done, because there are going to be a lot of eyeballs on this 210. Built 12 years ago, it's holding up well despite two owners having fun behind the wheel and if you wanted to take it up a notch or two, a professional cut and buff would make the red really pop once again. Nothing has been modified, shaved, or chopped, because, after all, what could you possibly do to make this car look better? Instead, they seemed to realize that the factory got it right and focused on making it sparkle. That means all the trim was pulled for the paint job, buffed and re-chromed, then carefully reinstalled so it all lines up just right. The simplicity of the '55 works especially well, offering a great contrast between the car's modern performance and old-fashioned look, and things like the jet-inspired hood ornament and angular taillights are details we'll never see again on a production car. The interior focuses on comfort rather than all-out style, and when you're cruising you'll appreciate it even more. The cloth upholstery was done when the car was built and it still looks great, with no splits, tears, or other issues, even in high-traffic areas like the driver's seat. There's a bit of discoloration in the usual spots, but even that might clean up without a lot of effort. Dark carpets work well to anchor the interior while the light gray upholstery keeps it bright. A color-matched dashboard and steering column bring a bit of color inside and the new billet inserts on the dash sparkle the way they might have in 1955. The original gauges are gone, replaced by a cool custom setup from Classic Instruments that includes all the major functions. You'll also be pleased to discover that they've thoughtfully added A/C with discreet vents under the dash as well as an AM/FM stereo radio with remote CD changer in the trunk. And that trunk is neatly detailed with a reproduction rubber mat and plenty of bright red paint. The engine is a 350 cubic inch crate motor that makes plenty of power to make the lightweight car a lot of fun to drive. Augmented by a Holley 4-barrel carburetor on an Edelbrock intake manifold, it has right-now throttle response that makes it feel agile around town. Plenty of chrome and polished aluminum make the engine bay look right when you open the hood at a show and with a big aluminum radiator up front it never threatens to get hot, even on the warmest days. A dual master cylinder manages the power front disc brakes and power steering has been added to make it easy for anyone to handle. Long-tube headers feed a burbling 2.5-inch exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and the underside, while not detailed for show, is just perfect for a car that's going to see the road every chance it gets. 16-inch Torque Thrusts accentuate the stance and carry 245/50/16 performance radials. A perennial favorite, the '55 Chevy continues to make friends, and this clean, well-built, and affordable 2-door Post makes a great choice for summer fun.
