You Should Know What They Know! Over 5 million AutoCheck reports are run by consumers, dealers and auto auctions each month. Warranty Information This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. Terms & Conditions Opinions of classic vehicle condition and originality are subjective. Because we offer a wide variety of different model cars, we are not able to learn all the details of the vehicles offered. These details include identification numbers, equipment packages, markings, codes, stampings or any other way someone may identify what a vehicle is equipped with currently or what it may have been equipped with previously. Our knowledge is limited. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of the “Description” through personal or hired inspection service. We do not guarantee condition, originality or authenticity of parts, equipment, colors, equipment packages or documentation or any other item that is part of the vehicle or comes with the vehicle. All vehicles older than 10 years old are sold with exempt mileage on titles. The odometer reading listed in any of our advertisements is only a declaration of what the odometer is reading at the time of listing and that the odometer reading cannot be deemed as accurate mileage. If mileage is represented as true mileage on title it will be transferred to the buyer as such. Otherwise, even if described as actual mileage by previous owner, milege will read as exempt on title. Information past on by previous owner is not a guaranty of "actual mileage" in any way or form. We are not responsible for misprinted information. This car listed for sale on other websites and on display in our public warehouse. We reserve the right to sell the vehicle before the end of our auction and as long as we can provide proof of such sale, we are not obligated to sell the car to the winning bidder.Fee and Tax Information: There are no taxes collected on vehicles that are shipped out of state with a copy of the bill of laiding before the car is picked up. If you require a Florida temporary tag so that you may drive the car home, we will be happy to supply this for you. We collect the sales tax at the rate equal to your home state sales tax. With the copy of the bill of sale and the title most states give credit for sales tax collected in Florida. Please check with your state DMV to see if your state reciprocates sales tax with Florida Dept of revenue. We will be generating all paperwork required for ownership transfer. We send the vehicle title after payment recieved and Florida DMV paperwork is signed. Florida DMV allows 30 days to deliver title. We send the title via express mail. We also help arrange or provide assistance with shipping. Vehicles are available for pick up during normal working hours. We charge a fee of $295 fee on every sale and no other dealer fees. This includes every sale or auction, even one that you have already won but did not see these terms in advance.See our other listingsDisclaimer: This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. This truck is full size with full power. No lightweight poser. It has a great straight, solid, rust free body an older paint refinish still holding up well. It has a nice interior, not new but nice , new tires, lot's of new mechanical items throughout. It's a cool old classic but not to soft like many of the restored older trucks. Nice enough to appreciate but not too nice to use as a truck. Call 941-928-2339 www.americanclassiccarsales.com we buy, sell, trade, consign, arrang financing and shipping world wide! THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A NICELY RESTORED, RARE TRUCK. 1965 CHEVROLET C20 PICKUP. FLEETSIDE, 3/4 TON, LONG BED, 127” WHEELBASE. EXTENSIVE RESTORATION WAS DONE SEVERAL YEARS AGO AT A COST OF APPROXIMATELY $20,000. THE TRUCK HAS JUST BEEN GIVEN SOME MINOR FRESHENING, BOTH COSMETIC AND MECHANICAL. LOOKS GREAT, DEPENDABLE ENOUGH TO DRIVE ANYWHERE, IN ANY CONDITIONS. VINTAGE TRUCKS ARE THE HOTTEST PROPERTY ON THE MARKET CURRENTLY. THIS TRUCK IS PRICED WELL BELOW ANY OTHER TRUCK IN THIS CONDITION ON THE INTERNET. PRICED TO SELL TO A LUCKY NEW OWNER. PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE AD, AND VIEW ALL THE PHOTOS AND LINKS. ALL NEW PARTS AND RESTORATION WORK IS DOCUMENTED IN THE AD, RIGHT DOWN TO NEW BODY BUSHINGS. DON’T HESITATE ON THIS ONE, IT WON’T LAST. The style for the 1965 and 1966 remained essentially the same, with a few minor changes. There was no need to make drastic changes. The success of the truck line, built since 1913, was verified by the sale of the ten millionth truck in 1966. 1960-1966 represents the first generation of the modern C series Chevrolet trucks. The generation is viewed by collectors as the iconic truck, incorporating revolutionary mechanical and comfort designs. Most important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a truck. Chevrolet transitioned the pick up truck from essentially a farm and work truck, to a vehicle capable of every day use. This concept lives on today, and recreational trucks far outnumber work trucks. Chevrolet can be credited with this revolution. The fourth and final generation of the C/K line was the 1988-2002 platform. The aging C/K line was replaced with the Silverado series. Chevrolet has continued over the years to be in the forefront of style and passenger comfort. It all began with the first generation C/K series. We have priced this high driver quality example at a price anyone can afford. This could be the best deal out there. Don’t pass this opportunity up. We specialize in the unique and rare, future investment affordable collector vehicles at old school prices. Since 1978 we have been a leader in finding rare and desirable cars. Most of our finds have done extremely well for our customers in terms of investments and enjoyment. Here is an example of a rare 1 of LS6 Chevelle we sold for 50k in the early 2000’s. http://www.classicmusclecars.com/cgi-bin/swrm/det.cgi?id=131&bl=m-;;k-;;nhs-195;;status-Sold;;sb- It was recently on eBay for 129k and has apparently sold. We sold this car in 1999, we found it, researched it, documented it, restored it. Recently in the collection of internationally known collector Ron Pratte. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1970-CHEVROLET-CHEVELLE-SS-396-CONVERTIBLE-178646 Another example, we brokered the only 1968 Camaro Z-28 Convertible in July 1993 for 165K, it sold in 2002 for over 7 figures. These are just a couple of examples of the thousands of cars we have sold, and many were super investments. We know the rare muscle car market like no one on the planet. This 1966 C20 is a rare Vintage Classic Truck that fits into this category of an investment and enjoyment vehicle. It is a blue chip investment quality classic. THE PERFECT TRUCK TO TAKE TO THE SHOWS ON THE WEEKEND, AND ACTUALLY USE LIKE A TRUCK WHENEVER YOU WANT TO! CALL ME AT 941-286-0889 WITH QUESTIONS. THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DETAILED!!! IT HAS BEEN WASHED, VACUUMED, AND WIPED DOWN WITH TURTLE WAX QUICK SHINE PRIOR TO BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DETAIL AT HOME! OVERVIEW Admit, you love trucks as much as everyone else does! I am not ashamed to say I am a TRUCK NUT, and I have sold more pickups over the years than I can even remember. Some of my favorite trucks are the clean, stick looking machines that you can get in and drive just like it was the 60’s all over again. These trucks let you enjoy your investment a whole lot more than staring at a Trailer Queen because you can’t take it out for fear of rain. This truck is the perfect combination of clean looks, classic style, and dialed-in performance that makes it reliable and ready for that long road trip, or short hop into town. Please take a moment to read the detailed listing, look over the 100 extra-large detailed photos, and then call me to make it yours before someone else does it first! THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN AND CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN OUR POSSESSION, AND IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT VEHICLE. FOR VEHICLE FINANCING, APPLY ONLINE AT: WWW.JJBEST.COM WWW.LIGHTSTREAM.COM DESCRIPTION If you have vacationed on the beautiful islands of Sanibel and Captiva, FL over the past 5 years, you have probably seen this gorgeous 1965 C10 pickup on more than a few occasions! The prior owner used it almost daily to run around the two island communities, as well putting it into service for parades and special events. This truck is the PERFECT blend of reliability, old school cool, performance, and head turning good looks, and it is ready to go wherever you want to drive it. The body on the truck is SUPER solid and straight, as you can see from the 100 large photos showing the door jambs, undersides of fenders and doors, rockers, cab corners and everything else. There is NO sign of rust, rot, bondo panels, chicken wire, or crushed up cans on the truck, just all REAL STEEL from front to back. Gaps and fit and finish are all well above average, and certainly better than factory stock! Doors close properly, tail gate functions as it should, and the hood is adjusted to line up perfectly without any lift or gap anywhere. The glass on the truck is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or damage evident. Seals and rubber trim all look very good, and even the vent windows function like they should. There are some very minor little normal use blemishes on the truck, and I have highlighted them in the photos below next to a tape measure to show you how small they are. Tiny scuffs, stone chips, and light paint runs under the rockers that you can’t see unless the truck is on a lift are what I am talking about. There are NO large dents, dings, or damaged areas on the truck. The finish is rich Brandywine Metallic GM paint, and it looks really nice on the truck! Glossy, slick, and wet all the way around, with just a hint of sparkle in under the noon day sun! Other than the aforementioned minor blemishes, it shows really well, and is clean and straight too. Cab corners, rockers, fender rolls, rain gutter, door edges, and more are all clean, straight, and show no signs of rot and rust. Front and rear bumpers are in fantastic condition, and gleam brightly in the sun. Mirrors look good, as do the eyebrow light surrounds, tail light surrounds, side trim, antenna, wiper arms, tail gate chains, emblems, and badging. You may see light patina and signs of use, but they are fully serviceable. Door handles show light to medium wear and patina, as do the trim panels on the sides of the cab. The front grill looks great, but is starting to show patina and oxidation mainly on the bottom segment of it. If you are going to drive and enjoy the truck, I doubt these items would bother you, but if you want to take up to a full show truck level, you’ll want to address them eventually. The truck rides on 6-lug chrome wagon wheel style rims that look great from a distance, but do have oxidation and wear on the inner lip corner. Again, if you are going to keep driving and enjoying this truck it probably won’t matter, but to make it a show winner you’ll want to grab new wheels. Since wheels are such a personal thing, I thought it best to leave these on and let you pick your own. That being said, the rims are not bent, damaged, or anything else, and they are wrapped in GODODYEAR Workhorse Radial tires size LT235/75R15 rubber that has a good amount of safe tread remaining. Glass on the truck is crack, chip, and damage free, and doesn’t show any laminate issues either. All of the rubber trim, seals, and stripping looks really good too. The wood side rails go in the factory stake pockets and can be removed or installed by one person. The Sanibel Island lettering can be sanded off if you want to put something more personal on it. All the wood is in good condition, as is the hardware. Tail gate is rust and rot free, and opens and closes like it should. The tail gate chains do double duty keeping the gate shut when it is up, and holding it flat when it is down. Bed sides and wheel tubs are in great condition, with only normal marks from the truck actually being used as, well, a truck. No damage or disrepair to be found. The prior owner installed 3 large panels of weather treated wood, and used all the original hardware mounting points, to create a cleaner, easier to use bed that you can slide things in and out of easier than the narrower bands and aluminum strips. It is highly functional, looks great, and is super sturdy too. The exhaust tip peeking out of the driver side rear end is oxidized and pitted. I am including another new tip for you to install when you get the truck home. Overall, the outside the truck is clean enough that you can call it a show truck, take it any local or regional event, and probably even win a prize for something. Any little blemishes or items mentioned above are really inconsequential to the overall appearance of the truck. Pop open the hood and you are greeted by what is believed to be the original GM 292 inline straight 6 engine. The block numbers show it to be correct era and time. The engine runs so nice it will make you think it is 1965 all over again! The prior owner relied on this truck as a daily use vehicle on the islands, so it has been carefully maintained to be as reliable as it was when new. The engine has already had new gaskets, valve seals, most of the hoses, plugs, and more done in the last 8-10 months, and when we had the truck serviced and safety checked, they couldn’t find a thing that it needed. Engine bay is clean and presentable, and everything works like it should underneath the hood. Radiator is an OEM replacement unit less than a year old, and keeps the temps cool even in our hot Florida weather. Factory heat and defrost settings appear to work like they should, without issue. Not a lot of chrome or billet in this machine, just a nice looking breather. Everything else is more about functionality than good looks. When you get the truck home and take the time to degrease, detail, and clean the engine bay, it will look even nicer than it already does. Chassis on the truck is stock, clean, and solid. There is no sign of any rust, rot, or damage underneath, and the bare frame and pans are NOT covered in black spray on goop or anything else to hide stuff. You can see from the photos that only light oxidation resides on the bare metal, and that comes right off with a whisk of a wire brush. The rest of it is dirt and grime from being driven, but basically it is just a clean, straight, and well-kept chassis from front to back. Coil springs all the way around give the truck a nice smooth ride, without being to cushy. Cab and bed mounts are dirty, but appear functional and fine. Stock rear end gets power from the 292 via the original 2-speed powerglide transmission, which shifts great, and makes driving the truck a blast! Shift it into gear, and the truck is ready to roll! It gets up to speed pretty quick, and will hang with 70mph traffic all day long if you want it to! Driving it, I noticed that the speed was slow, so we checked it with GPS Navigation and found that the speedometer is 8 mph slower than reality, so 62 on the speedo is actually 70 in real life. Keep that mind when you’re out cruising! The truck handles great, steers great, and really truly is a capable daily driver that feels as solid as it must have in 1965! I have personally driven the truck about 120 miles, and it is a BLAST! It is fun to pass people on the freeway in an old truck , and it is nice to hear all the requests to take a picture of it anytime you stop. Opening up the doors reveals a stock style interior that is clean, and ready for you and your passengers. Door panels have OEM style arm rests, door pulls, and windows rollers, and look great! Dash is clean, straight, and painted to match, with a functional instrument panel showing TEMP, DC, FUEL, and OIL PRESSURE. Underneath that you will find the switchgear for the headlamps, electric wipers, and the functional choke to the left of the column, while the key switch and cigar lighter reside to on the right. Heat and defrost controls work as they should, and the ashtray opens and closes like it should along with the glove box. Factory radio is in the truck, but stopped working about 3 years ago. I do not know why. The prior owner installed a newer AM/FM Cassette player in a custom enclosure under the dash, and it sounds great through the modern kick panel mounted speakers. The bench seat has been fully recovered and sprung in the past 2 years, and it is comfortable, clean, and looks amazing! Dual visors and rear view mirror look great, as does the dome light. Steering column is painted to match, and topped with an original wheel in very good condition. Signals work, as does the PRNDL selector on top of it. Carpet is new from just a few years ago, and still looks fantastic in the truck. It was installed over a layer of insulating and heat proofing material. Gas and brake pedals are clean and utilitarian in style, and the E-Brake appears to function as it should as well. The whole interior is just a really clean and nice place to command this machine from, and will make your passengers happy too! That about sums it up! If you have any other questions, want additional photos, or need more info, just CALL ME at (941)286-0889 and I will try and help. If you want a clean and solid pickup that you can drive whenever and wherever you want, but still take to car shows with pride, this is probably the truck for you. In the area? Come see it. If not, fly down here for a personal showing! I am willing to bet that the first person who comes here to see it in person will buy it. The title is in the dealerships name, and this is NOT a consignment car. IT IS TITLED AS A 1965 Chevrolet PU MILEAGE IS EXEMPT DUE TO MODEL YEAR. 1967 Chevy C20 3/4-TonNew Engine and New Transmission with Less than 100 miles So here's the story. Whether you need a reliable tow vehicle, or just something fun for daily driving, there’s other aspects of this satin charcoal grey and black ¾-ton 1967 Chevrolet C20 (VIN #CE247Z137028) that will blow your socks off. As I mentioned, it sports a brand new 350 cubic-inch, 375 horsepower small-block engine and a new TH-350 transmission with a new shift kit for optimum drivability. Best of all, this ‘67 features the desirable Posi-Traction rear end for maximum performance and it is a California-built truck from the Chevrolet plant in Fremont. You get the best of all worlds. Beautifully restored classic look with a brand new, powerful engine and transmission. The classic car experts at Family Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California recently went over this classic in great detail. They replaced the carrier bearing and tackled the entire braking system, including replacing the master cylinder, lines, shoes, springs, wheel cylinders. All fluids were also changed. Family also replaced the alternator, all under hood hoses and engine wiring, and installed a new billet HEI distributor with 10.5 wires. Under the hood, the Chevy 350 V8 features a new Edlebrock carburetor (with electric choke) and dress-up kit, new headers and new Flowmaster dual exhaust with a crossover. All engine and transmission mounts are new. The suspension has been lowered three inches up front and two inches in the rear and sports new chrome Incubus 20 x8-inch wheels all around wrapped in fresh Hankook tires. The interior is clean with new black carpeting, and a Grant GT steering wheel. The bench seat is comfortable and firm with in a neutral colored fabric. The steel door panels are in wonderful condition as are all the door and window handles. The body is straight with no dents, scrapes or signs of rust, and the two-tone exterior paint scheme is incredible, even the engine bay paint looks amazing. The bed has a fresh spray-on black liner to prevent metal fatigue from water or equipment. It drives great with ample passing power for those steep grades. Never overheats and rides smoothly. The new transmission allows for smooth shifts between gears. Keep in mind, this truck with this rear window is rare! Chevy only make it in 1967. You will definitely have a special ride when you take home this baby! Here’s a powerful two-wheel drive C20 that needs nothing, except to be driven and enjoyed, especially for those that love the great outdoors with friends and family. About Factory Correct Cars offered by BlueChip Motorcars BlueChip Motorcars periodically offers classic cars that may be listed as Factory Correct, or Numbers Matching. Because there are many opinions about the term(s) used to describe these types of listings, allow us to explain how BlueChip Motorcars comes to that assessment. As you may know, depending on the source, the term “matching numbers, or factory correct,” may mean many things to many people. Purists might define it as a car with every possible window crank, dash knob or even every nut and bolt is original to the car from the time it left the production line. Although some classic cars do exist in that rare condition, most do not. The majority of classic cars on the market were at some point in their ownership, restored or repaired with NOS parts (new old stock) or licensed reproduction parts. Whenever the information is available to us about the use of these parts, BlueChip Motorcars will gladly pass it along to the potential buyer. BlueChip Motorcars uses the term Factory Correct or Numbers Matching only to distinguish a vehicle where the engine casting code corresponds with the VIN and Cowl Tag code. If these codes tell the same story about the car in question, BlueChip Motorcars then considers it to be a Factory Correct or Numbers Matching vehicle. However, unless otherwise stated, the transmission, rear end, and transmission may or may not be original to the car. BlueChip Motorcars welcomes all potential buyers to verify all the information with a qualified expert. We would be happy to email you all the numbers that are obtainable on any vehicle where the term Factory Correct or Matching Numbers is used.

A machinist built it for himself, which means it's beautifully finished to a very high standard, yet the affordable price is all out of proportion to the quality. With only 1835 miles on the build, this is one of the very best we've ever seen and the sticker is shockingly reasonable. It surely won't last long. The screaming Millennium Yellow paint makes the vintage Chevy hauler look sporting and accentuates the many interesting curves and shapes in the C20's sheetmetal. Yes, this is a -ton pickup, but the proportions are the same as a half-ton, so it looks cool but can work that much harder. Paint and bodywork are exceptionally nice, particularly for a truck, and someone obviously spent a lot of time and effort making it look right. Many of the moldings and trim pieces were removed, a roll pan was installed out back, and the stake pockets on the bed were filled, all of which give it a very smooth, sleek look. All the bright trim that remains is new, including the grille, front bumper, cab sails, and even the headlights, which are modern high-output units that fit perfectly. You'll note that the bed is filled with beautiful hickory planks and stainless rub strips and the taillights are now LEDs. And while you're admiring the view from behind, just take a moment to note just how seamless the bodywork really is; vehicles don't get this nice by accident. The interior is sumptuous by pickup truck standards and looks so bright and clean that you'll want to change your clothes before you get in. Just about everything is new, including the bright white seat cover, the door panels, and the tilt steering column with billet wheel. Underfoot, you'll get fresh black carpets and plenty of sound-deadening material and the factory instrument panel is replaced by a custom piece with Auto Meter gauges inside. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo powers a set of 200-watt Undercover speakers and an 8-inch subwoofer under the seat and there are LED interior lights throughout the cabin. Just about everything is new, from the seals and weather-stripping to the gas tank behind the seat and it's all just beautifully finished. Did I mention how shocked I am by this truck's affordable price tag? The engine is the original, numbers-matching 283 cubic inch V8, which has been fully rebuilt with a few upgrades to make it fun. There's a mild cam inside, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold and 4-barrel carburetor, both finished in Endurashine so they look awesome, plus a set of Hooker ceramic-coated long-tube headers to help make some torque. A custom powder coated dress-up kit complements the Chevy Orange engine block and braided hoses give it a racy look. Just about everything here is new, too, including the alternator, water pump, fuel pump, radiator, and even the engine mounts. It's backed by a Phoenix 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission whose overdrive gear makes even the 4.57 gears out back seem comfortable on the highway. A custom one-piece drive shaft, KYB shocks, and a 2.5-inch lowering job make it more muscle car than pickup truck, yet it still carries its original 8-lug hubs and doesn't mind carrying a load now and then. Gorgeous 20-inch Pacer wheels fill the fenders and carry 275/45/20 radials, adding just the right look. Incredibly well-finished, totally sorted out, and ready to enjoy, this is the kind of resto-mod pickup we love most. Check out the quality, the features, and the price, and we guarantee you'll take this truck home today. Same great looks, but with a long bed and a stout 350 under the hood, this one doesn't mind a little heavy lifting now and then and still looks great when you take it to the local cruise night. The icy blue paint looks appropriate on the '60s truck, and it was nicely applied a few years ago. Despite the slightly heavier-duty underpinnings, the bodywork doesn't look like it had to do much hard labor or else someone spent a lot of time and effort getting it into shape, because it looks great. The simple lines of these trucks have aged rather well and today they are one of the hottest trucks on the collector market, with great parts availability and modern performance, all under some stylish skin. Good gaps and lots of time block sanding those long, long bed sides means that this one holds up under scrutiny, and unlike many of its contemporaries, it hasn't been customized or altered in any serious way. Nice details abound, including twin chrome mirrors, a great-looking set of bumpers, and a rear window neatly framed with a new rubber gasket. The bed is protected with spray-in bedliner material that looks quite fresh and you'll note that the job was pretty thorough because the bed mounting hardware is still shiny. The beautiful blue cloth interior is a nice upscale change from the usual sticky vinyl bench, and the three-across seating comes via a pair of buckets and a neat flip-up center position that doubles as a console. The big, vintage-looking steering wheel is appropriate for a big hauler like this and the gauges are crisp, clear, and attractive. Auxiliary dials under the center stack monitor things like oil pressure, temperature, and voltage and the stereo is upgraded to an AM/FM/cassette head unit that looks custom made just for this application. Blue covers every interior surface, including a dash pad that's in great condition and a set of custom kick panels with built-in speakers, which is a neat trick. Heavy-duty floor mats protect the carpets and the padded door panels make it feel a lot more comfortable on long highway drives. It's really nicely done. V8 power is a big reason why trucks remain so popular, and the warmed-over 350 cubic inch V8 provides plenty of grunt to make this truck feel sporty. It's not radical, but it's got an upgraded intake and 4-barrel carburetor and a throaty dual exhaust system, so it remains easy to service and a lot of fun. Chevy Orange paint keeps everything looking suitably Chevy under the hood, and with a few chrome dress-up items you won't mind popping the hood now and then. Power brakes plus a heavy-duty TH400 3-speed automatic transmission mean this truck doesn't mind the heavy stuff if you want to head to Home Depot this weekend and the tidy undercarriage suggests a lifetime in a warm climate and not the rust belt. Flashy aluminum wheels look great and suitably beefy on the C20 and carry 265/75/16 Cooper truck tires that fill the fenders perfectly. Nice truck, reasonably priced, and ready to work or play, this Chevy C20 gets all the big stuff right. Don't sit out another summer, take this one home and have some fun. We bought this last year from the second owner (a retired US military officer who had the same type truck when new) who completely restored the truck from a bare frame, nearly all original components were retained, blasted to metal then refinished in original colors & rebuilt, or replaced as required. The engine had been replaced in 1993 with a correct L-48/350, this was freshly rebuilt for this restoration to the original 260HP spec. Stock exhaust manifolds ceramic coated with custom all stainless exhaust on back. Front brakes are disc. Full records and photos of the restoration are present. Various records (titles/transfers, service & repair etc.) back to original owner present. Protect-O-Plate, build sheet, original owners manual, dealer delivery documents all present. There is also a shop service manual, and wiring diagram. The truck looks, feels and runs great. Our restored cars are garage kept and rigorously maintained. This has had regular all season use in the past year amounting to about 4000 miles since restored. Just last week it's been prepped for winter with full service, Bridgestone W965 Blizzak light commercial truck, 10 ply studless ice & snow tires, and a 2x6 brace across the bed at the wheel wells that keeps the 300 lbs of sand over the rear axle and makes nice compartments to prevent things sliding around the bed. The Alpine cd - Bluetooth - iphone / smartphone - satellite - HD stereo, and speakers are mounted on custom brackets which use existing fasteners so no holes were drilled for this installation. Original AM radio also works. As right & ready as the truck is, it doesn't accommodate a child seat too well (and not at all legally), can be a lot to handle in the city, and the boys mother is fed up with me using her car too much. I need to make a change. Open to similar quality trade - up, down or sideways value. Of course a cash sale is welcome too.

YOU ARE DEALING WITH A GOOD COMPANY THAT WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY! Ladies and gentlemen, what you are looking at here is a "REAL" Chevrolet Trailblazer SS - this is not a clone. This is a hard to find vehicle, especially in this sort of condition. It has only 91K miles - that's an average of only about 9K miles a year, well below the industry average of 15K miles a year. The CARFAX shows no accidents ever! It does look like it may have been repainted at some point. We see this on a lot of cars - sometimes owners get their cars repainted in order to keep their cars "looking good" as sunshine tends to oxidize paint over the years. As indicated by the images, the paint is nice and shiny on this vehicle. It is in great shape mechanically - we discovered no notable issues at all. We did not see any significant imperfections on the body. It appears to be in well above average condition for its age. This is an exceptionally powerful all-wheel drive sport utility vehicle. The powerful 6.0L V8 is truly a beast! It has gorgeous black leather seats with suede inserts, MP3/CD player, premium sound, OnStar, power sliding sunroof, ice cold air condition with dual zones, rear air condition with separate controls, cruise control, power windows/mirrors/locks, dual power operated seats with lumbar support, towing package, premium 20" factory upgraded wheels and much more! ONCE THE BILL OF LADING IS SIGNED OFF, YOU CANNOT MAKE A CLAIM FOR ANY IN-TRANSIT DAMAGES. THE LIKELIHOOD OF YOUR VEHICLE BEING NOTABLY DAMAGED OR LOST DURING TRANSIT IS PRETTY SLIM - AND NONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS THUS FAR HAVE HAD TO CLAIM ANYTHING WITH A TRANSPORTER'S INSURANCE COMPANY BUT JUST FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT TRANSPORTERS ARE INSURED IN THE EVENT SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS. THE BUYER WILL NOT PAY ANY EXTRA "HIDDEN" FEES ON TOP OF THE PRICE OF THE CAR. ALL YOU PAY IS THE PRICE OF THE CAR PLUS TAX, TAG AND TITLE. THERE ARE MANY INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COMPANIES OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP YOU (JUST GOOGLE THEM). OUT OF STATE BUYERS ARE GIVEN POSSESSION OF VEHICLE TITLE SO THAT THEY CAN GO TO THEIR LOCAL DMV AND GET THEIR NEWLY PURCHASED CAR REGISTERED ON THEIR OWN. WE MAIL THE TITLE OUT TO THE BUYER WITHIN 3-4 WEEKS AFTER THE VEHICLE IS PICKED UP. ALTHOUGH IN MOST CASES, THE TITLE IS MAILED OUT MUCH EARLIER, TITLE DELAYS CAN ALSO OCCUR DUE TO CLERICAL MISTAKES OR OTHER FACTORS BEYOND OUR MEANS. WE HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY OF OUR BUYERS WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING THEM THE TITLE BUT IF YOU'RE IN ANY SORT OF RUSH TO GET THE TITLE AS SOON AS THE CAR IS PURCHASED, THEN YOU MUST CONTACT US TO CONFIRM THE TITLE IS READY TO BE MAILED. IF IT IS NOT YET READY TO MAIL, WE CANNOT PROMISE GETTING IT TO YOU IMMEDIATELY. IT IS UP TO YOU, THE BUYER, TO MAKE SURE YOU ASK IF THE TITLE IS IN OUR HAND BEFORE PURCHASING A CAR IF YOU ARE IN ANY SORT OF RUSH TO GET THE VEHICLE TITLED. NO "CONCESSIONS" OR "DISCOUNTS" WILL BE APPLIED TO ANY SALE FOR TITLE DELAYS. IN THE RARE EVENT THAT THERE IS A TITLE DELAY FOR ANY REASON, YOU (THE BUYER) MUST WAIT TO RECEIVE THE TITLE. WE TRULY MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO PRESENT ACCURATE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE VEHICLES THAT WE SELL. ANY VEHICLE TEN YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER IS AUTOMATICALLY EXEMPT FROM MILEAGE REPORTING - IF THIS APPLIES TO THE VEHICLE THAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE TITLE WILL BE REPORTED AS "MILEAGE EXEMPT" AS PER FLORIDA LAW. MILEAGE MAY INCREASE DUE TO BRANCH TO BRANCH TRANSPORTATION, TEST DRIVES AND/OR OTHER MISCELLANEOUS USAGE. PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW EXACT CURRENT MILEAGE. WE DISCLOSE EVERY NOTEWORTHY BLEMISH/FLAW THAT WE KNOW OF. HOWEVER, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WE ARE ONLY HUMAN AND MAY MISS SOME THINGS. NOT ONLY ARE WE KNOWN FOR OUR PRICING, BUT WE ARE ALSO KNOWN FOR THE HIGH QUALITY OF OUR VEHICLES. "NO NONSENSE HIGH PERFORMANCE" Dragon Motor Cars has been competing with their quality light-weight High Performance original design sports cars since 2001. The Series II Dragon Roadster uses race-proven stock Corvette C4 aluminum suspension components in a dedicated race quality space frame chassis with a vintage-styled original fiberglass body and small block engine. The result is stunning in appeal and proved its world class performance on the track with Class Wins each year raced at Run & Gun. Offered For Sale by the California Automobile Museum The Dragon Motor Cars Prototype Series II Roadster. In the words of the builders, this Dragon is "No Nonsense High Performance". This Dragon is powered by a 1996/1997 General Motors LT-1 series V8 coupled to a 4L60E 4 Speed Automatic transmission. The mechanical configuration is still generally as originally installed. The Dragon rides on adjustable coil over shocks in all four corners, steering and handling as well as the suspension for the front end was provided by a C-4 Corvette donor. Out back you'll find a solid 10 bolt G.M. axle mounted in a 4 link configuration and a modified drive line connecting it all together. Manual dual circuit 4 wheel disc brakes with dual piston calipers up front and single pistons in the rear provide ample stopping power and the American Racing Torque Thrust rims wrapped in Toyo Proxes 4 275/40 ZR17 tires transfer your desires to go or stop to the ground. Additionally, for added performance and longevity, the braking circuits are plumbed with steel braided brake lines. The LT-1 engine has been dressed up with some tasteful additions including true dual exhaust with custom exhaust headers and functional side pipes. (a modification completed by the original fabricators of the Dragon) A chrome alternator has been installed and Corvette covers atop the intake. Cooling is efficiently handled by an electric pilot controlled fan fastened to an aluminum Griffin radiator. The large air inlet in the front allows the Series II to cool much better than its predecessor. Electrically, the Dragon utilizes the factory designed system for the LT-1 engine and power is supplied by a newer Die Hard series battery. At 2200 pounds or so, this High Performance vehicle is pure business. There are no frills, no amenities, and no creature comforts. Mechanical and vitals are monitored by 6 gauges including Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, Battery and Charging System Voltage, Fuel Level, Tachometer, and a Speedometer. Turn signals, Headlights, Electric Fans, Windshield Wipers, Horn, and High/Low Beam Headlight operations are controlled by neatly installed toggle switches in easy reach of the pilot. You won't find a need for a stereo in this machine. The sound of the engine and finely tuned exhaust provide all the listening pleasure you will ever need. Operating this machine is no major issue. There is plenty of leg room in the cockpit for even the tallest of drivers. The side profile of the car is low and very easy to enter even considering one has to step over the side into the pilots seat. Once comfortably seated, the pilot has the protection of a full body width roll bar, chrome fire extinguisher, and RJS Racing 5 point harnesses to protect against nearly any unfortunate event that may arise. Operation of this ferocious Dragon is handled by the Radio Controlled Paddle shift and the GT Grant removable steering wheel. As with any vehicle used over a period of 8 plus years, no matter how meticulously cared for, one will find a few minor blemishes. This Dragon is no exception. On the exterior, the recently modified paint (original paint scheme reversed from red with black accents to its current configuration) has a small bubble on the right rear section of the trunk lid just in front of the integrated spoiler and some very minor road rash on the chin up front. Some swirls are also present but should be easily removed with a high quality detail. The *Leather* interior is in very good condition with no tears, rips, or other signs of wear other than some discoloration on the pilot's seat from where one would place their foot while stepping in to the car. For the most part, the overall function of this Dragon is as it should be. The steering and suspension are tight, responsive, and trouble free. Acceleration, shifting, and stopping are all breath taking, and the car is not only exciting, but a head turner no matter where you are. A few things worth mentioning that the perspective buyer would like to know are as follows; there is evidence of oil seepage at the front timing cover seal, the odometer, the horn, windshield wiper, and fog lights do not currently work, and the pilot's side rear view mirror lense is missing. Overall, this Dragon is impressive and would make a fantastic addition to nearly any collection, be it American, European, or just a collection of visually pleasing automobiles. The appearance of this Dragon even somewhat resembles the appearance of the Lister Knobbly. This Dragon is street legal with fully functional lighting and operational turn and brake lights. For California residents, it is titled as a 1966 Chevrolet so smog inspections are of no worry. This opportunity may not present itself again. This Dragon is the Prototype. Number 1!!!!!!
