It appears to have its original paint. It even still has its original exhaust. The GM part # is still on the rear resonator. Up for sale is a 1994 Chevy Caprice Station wagon retro fitted to resemble a mixture of the Ghostbusters Car.The car has a V8 motor with a automatic transmission, approximate millage is around 160,000. The Odometer has a electrical issue and fluctuates between numbers the whole time, The owner before me has estimated the millage around 155,000. With all the events the car has been to over the summer I estimated the millage around 165,000. The car runs well and has an extra fan installed for auxiliary cooling for parades and sitting for a long time. I have had this car running for over four hours with the lights on and it never touches the battery, its amazing. The auxiliary cooling is controlled by an extra toggle switch installed through the dash board. The cars interior is in fair condition and could use a strong cleaning and car seat covers. Windows, mirrors, and seat controls are all electric. A knob for the heat is missing but the other one slips right of to temporarily use. The car runs great and has plenty acceleration and shifts perfect. The front light bar, the little middle amber light bar and the real light bar are the only ones that are currently hooked up. The other lights still need to be tested and hooked up to a alternate power source or a larger alternator needs to be installed or a second battery. The main roof rack is custom welded using 1" sq tubing, and is attached to the car straight bolted with quarter inch bolts. The decals are professionally printed and installed. The message boards on the side are non-functioning and can get custom decals printed to say whatever you what. Most of the replica equipment on the roof is made of various materials such as plastic, fiberglass, wood, and metal. The "roof top equipment" is non functioning and for looks only. The car comes with a blue tooth speaker to put on the roof when parked to play music and the siren. This car has been rented out the whole month of October and has also been rented by movie theaters and other venues. Car is a real eye catcher and a fun way to make extra income. Businesses have rented it out for parades. The car has been well maintained and ready to drive. Rear doors can swing open only can not be used as traditional tail gate mode cause the latch for that is broken. The wires ran through the car are loomed up to the passenger seat, The wires still need to be neatly loomed and tucked away. They are currently laying on the passenger side floor. The boxes that control the light bars could also use a console built around them. These are all things I planned on doing to finish off the car just ran out of allotted time on the project. For sale is my ’94 Caprice wagon, done up in Impala SS livery. It’s got a bunch of upgrades under the hood, in the interior, and the exterior. It’s a rust-free car that spent most of its life being driven by a little old lady in Georgia before being rescued from such a mundane life. It currently has 128,xxx miles on it but it runs and drives like it has half that many. Engine Performance UpgradesIt’s got an LT4 intake, LT4 aluminum heads, a Lunati cam with matching valve springs, 1.6:1 roller rockers, headers and Flowmaster exhaust, managed with a PCM4Less tune. The previous owner estimated 425 HP at the flywheel, and seat of the pants, it feels like a solid 340-350 RWHP. Time slips from the previous owner show 13.1s at 10x mph. Transmission UpgradesSitting between the engine and the transmission is a 3000 RPM stall lockup converter. The 4L60E has a shift kit and has been tuned to shift firmly (but not harshly) at ~6000 RPM under WOT. Out back are 4.10 gears. You might think that 4.10s are too aggressive—they’re not. Cruising at 80mph, the engine is around 2700 RPM. Suspension UpgradesStock springs are at all four corners, as are Bilstein shocks. Bilsteins are fantastic—more comfortable than stock, but more controlled too. Air springs are installed inside the rear springs so you can firm up the back end when carrying a heavy load. Tubular lower control arms attached the rear axle the frame. They’ve got bosses for a rear sway bar to be installed but, to be honest, I never felt like the car needed it—at already goes around corners way better than something its size has a right to.Wheels are Boss 338 20x8.5s with General Gmax AS03 tires. These tires are grippy enough to leave the line hard, stick in the corners, and won’t leave you skating in the rain. (I've used the Gmaxes on other cars and they do well in the snow, but this car has never been driven in it.)All of the wearable items in the front suspension have been replaced with ProForged parts—ball joints, tie rods and the idler arm. The power steering box is a 12.7:1 unit that has been rebuilt by Lee Manufacturing. Interior UpgradesThe front seats have been replaced by buckets out of.. a ‘90s era Pontiac, if memory serves. The seats are power controlled, just like stock, and have been wired up so that the door-mounted electric seat controls actually work. (No half-baked seat conversion here.) The middle bench has been upgraded to match the front seats. (The third row seat is stock.)The column shifter has been upgraded to a center floor mounted shifter, I believe out of an Oldsmobile Bravada.The gauge cluster has been replaced with one from a ‘90s Fbody, so you get a full slew of functional gauges. The oil pressure gauge wiring has been modified so that the gauge shows actual oil pressure. (Stock, the oil pressure gauge is basically a dummy switch—it displays about ¾ of the way up all the time, which is pretty much useless.)The stereo is a mid-range Sony Bluetooth unit. Since pretty much nobody uses CDs any more, this one just has a front USB input and an enclosure inside where you could put an iPod or a USB stick. The speakers in the doors have been upgraded, and there are a set of tweeters at ear level—this stereo sounds much better than stock. Exterior UpgradesThe paint job is the stereotypical Impala SS black cherry. It's got SS logos embossed on the rear flanks. The hood is an aftermarket fiberglass unit with a small cowl induction.The No-So-GoodSo, what’s wrong with it? Aesthetically, there are a few flaws, none of which are major. There are two light scratches on the passenger side front fender. The black cherry paint needs to be touched up in a few spots on the roof rack and around a couple door handles. The window tint has a few flaws. The roll pan (rear bumper) has several cracks in it. The tailgate only swings out—the cable that hooks up the handle which makes the tailgate swing down is broken. (I have a replacement cable but have not installed it.)The main issue is with the engine itself. It has very low compression on cylinder #1, which results in excessive blowby. (#1 tested at around 60 dry and only went up to 70 when wet; 2-8 were in the 170-200 range.) I’ve replaced the oil fill cap with a breather to allow the gasses to escape as the PCV system can’t keep up. The odd thing is that the car runs great—if I wasn’t up front about this issue, you’d never know by driving the car. My asking price reflects that the new owner will likely need to spend some money to resolve this issue.I have a huge stack of receipts from the previous owner detailing all of the exact parts that he used (he was the one who did most of the work) and I have supplemented it with receipts from the work and modifications I’ve done to it.

First, it's a big old ragtop, and nothing says you've arrived like a '70s convertible. Then there's the smooth 350 cubic inch V8, a ton of power options, and a great triple-white color combination. Yeah, this sucker was built to cruise. White-on-white-on-white is a fantastic color combination for a big ragtop, and few wear it better than a mid-70s GM ragtop. Our photos don't show it off like the sunlight does, but you can clearly see that the bodywork is straight and clean, and as a product of the '70s, finding a rust-free example is paramount. We believe that the paint is original, and with that in mind it's in fantastic shape. Sure, there are a few nicks and scratches, but for an untouched survivor, it's in very good overall condition. Chevrolet didn't get hung up with excessive trim but it does wear fender skirts so it has a clean, chiseled look that makes it seem almost sporty, which was surely the intention. Chevrolet's simple grille is present in a token way up front but it's not terribly distinctive, and that long hood almost has its own horizon when viewed from the driver's seat. Nice chrome bumpers, sport mirrors, and full-width taillights add interest, and all the original badges are still in place so there's no mistaking this car for anything else. Chevrolet nailed it with the interior, which features wide bench seats that are the ultimate in '70s cool. With room for six, this full-size cruiser doesn't skimp on luxury and delivers that unbeatable combination of cushy ride and vast interior space that makes it the ultimate road trip ride. Wood paneling on the dash is fairly convincing, and the layout gives the driver fingertip access to things like the A/C and original radio, while a newer AM/FM/CD stereo head unit is mounted under the dash. Other options include power windows and locks and a tilt steering column, all of which make this car a top-of-the-line piece from GM's bread-and-butter division. Handsome blue carpets and matching dash board add some welcome contrast, and the white seats are much cooler on a sunny day than a darker color. The white convertible top is in excellent condition and includes a glass rear window and the big trunk is ready for your next road trip with a full-sized spare and tidy original mats. Chevy's 350 cubic inch V8 really needs no introduction. Renowned for its torque production, it gives the Caprice Classic an effortless style that eats up the miles without breaking a sweat and pulls the luxurious convertible around with a great V8 soundtrack. In good original condition with bright Chevy Orange engine enamel and a lot of correct components, the engine bay offers additional evidence that this car has led a good life and has had a good amount of money invested in it recently. It's backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic, and on a car this big, power steering and brakes were, of course, standard equipment. The unparalleled ride quality is something that needs to be experienced to be believed, and it soaks up bumps like an ocean liner. It's quite clean underneath and still uses what appears to be the original catalytic converter. Classic Rally wheels are fitted with 235/75/15 Toyo whitewalls, which look exactly right. We'll never see full-sized luxury cars like this, and certainly not convertibles. With tons of originality, personality, and luxury, this Chevy is still a first-class way to travel. I don't even know where to begin to describe this amazingly pimped out 5.7 liter V8 Chevrolet Caprice. A labour of complete passion and love, some $75,000 was spent on this car to bring it to the way it is today. Starting life as a standard Caprice Classic its was given the full yellow theme. Fully loaded with stereo, video screens and gaming. Totally themed in Lamborghini yellow with a complete repaint, fully customised interior in yellow with fibreglass moulded dash and centre consoles. Even the windows are tinted in yellow. Custom aluminum steering wheel with hi-tech instruments and gauges. Nothing was spared in the customisation of this Caprice. Sitting on 24" Asanti colour matched wheels, this is the ultimate gangster ride. The stereo could blow out windows as you drive by whilst the car itself gets up and goes so fast, you wont have to pay for the broken glass! This car was traded in to us and I know little about these customised cars other than to say the project was clearly undertaken without sparing any expense and what you see is simply an amazing example of a "no holds barred" customisation. According to the previous owner, the car was featured in various magazines and brochures as well as taking out various show car awards. We thoroughly check them and replace things that are identified faulty. But please understand, by example; if we change a brake line because it appears aged or faulty, we do NOT at the same time replace all other hoses because they are of similar age. This is considered "preventative maintenance". We do not do this unless specifically requested and is not included in the purchase price. Feel free to ask for this additional service. Further, a feature or function that is working perfectly one moment, may decide to play-up the next. After all, it is some 17 years old. This is the nature of any used car and especially British cars. Whereas I am happy to store the car in excess of 30 days from auction end, a cost of $35 per day shall apply beyond 30 days of auction end. Also, you must remember that this is a 19 year old vehicle, and while it is up to you, I do not recommend that you just “hop in and drive it across the country” until you have familiarised yourself with the car. At least, I have never done that. I have always professionally transported the cars in enclosed carriers from where I bought them to my home. It's the practical family classic cruiser that's muscle car ready when no one is looking. Chevy fans know this is something very special. 1966 was the first year for the Caprice coupe. The name was introduced as the top option package for the Impala sedan the previous year, but then it was given its own unique styling as the new king of the full-size Chevys. The roofline is unique to the Caprice, and it looks quite regal. Then again, everything is going to look good on a car this straight. This coupe's maroon metal-flake color is close to its original shade of Aztec Bronze, except this looks nicer in modern times, and a black vinyl top is exactly what you want on a 1960s luxury machine. Being the top-level Chevrolet also meant not skipping out on chrome anywhere. Caprices added brightwork over the Impala up front, and there is no missing those cool taillamps with wraparound bright ribbing. But, as obvious as the luxury is on this Caprice, the callouts on the fenders and SS rally wheels let everyone know that this coupe is meant for more than just cruising. This dual luxury and performance attitude continues on the loaded interior. The maroon bucket seats are padded for comfort, and there are even provisions for air conditioning. It's got power windows, a steering wheel that tilts, and telescopes to exactly where you want it (another rare option). But there is no mistaking some features on this Caprice. It has the sporty center console with floor-mounted shift, and in front of that the full quad gauge setup yup these weren't just for Camaros. But the feature that might just be the coolest is the factory optional AM/FM radio that's still ready for your 8-track cartridges. Big luxury needs a big motor, and those 396 badges on the fender didn't lie. Even better is that beneath the Holley air cleaner and Edelbrock performance intake is this car's original numbers-matching L35 big block. It was advertised 325 hp back when new, and so the improvements are really taking this high into serious muscle car territory.
