Up for your consideration is a 70 Chevelle that was taken apart several years ago. Previous owner has installed new floor pans, partial quarters, trunk pan, trunk drop offs, inner and outer wheel wells and the fenders are aftermarket. (note he sanded them and now they have a light layer of surface rust) The body is back on the frame with new body bushings. Also installed was a new fuel line. The car has new airshocks in the back. It has tubular upper and lower bars installed to the original 10 bolt. Not installed is Heidt's upper and lower front control arms. Also a set of new Baer duel piston brakes with slotted rotors and 2" drop spindles. The engine is a 350 with a 350 trans. 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle PRO STREET Pat Musi 555 Professionally Built This amazing hot rod is top notch no money spared street driven big tire car that would cost over 100k to have built. Started life as a Heavy Chevy and has been professionally built top to bottom. The paint is top notch and the underside of this car is better than the top of most show cars. The color is a metallic red/maroon that is best seen in the pictures of the underside. The frame, trans, motor, carb, and other pieces are painted same as exterior. All engine compartment sheet metal is powder coated black. Every single part (bumper to bumper) on this car was new when constructed and there is nothing that is dull or old anywhere to be found. There are “foiled” ghost SS stripes that are as smooth as glass on the hood and deck lid. I cannot get a good pic that shows them but they are there. S&W back halved with coil overs and a Ford 9 inch with strange axles and center section. 32 x 17.5 Tires that fit perfect on polished Centerlines. Wilwood discs at all four corners with braided lines throughout. Digital 6 plus MSD ignition. Flaming river steering box with tubular control arms. Trans brake in the Turbo 400. Completely coated custom jet hot coated 3” BORLA exhaust. Barry grant fuel system. The car has a nitrous system that I have never used. Way more and too much to list here. Runs on race gas but is driven on the street with ease and I have never fouled plugs once or have ever had a problem starting. This missile drives smooth and straight. Never runs hot and is very controllable until you mash the pedal. The engine was built by Pat Musi and was freshened up by Mr. Musi before I bought this car 3 years ago and has not been sprayed once. There is less than 200 miles on the freshened motor. The 555 makes 850 hp without nitrous and this car will run 9.50s at the track. The cage is an 8.50 cert. The block and heads are Dart and there is no expense spared inside. This motor cost 25K to build. Jesel drive train and a Jesel belt drive are present with a vacuum pump to ensure not a single leak anywhere. Both rear quarter panels, both doors, both front fenders, trunk lid, trunk pan, rear shock towers, floor pans and the rocker panels are all original & rust free the hood has ben changed to a nice aftermarket cowl hood for the look. I doubt if you will find a Rust Free 1972 Chevelle body any nicer, straighter or cleaner than this! The paint is as smooth as glass & looks fantastic. Paint is in excellent show quality or driver condition. It is straight from top to bottom & all the way around with no dents, no waves & no ripples anywhere! Floor pan & trunk pan are original and have never been patched, cut or covered up with under coating. All of the body panels align up great. It has a Professional, all Black-Base coat/ Clear coat Paint job. The hood and doors open & close with ease. The doors do not hang or drag when opened or closed. The inside corners of the dash are clean with no rust. There is no rust on or around any of the windows. The hood & door jams are nice & clean and are painted shiny Black to match the outside of the body. The front & rear bumper's & all of the stainless trim are original and in very nice & very clean condition All of the emblems are clean and in nice condition. All of the window seals, door seals and the trunk and hood seals are in excellent condition. The window felts & window sweeps are in great condition and the glass is clean with no cracks or chips. The door windows roll up & down with ease and they seal up nice & tight. The parking lights, marker lights & tail light lenses are nice & clean and in original condition. The blinkers, the horn and the wipers are all in good condition and are all functioning correctly. The front grills are original and they are in very nice condition with no cracks or breaks. INTERIOR The all Black Interior Looks Great and it is in Very Nice and Very Clean Condition! The seats, dash pad, door panels and the arm rest are all Original and in very nice & clean condition. The vinyl upholstery on the seats is original and it is in great condition with no rips, no tears, no burns. The headliner, the sail panels and the rear shelf panel are all very nice and very clean with no issues. The steering wheel and all of the dash components are original and are in nice and clean condition. Has a complete set of full functioning original GM seat belt's in front & back. ENGINE-TRANSMISSION-SUSPENSION-BRAKES The Engine and the Engine Bay Compartment are both Very Nice & Very Clean and Look Great! Has a very dependable Chevrolet small block V-8 Engine. The engine runs great and it always starts right up.I also have the original numbers matching engine that goes with the car. It has a Automatic 2 speed power glide that shifts very nice & smooth works perfect. It has a Great Running Chevrolet small block V-8 Engine, 4bbl Intake Manifold, Edelbrock 4bbl Carburetor, Cast Iron Exhaust Manifolds, HEI Distributor, Manual brakes with new shoes that stop on a dime. New Spark Plugs, New set of Plug Wires, New 2-Core Aluminum Radiator, 14" Chrome Air Cleaner, New Air Filter and a working set of Gauges nicely mounted under the dash. The oil and the oil filter were just changed. The transmission and all other fluids are clean & full The Dual Exhaust System is in good condition without having any leaks and it has a nice rumble to it. Has a Nice & Clean set of 4-14" Chevrolet Rally Wheels with a set of good driver quality Chevrolet Center Caps . Brand New set of 4-225/70/14 BF GOODRICH T/A Radial Tires with Raised White Letters. Tires are in excellent condition with less than 500 miles on them since being mounted. The front & rear suspension, the bushings and the front & rear shocks are all in good condition.
