Factory sun roof option. Alloy wheels. Very nice original interior. High power factory stereo system sounds great. Part of a large antique Chrysler collection--this vehicle had been parked for nearly 20 years (with typical fuel injection problems). The paint shines good and looks presentable however it is somewhat faded. The body is very straight however there several small dents--noted one in the upper right rear quarter and several along the upper lip of the deck lid. Early 300s sell for well into six-figures, but this 1964 Chrysler 300 offers the same kind of big horsepower luxury without the staggering price tag. The look clearly shares its DNA with the industrial-strength Mopars that were terrorizing drag strips around the country in the early 1960s, and it scales up pretty well. This is a big car, the kind that once roamed the wide-open spaces of America with a hovercraft-like ride and enough horsepower to push it through the air without breaking a sweat. There are signs of Virgil Exner's brilliance in the headlights and front fender sculpting and the soft green paint keeps it from looking too heavy. It was repainted about four years ago, so it looks quite good, even up close, and by using modern paint technology, it'll keep this look for years to come. They weren't quite ready to give up tailfins over at Chrysler, so there are vestigial chrome-tipped ridges on the rear quarters, and the slashing side trim makes the car look about a mile long. Good chrome, particularly the intricate bumpers, shows well against the soft green finish and this is the kind of car that will attract attention everywhere it goes just because few have ever seen one before. Bucket seats and a console were a luxury/muscle tradition from the earliest days, and it's awesome to see it in this full-sized hardtop. Chrysler's styling department nailed the futuristic look with clean cloth and vinyl buckets, lots of stainless trim, and a gorgeous steering wheel with horn rings that seem to float. The instrument panel is big, bold, and easy to read with round gauges arrayed as they would be in a sports car. Push-button heater controls are at your fingertips and the original AM radio is so neatly integrated into the dash that it becomes a styling element all by itself. The entire interior was restored at the same time the body was painted, so the upholstery, carpets, and other soft parts remain in very good condition. It's not heavily optioned, but when your base car looks this good, you really don't need a lot of other equipment to make a driver happy. And for road trips, nothing beats a big car with a big engine and a big trunk, the latter of which is finished with a reproduction mat and a full-sized spare. 383 cubic inches makes for effortless driving and the big block was rebuilt about 12,000 miles ago, so it runs quite well. The engine bay is a combination of restored and original pieces, with a correct air cleaner atop the burly V8. Service access is excellent thanks to the massive engine bay, and with a car this size, power steering and brakes are mandatory. A TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic shifts almost imperceptibly although the new Flowmaster exhaust system with X-pipe will surely provide aural indications that a shift has occurred. Standard hubcaps and 215/75/14 whitewall radials help keep things low-key, but this is really a fantastic long-distance machine. Unique, powerful, and nicely finished, you probably never thought you could get this much sheetmetal for so little cash. If you like to be just a bit out of the ordinary, this Chrysler is a great choice. The Braun power wheelchair ramp and power sliding door work great with no issues. There is a EZ lock in the driver's spot. You can remove the driver's seat and the person in the wheelchair can lock the wheelchair in this position with the EZ lock. This allows the wheelchair person to be able to drive. There are no hand controls in the van. The wheelchair can also be secured in the front passenger location or in the middle using the 4 wheelchair tie downs. The van comes with a key fob remote that operates the handicap sliding door and power ramp. As you can see in the pictures the inside of the van is in excellent shape and the seats look like new. All the power options work as they should. The exterior is also in great shape. The body is straight and the paint has a nice shine to it. We just had the van detailed and serviced. There is a couple of scratches as to be expected and the ground effects on the passenger side sliding door has a small crack in it. I just wanted you to know because it probably doesn't show up in the pictures. The van starts right up and idles nice a smooth. The motor is strong and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts smooth through all the gears. The van drives smooth and straight down the road and also stops in a straight line. The brakes are in great working order. We drove this van 4 hours back to our location at 70mph and it ran great with no issues. All 4 tires are matching and are in great shape and have about 75% life still left in them. 1989 Chrysler Conquest TSI SHP Model. So Mitsubishi only made a limited amount of these perhaps 1000 in 1989, the SHP stood for Sport Handling Package. Bigger wheels, adjustable suspension, sunroof, bigger axles, better transmission, etc. 1989 Chrysler Conquest TSI SHP model. They only made 1000 of the SHP models for year 1989. This is originally an Arizona car with 78k on the body. This has an 18G Mitsubishi turbocharger, short shifter, OVC hard pipe, 83 scooped hood, 3" straight exhaust w/down pipe, bov, sunroof, SHP adjustable shocks, drilled/slotted rotors, SHP polished wheels front 8 rear 9 and the oven-baked tail lights. The motor is a high performance engine installed FEB-2002 with detailed info including 2.6 motor w/ 40 over hyper eutectic 8:5:1 pistons, total seal TSI rings, new crank, rods w/ arp bolts, new oil pump, chains, gears, no balance shafts, fully balanced, marble head, fully ported w/ out jet valves, roller rockers and arp head studs... This motor only has about 300 miles on it since that time. I t has been started regularly. However, it smokes(white/grey)and has always done that. Not sure if it is the valve keepers or the turbo needing a rebuild or the car needing to be driven more... But there are no sounds and the engine has always started. The windshield has a slight crack towards the top and have pics of that. Told it was iffy on passing. The seats are the car's original ones and they probably need a re-do. The original stereo is not powering on and have not looked into why not. The ventilation system works but not the a/c. Probably just needs a recharge. The rest of the interior is very good. This car has only done a few 100 miles in the east and has never stayed outside. Had some paint work done in 2011.I can assist with shippers and recommend one. I don't recommend driving it because of the age of the tires which are EAGLE GT's, they are old but look in good condition. I don't see any imperfections but it is up to the winning bidder.
