Hello Z's lovers out there; I hate to do what I'm doing right now, but I don't have any other choice. We ran in to some financial issue and want to sell one of my favorite lovely toy. She is 1971 Datsun 240z with 280z engine. Previous owner (92 years old) bought it new from Fresno dealer in 1971 and drove it until late 90' and decided to swapped out original engine with brand new 280z ordered from Japan. During that time he modified body to race car looks (as you see) and repaint areas that he custom build body to original color. This car is 100% original excepts outside paint at the front and spoiler, rims, 280z engine, and 2 seats; 2 original seat look almost new and will go with the car. I have all maintenance records for this car from the first day that she got out dealer til today. There is NO RUST at all and she looks almost like a new car.I'm locating in Round Rock-Texas-78665. Please contact me if you have any questions. This is one of the best 240z in the country. Please come in and see her; she looks better than pictures. If you're out of states, please ensure bring someone to inspect her before buying. There will be $500 deposit through Paypal in 24 hours after you win the bid. The rest of the fund will be pay in pull with in 7 days and I only accept bank check (cashier check). I can help with arrange/schedule for shipping, but you have to pay for that.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Entertaining offers on my classic fastback z car that would be a unique addition to any collection. Not for the faint of heart or those who avoid drawing attention. I've never taken it on the street without someone taking a pic or shooting a thumbs up. Even gotten praise from 'jdm' purists on more than one occasion. ZERO rust anywhere. Laser straight body, back halved, reinforced frame and custom metal work. Stronger front springs and struts to handle the extra weight. Emblems and rear bumper shaved for a super sleek look. Engine is a freshened, built 400 crank horse small block chevy with a rowdy solid roller crower cam, trw 30 over pistons, higher compression gm heads, port matched, pete jackson noisy gear drive (sounds like a blower motor), MSD ignition and a custom quick fuel 750 carb under realistic crower/hilborn injection cover. Carter electric fuel pump. The transmission is a th700r4 built to handle 500 ft lbs, with stage 2 b&m kit. In the rear is a Ford 9 inch detroit locker connected to mark williams 35 spline axles and Micky's 28x18 dot's. Suspension is a 4 link built into custom rear chassis section with adjustable dampening coilovers. 4 wheel disc brakes with corvette style booster, accessible through a flip up panel atop the fender. Rack and pinion steering. Custom seats with 4 point harnesses matched to steering wheel. Painless wiring harness, tidy and organized. Autometer phantom gauges - tach, speed, water temp, amps, oil pressure. All lights, signals and wipers working. Custom 4 core radiator with twin electric fans and a tranny cooler. Stays cool in the sun all day even in traffic! STREET LEGAL -- ALL LIGHTS, BRIGHTS, SIGNALS, ETC WORKING CLICK HERE TO HEAR MOTOR Cool nostalgic pro street look but very streetable and weighs under 2300 pounds! Hooks up, accelerates hard and leaves straight. It’s a bit dirty in the pictures as I haven’t really had the time to enjoy it the past couple months. Never had a chance to take to the strip, only cruise nights and some shows. Could use a roll cage if used primarily for racing. Some paint blems, chips, scrapes and a few cracks from road usage. Small crack on lower left headlight case. Needs a gas gauge (have to use dipstick) and there's no speedo cable hooked up, so I DO NOT KNOW THE EXACT MILAGE..its low as its only been a pleasure vehicle. Also needs a new latch on left side of the rear hatch. Currently, the exhaust goes straight out through the collectors/reducers which might be too loud for the street but there is also a full custom flowmaster exhaust that sounds awesome as well as wheelie bars for an over the top pro street look. Video to show engine sound and ease of starting:YouTube (Note: had just installed new pro billet MSD dist and timing / idle were a bit high) Will consider any REASONABLE offers, as we live in a world of dreamers and lowballers (I've already had two deals fall through). I'd like to get some debt payed off on a new project and could use the extra space. This is a great chance to own a well sorted, affordable hot rod or an excellent platform for a more serious race car build..all the arduous stuff is DONE. Current reg/collector plates and clean open CO title in my name. Deposit due within 48 hours and full payment due one week from deposit. Buyer is responsible for any shipping fees. The car is sold AS-IS. I've done my best to accurately and honestly present it, feel free to call or text with any more questions at (303) 807-7379. Thanks for lookin!

For sale is a beautiful 1972 model (Manufactured 09-71) Datsun 240Z. The car was sold new by Robinson Motors, in Gadsden, Alabama on December 22nd, 1971 to its original owner, original Warranty Booklet and Warranty Card is in good condition, and confirms that this is a matching number car, with the original E88 head. The car even comes with both numbered original keys, and both keys match the key numbers listed in the Warranty Booklet. It is believed that this is a true 2 owner car, our research shows that the car was originally titled in Alabama, then re-titled in New York (without change of ownership), and in November 2004 the car was sold to a new owner in Central Florida. Mileage on the odometer reads 95351, it is unknown if this is the actual mileage, we just changed shocks on the car, and the old shocks seems to be the original ones from 1971, so the mileage might be actual, but I cannot guarantee it. The car is in excellent condition, with only small spots of surface rust in spare tire well and under battery. The original floor pans had some very small holes, we grinded the floor pans down to bare metal, and welded in new metal in a couple of places. After repairing the floor pans, the whole area was treated and painted with POR-15 rust inhibitor, and then sprayed with bed-liner. Frame rails are in excellent rust free condition, so is trunk area. I did have to replace the rear quarter front section on both driver and passenger sides (the lower section just in front of the rear wheels); there was a little bit of rust there, when the car was sanded down for paint, we could see that area had previous repair done. The car has the Dealer Installed Air Condition system. Smog pump and other emission related items on the car have been removed. Car has the original tool kit, jack and tire stops. Original wheels are mounted with Uniroyal tires, 185/75-14 in very good shape, the original hub caps are still mounted on the wheels. This car was delivered in Blue Metallic (Paint Code 115) with a white interior. The interior was redone by owner in 2005, and the exterior of the car was just repainted (September 2015) in the original color. There is a crack in the original dash, I have selected not to cover this up, and would rather leave it up to the new owner to decide what to do with this. All weather-stripping was just replaced, together with all four shocks (Replaced with KYB shocks). Please be aware that pictures was taken before new shocks was installed, after the installation of the new shocks the rear end of the car sits higher than pictures shows. The car starts and runs fine; there are no grinding noises while changing gears, motor just received a general tune-up, oil/filter, air filter, and new plugs and wires. Clutch and brakes are in excellent condition, the car steers and brakes in a straight line, and there is no apparent slack in the front or rear suspension and steering components. New battery and battery tray/hold down (original Nissan Parts) was just installed. Original radio works fine.Over 100 pictures are available, please message me, and I will send you the link to the Dropbox folder.INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR SHIPPING INFORMATION, SELLER CAN HELP ARRANGE SHIPPING WORLD WIDE.

1973 Datsun 240Z with Chevy V8 conversion and a T5 manual 5 speed transmission. Installation was done professionally and is very clean. Have shop manuals, conversion book, and all receipts on engine work. Engine has Summit Racing double hump style heads and Edlebrock 4 barrel carburetor, deep oil pan, aluminum radiator with electric fan, electric fuel pump with manual shut off switch, and shorty headers. Has quick ratio manual steering that give a great feel for the road. Has new dual chambered mufflers. Has Toyota calipers and rotors on front for added stopping power. For extra rigidity and handling, has strut supports front and rear and has roll bar installed. Recently installed new wheels and tires with fewer than 1000 miles on them. The seats, headliner, and dash are in excellent condition. There is a crack in the vinyl on driver's side door panel. Has aftermarket tachometer and oil pressure gauge. Radio not hooked up. This is a very RAW fun car to drive. The low weight combined with the power of the 350 make this car extremely quick. It is the fastest, best handling car I have driven. It pains me to let this one go, but I've got other projects going on and need some $$$. If you are looking for a fast and great handling car, this one is for you! Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at anytime. Please ask questions and I'll do my best to get you some answers. A $500 deposit is required within 24hrs with balance due within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements.

This is a good restorable 240z, some rust bubbles in the quarters and rockers, rust in the battery tray as usual, the car has obviously been repainted and had a couple repairs in the past. But that's where the bad news stops, solid floors (driver floor appears to have been replaced at some point) solid original subframe rails, solid strut towers, perfect spare tire well. The car was originally an automatic, and currently has NO MOTOR OR TRANS, this would be a perfect candidate for a swap or restoration. Clean title. Interior is fairly complete minus seats and carpet, and is in pretty decent shape. Dash has the usual cracks. Overall it's very decent as far as 240's go. Lots of original parts in great shape, all the glass and lights are perfect, rolls free. Feel free to ask any questions! Buyer responsible for pickup or shipping, car is obviously not drivable. Car is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. ONLY BID IF YOU'RE SERIOUS! Thanks for looking! On Jul-03-15 at 20:24:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I can be reached at 208-791-3484. This is a gorgeous 1970 Datsun 240Z. Sold new in southern California where it has remained since. Notorious for rust, this 240Z is rust free and all the panels are original. The floors and frame are perfect. No damage or repairs. The Original Yellow paint was redone once better than it was when new. It has the 2.8 Turbo conversion done properly and professionally with the desired 5 speed transmission upgrade. HKS control setup running 10lbs boost at over 300 horsepower. Full exhaust upgrade, upgraded computer (original included). Full Wilwood slotted disc multi piston brake conversion front and rear. Expensive Forged monoblock wheels made in Japan on newer tires. The body is laser straight and as clean as the pics look. Carbon fiber hood and front air damn. All of the best parts were used bringing it to this level and no expense was spared. There is over $30,000 invested in this 240Z. Many polished and light weight aluminum upgrades in the drivetrain. Clean California title included and the registration is current. I have little space for parking here in San Diego and I use my other cars more often so it is time to part ways. Always garage parked. This 240Z is quicker than my modified NSX was. Stage 3 clutch, fully upgraded internals on the 2.8 conversion and the turbo was reworked for improvements. The motor sounds great and the transmission shifts flawlessly. Tight steering and the suspension was upgraded. This 240Z took years to bring to this level and it was a clean original 240Z to start with. The radio was upgraded and it works well. Full gauge and cluster upgrade as shown. Comes with a number of original parts that fit in the back for transport. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer 240Z with the original body in this condition. The price on the original Z is rising and this particular 240Z is collector quality. I have it priced to move. International buyers accepted. I took many pics to show it better than words can describe, click view all below to see them. Located in San Diego, California. I got this car from an old friend a month ago. He has owned the car since 1971 but he was not the original owner (long story!). He fixed-up the car himself back in the day. He told me he got the engine started up a year ago. The car has been sitting for a while but this is a solid car. Currently the car is not running condition. 1973 Datsun 240Z Original drive train is in good working order. I got this car as a partial trade. It took me 5 minutes to get the car started with starter fluid and a gas can. Just sprayed the fluid in the carbs and hit the key and it fired right up. I was amazed. I have not driven the car because the fuel system, including the gas tank will need a good cleaning. My guess is the car has been sitting for a while, but this is a solid car. With a good fuel system cleaning, flush the cooling system, change the hoses and radiator flush and check the breaks and you will have a good solid driver while you work on the body. As you can see from the pictures there is rust in all the common places, but the rust is only superficial body rust and all replacement panels are available. There is no rust in the frame rails or under carriage. Someone fiber glassed the floors. It’s an amateur job but the floors are solid. This is a solid project that would not take much to be a nice classic 240Z. Any questions Text me for quick answers. 407-592-3500 Scott
