Nowhere on this car does it try to hide its speedy intentions, which means everyone will hide from your 640 hp coupe on the street and the strip. This Mopar is a serious contender from every angle. From its menacingly aggressive leaning forward stance to the exterior mounted fuel gauge, this is intimidation on wheels. There are so many stickers from the performance parts that you can barely see the cool red stripe that stands out against the glossy black paint. This one even has flashy pieces of chrome, but this is more in a functional role on places like the wheelie bar and the extra wide Weld wheels in back. But we can't talk about the exterior without addressing the elephant in the room, or more appropriately on the hood. The huge fresh air hood scoop on top of the lightweight fiberglass hood looks like it could swallow lesser cars whole, and this piece sits above the hood like a big flag warning others not to mess with what's directly below it (more on that in a moment.) The interior is civilized enough for street use, but the hardware is made for the track, which is the essence of pro-street. You get a set of racer bucket seats that include Simpson five-point harnesses. The driver has a custom Auto Meter gauge setup. The big tachometer is essential because the real fun of this toy comes from running through the Cheetah SCS Turbo Action shifter. If you were still doubting how serious this car is about getting on the track, just look at the full overhead toggle switch panel for all major components. You also get a full 12-point roll cage and a Lexon windshield. So yes, this one is ready for NHRA down to 8.50. Ok, we won't leave you in suspense any longer about the monster motor. It's a 410 cubic-inch V8 with some serious power upgrades. This includes Comp Cams solid rollers with a .691 ratio, Holley 1050 CFM carburetor, Edelbrock Super Victor intake, MSD distributor, aluminum radiator, and custom long tube headers. That last component not only makes for more power, but also its near free-flow setup below the car that makes the kind of rumble that others feel in their chests. The full package is rated at 640 horsepower. That much muscle reliably gets to the road via three-speed automatic with separate fluid cooler and custom aluminum driveshaft. As you know with any good drag motor, there's also plenty of torque ready to twist the body like taffy. That's why this Mopar has its frame reinforced with added bracing in front, and support bars built into the coilover rear suspension. The tubbed rear end makes room for the wide racing slicks, and the fuel cell and battery in the trunk help keep weight where you want it. Plus, when it comes time to stop all this power, there are four-wheel disc brakes built with aerospace components to disparate the heat that comes from this wicked Demon. This Dodge Demon Pro Street is so mean, it's just barely enough on the right side of the law enough to get a license plate hung on the back. Are you the one to tame it? 1972 Dodge Dart Demon (LM29H1B509xxx) factory 340c.i.(H-code) car with the awesome 5-speed Keisler engineering Tremec TKO-600 transmission. The Demon has power disc brakes, power steering, factory performance hood with stripe, black 340 Demon side stripe and black trunk stripe, original AM radio, factory vinyl top and rallye wheels with BFG tires. The Demon is believed to have 46,010 original miles as stated on the PA title and some older documents from previous owners. The stunning high gloss FE5 Bright Red base/clear paint is the correct factory color. The Demon was restored over the last few years and I just finished up a light restoration from top to bottom, which included the entire engine bay, trunk compartment, show car wet sand/buffing, rallye wheels/tires, full exhaust with factory tips, brand new professionally rebuilt correct date code 1972 340 engine (less than 100 miles), some interior items and many other items (please read details below). All of the body numbers match on the radiator support, VIN tag and on the speaker shelf/trunk divider area. You must check these numbers to authenticate that it is a real 340 Demon. This is an absolutely beautiful car and one of the nicest factory 340 Demons you will find with an excellent restoration and very low miles, great options and the awesome 5 speed overdrive transmission! The Demon was only produced for two years, in 1971 and 1972, therefore production numbers are very low, with few left that are actually factory H-code 340 cars and are in this condition. I also have the factory vehicle owners manual with the clear plastic jacket. PAINT AND BODY The body is in excellent shape and the panels are very straight with excellent seems and panel fit. The super high-gloss deep clear coat shine was just professionally wet sanded with 1500 and 2000 grit paper to achieve the high caliber ultra shine finish. This long process alone took over 40 hours and the finish shows it! The Demons sheet metal is believed to be mostly original with only the quarters, trunk extensions and front floor pans being replaced. The trunk floor, rear floor boards, rockers, fenders, hood, doors and frame rails are super clean and original. The Demon was painted about 2 years ago with base coat/clear coat and is in unbelievable condition… it has that deep wet look shine! If you think it looks good in the photos you need to see it in person! There are NO paint blisters or bubbles and looks fantastic. I am very critical on paint and there are only two extremely minor flaws in the paint, both located below the doors where the rocker meets the quarter at the seam. They are a very small 1” or 2” line in the paint (most of all A-body’s have this). These are extremely minor flaws and are not seen unless you are on your hands and knees. The trunk paint was just done and looks excellent! The underside of the trunk lid, hood and all the jams were done when the car was painted. The doors open and close excellent with the ease of a finger and even the door latches and strikers were cleaned and polished. GLASS, CHROME AND TRIM The glass is in very good original condition with only a few very minor marks. The front windshield is Chrysler stamped and in very good shape (it has had a chip fixed). The original Chrysler side and rear glass is in very nice condition and only the rear glass has a few minor scratches. All windows and locks operate as should. The front bumper is newer and the rear bumper was replaced by the previous owner and in very nice shape; however there are 3 chips in the chrome around the bumper bolt area (must have been overtightened). The top is free of any marks and has excellent chrome. The window trim is very clean and was polished for optimum shine. INTERIOR The interior was re-done with factory/custom seat covers, carpet, door panels, trunk divider, speaker shelf, dash pad, woodgrain on complete dash and sill plates. The factory gauge cluster is very nice condition. All factory gauges work and operate correctly. There are aftermarket water and oil pressure gauges for accuracy. All lighting works as should including the high/low beams, dome light, tail lights, parking lights, turn signals, four-way flashers and license plate light. The factory AM radio also works great! The E-brake, defrosters, heater, fan, horn, speedometer and dimmer switch work as should. The seat covers have the Demon character embroided in the top of the front seats! The original headliner in in decent shape and has some area’s that were repaired. I believe they are finally reproducing these one piece board types now. DRIVE TRAIN / SUSPENSION The new professionally rebuilt date coded 1972 340 makes excellent power, runs very strong through all the gears and sounds great. The original 340 was long gone before I got the car but having a correct date coded 340 is very nice to have. The 340 was completely rebuilt to 1970 340 specs with 9.8:1 compression and a steel crank. We just put the new 340 in on 6-15-15 and it has less than 200 miles on it!!! It has a new Crower solid lift cam (very close to stock) 438/456 lift and 229 duration at .050, solid lifters, adjustable rockers, timing chain, water pump, head gaskets, bored .030 over, TRW Sealed Power forged pistons and rings, recondition rods and crank, Melling oil pump and all new Clevite bearings and brass USA freeze plugs. The new 340 gives an excellent range of power and has the well-needed 17lbs of vacuum to operate the power disc brakes. The 2.02 “J” heads (casting number 3418915 G) have been totally redone with hardened seats, valve job, new guides, seats and springs. All engine parts were made in the USA and not the cheap crap that is out there. I only use the Brad Penn High Performance oil and all the correct break in oil was used on start up and motor is all ready to go! It is one of the best oils on the market and already has the higher Zinc added in for your older cars. The 1972 340 has a casting date of 2-8-72 and engine casting # is 2780930-340-5. The 340 is topped of with a Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock Thunder AVS series 650 cfm carb #1806 with electric choke. It also has the correct factory 340 exhaust manifolds part #’s 3614368 and 3418623. The new aluminum radiator was also just added with the new 340 and also has a fan shroud. The 5-speed Tremec TKO-600 transmission is absolutely incredible!!! It gives you excellent performance from red light to red light and gives you the extra 5th gear for highway cruising keeping your RPM’s very low! This complete kit cost over $4,700, plus labor. I have all the info on it with all the install papers and receipts. The rear end is a 8 1/4 with 4.10 posi center and a casting number of 3723599. It has newer Mopar Performance super stock leaf springs, hangers, bushings and new Monroe rear shocks. The front suspension had a PST kit installed in 2006 and is in great shape. This excellent drive train combo has very good performance and handles awesome in all conditions whether highway or city driving. This is a very tight and excellent smooth running and driving 340 5-speed Demon! This Demon has what everbody wants and sets it self apart from others with being a factory H-code and has power disc brakes, power steering, 5-speed overdrive Tremec, brand new 340 motor and much more! PLEASE COPY AND PASTE OR CLICK THIS LINK TO VIEW ADDITIONAL PHOTOS: https://1972dodgedemon.shutterfly.com/# I typically restore and finish around 10 Mopars a year and have been working on them for more than 25 years and I do every one as they were my own to keep. I put a lot of time, effort, pride and money in the cars that I offer for sale which is evident when viewing one of my cars compared to others for sale. As you look to the interior you will notice subtle changes, a pair of high back custom seats to add to the driver's comfort, a custom dash with Auto Meter gauges and an auxiliary set of Auto Meter gauges beneath the dash keeps the driver informed on everything under the hood. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo supplies the sounds for cruising! The exterior is finished in a bright red base coat, clear coat and is accented by a bold stripe package, a contrasting functional ram air scoop, and Cragar reversed S/S mags. The mags carry Dunlop GT Qualifier radials in 205/60R 15's on the front while a pair of 275/50R 15's attempt to put the power from the 8 3/4" rear to the ground. A quick look in the trunk shows that it is finished to show quality standards and contains a polished fuel cell. The Dodge Demons are very rare, and this one is certainly an exception with the upgrades it's received. Mopar muscle car supplying great looks, awesome sounds, and plenty of performance for any car enthusiast! Ad provided by ClassicCars.com

Freshly built with just 3 miles on the clock (yep, you read that right), it has been pumped up with a great-running 340, a rebuilt TorqueFlite, and a great paint job that is both subtle and sophisticated. This cool Dart has had a lot of time and money invested to transform it into the gorgeous Demon you see today. 100% rust-free from the start, it was given a full repaint inside and out in the correct GF3 Medium Green by a bunch of guys who clearly knew what they were doing. The finish is dazzling in the sunlight, where the gold undertones of the paint really sparkle, and correct reproduction Demon graphics and stripes were installed at the same time. Factory hood scoops were part of the package (this is a Chrysler muscle car, after all), giving it an aggressive look that will have competitors thinking twice about tangling with this Dart. Correct Demon badges were fitted, and all the chrome and stainless was shined up. There was simply nothing else on the road in 1971 that could compare to a Demon, especially at the price, and it remains true today. Inside, an all-new two-tone green interior was supplied by Legendary and helps bolster the Demon's no-frills street cred. The two-tone upholstery gives it an upscale look, and the rubber floor coverings promise zero maintenance. Glancing at the fender tag, this car was just about as stripped as you could get, although the original owner did specify an AM radio, which remains in the dash. Standard equipment included a pretty comprehensive array of gauges, and an aftermarket A/C setup hangs under the dash, so it looks like it might have been installed by the dealer back in '71. Everything remains in excellent condition, and it's clear that someone really loved this car. No frills, but that was entirely the point of the Demon, and you can easily see how it would be able to catch people unaware. A glance at the fender tag will tell you that this was originally a six-cylinder car, but today there's a built 340 under the hood, and it was built to rock. Finished to look highly authentic, the engine wears proper Hemi Orange paint, and the crinkle finish on the air cleaner and cast aluminum valve covers looks suitably butch. A 4-barrel carburetor feeds the strong-running small block and a set of shorty headers manage exhaust, and there's nothing like the ripping snarl of a highly-wound small block to attract attention. Underneath, the recent restoration is very apparent, as there's no trace of rust or rot anywhere on the chassis and it's beautifully detailed with new parts everywhere you look. The TorqueFlite automatic was rebuilt and feeds an 8.75-inch rear end. It wears cool 15-inch aluminum wheels that look straight out of the pages of Hot Rod magazine and they wear staggered 205/65/15 front and 225/60/15 rear performance radials. With a new-found emphasis on performance and economy, this Demon is the right muscle car for our times. You also won't find a nicer one, because someone spent way out of proportion to the sticker price to make this one of the best. Just as everyone else was winding down, they were building cars like this 1972 Dodge Demon 340, which didn't rely on Hemi power, but rather the great power-to-weight ratio of a V8-powered Dart. In typical Mopar fashion, this Demon is an extrovert. Top Banana Yellow paint means that this muscular car is impossible to ignore and looks fast just sitting still. Only about 9000 Demons were built in 1972, making this a rather collectable piece of Mopar history, and finding one this well restored is none too easy. For an affordable car, the body was treated to an expensive repaint that shines up beautifully and makes it look great from any angle. Add in the optional hood scoops and Sizzler stripes along the flanks, and it has a traditional Chrysler muscle car look that wasn't just for show, even in 1972. Excellent gaps throughout suggest that this car is not only well-restored, but that it led a rather easy life before it was resuscitated and given a new lease on life. Demon badges were controversial back in the day, but it's nice to see them in place on this car, which gives it a playful personality to go with its bright paint job. Other details like the chrome bumpers and unique slotted taillights help make it stand out among its more famous siblings. Although the Dart was Dodge's economy car, the interior doesn't look low rent in any way, shape, or form. High-back bucket seats wear fresh upholstery that accurately replicates the original stuff and adds to the sporty personality. There aren't a lot of frills, because even back then it was designed to be affordable, but with a woodgrained dash it has a warm, inviting look. The factory instruments are clustered around a rectangular center speedometer, with a white-faced tachometer neatly installed on the A-pillar and an oil pressure gauge neatly installed in the dash like it has been there from the start. A Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo was probably installed years ago and looks right in this '70s sportster, and a big Hurst T-handle shifter for the 4-speed manual transmission is reminiscent of the pistol-grip handles of yore. The compact Demon is surprisingly practical, too, with a spacious trunk that's nicely finished and includes what might be its original trunk mat. The heart of the Demon's success was a 340 cubic inch V8, which in the relatively lightweight body made for some impressive performance. Rebuilt with a mild cam inside, Edelbrock intake manifold, and a big Carter AFB carburetor, it's a certainty that this car will run better than the high-14s it delivered when it was new. Bright Hemi Orange paint contrasts brashly with the yellow inner fenders and firewall, and there's enough chrome inside the engine bay to make things interesting. That 4-speed drives an 8.75-inch rear end and with long-tube headers and a throaty dual exhaust system, you'll never get tired of running it through the gears. The floors are undercoated and orderly, albeit not detailed for show, but you're going to want to drive this one anyway, and it's exactly right for that. Rallye wheels were standard equipment on the Demon 340, with these carrying 195/70/14s up front and 235/60/14s in back. A neat little car that has earned its share of respect from both Mopar and non-Mopar fans alike. Then as today, it represents a lot of fun in an affordable, sensible package. For Sale on ebay is my 2016 Dodge Challenger Scat pack. This car is 1 of 87 with the Go Mango paint and 6 speed manual transmission for 2016. Color was introduced in June and this was one of the first batches of the new color. The car is in perfect condition, has never seen rain, and has never even been washed. I've done waterless washes on it to keep the dust and bugs off. Its garage kept as well, so it does not see the elements. This is your chance to save some money as this car still smells new and has been taken great care of. This car has some tasteful upgrades done to it that sets it a part from the rest. The car now sports Dodge Hellcat wheels with 275/40/20 tires in the front and 295/40/20 tires in the rear to help with the known traction problems these cars experience. The wheels and tires have 25 miles on them and everything is brand new (wheels, tires, lugnuts, sensors, srt caps). It also has the Dodge Hellcat air intake system, which utilizes the driver front headlight hole to suck in air to the intake. Has a factory lower air box with AEM air inlet tube. Since this upgrade, I have seen my car register from 486-490 horsepower on the gauge in the car, to 501-507, depending on day or night. The car loves cooler air temps and it helps being at near sea level. This car is very fast and I feel I got one of the stronger motors out there from the factory. Most people are seeing 460-480 on their cars gauge. This car has only 999 miles as I have driven the car very sparingly and only on nice weather days. Everything works perfectly on the car. The car has no dents/dings or scratches. You must see this color in person to really appreciate it. Also, some other upgrades include a SRT powered emblem for the rear spoiler, Dynomax bullet mufflers to replace the stock mufflers (sounds amazing, and like a muscle car should), Hurst Pistol grip shifter which feels perfect in your hand. It also now has an orange scat pack stripe which really sets this car a part from others. Realizing that maybe some people do not like the orange scat pack stripe, I will remove it at the new owners request. The car in pictures show a bit more red than what the car actually is in person, but the stripe looks cool in person. One of the biggest changes I made to the car was the addition of the SRT hood. This is a factory take off hood from an SRT in Go Mango. He switched to a hellcat hood, and I upgraded this scat pack with his SRT hood. I didn't want to match paint with my factory Go Mango car, so this was a perfect upgrade to my car. Everything remains factory looking. So as you can see this car has some nice additions to it. The overall options include power seats, locks, windows, touchscreen radio with a TON of different settings I have yet to explore, Back up camera, 4 wheel Brembo Brakes, Billstein suspension, 3.90 rear gears, and on and on. In this car for 45k with taxes plus another $4500 in upgrades. If you have never experienced the Scat Pack, it is truly a fun car to get out and enjoy. Fast, smooth, and I get 21mpg on the freeway. Has lots of performance features including, launch control, 1/4 mile timer, additional gauges, sport mode which really wakes the car up, etc. Comes with all paperwork from the factory. Comes with all remaining factory warranty as well. This is your chance to save quite a bit of money over buying from the dealer. Look around, you wont find to many Go Mango Scat Packs out there. I have recently decided to get the new Demon that is coming out for 2018, so I am putting my car up to start saving for that car. Please read all details about the sell of this car. The car must be paid for within 5 business days of end of auction unless otherwise agreed upon. The car will need picked up or shipped from Sacramento, CA. If you need quotes, I can help you obtain shipping quotes. If you need a ride from the Sacramento airport, i can provide that as well. The car has a clear title. Payment can be made with Bank Wire transfer, cash in person, or cashiers check. The car does have a loan/lein from Bank Of America that will be paid from the sale of the vehicle. I will pay the remaining loan balance and I/We can do a paperless title transfer to you or your bank straight from the bank. If your shipping the car, I will handle that and the title will be mailed directly from California DMV to you. Its an easy process, especially since its through Bank Of America which is all over the country. Once the car is paid for, you can pick up the car, and the title will take 2-3 weeks to be mailed to you or your bank. Simple process, but I want everyone to know exactly how the process works on the sale of the car. The car will be sold as is, where is, here in California. You will be responsible for all shipping or pick up costs. The car retains its Factory warranty, so it comes with 3 years/36k bumper to bumper, Road Service, 60k Powertrain warranty, for peace of mind. I encourage anyone to come look at the car, because this color is not a color that shows in pictures as well as it does in person. It is amazingly striking in the sun. Email any questions, and good luck!

1970 Dodge Challenger Pro Touring This is a one of a kind built Pro Touring 1970 Dodge Challenger designed by Eric Brockmeyer with over $200,000 invested. This car features XV Motorsports Level II Suspension front and back, Level II brakes, a new Indy Cylinder Heads all aluminum 528 cubic inch Street Legend Hemi, functional T/A hood with factory air cleaner and a host of unique features. This was a ground up restoration with a real 1970 Challenger body disassembled and strip at the start of the build. Paint and body work on this car are show quality. The vehicle took three years to build and has 900 miles since the build. Never been shown or presented in magazines. Make no mistake, this isn’t an amateur build with a few bolt-ons, this is a high end custom build with best of the best components and unmatched engineering to deliver ride quality on par with modern performance vehicles. Started with a rust free 1970 original Dodge Challenger, removed all the glass and completely disassembled the complete car. All the undercoating was stripped from the undercarriage. Then all the paint was removed and soda blasted the complete body. Cars by Haines painted the complete car and undercarriage Dodge Hemi Orange Pearl. The bottom of the car looks and shines like the top. The car is powered by a balanced and blueprinted Indy Cylinder Heads all aluminum 528 cubic inch Street Legend Hemi. The engine is topped with a 850 Mighty Demon which puts out 730HP @ 6600 RPM with 660 Torque @ 4800 RPM on 92 octane pump gas. The engine is mated to a hydraulically actuated Keisler TKO 5-Speed transmission which transfers power via an aluminum driveshaft to a built 8-3/4 rear with a limited slip differential, alloy axles and 3.90:1 gear set. Exhaust is handled by a set of, custom built by hand by James Vega, headers with 3” pipe out of stainless steel with electric cutouts. The complete exhaust system, from the headers to the exhaust tips are stainless steel and the cutouts allow you to adjust the exhaust to the sound you want. The engine bay also features a Be Cool aluminum radiator with twin electric fans, March Serpentine system with all billet components including the hood and trunk hinges. This car features top of the line XV Motorsports Level II suspension system. Up front, this includes and aluminum K-Member, billet Aluminum CNC’d upper control arms, forged aluminum spindles and lower control arms, quick ratio variable rate power steering with adjustable bump steer, NASCAR style adjustable splined tubular sway bar with billet aluminum arms and mounts. The rear is XV Motorsports Level II suspension which is a three link design with adjustable panhard bar, billet aluminum trailing arms, adjustable third link and an adjustable splined tubular sway bar with billet arms mounted through the frame rails. Both front and rear shock absorbers are custom calved, single adjustable nitrogen charged monotube coil-overs. The coil-over feature allows for adjustable ride height. These shocks are road race quality, custom valved by application, with matching spring rates that have been professionally tested on the track and street. To allow the suspension to work its fullest, the car has a XV Motorsports Chassis stiffening system installed. The system includes laser cut sub frame connectors contoured to the floor pan, inner fender braces. Brakes are road race quality featuring 14” 6-piston in front and 13” 2-piston in the rear. Rotors are true two piece design with billet hats and slotted discs. The pistons are sized to the application including the matched master cylinder and use of hydro-boost. Since the brakes were professionally engineered for this car the result is a vehicle that brakes hard and flat. System is plumbed with braided stainless hoses, stainless hard lines and high temp fluid. Wheels are custom Boze three piece billet aluminum 18” X 9.5” in front and 18” X 10” in rear with275/35-18 and 295/35-18 BF Goodrich KDW high performance tires For creature comforts this car has a lot to make the ride more enjoyable. It was the final year for these first generation muscle cars, and its model year was even cut short, making it the rarest of the E-bodies. But just in case you weren't already tempted by rarity, you'll be drawn in by all the desirable options and a performance-built 400+ hp V8. This particular car has been owned by the same caring owners the past 20 years; they are MOPAR enthusiasts and have only given this car the best. The Challenger's shape is one of the most popular muscle car profiles in history, but there's something on this one that makes it look exceptionally nice. The factory A57 Rallye Package that gives you the hood scoops, blacked-out grille and bold side strobe stripes. When this one was restored there were also some nice extra aggressive touches added such as matte black paint on the hood, hood pins, and the black rear spoiler. It all looks great on brighter update to the factory KY5 Yellow Blaze paint on an exceptionally straight body. The pristine black vinyl interior is the right choice to complement the exterior motif. The moment you slip into the high-back bucket seat, it feels like 1974 all over again. You've got the desirable center console with the iconic pistol-grip gearshift sitting boldly in the middle. The Rallye Package comes through again with a full set of gauges, including the big tachometer in the center. In fact, the only piece that doesn't feel factory-correct is a set of newer aftermarket gauges, which is clear indication that there is something big going on in the engine bay. Under the hood is a 360 cubic-inch V8 that's been bored to now make a monster 410 ci, but the performance improvements don't stop there. It was rebuilt 3,000 miles ago with solid lifters, cam, and pushrods. Plus, this one includes a 750 CFM Demon carburetor, high rise Edelbrock Air Gap intake, electronic ignition, and MSD distributor. It exhales deeply through ceramic long tube headers on its way to the new 3" stainless exhaust with performance X-pipe construction. So now this is not only make some serious power (400+ hp), but this big dog also has the bark to back it all up. Best of all, that pistol-grip shifter you noticed in the interior is linked to an upgraded four-speed manual transmission so you have full control to keep this monster motor in the powerband. Also, those stylish Magnum wheels are attached to aggressive BF Goodrich rubber, and there are even disc brakes in the front. There were less than 11,400 Challengers built in 1974. That rarity only get better when you go through the binder full of paperwork that includes the original dealer invoice and window sticker, and soon you'll see how special this Mopar really is. It was a well-optioned car when new, and it has kept all of those elements intact. SASSY GRASS GREEN PAINT....FAST ENGINEYear1971MakeDodgeModelChallengerVINJH23G1B339624Mileage102159TransmissionAutomaticEngine8 Cylinder, 340 LExterior ColorGreenInterior ColorBlackTitleClearFOR YOUR CONSIDERATION we have for sale a real Muscle Car. It looks like one with the Sassy Grass Green paint, big hood scoop and RT grafics. It runs like a real Muscle Car with a engine with a hot cam, headers and Flow Master mufflers. VIN JH23GIB339624 94 PICTURES BELOW, SCOLL DOWN TO SEE THEM ALL !!!!!!!!! WE ALSO HAVE A NICE BLACK 1973 CHALLENGER ON EBABY MOTORS, LOOK AT OUR OTHER ITEMS. HOW IS THE PAINT? The sassy grass green paint is nice. I see no dents and no dings and the car is straight when I look down the sides. The hood has the MOPAR look with the big scoop. The hood is fiber glass and removable and on show lifts. You will like the paint! HOW DOES THE CAR RUN? It runs like a Demon, to me it is very fast. The cam is just right, it hits a lick. It starts good and I hear no rattles or knocks. IS THE ENGINE ORIGINAL? My guess is no, past owner said it was a 340. It fits correct and is a strong engine. I have not looked for casting numbers. It is very clean with nice dress up chrome. It has a cam that hits a good light, it sounds like a real Muscle Car. NOTE: In my pictures you see no heater hoses from the core to the engine. They are no on, past owner had not hooked them up. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It a good 727 3 speed automatic. I feel no slip and it shifts firm. Nice ratchet shifter. IS THIS A REAL RT? My guess is not, but don't it look good. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good for 4 wheel drums. Shifter has a brake lock on it with a light, when you mash the button it locks the front brakes for a burn out. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It is power steering and to me it drives good. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? The seat covers are nice, door panels decent, dash pad good, head liner has a loose seam. There was plenty of money invested in upgrading the V8 power and turning this into a all-dark machine, but that doesn't mean you have to pay too much. 1972 is a desirable year for Darts. This would be the last time they did not have federally mandated impact bumpers, and that means something special on a car like this. It's all-black style looks great when the painted bumpers hug the body like they're not even there. It gives this coupe a brute muscle car look that helps highlight features like the front chin spoiler. Even thought this mean Mopar is dark down to its steelie wheels, the paint is all done in such a nice high gloss that people will think of this less as a budget bruiser, and more like an undercover muscle machine. Open the door and you'll see more of this custom midnight attitude. The bucket seats are borrowed from a late model car (a comfortable upgrade), but the black vinyl pattern still matches everything else inside. The darkness is broken up by a hint of classy color, with the Dart's wood paneling remaining on the doors and dashboard. It also matches the iconic Hurst pistol grip shifter. This stick shift is part of the reason you'll be glad there is a sports steering wheel to hang onto, and a large AutoMeter tachometer with shift light to keep an eye on (there's a set of auxiliary gauges below the dash as well.) For everyone else in the car, there's an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo to stay entertained. As you probably have guessed by now, there is something quite wicked under the hood of this Mopar. You could get a 340 cubic-inch motor like this one in the Dart Demon version in 1972, but even that did not get the famous three two-barrel carburetors on top. Yes, this one has been upgraded to the iconic six-pack! It's also received Mopar Performance valve covers, Jacobs Ultra Coil ignition, and long tube headers. This all combines to make the kind of rumble from the dual exhaust that you'd expect from a bad boy coupe. And you'll have no trouble proving this power on the streets, thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. But for those times when you just want to go around intimidating people at slow speeds, this custom Dart will cruise all day thanks to its power steering and front disc brakes. This is a big booming motor in an all-dark package. Who knew you could get Darth Vader on wheels for such an affordable price?
