1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback, 390 V8 Automatic. Beautiful original car. My personal vehicle which I bought from the original owner whom bought it new from Dunton Ford in Santa Ana, California. Will deliver for free to the lower 48 States for the Buy It Now Price. This is a one of a kind classic car. It is not a restored show car but it is in excellent condition. It can be driven daily and is quite capable of cruising across the country at high speeds. A very reliable car due to being maintained regardless of cost. I have mostly used it for driving between my home in California and my second home in Canada. I just drove it from Santa Barbara, California 2200 miles to Canada last weekend. It barely had a break the whole trip completing it in 36 hours. Cruising at 80 mph the majority of the journey it returned 18 mpg and it never missed a beat. I have made the trip several times in this car and it has always been perfectly reliable, I would trust it to drive me anywhere. That's how reliable and usable this 47 year old classic is. As mentioned above, I purchased this car from the original owner. He had driven it for about 10 years and then placed it in dry storage up until I bought it which is why it is so well preserved. I have all of the original documentation and handbooks in excellent condition. The paint is original, the interior is original and it is all in excellent time warp condition just showing minimal wear. The condition is best described as if this was a well cared for used 68 Galaxie Fastback that you were buying in the late 70's when it was around 10 years old. That's the kind of condition it is in. I have maintained this car meticulously. When I bought it I had all new brakes fitted including rotors, pads, drums, linings, brake lines, brake hoses, brake booster and master cylinder. It is a factory power disc brake car so it stops very well. I replaced the rear suspension arms and bushings with high quality ones which can be greased. I also recently had the carburetor fully rebuilt so it starts and runs perfectly hot or cold. And the transmission had a new modulator fitted earlier this year because it had started to leak slightly. The factory AC works very well and I had it serviced and re-filled with R12 Freon this past summer. Everything works on this car exactly how it did in 1968. The 390 V8 is original to the car and in excellent condition. It is very smooth and runs beautifully with huge torque. It embarrasses many modern cars on long steep mountain grades, it just doesn't slow down no matter how steep the hill. The transmission shifts perfectly and the 9 inch rear end is quiet with no leaks. The only thing that isn't stock on this Galaxie is a very expensive custom hidden audio system I had fitted with Ipod connection. This cannot be seen as I did not want to ruin the time warp interior but it is very convenient with good sound quality. Also it has a high quality stainless steel exhaust system. Otherwise this car is exactly as it left the factory. These cars have beautifully clean styling and are a 1 year only bodystyle. Probably one of the purest looking classic American cars in Fastback form. This is a beautiful classic American car that gets a lot of attention and looks. This is not some restored show car, it is a beautifully preserved and original 2 owner car that still gets driven everywhere at high speeds just like it would have done in 1968. This Galaxie is rust free throughout. The frame and floors are as good as new. A pleasure to own and drive, the most satisfying car I have ever owned. It will be missed if sold but sadly personal circumstances are making it not look like a viable option to be able to keep it so make me a respectful offer. Truly unique, you just don't find original un-restored cars from this era that you can get in and use like this, especially not 68 Galaxie Fastback's. I have had the VIN decoded - 8 = model year: 1968J = build plant: Los Angeles Assembly Plant in Pico Rivera, California55 = Body Serial Code: Galaxie 500 2-door fastback hardtop, bench seats (69,760 produced during the 1968 model year)Y = engine: “390 Thunderbird V-8", 390-2V, 265 hp @ 4400 rpm, 390 lb-ft @ 2600 rpm, 9.5:1 compression ratio177666 = Consecutive Unit Number (CUN): 77,666th Ford car scheduled to be built at the Los Angeles Assembly Plant during the 1968 model year (Job 1 was CUN 100001) Also I had the production data decoded - BODY 63B = Body Style Code: Galaxie 500 2-door fastback hardtop, bench seats (69,760 produced during the 1968 model year)COLOR O = exterior paint color: Sea Foam Green (light green)TRIM 6G = interior trim color, material and front seat style: light ivy gold “Kiwi” pattern vinyl cushion inserts, and light ivy gold "Crinkle" grain vinyl cushions, bolsters and back, bench seatDATE 11U = scheduled build date: Sunday, August 11, 1968DSO 71 = District Sales Office: car was originally ordered through the Los Angeles, California sales district, which covered southern California and southeastern NevadaAXLE 1 = rear axle ratio, type and ring gear diameter: 2.75:1 non-locking, 9"TRANS X = transmission type and shift location: FMX SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic, column shift A $500 PayPal Deposit is required within 48 hours of sale. It was built using all high quality race parts that were installed by the best guys in the area. The motor is an E85 beast with over 700 HP, and paired up with the 6-Speed Tranzilla transmission, makes the Fairlane a drivable street machine that's ready for the track as well.  The body of the car was stripped down to bare metal and is completely rust free from front to rear. The car has killer body work and paint and is straight as an arrow down the sides. The paint has been color sanded and buffed to show car quality. The panel gap and body fitment is superb. All of the trim on the vehicle is re-plated or polished NOS stuff and fits beautifully. The hood is a Crites fiberglass reproduction and also has excellent fit, especially for a glass piece. The interior of the car is like new and has been Dynamatted from front to rear. The car sports the factory gauge cluster with a big Autometer tach and knee knocker gauges under the dash to keep track of those vitals. A 6 point cage was installed that has been tied into the subframe connectors for extra strength and safety, and off it run dual 5 point harnesses.  The suspension of the car features a Flaming River rack and pinion, billet tie rods, tie rod sleeves and 4 Strange double adjustable coil overs. The car has been scaled and corner balanced by Griffin Custom Racecraft. In the rear sits an Alston 4-link suspension. The wheels are ET Classic V wheels that measure 15x5 in front and 15x12 out back. The rear tires are M/T ET Street tires that measure 14x31x14.5.  The motor is a balanced and blueprinted, E85,  427 FE Side Oiler built by AMT Performance in St. Louis. The motor was built using a Genesis cast iron block that was sonic checked, hot tanked, and magged. It was then bored and honed with torque plates, square decke, line bored and line honed. The motor uses Edelbrock heads that were ported and machined for T&D race rockers. A Scat forged stroker crank coupled with the bore takes the motor to 498 CI.  The engine has forged Ross racing pistons which are gas ported and have coated skirts. The cam is a Comp Cams solid roller unit and the billet main caps are made by Pro-Gram. The intake is a Victor which has been ported and port matched to the heads. The front accessories run on a Concept One system. The car was dynoed last year and made 700 HP @6,800 rpm and 616 ft lbs of torque @5,100 rpm. The static compression ratio is 13.96 to 1.  The fuel system uses a racing fuel cell, Aeromotive A1000 electric pump and Quickfuel Holley Dominator 1050 on E85.  The transmission is a Tremec T-56 Magnum Tranzilla 6-speed built by Rockland Standard gear. It uses a Mcleod dual-disc clutch and steel flywheel, hydraulic TO bearing, and Quicktime scattershield. The rear end is a Ford 9" with a S/W brace, 35 spline Strange axles, spool, 4.56 gears, Mark Williams steel driveshaft, 1350 u joints, and driveshaft loop. The motor exhales through a custom built set of headers with 2 1/4" primaries, merge collectors and a monster 3 1/2" exhaust. It's a pro built by Griffin Custom Racecraft tig welded throughout.  The electrical system is new from front to rear and uses a PowerMaster alternator, RobbMc starter and dual Optima batteries in the trunk.  For the Ford enthusiast looking for an over the top, high-end car built using the best parts and highest craftsmanship available, this Fairlane is a bargain compared to the cost to built the car.  VIN: 6K43C259118 Year: 1966 Make: Ford Model: Fairlane Engine: 498.00 CI V8 Transmission: 5-Speed Manual Color: Red over Black Odometer Reading: 299 Financing and warranty options are available.  Please call us directly to acquire shipping bids, to answer any questions about this automobile, or to secure this special car for yourself. Up for sale is my 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback. It has a 390 big block engine and 4 speed toploader transmission. I have owned and garage kept this car for the last 15 years. I really do enjoy driving and working on her, but I must sell due to financial reason(kids, college, divorce, new house). This Galaxie was built in the Dallas,Tx. Ford plant and was originally a Corinthian white fastback with a small block engine, automatic transmission and air conditioning. I'm guessing it spent it's entire life in west Texas because there isn't a bit of rust anywhere and the fine talc dirt I found in the frame rails. When I say NO RUST, I don't mean it has been cut out and repaired. This car is totally rust free in the body and frame. That's pretty good for 62 years old. The car was already painted turquoise with a bright white roof when I purchased it and I can say it is a very nice job. All the door jambs, interior, and inside the hood and trunk match. You would be hard pressed to find any of the original color paint. Only behind/under the back seat, under the carpet and deep inside the trunk can you find any original white paint. The interior is white vinyl with a bench seat. I added seat belts as a bit of a safety feature So here is some of the work I have done over the years, mostly drivetrain related; The engine is an original '63, 390 block bored .030" over and both cylinder banks decked to true things up. The crank was turned and assembled with new Clevite 77 bearings. The pistons are TRW flat tops with moly rings. The connecting rods are later model Cobra Jet items. I choose a mild Comp cam, grind 270-H with their lifters. The heads are FE 406 high performance items, C3AE-6090C, with all new valves, guides, seals, springs and keepers. They were both ground true on all mating surfaces. I topped of the engine with a Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold and a Holley 670 cfm vacuum secondary carburetor. All in all, I have about $3K in the motor for machine work and parts. The motor starts right up(mini starter) every time and runs great all day long. All the cooling issues that FE engines are know for have been worked out. The radiator was cleaned and roded out and I still use the original radiator tank mounted on the intake manifold. It has a FlowKooler water pump that is overdriven 10% of the crank speed. An original fan with new Hayden clutch fan is used. And the biggest improvement has been the addition of an original Ford, steel fan shroud. These were only used on air conditioned cars and it makes all the difference(hard to find and expensive). You can sit in traffic all day long and the engine will not over heat. The car has a set of ceramic coated FPA(Ford Powertrain Application) headers. They ARE the very best headers made for Ford products and fit the early FE exhaust ports correctly. Downstream there is a $1K custom exhaust system consisting of 2 1/2" mandrel bent pipe and 50 series Flow Master mufflers. The 50 series do not drone like the 40 series, so you can cruise all day comfortably. The brakes are still the original single master cylinder with drum brakes at all 4 corners. I rebuilt everything in the system and they work great and do not pull at all. I had planned to upgrade to a new duel master cylinder and front disk brakes, but never got around to it. I have lots of info on the topic and there are plenty of complete kits available to make this swap if you wanted to.There are new 5 leaf springs used for station wagons in the rear. The original 3 leaf springs always had the rear end hanging low and the 5 leaf brings the car up level. The transmission is a 1964 toploader that I built in wide ratio. The earlier Borg Warner T10 units were weak and had problems. This trans, in wide ratio, is so much more enjoyable to drive around town than the close ratio. The engine has a billet steel flywheel with a Zoom clutch. There is a Hurst shifter doing the duties of changing gears.Downstream of the trans is a rebuilt drive shaft with new slip yoke connected to a Ford "big Bearing" 9" rear end. The 3rd member was built using a new Strange S-Series iron case. The case houses an Auburn Gear Pro Series limited slip differential with 3.50 gears. All carrier and axle bearings and seals were replaced during the build. I would call the exterior a 9 out of 10 because the anodized trim is in only good condition, but it's all there. Both bumpers are re-chromed and the grill is refurbished as well as a few trim pieces. The wheels are American Racing 15" and the tires are getting a bit worn and old(I drive it). The interior is an 8 out of 10 with new black carpet. The shifter hump is an original steel item with the trim ring. I would have no hesitation driving this car anywhere, anytime. The motor is very strong and will haul this 4500# car around like you can't believe. Everything works as it should and it has no bad habits. I am less than 50 miles south of Carlisle, Pa. and may be able to deliver the car to the All Ford show June 5-7 if purchased. Or, if you were attending, I'm an easy drive away to take a look at her. I'm sure there are plenty of things I have forgot to mention or you have questions about. So please feel free to call me, Andy at 410 207-6232 with your questions or to schedule a time to see and drive her. I hate to see her go and I'm not going to give her away, but I do need to make a sale to pay some bills. Thanks for looking.

1964 Ford Galaxie 500 2Dr HT Fastback 5 speed. This 'skylight blue Ford is really perfect. I have this car now for 7 years and made many changes. The car was all its live in North Carolina until I bought from the Nascar museum next to the Charlotte race track. These cars were famous in the 64 not only because of their beautiful body lines with a much lower roof that all Fastback models received with the model year 63 ½ but also due their tremendous success in Nascar. This Ford has received a lot attention and all technical parts are new, overhauled or modified. It drives and brakes like a modern car but makes much more fun. 1957 FORD FAIRLANE 500 This listing is for the car you see in the listing. It has been restored to a beautiful Red over White and near flawless. The interior is accented by a matching Red over White fabric that is durable and seats very comfortably. This is a rare car, especially in the current condition. The engine is new within 500 miles and is a small block Ford V-8 with a mild cam. This is an excellent daily driver, or Saturday afternoon car show ride. 1/4 Skirts are painted and available, see pictures. Please see my 100% positive feedback Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Vehicle is located near Dacula GA and can be shown by appointment. Please call Dave with any questions678-409-6750 The 1957 models retained a single-headlight front end like their predecessors, but were unmistakable with their long flanks and tailfins. A plethora of trim lines was introduced, starting with the base "Custom", "Custom 300", "Fairlane", and top-line "Fairlane 500". The two Custom lines used a 116 in (2946 mm) wheelbase, while the Fairlanes had 118 in (2997 mm) between the wheels. A new car/pickup truck hybrid based on the short-wheelbase chassis was also introduced, the Ranchero. The 223 CID (3.7 L) OHV Straight-6 continued, now with 144 hp (107 kW). The V8 lineup included a 272 CID (4.5 L) Y-block making 190 hp (142 kW), a 292 CID (4.8 L) Thunderbird version making 212 hp (158 kW), a 312 cubic inch V8 making 245 HP and a supercharged 312 CID (5.1 L) Thunderbird Special making 300 hp (224 kW), and designated "Police Interceptor" on the glove box. A dual 4 barrel version of the normally aspirated (non-supercharged) 312 cubic inch V8 rated at 270 HP (some sources report 285 HP) was reportedly available, although that engine option was not listed in most Ford sedan factory literature and is more commonly associated with one of the optional Thunderbird engines. This option was dubbed "E code" and featured a unique camshaft, cylinder heads, intake manifold and various other performance enhancements. It came standard with the deep-dish steering wheel. The radio became transistorized.[4] There were lights for the generator and oil instead of gauges.[5] The controls became reccesed for more safety (the Lifeguard safety package was still available)[6] A new frame was used for the 1957 Fords. It moved to perimeter rails out, so that they would fully envelope the passengers.[7] In a survey of 1957 Ford owners in the March, 1957 issue of Popular Mechanics, only 6.2% of owners ordered seat belts.[8] Warranty InformationUsed vehicle conditions are subjective and open to interpretation therefore this vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 Restomod Coupe with over $50,000 spent on build. This vehicle has been built with high end craftsmanship and components. All suspension, frame, wiring, and mechanical work was completed by 3rd generation hot rod builder Tim Cornelius. The frame has subframe connectors, has been mini-tubbed, and houses an 8.8" narrowed rear end. The suspension is from Rod and Custom and features a complete Mustang II front end and coilovers all the way around. The rear suspension is multi-link with ladder bars. The car has four wheel disc brakes and stops very well. Please see the pictures of the underside to see what really sets this car apart. Of course, the suspension has all new bushings, hardware, etc. Over $12,000 of work was done on the suspension, electronics, and mechanical installation to ensure a quality foundation for the build. The motor is a late model 302 c.i. Roller Motor with Trick Flow Heads, Shorty Headers, MSD Ignition, aluminum radiator, electric fuel system, and way too many other high performance parts to list. The transmission is a Heavy Duty 5-speed manual Tremec 3550. The powertrain components alone were over $8,000. The $8,000 basic bodywork and paint was done by MC Customs and is painted in Ford Torch Red (code D3) paint. The finish work and trim work was done at the local Ford dealer. Every single piece of weatherstripping and every seal is brand new. All exterior hardware is either thoroughly reconditioned and polished or brand new. The bumpers are brand new solid-metal chrome bumpers from Bumper Boyz. The reconditioning and new trim pieces cost over $4,000. Inside you will find a brand new interior which was also stripped down to bare metal and rebuilt with new insulation, new materials, new carpet, and all new interior trim pieces. The entire interior was done by Auto Upholstery Unlimited. The dash and all exposed areas were painted white to match the exterior accent area. The dash has all brand new Auto Meter Phantom Gauges and features an Ididt chrome tilt steering column. The new door panels and kick panels were done in the same material as the new seat upholstery. Every square inch, including the headliner and every handle, is brand new. There is over $7,000 in interior work and pieces. The wheels are a custom made set of American Racing wheels with new tires and feature a custom offset to complement the overall stance. As with any build, there are virtually countless other little items on this vehicle and finish work/calibration done which has resulted in one of the most driveable restomod vehicles you will ever experience. I also have many extra trim pieces that will come with the car. The bad: There is a small crack (pictured) on the passenger side wheel well. There is very little wrong with this car. It is in amazing shape. Ready for the car show, your collection, or for cruising. Please do not hesitate to email with any questions. Thank You for looking and Happy Bidding!

Up for grabs a 1951 ford 2 door sedan I purchased about 5 yrs ago and haven't gotten around to. I did strip the whole body down to bare metal and it was sprayed with quite a few coats of a high build direct to metal primer. There is no body filler on this car, there is a few minor dings but no dents. You can see the tiny pin holes of rust in the pics I have posted that is the only damage to the body other than the rear wheel openings being opened up for wider tires. It has no motor or trans I did swap the stock rearend for a s10 rearend with 373 gears. Front and rear bumpers are driver quality nice headlight rings and taillights. It comes with a radiator and the outer grill but that's all I have for the car. The car had a big block Chrysler in it at one time according to the previous owner so the is a section of the front crossmember that has been modified. I purchased this car in Arizona. Buyer is responsible for shipping I will help load the car if needed. $500 non refundable deposit must be made within 24 hrs using paypal and the rest must be paid using a wire transfer or cash in hand within 3 days unless other arrangements have been made. The car is located in phoenix az.
