1999 ford escort zx2, is my daily driver but looking for a different car, clean title. Only 167k miles. 5 speed transmission with good clutch. Interior is 9/10 outside is 8/10 (has some paint oxidation) everything works as it should. Has fosgate speakers both In front and back, with amp under the seat. ( Tires are good and will last much longer. comes with extra break pads (need installed just started to squeak/scrub in the front) recent oil change. just put in new spark plugs and a new coil pack (didnt actually need the coil pack just preventive maintenance) Can get in and drive anywhere you want with no worries what so ever. Clean title. Working sun roof, doesn't leak, cold ac/ hot heat. Only problems this car has is the switch that controls the heat/ac the cable needs replaced but you can reach and change it by hand easily. The flap it connects to is close to the gas pedal just turn it for heat/cool. New cable is $15 just haven't fixed yet. You pay shipping. Have sold a few vehicles on here with 100% positive feed back. Car is kinda rough, has rusty rocker panels, been filled with spray foam to pass inspection last year, inspection did run out in March, car has been parked so didnt try to take it for inspection. The brake light is on, not sure why, it had new front brakes and rotors put on last year, dont know if back brakes are bad or just from it sitting. Check engine light is on, throwing a code for the timing, runs ok, just has a pretty bad chatter in the top end. Ive been told theres a valve under the valve cover that distributes oil to the valvetrain that is a common failure on these, havent had too much time to look at it, have many other projects going so id just rather move on and sell it to someone that has some time to fool with it. It does have brand new wintertreads on the front, they were put on a couple weeks before it started to act up, probably dosent have a 1000 miles on them, the back ones are about 50%. Has new inner/ outer tie rods, ball joints, stabilizer links, control arm bushings, all as of last year. Would make a nice little project or a work car.

Nice clean, good running Ford ZX2 coupe. This has the 5 speed manual trans and Cosworth style Zetec 4 cylinder motor with the 16 valve dohc head. Motor puts out 130 hp and does a very respectable 7.4 sec 0-60 time. Very fun to drive. Same formula as the old British sports cars of the 60's and 70's, a potent high-revving motor in a lightweight chassis. There is some minor cosmetic damage (scratches) to the right front fender, but should be an easy fix. Check out the pictures. This car is priced to sell. Serious offers will be considered.
