100+ PICTURES, INCLUDING CLEAN, RUST FREE UNDERSIDE BELOW DESCRIPTION, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ FULL DESCRIPTION AND LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES IF SERIOUS!!!  YOU WILL NOT FIND A NICER, BETTER MAINTAINED, SIMPLE, NEEDS NOTHING 7.3 POWERSTROKE FOR THE MONEY!! Look at the other's available....any underside pictures? A thorough, detailed description? You get what you pay for....  First of all, thank you for viewing my auction. After being disappointed by all the ratty other 7.3 Power Stroke trucks out there and looking at this one, please feel free to message me. This is a 21 day auction and it will sell and you will not find another like it this clean and well maintained for the money. Most of my 7.3 Power Strokes end up selling before listing ends due to time. Whomever hits buy it now gets it immediately!! No bidding and waiting, no back and forth negotiating, no games, no documents fees or taxes collected by me. Don't miss out. Buy It Now is $14,900. RARE and desirable, bulletproof 6 speed manual ZF transmission with new clutch. Very smooth and easy to drive. It looks, starts, runs, smells, and drives solid and tight. Suspension is tight with no wandering or looseness, brakes like new, immaculate interior and dry underside. Never eaten in, spilled in or interior soiled, and even still smells fresh! There is not a nicer, 7.3 Powerstroke available for this price, I can honestly say that, because there are none other like this truck for the price with such low miles and manual transmission. Any you find for less will have dents, leaks, scratches, banged up beds, and wear all over. Look around, you'll waste a great deal of time and then see!! Yes, you can buy one of these for around $10K or less with more than 200K miles, or so, but they won't be anywhere close to this truck and still will not be a garaged, well maintained and simple truck like this one. If you want a project, please buy one, as this is not it. If you don't know the history of the 7.3 Power Stroke, please use Google. Nothing overlooked on this truck, There is plenty of junk out there if you want a cheapo. If you want a turn key truck that will do what you want it to, be reliable, very spacious and comfortable, needs nothing, and a workhorse that keeps up with your rugged intensive labor you expect from it, you just found it. Pay a little more than the junk out there and get A LOT more. This is a perfect tow rig that is simple, inexpensive, and easy to maintain with out all the sensors and maintenance issues of the new ones!  I am both a PS and TRS on ebay, which less than 1% of seller are, and have a 100% positive feedback score, so have no worries. Please take the time to allow the 100+ detailed photos to load (scroll down and over for full pictures if they appear cut off), it IS WELL WORTH the wait, and PLEASE read the entire description before asking questions (I know it is long, but I wanted to cover all bases) If you are serious, I know you will read every word, and look at every picture. This is the type of person I am looking for, for a quick and easy sale. I am very easy to deal with. Feel free to message me for my phone number and we can discuss every aspect of this truck. This truck is priced for a quick sale to the discriminating enthusiast/collector that appreciates all the details, cleanliness, and correctness of a best year 7.3 Powerstroke. Everything correct on this truck for both finish and function, so you don't have to do a thing. Ready to work or play. $7K in upgrades listed below. Perfect advertising vehicle for your business too and can even be a tax write-off while towing your boat, show car, trailer, camper, etc.!! Shipping available at buyer's expense by a licensed, bonded and insured auto transport company that I have used for years with no issues. It is less expensive to ship at this time of year than you'd think! Price is a Buy it Now of $14,900. No taxes, document fees, or games like other charge, collect, and play. This truck will sell, don't miss out, you will never find another like it in this condition, mileage, and all the extras!! I am a full service shop very familiar with these trucks, especially the 7.3. If there is something you want changed or upgraded, I am happy to do what ever your heart and wallet desires. For example, you want a regular tailgate, or a Snug top shell installed and color matched? No problem...Bed Rug?..... Possibilities are endless!! This is a 2000 F-250 4 Door Super Cab, 8 foot Long Bed. It has only been driven by mature adults and never used as a work truck or beaten up. Bed never banged up and is set up for a 5th wheel hitch (in bed 5th wheel rails and hitch are sold, but holes and connector are there if you choose to put a 5th wheel hitch back in).  All it has ever towed its whole life is a small 5500lb 5th wheel travel trailer a handful of times, but can certainly tow anything you choose to. Oil changes always done before required, or once a year, what ever came first. Transmission fluid, rear end fluid, power steering fluid, and Motorcraft green coolant/distilled water are all recent, as is the serpentine belt, batteries etc. Truck needs nothing. Just hop in it and go. It runs and drives perfect and has no leaks, seeps, drips, or issues. THE TRUCK FIRES UP EVERY TIME, FIRST TIME. THE GLOW PLUGS AND INJECTORS HAVE ALL BEEN TESTED AND ARE WORKING PROPERLY. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO DRIVE THIS TRUCK ACROSS THE COUNTRY!! It is the nicest 7.3 available for the money. Why save a few dollars and buy someone else's problems?  This incredible F-250 truck has always been babied since new and always garaged. All freeway miles (many of the miles being towed behind a motorhome) between Texas, Oregon, WA, and CA by retired elderly travellers. Always garaged and pride of ownership and maintenance shows in every aspect of this truck! Never in the snow or salt. Very comfortable captains chairs with flip down armrests and center console for storage. no stains or tears. Underside alone speaks volumes about this truck. It is very dry. I own a high end Mustang shop that has been in business for 20+ years and am VERY particular with all vehicles I choose to deal with. Truck has never been abused, mudded, wrecked, raced, damaged, bumped, or driven by kids, etc, since built. No rust, dents, and no curb rash on the nice Eagle chrome aluminum wheels. This truck is absolutely solid through out. In my 20+ years in the Mustang business, I have rarely seen, owned, or driven a nicer built and well balanced truck that is so fantastically preserved and taken care of. I am severely picky too!! I have owned over 1000 Mustangs, Shelby's, Big Block's, Boss's, Pantera's, Saleen's, Roush's, Cobra's. Lightning's etc, mostly collector models, and rarely see a vehicle (of ANY type) kept in this condition. This is the perfect tow vehicle for your collector car or RV. It tows like there is nothing behind it. Suspension is smooth and not bouncy or twitchy when driving down the road, or on the freeway. Clutch, ball joints, and alignment done at 130K.! Only correct 15W-40 oil used. It has always been started up and allowed to get up to operating temperature every few weeks, then driven around the block to keep all seals lubricated and to keep everything in operating condition when not taken on long trips. Always warehoused. No power steering moan like most have. Nothing leaks, drips, or seeps. No warning lights illuminated on the cluster. Everything works as new. Nice stereo with CD player and does not skip. No sweat marks, stains, smells, fading etc on any exterior, or interior. It really looks, drives and feels like a few year old truck. All lights work. Over $7K in tasteful and functional upgrades....Sony detachable face stereo with remote, USB slot, Bluetooth (headliner mounted microphone) and CD player, 4 Sony 6X9 speakers, Viper alarm, trailer brake controller, rear airbags on leaf springs for heavy loads with bumper mounted valve stems to level load, boost and exhaust temperature pillar mounted gauges, tinted windows, chrome Eagle lightweight forged aluminum wheels, aftermarket stainless steel free flowing exhaust, diamond plate tool box/bedrails, stainless steel running boards/wheel well moldings, custom hand painted pinstriping (can be buffed off if you don't like it), heavy duty rear mudflaps, and Line X spray on bedliner. ALL ELSE STOCK!! NEVER HAD A TUNER OR AIR INTAKE INSTALLED ON IT!! It starts the first time, EVERY time. Brake controller and rear air bag suspension added to make any trailer you tow work like there is nothing behind you. Original seat belts are not hard as a rock like most and still supple with original silk screening that still looks new. All retractors work properly too. You simply can NOT find one like this, for the money!!! This is a one in a million truck, hands down. Many of the low 135K miles were from towing this behind a motorhome (still has front hitch installed). Unlike automatic transmissions, you can tow this behind your motorhome too with out removing the driveshaft!! Again, pay a little more that the junk out there and get a LOT more!!  Underside, cleaned frequently since new as is the exterior and interior. Original spare (never been used and still has original silk-screening on the tread), jack, tire iron, and mounting hardware all original, never used and look new with original stickers. Just look at the pictures, they really explain this truck, hands down, better than I can. This truck is very nice for the price. No accidents, no issues, no leaks, no odd smells, no vibrations. Many 7.3's with more miles and not near as clean and pride of ownership have sold in the past 6 months for close to, the same as, and more than I am asking for as my BUY IT NOW. I priced this to sell quick. A/C ice cold. Heat hot. Brakes and suspension like new. No gear noise, slips, grinds, or issues. Care has always been taken with this truck, which is very evident in the pictures. Ice cold A/C as stated before. Does not run hot when A/C is on. Belt does not moan or squeal like some do with the AC on. Does not overheat even in 110+ degree weather. Coolant changed every 2 years with proper Ford Motorcraft green coolant, distilled water, and Ford diesel additive even when driven little. No exhaust leaks. Sounds fantastic with absolutely no odd noises or issues! Truck has never had an aftermarket tune installed or been beat on like most. Even air intake is stock and original. Has no problems starting in cold weather either. It is very powerful and sounds great. Most of these trucks don't drive as good as they look, this one absolutely does! It is more powerful than most of the 7.3's I have driven and very tight. It does not wander and tracks down the road very well, smoothly, and quietly. I have owned 19 Super Duty 7.3 Powerstroke diesels over the years, and unfortunately 3 6.0 and 6.4's, 2 V10's (horrible engines!!), and quite a few Lightnings, and this truck runs, sounds and drives better than most of them, honestly, plus doesn't cost a fortune to maintain like the newer diesels. It is simple and easy to maintain and does not have tons of sensors like the new ones that go out and are very expensive to replace. Comes from the factory with no catalytic converter, no diesel particulate filter, and all the other power robbing, expensive to maintain items on the 03.5+ diesels!! You are basically looking at a near new truck for 1/4 the price (comparable truck actually $75K+ for a new junk diesel, and no manual transmission available!!) of a comparable new one with out all the issues of the new ones.  Truck is meant to be driven and enjoyed. It drives and tows VERY well. No hesitations, back-fires, pops, squeaks, and is not all over the road like most others for sale. Looks, drives and feels like a newer truck. You will not find a nicer 7.3 Powerstroke with a manual transmission for the money!! The suspension is responsive and tight, steering is tight, and transmission is tight with no slippage or grinds. Never has a tuner on it and never towed anything other than a 5500 lb travel trailer a handful of times. Brakes are adjusted properly, and it stops very well and straight. Does not wander, shimmy, or have wind noise, even at 85 MPH on the freeway. There is not a nicer, low mileage, best year 7.3 Powerstroke out there for this low of a price anywhere! Never abused and was never a daily driver (even when new it has been a multiple owned vehicle). All work has been professionally done on this truck since new. Has been garaged its whole life and babied. It is very powerful, reliable, and nothing has been overlooked for longevity, tastefulness, and durability. Both original keys/ alarm remotes and tool box key. 2000 was the last year of the forged engine connecting rods too. You won't find a nicer truck for the price, anywhere. If you are still reading, Thank you, you are the one that will probably buy this truck, so keep reading... :) You are better off getting one of these trucks that have been driven, properly broken in, and properly maintained than one with super low miles that has not been properly stored or has dried up seals because of incorrect storage and maintenance. Nothing leaks or seeps on this truck (even rear main seal doesn't seep) and it burns no oil. Starts right up, first time, every time. Idles smoothly with nice deep exhaust tone. No hesitations. Very smooth power. Gets great MPG too, 18+ MPG in town, and 25+ MPG on the freeway driving easy. Brakes front and rear are firm and are power assisted 4 wheel discs. Power assist works as it should. No shimmies, squeaks, or pulls when you step on the brakes. Parking brake works perfect. Fresh Motorcraft 75-140 synthetic fluid with friction modifier in differential. U joints tight (replaced at 130K when clutch and ball joints done, all of which done due to time, not because any of it was really needed).  Transmission fluid also just done and look like new inside. Both cooling system green coolant and distilled water/Ford additive new. Brake fluid also flushed and refreshed and when brakes were inspected recently, they were still at over 80%. As I said before, ALL fluids and filters have always been changed well before needed and in reality, this truck has been over-maintained!! Ashtray and cigarette lighter never used, not even for coins or junk to mar the ashtray! Cup holder is not broken like most and pops out of dash correctly. No rattles or wind noise!! Truck will seat 5 comfortably and rear seat back folds up for extra storage in the cab. I know I keep saying it, you will not find a nicer 7.3 for the money!! Look at the undersides on others for sale (if they even have underside pictures) they are usually rusty, oily, and filthy ( and sometimes people even spray can them all over the hoses, bolts and floor pans!!!), interiors worn and dirty, worn seats, beat up beds, and the engine boxes look awful with all aluminum corroded etc etc. Please take the time to look at my 100+ pictures and you will see the difference between this truck and the others out there for sale. You DO get what you pay for in this case!!  Amazingly clean from top to bottom. No surprises or disappointments with this truck. Original Oxford white clearcoat paint shines like new and has been waxed regularly and always garaged. Much more durable than today's water base paints. Look at the reflections. Never been put on a lift incorrectly, never been bottomed out. Door jambs, engine box, wheels, underside, and bed also kept clean and waxed. Look at the underside and frame rails. Many original markings still present along with several original stickers. Never a bent body panel, floor pan, or frame rail. All original Ford Carlite tinted privacy glass including windshield which has no chips or cracks. No dents, or large scratches anywhere on the body.  There are no dents, or repairs on the body, just a few dings and paint clearcoat issues in a few spots as shown in the pictures. Looks and drives like a 20K mile truck. The truck is nicer, drives much better, and way better maintained and kept detailed over any other 7.3 out there in this price range. Again, please take the time to look at the 100+ detailed pictures. Truck is very clean through out and a thrill to drive. More reliable and durable than all the new diesels out there with out all the maintenance nightmares of the new ones. No automatic transmission to worry about going out. Google the 7.3 Powerstroke and you will see that they are considered the BEST diesel ever put in a truck! I know these 7.3's well as I have owned quite a few over the years. Look at the others out there for sale, they don't compare to this one at all. You get what you pay for.  Ask questions if you have them if you are serious, I am very easy to deal with.  Truck is VERY clean top to bottom. Horn, power windows, and power locks work perfect. Sony stereo and speakers sounds great. All lighting in cluster and on switches works perfect. All power options work perfect. Power windows smoothly glide up and down smoothly with no clunks or skips. Power door locks work like they should. 2 keys and 2 remotes. No wind noise or leaks when truck is washed. Doors close tightly. Speedometer works perfect and doesn't bounce or stick like most. All gauges work perfectly and are accurate. All lights work both interior and exterior. Truck just turned 135K miles, which is just breaking in for a well maintained 7.3. Many of the miles on this truck were from being towed behind a motorhome too, where truck was not under its own power, but miles kept accruing as all 4 wheels were on the ground. Last oil change done a month ago. E load rated 10 ply tires have plenty of life left ( I'd say about 50%) and are Goodyears. These 7.3 Powerstrokes are well known to be the best diesel ever installed in a truck and are often called the "million mile motor''. With proper maintenance there are quite a few out there with even more than than 1 million miles!! Ford has not been able to produce a diesel since even close to a 7.3, and the others (Dodge and GM) may have OK diesel engines, the trucks that the engines were in can't seem to stay together!! All lock cylinders are original to the truck and work smoothly with no binds. Look at how well all the body panels and windows line up!! All original trim, weatherstrips, lights and emblems are in nice condition and not faded or deteriorating like most others. This is not a clean up and sell, everything is as correct as possible and has been since new. Care, thought, a huge amount of time, passion, and attention to detail is present on every aspect of this truck and has always been babied, detailed frequently, and waxed often. Always kept indoors when not in use. Very hard to find combo too, with the long bed, 6 speed manual transmission, and supercab , so it's perfect for hauling things while still easy to park and maneuver while taking the whole family not only in comfort, but know you will get there. Truck is available for inspection and can be driven or shipped anywhere. Out of country buyers welcome too, if you arrange shipping from the Long Beach Port. I can have the truck delivered to the Long Beach Port, included with BUY IT NOW. Clear, OR title in hand. Previous owners were snow birds and came to Palm Springs, CA before each winter with this truck. I have used several reputable shipping companies that are insured and bonded over the years with no issues, and will be happy to arrange for a serious buyer with BUY IT NOW at your expense, or you can fly in and drive it home and enjoy a little vacation. Don't wait, once this truck is scooped up, it is gone and you will never find another like it!! I am very familiar with the 7.3 Powerstroke market. Many have sold in the mid to high 20's in the last 6 months,  not as clean as this one with not the attention to detail, highly descriptive listing such as mine, or underside shots. I am confident this truck will sell fast at this price. Every time someone uses BUY IT NOW when not even talking to me first, I ask them why? The answer is usually " your long, detailed description, and the underside shots!" I want people knowing exactly what the are getting, so I spend the time to describe everything I can think of to eliminate any unsure-ness. I have never had a person buy a vehicle from me sight unseen that has not been more than happy with their purchase. My 100% Positive feedback on eBay clearly shows people are very happy with what I sell. If you have a question or any doubt, feel free to message me... Please email me with phone # and I will call you with any info you're requesting. I am not interested in any trades or people that want to sell this truck for me. Truck is tight with no rattles, leaks, etc. The underside is as clean as the the rest of the truck and still has all the original markings, line codes, inspection marks, stickers, etc.. The pictures speak for themselves. Please allow the time for the 100+ pictures to load, scroll down, and enjoy!! This is a beautiful truck and PERFECTLY balanced as far as looks, safety, economy, handling, braking, comfort, reliability, sound, and performance!! Re-live your childhood with something you didn't have the means to buy new or replace one you used to own, or add another to your collection of other worthwhile vehicles. Bed is not banged up like most. Look at the moldings, bed and trim ...when is the last time you saw everything as clean such as this?? This is the most balanced truck you will ever drive. Transmission is smooth as silk with no grinds or slips so there is no worry of issues with it like the others out there. Truck is very easy to drive. It is much more solid feeling than the newer trucks, easy to maneuver and park, more comfortable, and does not have all the sensors, particulate filters, and maintenance of the new diesels. You will not find a nicer one for the money that is this nice and to this caliber of detail and pride of ownership! These 7.3 Powerstroke's are very hard to find in nice shape as most were used as work trucks, or driven in salty, rust belt areas and are all rusted up.   Any questions, please message me and I will respond promptly. This is a like to sell, not a must sell, or a desperation sale!! I price things fairly and on a Buy It Now, so there is no haggling back and forth or dealing with bidders that don't pay. I have 30+ high end vehicles in my collection that are not for sale, so it is not the end of the world if this does not sell. Most are $100K+ in my collection. If I can make some extra space in my warehouses, great, if not, I will keep it as I do love the truck and it tows like there is nothing behind it. I did a Buy It Now, so you don't have to bid an and wait, and hope to get it. Outright price for this truck is $14,900 if Buy It Now is used, and I know it will sell for that. Don't wait for someone else to use Buy It Now and miss it!!  No taxes collected by me or any document fees like others charge. I choose to do Buy It Now, fixed price auctions over regular bid auctions because many people put on their watch list, then forget to bid at the last minute, then are upset that they missed it. Don't miss this one, you will never find another like it!! Again, I am VERY picky. Deposit of $500 must be made immediately thru Paypal upon the use of BUY IT NOW and remaining balance due with in 3 days of winning auction. Any questions and/or inspections if wanted must be made BEFORE using BUY IT NOW. Please do not use Buy It Now unless you already have the money. If you need a loan, have it set up and approved first. You are welcome and encouraged to come and inspect the truck or send someone to look at it before buying. I am not a dealer, so no sales tax will be collected by me. Truck is sold as is with no warranty by me expressed or implied. Shipping must be arranged by the buyer from Palm Springs, CA 92262 or I can help arrange for serious buyers, or you are welcome to fly into Palm Springs International Airport and I will pick you up, and you can drive the truck home. Must be paid for in full with in 3 days. I have clear OR title in hand. I work with several shipping companies that offer very reasonable transport too. Truck will not leave and title will not be sent until truck is paid in full (and cleared) with either cash upon pick-up, direct deposit, loan check, or cashier's check/money order. Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer promptly. Check my feedback, I have sold several very high dollar ($200k+) vehicles on eBay over the years with no problems and have a 2400+ positive feedback score and am not only a PS, but a TRS. Less than 1% of sellers have achieved this status selling on eBay, so you can trust how I describe what I am selling by the feedback I have received by those that have purchased from me that give me these ratings. I have never had a person get a vehicle from me sight unseen that was not thrilled with their purchase!! I reserve the right to end this auction early as the truck is advertised on several other sites and publications, so if you want it, use BUY IT NOW before someone else buys it. If you can not meet these simple requirements, please do not use Buy It Now and waste your time, mine, and others that are serious. If you need more time or have questions about payment, please feel free to message me with your phone # and we can discuss. I am VERY picky with vehicles I own. Again, I have 30+ vehicles and none are a must sell, just trying to free up some space as I can barely walk in my warehouses they are so full. I am not interested in magazine coverage, picture collectors, or time wasters that just want to come and look at my collection. I am not losing any of my houses, or desperate in any way.  In summary: EVERYTHING works!! No burnt out bulbs anywhere, even the back-up lights, and dash lights This F250 runs and drives excellent and has never been abused. There are no odd odors, odd rattles, or odd noises. You can drive this truck anywhere. Mileage may also vary minimally as truck may be driven for test drives and/or inspections and I do drive it sometimes. Please feel free to ask questions and I will answer promptly. This is not your average $10K 7.3 truck that you can find that needs $10K+ worth of work and still won't be as nice as this one. This F-250 is a no excuse, honest truck, that needs nothing. It will only continue to go up in value if kept in this condition. Vehicles such as this from my experience are a much more solid investment than the stock market. Clean 7.3 Powerstrokes have been going UP in value due to all the terrible new diesels out there now. The nice ones have gone up 60% in the last 6 months. People consider the 7.3 Powerstroke to be the best diesel ever installed in a truck in the history of trucks!! The nice ones will keep going up in value when in the condition and desirability of this one. Remember, you get what you pay for, this truck does not need ANYTHING!! The paint and color combination is simply stunning and the options make it a pleasure to drive and it turns heads where ever you go. No excuses, issues, or stories. Have a great day and thank you for looking and (hopefully) reading my long description..I just want to be thorough. Check out my 2 other 7.3' s I have listed too...one with 155.5 original miles and the other with 46K miles and a few of my other toys. Each time I think of something else, I revise the listing, add more pictures, and before I know it, it ends up this long!! Very few read what I end up writing, but if you have, thank you!! Feel free to contact me with any questions, or even to tell me you read the whole thing!!! I don't intend to write a novel, I just want a serious person to know exactly back to front, what they are getting. Have a great day. :) Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. Vehicle Review Vehicle Information ?Overview ?Introduction ?Walkaround ?Driving Impression ?Interior ?Summary New engines, more models. The 2012 Ford F-150 pickup truck manages to combine versatility, great fuel economy and dependability while offering several unique trims, cab styles and pickup box lengths. The F-150 is available in several distinctive trims. These include the XL, STX, XLT, FX2/FX4, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and the Harley Davidson. For the off-road extremist, the segment exclusive SVT Raptor is available and delivers both outstanding off-road capabilities and daily use characteristics. Four engine choices are offered and each is mated to a fuel efficient 6-speed automatic transmission equipped with a tow haul mode. Two powerful V6 engines are available and they consist of a 4-valve, DOHC aluminum block 302-hp 3.7-liter and a 365-hp 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that incorporates direct fuel injection and twin turbochargers to deliver considerable power and towing prowess while being very fuel efficient. Two V8 engines that are available include a 4-valve DOHC 360-hp 5.0-liter and a 2-valve SOHC 411-hp 6.2-liter and both V8 engines deliver impressive towing capabilities. Safety features include four-wheel ABS disc brakes, electronic traction and stability control, front and side airbags and the Safety Canopy side curtain airbags. The F-150 offers a 4x2 or a 4x4 drive system, three cab styles, three pickup box lengths and several useful individual options and option packages. Available Ford exclusive features include SYNC, MyKey, SecuriLock, SecuriCode, SelectShift, retractable pickup box side steps, a tailgate step, and innovative Ford Work Solution options. For 2012, the Lariat Limited trim has been discontinued. All 4x4 models have some transfer case upgrades as electronic shift-on-the-fly replaces the manual shifter while the Lariat trim and above now come standard with a torque on demand AWD system. New 4-way adjustable headrests are standard on all but the XL trim and a convenient trailer brake controller comes standard on the Harley Davidson trim. Source: Model Reviews Introduction Smooth and quiet, the Ford F-150 is comfortable on bumpy streets around town, over rugged terrain at construction sites, around farms and over utility roads, and on the open highway. Its steering is nicely weighted and requires little correction on the highway making it nice for long cross-country tows. The cabs are comfortable, whether ordered with leather or cloth. The 2012 Ford F-150 lineup offers a plethora of models in dozens of permutations. All are highly capable trucks, even those loaded with luxury features. The F-150 was completely redesigned for 2009. For 2011, the F-150 received a new engine lineup and electric-assist steering on all but 6.2-powered Crew Cabs. For 2012, the Lariat Limited model is no longer offered, but one of the nine F-150 versions should be close enough. A new FX appearance package is for 2012 F-150 FX2 and FX4 models that includes 20-inch wheels and lots of flat-black trim inside and out. The FX Luxury package adds cooling to the heatable front seats. Other noteworthy changes include electric shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive for 2012 F-150 XL up to Lariat models, while 2012 F-150 Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum offer a 4x4 auto mode that requires no driver action and hill start assist. All 2012 F-150 4WD models can now be flat-towed behind another vehicle, like a motorhome or larger construction truck. And a new locking rear differential for 2012 is offered on more axle ratios and 2WD models than the old limited-slip was. The F-150 lineup runs the gamut from wash-off vinyl flooring and a two-door Regular Cab to leather-lined premium four-door models with as much rear-seat legroom as the front of most luxury sedans: Within those extremes lies something for everyone. Yet even the least-expensive F-150 isn't boring; it leaves room for customization, does the work required, and keeps overhead down. With one of the deepest beds in the segment, the F-150 has generous cargo volume out back and a maximum payload rating of 3,060 pounds; most versions carry 1,550-2,100 pounds. Any cab model F-150 can be optioned to tow more than 11,000 pounds; the range varies from 5,500-11,300 pounds. (The Ford Super Duty line of heavy-duty pickups is covered in a separate New Car Test Drive review.) Two V8 and two V6 engines are offered, all with 6-speed automatic transmissions. Standard on 2WD is a 302-hp 3.7-liter V6. Other choices include a 360-hp 5-liter V8, the only engine offered on every cab/bed combination, a 411-hp 6.2-liter V8 on SuperCrew short beds, and a 365-hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 on all but regular cab short beds. Each engine except the 6.2 offers multiple axle ratios. Many years the best-selling pickup, the F-150's had a target on it for those same years. So it has to stay competitive: The standard V6 is more powerful than any other pickup V6 and the same horsepower as Chevy's 1.1-liter-larger V8; the 6.2 offered in Crew Cabs and Raptor is more powerful than any half-ton pickup engine; it's the only pickup that comes with a 6-speed automatic in every model. And its maximum payload and weight ratings are competitive in a world where numbers and rankings often change monthly. Like any full-size pickup, the key to an F-150 is assessing your needs accurately and choosing the best one among all the permutations. Also like any pickup, remember that maximum payload and maximum trailer weight don't go together, are available only on a few of the 50-plus versions, and often decline as soon as you check an option box other than paint or aluminum wheels. Also remember the EPA ratings are only that, for empty trucks, and you are moving around at least 5,000 pounds. Do that, and you should be quite happy with any F-150. Source: New Car Test Drive Walkaround The angular lines of the Ford F-150 mean it's easier to clean, easier to park, and gives maximum inside volume for outside space. Some bulge to the hood and large grille openings imply power, as does the higher altitude of 4WD models; many models have big graphics to ensure everyone knows what it is. The F-150 is easily recognized by substantial blue ovals, stepped front window ledge, and the tall bed. The front door edge that allows a lower glass line at the front is stylish but also very useful; it allows a better view of front quarters near the truck and means you can have a good-sized mirror that doesn't limit forward vision because you look over it rather than around it. The view rearward can be aided by extendable towing mirrors, a rear camera, and a power sliding rear window. We found the towing mirrors work very well. Pillars between the doors (called B-pillars) and the rear hand-hold on the pillar may yield an awkward blind spot for some drivers, but everyone should appreciate the windshield pillars (A-pillars) shaped to help preserve forward vision. Relatively square shoulders on the hood make it easy to see the edges of the truck, a bonus for tight parking lots, plow operators, and squeezing between trees or rocks en route to outdoor recreation. With all beds you can get a locking tailgate and tie-down points. On many models you also get a bed extender and tailgate step (rated 300 pounds); the tailgate step makes stepping into the bed easier but it makes the tailgate feel heavier than some petite drivers will want to open or close. Some models offer a box-side step rated at 500 pounds; a pop-out, under-bed step behind the cab, but we needed considerable effort to return it and wonder how it will work after grounding on a rocky trail, having mud or snow thrown at it, or in freezing weather. Refueling is done with Ford's capless filler system so you will never lose another gas cap. Most F-150 models have Ford's family-face horizontal three-bar aspect to the grille and the tailgate styling; the larger grille, squared headlights and more heavily contoured hood all add to the imposing size, though it isn't as imposing as Dodge's forward-leaning grille setup. On higher-level models the chrome is considerable, and extends to the front tow loops on 4WD. The FX model has a multi-ribbed grille, blacked-out trim, plenty of decals and real truck tires if you choose the 17-inch off-road tire option. The chassis on 4WD models doesn't have anything mounted much lower than the frame rails, but if you intend to use four-wheel drive for anything more than snow or muddy roads the skid plate package should be considered. The FX appearance package's flat-black 20-inch wheels have contemporary style, but we find them far more apropos the FX2 than the FX4. Models with the heavy-duty payload package come with 17-inch wheels with seven bolts holding each on. More attachment points are frequently used as truck weight increases but 7 bolts is an uncommon pattern and may limit your choice in aftermarket or replacement wheels. Source: New Car Test Drive Driving Impression The Ford F-150 is among the heavier trucks in its class, contributing to a solid feel and none of that empty metal box bang-and-clang that characterized pickups of old. There's an impression of substance and tight construction regardless of the road surface or the model. What stands out most driving the F-150 is the relative refinement. Ford attributes much of this to the Quiet Steel laminate used in some body panels. The standard F-150 engine is a 3.7-liter V6 with contemporary technology like variable timing for the four cams and four valves per cylinder. This engine was in service in front-drive platforms and the new Mustang before it came to F-150, so it's not unproven. In the F-150 it's rated at 302 hp at 6500 rpm and 278 lb-ft at 4250 rpm, just 8 hp less than the 2010's biggest engine. You have to get the revs up to get the best work from it but the transmission is well calibrated, so it's a realistic choice where cost or fuel economy are paramount and work is limited to relatively light towing or hauling on fairly level ground. Also adapted from the Mustang but not revving as fast in the truck application is the 5-liter V8 of 360 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, more than GM's 4.8 and 5.3, Ram's 4.7, Titan's 5.6 and Tundra's 4.6; the Ram Hemi and Tundra 5.7 rate higher power. The highest-payload F-150s use this workhorse, it can tow up to 10,000 pounds, and it sounds like a muscle-car, more authoritative than even the 6.2-liter. The 6.2 debuted in the SuperDuty pickups, that's why it's the only iron-block engine (and hydraulic steering assist) in the line. In F-150 applications it rates 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque at 4500 rpm, the most powerful half-ton pickup engine, but is available only in short-bed SuperCrew trucks and the Raptor. GM's 6.2 is rated slightly lower and also limited to certain configurations. The most impressive engine choice is the twin-turbocharged, direct injection EcoBoost 3.5-liter V6. Horsepower is 365 and torque is 420 lb-ft at a nice low 2500 rpm so unless you need the rumble of a V8 it's by far the best combo of performance and economy. There is no lag waiting for power to come up, it's the quietest engine with just a hint of whistle at moderate throttle (talk-radio would mask it), its at-altitude performance will be better than the others and it often carries more than 6.2 V8 trucks because the engine is lighter. You can't use boost and get good economy at the same time, but you can have both to work with in the same truck. The only negatives are it costs more than the 3.7 or 5.0 and it's grunt sometimes overwhelms rear traction when towing resulting in axle-tramp, a rough up-and-down motion of the rear axle until traction control intervenes or the driver lifts off the throttle. On 4x4 models it comes with a 36-gallon fuel tank but 4x2 are limited to a 26-gallon tank. The 6-speed automatic works smoothly, and is not overly anxious to get into that fuel-saving top gear as soon as possible; engaging Tow/Haul mode will stretch out the shift points, not require a mat-flattening mash of the pedal to affect a downshift and provide some engine braking on descents. The F-150 has a fully boxed frame, which is quite stiff and resistant to both bending and twist. The front suspension is a dual ball-joint design pioneered and still used by BMW and found on the Expedition sport-utility, while the rear suspension has long leaf springs and outboard shocks. Electric-assist steering is used on all F-150 except those with the 6.2 V8. It makes for lighter effort at low speeds, better weighting at road speeds, never loses assist in extensive maneuvering as when backing a trailer, and is programmed to reduce fatigue from crowned roads or crosswinds. It should simplify engine service, requires no service of its own, and can add up to 4 percent in highway fuel economy. However, the electric-assist steering is not rated for snow plowing, and the hydraulic-steering 6.2 V8 is only in Crew Cabs also not recommended for plowing. The sheer mass of the F-150 combines with the suspension to deliver a very good ride (by pickup standards) and quiet composure. Sure, it will skip on bumpy corners and move around over dry wash scrabble at speed but it doesn't get upset or noisy. Longer wheelbases will bob or pogo-stick on some expansion joints and expressway surfaces but it never becomes fatiguing. As is often the case, the standard-size wheels produce better ride quality and less road noise than the 20- and 22-inch packages. Brakes get the job done with their ultimate performance based as much on tire choice and weight in the bed as anything else. Electronic stability control and anti-lock brakes are standard across the board. A locking rear differential is optional for the best traction and available even on some 2WD models, and in many cases the suspension tuning on an FX produces the best ride quality over marginal roads and city potholes. Some of the factors that aid visibility also hinder it. The high stance of a pickup is good for more distant views but hides things behind the tall tailgate and this is a wide piece of equipment. Extendable towing mirrors include a flat upper element and separately adjustable wide-angle element for a superb view rearward and safe towing but they are big and will be easily smacked off if you forget they're extended or don't leave space for that motorcyclist. The rearview camera is good for the view behind the tall tailgate and on the navigation screen has colored lines to indicate the width of the truck and centerline for hitching a trailer; however, this display is not predictive and does not move the colored lines with the steering wheel so it applies only in straight reversing. Rear park sensors also aid maneuvering in tight quarters, raising the frequency of audible beeps as you move closer. You'll want to turn that off when backing up to a trailer or in other situations, but that involves going through a couple of menus on the information screen, more tedious than the simple defeat buttons used by Toyota and others. The payload rating for the F-150 models varies from about 1,560 pounds to 3,060, but that includes occupants other than the driver. A construction crew of four 200-pounders in a SuperCrew might have just 700 pounds of rated capacity left for tools and materials. The highest gross combined rating (truck, trailer, cargo, passengers) for any F-150 is 17,100 pounds and these pickups are among the heaviest half-tons. Maximum tow ratings for most F-150 cabs range from 11,000-11,300 pounds. These highest ratings are similar to the Ram 1500 HD which uses heavy-duty components including stronger (but more common 8-bolt on the Ram) wheels. Remember these maximums apply to an unloaded pickup; if you foresee towing more than 7000-8000 pounds behind a loaded F-150 you should consider stepping up to Super Duty. The integrated trailer brake controller option is the ideal choice for smooth braking. We've tested it and it works much better than aftermarket systems. But verify that the integrated controller will work with the brakes on your trailer; some electro-hydraulic trailer systems are not compatible. Source: New Car Test Drive Interior Ford has all bases covered inside the F-150, with plenty of patterns, textures and finishes, and the choice of a 40/20/40 split-bench front seat or captain's chairs in many models. On those trucks with a bench seat, the middle passenger should be of a smaller size for both knee clearance and the narrow space between seat and belt brackets. Mindful that you can't have everything for $23,000, the basic XL is quite respectable and a good value given a single option tab on a bigger pickup can be nearly half the XL's purchase price. Fleet drivers will appreciate that air conditioning is standard and the truck is quieter and more refined, in part due to a smoother 60-degree V6 and not one derived from a 90-degree V8. At the other end of the spectrum, the Platinum is like a Lincoln Navigator with a pickup bed. The King Ranch chairs may look like a fine saddle (and require the same maintenance in some climes), but you'll want to ensure the jeans are clean and spurs off before you climb into this cowboy clubhouse. Virtually everything you might need is either standard or available, and much the same degree of luxury in a more subdued style can be found in Lariats, which follow a more eclectic approach to decor and make one wonder if seven colors and surface textures on a rear door alone might be one or two too many. The speaker grilles on high-line models that look like metal really are (with the three horizontal bar theme molded in), and in some cases the trim is real brushed aluminum. The wood is faux but well done, perhaps to save trees. The front bench is still split three ways: The center section flips down to reveal a console with storage and cup holders. The console is flat, so you can put a clipboard on top of it and it won't slide off until you stop, start or change direction quickly. Captain's chairs on FX and Lariat models, especially with power adjustment and the optional adjustable pedals (the switch is often hidden on the steering column), provide good driver positioning for virtually everyone. We found the seats didn't suffer from our earlier criticisms of lacking thigh support and aggressively tilted headrests. Front and rear-seat room is very good; the SuperCrew's rear is a vast, spacious area for three adults with a flat floor all the way across and full roll-down windows. On the down side, it could take a while to heat up or cool off in climate extremes, and the floor mats cover only a third of the carpet by our tape measure. The rear seat cushions lift up to stow vertically, with four grocery bag hooks on the underside of the wider driver-side seat and, if equipped, the subwoofer for the Sony sound system under the right rear seat; rear cabin storage seats-up amounts to nearly 58 cubic feet. With captain's chairs up front there are vents in the back of the center console. There are three tethers and two anchor sets for baby seats, outboard rear headrests raise enough to protect tall passengers, and a smaller center rear headrest to preserve vision for those who use the window; you can also get a power sliding window with defrost. We sampled a couple of trims, one with bucket seats and white-stitched black leather, the other a 40/20/40 bench in tan leather; the lighter color interior looked richer, but also busier since it had dual colors for the dashboard where the black truck didn't. Either seat is comfortable, the advantage of the bucket being goodies like heating/cooling on higher trim models. Most of the touch points on Lariat felt good, with a sort of rubberized texture to the door armrests, but there is still plenty of hard plastic in pillar covers and lower doors to ease cleaning. The cloth upholstery in the STX feels comfortable and durable; in temperature extremes we'd prefer it to the leather on upper trims. Apart from seat coverings and the steering wheel, the STX doesn't feel budget conscious. All models use the same basic dash layout, with tachometer to left (no marked redline), speedometer to right, and oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel and transmission fluid temperature lined up between. On lower-level models the gauges are more traditional white-on-black and, on higher-line models, silver faces with dark numbers that light up green and are often easier to read at night than in daylight. The ancillary gauges are quite lethargic so you need to heed warning lights even if a gauge doesn't quite agree. The new central screen provides a wider array of information called up by a thumb-switch on the steering wheel, including but not limited to transmission fluid temperature, fuel economy/range, gear selected, trailer profiles, and tire pressures. Trucks with the Sony navigation/audio system have arguably simpler controls than those without it by virtue of the voice command, logical operation and system integration. Trucks without that option aren't bad, but even on some lesser trims we found plenty of white-on-black buttons on the center panel which could require some familiarization. Window switches are all lift-to-close but the power door lock bar is horizontal so if Rover puts his paw on the right part of the switch you could get locked out. Bench seat models use a column-mounted shift lever, while most bucket seat models use a bigger console shift lever, both with a Tow/Haul mode. The floor-shift requires a button-push from D to N as you might at a long light or rail crossing, and the column-shift has a light detent so it's easy to go one-to-two gears too far. Manual gear selection requires engaging the M position and using a +/- thumb toggle to change, like GM's approach, but Dodge's layout is simpler and just as effective. Liberal chrome on the console can produce some distracting glare. Headlights are to the left, four-wheel drive and the integrated trailer brake controller are to the right; the power adjustable pedal switch on the left side of the steering column is harder to find than dash switches but does keep you from leaning forward while trying to adjust your driving position. Four round omni-directional vents ensure airflow where you want it, front seatbelt anchors are height-adjustable, and our only ergonomic complaint was the lack of a sun visor that covered the length of the side glass. The Sony navigation/sound system and Ford's SYNC system bring infotainment to a new level, integrating Bluetooth-enabled devices, 911 Assist, Vehicle Health report, Sirius travel link with real-time traffic, weather, 4500 movie theater listings and show times and 120 gas stations with fuel prices. Power points, a USB port and MP3 input jack are in the lower center dash. The Sony 700-watt 5.1 channel sound system provides very good sonic quality, even if the impact didn't feel like 700 watts. It has the usual assortment of graphics nonsense like the oxymoronic-titled audio visualizer, which we could live without. Pickups without space are pointless and the F-150 won't disappoint. The Regular Cab is roomy enough to fit three adults across and has plenty of space for the miscellaneous debris and detritus that tends to accumulate in trucks. SuperCabs have a full-width back seat best-suited to kids and short rides for bigger adults since legroom is the squeeze point; it's similar in size and intent to the Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra extended cab or the Titan King Cab. For larger families or routine four-passenger service, the SuperCrew's room and regular back doors will be welcome, with as many as 30 different places to put things. Source: New Car Test Drive Summary The Ford F-150 delivers a strong combination of style, interior comfort, performance, ride and hauling ability. The new engine lineup moves Ford from follower to leader in power and alternatives. With multiple choices in trim, drivetrains and body styles, there's an F-150 for every type of pickup owner. 200 PICTURES, INCLUDING IMMACULATE, RUST FREE UNDERSIDE BELOW DESCRIPTION. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ FULL DESCRIPTION AND LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES IF SERIOUS!!!  YOU WILL NOT FIND A NICER, BETTER MAINTAINED, IMMACULATE, NEEDS NOTHING 7.3 POWERSTROKE 4X4 FOR THE MONEY!! In the past few months I have sold several very clean, low mileage 7.3 Powerstroke trucks here on Ebay, so I am very familiar with the current market for immaculate ones. Most you will find for less, will not be anywhere close to what I choose to deal with. If you look at my completed listings you will see I have sold a 2003 7.3 4X4 XLT for $29,900, a 2002 7.3 2WD XLT for $21,900, a 2000 7.3 2WD XL for $13,900, a 2002 7.3 4X4 XLT for $22,900, and a 2001 7.3 2WD Lariat for $23,900. The immaculate, well cared for 7.3's are very desirable and hard to find, and are getting harder and harder every day!!  This one has had 2 mature owner's since new. 1st owner special ordered this truck with the unique options you see.  Look at the other's available....any underside pictures? A thorough, detailed description?  Has the 3 quarts of injector oil been changed frequently? (99 out of 100 7.3's it has never been changed, which is what ruins the expensive injectors!!), has the proper coolant been used and drained from the block as well as the radiator and reservoir?  You get what you pay for.... this truck needs nothing and everything has always been done before needed as preventative maintenance, rather than because truck needed it, and done properly. Oil is clear, coolant has been done every 2 years with proper gold coolant, distilled water, and Ford SCA additive. This is a no worry truck, unlike the others out there.  Buy It Now for $29,900 to sell immediately. Whom ever hits Buy it Now, get this beautiful, needs nothing 7.3 4x4 Powerstroke!! The well maintained, low mileage 7.3's are getting harder and harder to find, don't miss out on this one, and regret it later.  First of all, thank you for viewing my auction. After being disappointed by all the ratty other 7.3 Power Stroke trucks out there and looking at this one, please feel free to message me. This is a 21 day auction and it will sell and you will not find another like it. Most of my 7.3 Power Strokes end up selling before listing ends due to time. Whomever hits Buy It Now gets it immediately!! No bidding and waiting, no back and forth negotiating, no games, no documents fees or taxes collected by me. Don't miss out, this truck will sell, hopefully to you. This truck is an absolute cream puff and drives absolutely exceptional, and is excellent through out. 2 mature owner's since new, always in dry climates, and always garaged.  Only hand washed and waxed and it shows!! It looks, starts, runs, smells, and drives like new. Suspension is tight with no wandering or looseness, brakes like new, immaculate interior and underside. All maintenance items fresh. Never eaten in, spilled in or interior soiled, and even still smells like new interior! Seat covers and towels have covered the immaculate interior since new! No worn down seat cloth or foam here!!  No pets or children have ever been in it. There is not a nicer, 7.3 4WD Powerstroke available for this price, I can honestly say that, because there are none other like this truck. Any you find for less will have dents, leaks, scratches, banged up beds, and wear all over. Look around, you'll waste a great deal of time and then see what I am talking about. Yes, you can buy one of these for around $20K or less with more than 200K miles, or so, or from the rust belt, but they won't be anywhere close to this truck and still will not be a garaged, 2 owner, immaculately maintained and a well optioned truck like this one. If you want a project, please buy one, as this is not it. If you don't know the history of the 7.3 Power Stroke, please use Google. I get a kick out of people that message me saying they can get an 06 for what I am asking for my 7.3's. An 06 is a 6.0, I would not take another 6.0 if someone gave it to me. Again, use Google if you don't know about diesels, or the difference between gas and diesel trucks. I am not going to spend more time and space here explaining diesel vs. gas or how bad the other diesels are as it is well known and easily searchable if you don't personally already know. Nothing overlooked on this truck, There is plenty of junk out there if you want a cheapo that needs a huge amount of expensive work, but will never equate to a truck such as this that has been properly preserved and maintained. Buy one of the junkers, change the oil 5X after running it, and it still won't be clean and never will be. This one is clean and always has been, If you want a turn key truck that will do what you want it to, be reliable, very spacious and comfortable, needs nothing, basically like new, and a workhorse that keeps up with your rugged intensive labor you expect from it, you just found it. Pay a little more than the junk out there and get A LOT more. This is a perfect tow rig that is simple, inexpensive, and easy to maintain with out all the sensors and maintenance issues of the new ones!  I am both a PS and TRS on ebay, which less than 1% of seller are, and have a 99.5% positive feedback score, so have no worries. Read the comments in my feedback from others worldwide that have purchased 7.3's from me. I have never had a person buy one from me and not be more than happy. Please take the time to allow the 200+ detailed photos to load (scroll down and over for full pictures if they appear cut off), it IS WELL WORTH the wait, and PLEASE read the entire description before asking questions (I know it is long, but I wanted to cover all bases) If you are serious, I know you will read every word, and look at every picture in detail. This is the type of person I am looking for, for a quick and easy sale. I am very easy to deal with. Feel free to message me for my phone number and we can discuss every aspect of this amazing truck. This truck is priced for a quick sale to the discriminating enthusiast/collector that appreciates all the details, cleanliness, and correctness of a last full year 7.3 4X4 Powerstroke. Everything correct on this truck for both finish and function, so you don't have to do a thing. Ready to work or play. Perfect advertising vehicle for your business too and can even be a tax write-off while towing your boat, show car, trailer, camper, etc.!! Shipping available at buyer's expense by a licensed, bonded and insured auto transport company that I have used for years with no issues. It is less expensive to ship at this time of year than you'd think, or you are welcome to fly into the Palm Springs International Airport and I will pick you up and you can drive this gem home and enjoy a little vacation!! Price is a Buy it Now of $29,900 to sell immediately. If you don't wan't the Superglide 5th wheel attachment, deduct $1K.  No taxes, document fees, or games like other charge, collect, and play. This truck will sell, don't miss out, you will never find another like it in this condition, mileage, and all these options!! I am a full service shop very familiar with these trucks, especially the 7.3. You want something added, deleted, or changed? Not a problem. We can add anything your heart and wallet desires to make this exactly what you want and need for your exact use and price range!! I have other 7.3's Super Duty and Excursions available too for different price ranges. I am a dealer for many companies, specializing in 7.3 upgrades, and preventative maintenance items such as supplemental coolant, transmission, and oil bypass filters, larger transmission coolers, wheels, tires, shells, spray on bedliners, tonneau covers, grills, front ends, suspension packages, turbo upgrades, tuners, etc.   This is a 2002 F-250 4 Door Crew Cab, 6.5 foot Short Bed XLT (RARE AND MOST ASKED FOR COMBO!!!). Truck was special ordered, not sitting on dealership lot when new . It has only been driven by mature adults and never used as a work truck or beaten up. Bed never banged up and is original paint just like the rest of the truck and covered with a bedliner since new. Not even a dent in the inside of bed. All it has ever towed its whole life is a 7500lb 5th wheel by second owner since 2006 for a few vacations with his wife. 2nd owner purchased it in November of 2006 from a Ford dealer who took this in on trade from original owner (traded for a Ranger!!) who never even towed with this truck. 2nd owner is an ASE certified Master Tech whom maintained this truck to a "T" doing maintenance well beyond what was needed. His wife and him purchased a Class A Motorhome and no longer had a need for this truck.  Oil changes on time or before, or every six months, what ever came first. Transmission fluid, rear end fluid, power steering fluid, and Motorcraft gold coolant/distilled water and important Ford additive are all recent, as is the serpentine belt, all hoses (including heater hoses which are often overlooked), Motorcraft batteries, alternator, and hubs, etc. Many maintenance records and receipts come with the truck. Truck needs absolutely nothing. Nothing at ALL!!  Hop in and go anywhere!! It runs and drives perfect and has no leaks, seeps, drips, or issues. THE TRUCK FIRES UP EVERY TIME, FIRST TIME. THE GLOW PLUGS AND INJECTORS HAVE ALL BEEN TESTED AND ARE WORKING PERFECTLY. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO DRIVE THIS TRUCK ACROSS THE COUNTRY!! It is the nicest 7.3 4x4 available for the money. Why save a few dollars and buy someone else's problems?  This incredible F-250 truck has always been driven only on nice days since new and always garaged. All freeway miles and only on nice weather trips. Always garaged and pride of ownership and maintenance shows in every aspect of this truck! Never in the snow or salt. Never out the dry west. The truck from top to bottom is very clean which is very evident, including underside, door jambs, and engine box!! A machine buffer or machine car wash this truck has never seen. No faded lights, emblems, or trim, like all the others out there. Most have chalky weather beaten trim, emblems and mouldings, these are all like new. Original Ford carpeted floor mats are the heavy duty ones and look like new and have kept the carpet perfect and covered with towels when driven. Were all Scotchguarded often too. Not driven on gravel roads or in the mud. Underside alone speaks volumes about this truck. I own a high end Mustang shop that has been in business for 20+ years and am VERY particular with all vehicles I choose to deal with. Truck has never been abused, mudded, raced, damaged or driven by kids, etc, since built. All body panels look great. No rust, scrapes, dents, dings, scratches, paintwork, and no curb rash on the immaculate, original aluminum forged Ford Alcoa wheels. This truck is absolutely exceptional through out. In my 20+ years in the Mustang business, I have rarely seen, owned, or driven a nicer built and well balanced truck that is so fantastically preserved and taken care of. I have owned over 1000 Mustangs, Shelby's, Big Block's, Boss's, Pantera's, Saleen's, Roush's, Cobra's. Lightning's etc, mostly collector models, and rarely see a vehicle (of ANY type) kept in this condition. This is the perfect tow vehicle for your collector car. It will tow like there is nothing behind it and turns heads where ever you go. Suspension is smooth and not bouncy or twitchy when driving down the road, or on the freeway. Truck is appraised and insured for $35K on a collector car policy and it is $470 per year for full coverage and agreed value of $35K. Most insurance companies will do the same for you and insure it as a collector vehicle and you can still tow with it!! Oil has been changed every 6 month or 3K miles which ever came first. Only correct 15W-40 oil used. It has always been started up and allowed to get up to operating temperature every few weeks, then driven around the block to keep all seals lubricated and to keep everything in operating condition when not taken on long trips. Every tank of diesel has had Cetane Booster fuel additive which has kept injectors perfect with today's low sulfur diesels . Always warehoused or garaged. No power steering moan like most have. Nothing leaks, drips, or seeps. No warning lights illuminated on the cluster. Everything works as new. No sweat marks, stains, smells, fading etc on any exterior, or interior. Seats are like new and have been covered with seat covers since new. It really looks, drives and feels like a near new truck. Carpets are perfect and covered since new. All lights work.  In-dash CD player works perfectly with no skips or CD error messages (Clarion head unit with Bluetooth and USB cord for Pandora/Ipod), brake controller, 08+ Super Duty Ford finned aluminum differential cover (keeps diff fluid 25 degrees cooler and has extra capacity) , and Airaid air intake (worth 50+ HP and 50+ ft lbs of torque) are the only deviations from stock showroom issue are the only modifications to this beautiful truck. ALL ELSE STOCK!! Never had a tuner or aftermarket exhaust on it. It starts the first time, EVERY time. Original seat belts are not hard as a rock like most and still supple with original silk screening that still looks new. All retractors work properly too. You simply can NOT find one like this!!! This is a one in a million truck, hands down. Again, pay a little more and get a LOT more...I take the amount of pictures I do, and write the small novel that I do on each and every truck, so that the buyer can feel 100% confident on what they are getting with no worries or concerns.   Underside, and inside of wheels detailed and cleaned frequently since new as is the exterior and interior. Carpet has never been shampooed. spilled on, and still looks like new with no fading, or unraveling . Inside of truck still smells like a new truck!! 2nd owner bought an aluminum Forged Ford Alcoa wheel and put a BFG All Terrain tire on it if needed, as he did not like the original spare was heavy and the wrong size for 4WD. Original jack, tire iron, and mounting hardware all original, never used and look new with original stickers. Just look at the pictures, they really explain this truck, hands down, better than I can. This truck is impeccable for the price. No issues of any type. Many 7.3's with more miles and not near as clean and pride of ownership have sold in the past 6 months for close to, the same as, and more than I am asking for as my BUY IT NOW. A/C ice cold. Heat hot. Brakes and suspension like new. Excellent Falken Wildpeak All Terrain E load rated tires all the way around are at 65% tread and are very quiet and smooth. No gear noise, slips, or issues. Care has always been taken with this truck, which is very evident in the pictures. Ice cold A/C as stated before. Does not run hot when A/C is on. I find I actually have to turn the A/C to a higher setting after 10 minutes even in 120 degree heat as I start shivering in this truck with A/C on full blast!! Belt does not moan or squeal like some do with the A/C on. Does not overheat even in 120+ degree weather. Coolant changed every 2 years with proper Ford Motorcraft gold coolant, distilled water, and Ford SCA diesel additive even when driven little. No exhaust leaks. Sounds fantastic with absolutely no odd noises or issues! Truck has never had an aftermarket tune installed or been beat on like most, or the turbo overheated by towing too much (look at the ones for sale with discolored, brownish coating on the turbo and Y-pipe, where the EGT's were not payed attention too). Even exhaust is stock and original. Has no problems starting in cold weather either. It is very powerful and sounds great. Most of these trucks don't drive as good as they look, this one absolutely does! I have owned 24 Super Duty 7.3 Powerstroke diesels over the years, and unfortunately 3 6.0 and 6.4's, 2 V10's (horrible engines!!), and quite a few Lightnings, and this truck runs, sounds and drives better than most of them, honestly, plus doesn't cost a fortune to maintain like the newer diesels. I have not owned a 6.7, but have no interest after hearing horror stories from friends that have owned them and complained about ridiculous maintenance costs and a few that have caught on fire. Who want to replace expensive particulate filters every 40-60K miles at a cost of over $4K+ and add diesel exhaust fluid consistently anyway, and wait for the truck to regenerate constantly.....not me!! The 7.3 is simple and easy to maintain and does not have tons of sensors like the new ones that go out and are very expensive to replace. Comes from the factory with no catalytic converter, no diesel particulate filter, no DEF fluid, and all the other power robbing, expensive to maintain items on the 04+ diesels!! You are basically looking at a near new truck for 1/3 the price (comparable truck actually $78K+ for a new junk diesel!!) of a comparable new one with out all the issues of the new ones.  Truck is meant to be driven and enjoyed. It drives VERY well. No hesitations, back-fires, pops, squeaks, and is not all over the road like most others for sale. Looks, drives and feels like a new truck. You will not find a nicer 7.3 4X4 Powerstroke for the money!! It is truly immaculate. The suspension is responsive and tight, steering is tight, and transmission is tight with no slippage or delayed shifts. Anytime something needed attention, it was addressed right away. Never has a tuner on it and never towed anything other than a 7500 lb camper trailer its whole life. Brakes are adjusted properly, and it stops very well and straight. Brake controller makes towing a trailer feel like there is nothing behind you. Both original keys/remotes, owners manuals/handouts, dealer pre-delivery checklist, stereo owner's manual, window sticker, maintenance records, and extra fuses and crankshaft position sensor. 2002 is known to be the most wanted year for these trucks too as it was the last full year of the 7.3,  the first year of the stronger transmission and torque convertor, first year of the digital cluster with transmission temperature gauge built in, and first year of the high torque starter. Truck is super smooth! This truck is very quiet, even on the freeway, towing. You won't find a nicer truck for the price, anywhere!! You are better off getting one of these trucks that have been driven, properly broken in, and properly maintained than one with super low miles that has not been properly stored or has dried up seals because of incorrect storage and maintenance. Nothing leaks or seeps on this truck (even rear main seal doesn't seep) and it burns no oil. Starts right up, first time, every time. Idles smoothly with nice deep exhaust tone. No exhaust leaks either. No hesitations or skips. Very smooth power. 3.73 limited slip 10.25" differential. Gets great MPG too, 18+ MPG in town, and 25+ MPG on the freeway driving easy. If you set the cruise control at 2050 RPM (7.3's sweet spot) on level ground it will get 25+ MPG!! I have towed with these 7.3's with tires aired up, and using an additive and have got over 20 MPG while towing!! Brakes front and rear are firm. 4 wheel disc with ABS on all 4 wheels. Power assist works as it should. No shimmies, squeaks, or pulls when you step on the brakes. Parking brake works perfect. Fresh Motorcraft 75-140 synthetic fluid with friction modifier in differential. U joints tight.  Transmission fluid and filter also just done and look like new inside. Both cooling system gold coolant and distilled water/Ford SCA additive new. Brake fluid also flushed and refreshed (every 2 years) and when brakes were inspected recently, they were still at over 90%!! (so you can tell how this truck has been driven). As I said before, ALL fluids and filters have always been changed well before needed ,as has all the preventative maintenance!! Carpet, seats, and original console covered when driven. Ashtray and cigarette lighter never used, not even for coins or junk to mar the ashtray! Cup holder is not broken like most and pops out of dash correctly. No rattles or wind noise!! Truck will seat 6 comfortably and rear seat back folds forward for extra storage in the cab. I know I keep saying it, you will not find a nicer 7.3 4X4 for the money!! Look at the undersides on others for sale (if they even have underside pictures) they are usually rusty, oily, bent up, and filthy ( and sometimes people even spray can them all over the hoses, bolts and floor pans!!!), interiors worn and dirty, worn seats, beat up beds, and the engine boxes look awful with all aluminum corroded etc etc. Please take the time to look at my 200+ pictures and you will see the difference between this truck and the others out there for sale. You DO get what you pay for in this case!!  Fully loaded and amazingly clean from top to bottom. No surprises or disappointments with this truck. Original Oxford White Clearcoat paint shines like new and has been waxed regularly (you can literally shave in it) and always garaged. It is drop dead gorgeous. Much more durable and deep looking than today's water base paints. Look at the reflections (hard to photograph). Never been put on a lift incorrectly, never been bottomed out. Door jambs, engine box, wheels, underside, and bed also kept clean and waxed. It looks like it was toothbrush detailed since new. Look at the underside and frame rails. Many original markings still present along with many original stickers. Trucks driven in inclement weather, don't have these markings and stickers any longer. Never a bent body panel, floor pan, or frame rail and never any body damage or paint work. All original Ford Carlite tinted privacy glass except windshield which has been replaced by me with a brand new expensive 6 layer Ford Carlite windshield as original had a minor chip that bothered me.  No dents, dings, paintwork, or scrapes anywhere on the body. The only flaws I can even think of, most would never even notice...there are a few spots through out where there were very small minor chips that have been touched up with original Ford match touch up paint and compounded, and a bit of what I call peppering ( minor chips) behind the rear wheels before the original clear bra areas on wheel wells. All of these I took pictures of and all are minor that most would never notice. No clearcoat fading, even on roof....the roof picture shows the reflections of the clouds, not clear coat fading like most of these have!! Once again, no dings, gouges, scrapes, paintwork, or dents. Front and rear chrome bumpers are immaculate with no dents or scrapes.  Again, I am VERY picky (I am told the pickiest person that all of my friends know) and believe in being 100% honest about each and any flaw. I know myself, that I want to know everything about something I am buying before I buy it, so I treat others in the same manner and respect.  This truck looks and drives like a 20K mile, 2 year old, well taken care of truck to put it into perspective. The truck is nicer, drives much better, and way better maintained and kept detailed over any other 7.3 4X4 out there in this price range. Everything works like it should. Again, please take the time to look at the 200+ detailed pictures. Truck is very clean through out and a thrill to drive. More reliable and durable than all the new diesels out there with out all the maintenance nightmares of the new ones. Google the 7.3 Powerstroke and you will see that they are considered the BEST diesel ever put in a truck! I know these 7.3's exceptionally well as I have owned quite a few over the years. Look at the others out there for sale, they don't compare to this one at all. NOT at all.......You get what you pay for.  Ask questions if you have them if you are serious, I am very easy to deal with, and am happy to talk on the phone about this impeccable truck from top to bottom.   Truck is VERY clean top to bottom. Leather steering wheel (I added this, brand new from Ford as I don't like the original vinyl ones...the leather wrapped wheel makes the truck much nicer to drive!!) is very clean and airbag pads are not warped. Horn and cruise control both work perfectly. Lighter never used, and truck has never been smoked in. All lighting in the gauge cluster and on switches all work perfectly. All power options work perfect. Power windows smoothly glide up and down smoothly with no clunks or skips. Power door locks work like they should and don't catch like most. 2 original keys and 2 original  remotes. No wind noise or leaks when truck is washed. Doors close tightly. Speedometer works perfect and doesn't bounce or stick like most. All gauges work perfectly and are accurate. All lights work both interior and exterior. Truck just turned 111,980 miles, which is just breaking in for a well maintained 7.3. Last oil change done 500 miles ago. I put a minimum of 400 miles on each and every 7.3 I get and make sure anything that bothered me during those miles gets fixed....anything from a simple rattle, shimmy, dirt, bulb, etc. Once I make sure everything meets my nit-pick-i-ness, truck goes into storage until sold. These 7.3 Powerstrokes are well known to be the best diesel ever installed in a truck and are often called the "million mile motor''. With proper maintenance there are quite a few out there with even more than than 1 million miles!! Ambulance companies love these and still have many in service as they are frustrated like everyone else with the issues with the newer diesels. Some of the local ones here in CA have over 1.5 million miles and sill going strong and surpassing the other diesels!!   Ford has not been able to produce a diesel since, or even close to a 7.3, and the others (Dodge and GM) may have OK diesel engines, but, the trucks that the engines are in can't seem to stay together!! All lock cylinders are original to the truck and work smoothly with no binds, including tailgate lock. Look at how well all the body panels and windows line up!! All original trim, weatherstrips, lights and emblems are in excellent condition and not faded, chalky, cracked, or deteriorating like most others.  Every correct clip, nut, bolt, rivet, plug, sticker, rubber bumper, etc is correct on this truck!! This is not a clean up and sell, everything is as correct as possible and has been since new. Care, thought, a huge amount of time, passion, and attention to detail is present on every aspect of this truck and has always been babied, detailed frequently, and waxed often. Always kept indoors. Very hard to find combo too, with the short bed, crew cab and XLT Package with power driver's and passenger's seats, Advanced Security Group ( keyless entry with remotes, automatic headlights, fog lights, front license plate bracket, Camper package ( F-350 suspension loopol, but with out extra cost of insurance), engine block heater, 6 disc indash CD changer (now in-dash CD, Bluetooth with USB (original available), SOTF ( Shift on the fly 4 wheel drive...put trans in neutral and pick what you want the transfer case to do), telescopic trailer tow mirrors, factory tow package, 5th wheel package, adjustable pedals, cruise control, power windows, locks, mirrors, etc , so it's perfect for hauling things while still easy to park (fits in most home garages) and maneuver while taking the whole family not only in comfort, but know you will get there!! Truck is available for inspection and can be driven or shipped anywhere. Out of country buyers welcome too, if you arrange shipping from the Long Beach Port. I can have the truck delivered to the Long Beach Port, included with BUY IT NOW. Clear CA title in hand. Currently registered and insured in CA until DEC of 2015. Many have sold in the mid to high 20's in the last 6 months, and a few in the 30's not as clean as this one with not the attention to detail, highly descriptive listing such as mine, or detailed underside shots. I am confident this truck will sell fast at this price. Every time someone uses BUY IT NOW when not even talking to me first, I ask them what prompted them to do so? The answer is usually " your long, detailed description (small novel), and all the underside shots!" I want people to know exactly what the are getting, so I spend the time to describe everything I can think of to eliminate any unsure-ness. I have never had a person purchase a vehicle from me sight unseen that has not been more than happy with their purchase. My 99.5% Positive feedback on eBay clearly shows people are very happy with what I sell. If you have a question. want the Carfax emailed to you, or any doubt, feel free to message me... Please email me with phone # and I will call you with any info you're requesting. I am not interested in trades or people that want to sell this truck for me. Truck is tight with no rattles, leaks, etc. The underside is as clean as the the rest of the truck and still has all the original markings, line codes, inspection marks, stickers, etc.. The pictures speak for themselves. Please allow the time for the 200+ pictures to load, scroll down, and enjoy!! Look at the original tailgate, bed and trim ...when is the last time you saw everything as clean such as this?? This is the most balanced truck you will ever drive. Transmission is smooth as silk with no grinds or slips so there is no worry of issues with it like the others out there. Truck is very easy to drive. It is much more solid feeling than the newer trucks, easy to maneuver and park, more comfortable, and does not have all the sensors, particulate filters, and maintenance of the new diesels. You will not find a nicer one for the money that is this immaculate and to this caliber of detail and pride of ownership! These 7.3 Powerstrokes are very hard to find in nice shape as most were used as work trucks, or driven in salty, rust belt areas and are all rusted up and/or used a work trucks. Most you find will not be loaded like this one with power seats, power windows, locks, mirrors, stainless nerf bars, tow package,  privacy glass, forged Alcoa aluminum wheels, cruise, tilt, adjustable lumbar seats, and keyless entry, etc...etc.....   Any questions, please message me and I will respond promptly. This is a like to sell, not a must sell, or a desperation sale!! I price things fairly and on a Buy It Now, so there is no haggling back and forth or dealing with bidders that don't pay. In the past, I would do bid auctions which would end up getting bid higher than I may have wanted, but sometimes end up getting people that were not serious that ended up not paying. I have 30+ high end vehicles in my collection, so it is not the end of the world if this does not sell. Most are $100K+ in my collection. If I can make some extra space in my warehouses, great, if not, I will keep it as I do love the truck, the way it drives, and it tows like there is nothing behind it. I did a Buy It Now, so you don't have to bid an and wait, and hope to get it. I get people all the time that email me after they missed something I have listed to let me know if the deal falls through...I will buy....Outright price for my truck is $29,900 if Buy It Now is used, and I know it will sell for that. Must be paid for in full with in 3 days, unless arrangements are made with me before using Buy It Now . I have clear CA title in hand. Check my feedback, I have sold several very high dollar ($200k+) vehicles on eBay over the years with no problems and have a 2470+ positive feedback score and am not only a PS, but a TRS. Less than 1% of sellers have achieved this status selling on eBay, so you can trust how I describe what I am selling by the feedback I have received by those that have purchased from me that give me these ratings. I have never had a person purchase a vehicle from me sight unseen that was not thrilled with their purchase!! I reserve the right to end this auction early as the truck is advertised on several other sites and publications, so if you want it, use BUY IT NOW before someone else buys it!! No burnt out bulbs anywhere, even the back-up lights, dash lights,  and original under hood light still work perfectly. Original owners manuals and handouts come with the truck as do maintenance records.keys/remotes, window sticker, and extra crank sensor/fuses. This F250 runs and drives excellent and has never been abused. There are no odd odors, odd rattles, or odd noises. You can drive this truck anywhere. Mileage may also vary minimally as truck may be driven for test drives and/or inspections and I do drive it sometimes, but of course still kept indoors when not being driven. Please feel free to ask questions and I will answer promptly. This is not your average $20K 7.3 4X4 truck that you can find that needs $10K+ worth of work and still won't be as nice as this one. This F-250 is a no excuse, honest truck, that needs nothing. It will only continue to go up in value if kept in this condition. Vehicles such as this from my experience are a much more solid investment than the stock market. Clean 7.3 Powerstrokes have been going UP in value due to all the terrible (and expensive!!)  new diesels out there now. The nice ones have gone up 60-70% in the last 6 months. Diesel fuel is way less cost that regular gas too. People consider the 7.3 Powerstroke to be the best diesel ever installed in a truck in the history of trucks!! Oil in this truck has been changed frequently (both upper and lower reservoirs) and the oil is clean. In 7.3's that have not been maintained, the oil will not be clean like this and never will be. The nice ones will keep going up in value when in the condition and desirability of this one. Remember, you get what you pay for, this truck does not need ANYTHING!! The paint and color combination is simply stunning and the options make it a pleasure to drive and it turns heads where ever you go. People stop at gas stations and make comments on how immaculate it is. No excuses, issues, or stories. Have a great day and thank you for looking and (hopefully) reading my long description..I just want to be thorough. Each time I think of something else, I revise the listing, add more pictures, and before I know it, it ends up this long!! Very few read what I end up writing, but if you have, thank you!! Feel free to contact me with any questions and have a great day. :) Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.

2004 Ford F250 Lariat SuperCrew Diesel 4x4. Very clean inside and out. EXTERIOR: few scratches and door dings but otherwise body is in great shape. Always washed and waxed regularly, no nicks in glass. No modifications other than back-up lights installed (with relay) on rear bumper and towing brackets mounted on front bumper (used to pull this truck behind motorhome). New BFG ATs with 1200 miles on them (paperwork included). Wheel caps are in toolbox. Bed was Rhino-lined day after truck was purchased. Window vents on all 4 windows. Sunroof. ENGINE: 6.0 diesel, regularly 16/19 mpg. No mods. Routine oil changes at 5000, air filters, etc changed per factory schedule with Carquest parts. Repairs: radiator replaced in 2013 (lifetime warranty). That's it! We had three of these trucks, all 2004s, never any trouble with any of them (we run heavy equipment and take good care of diesels), all close to 200K miles. Auto tranny with shifter 4L-4H on floor (allows vehicle to be towed in neutral without removing driveshaft). INTERIOR: clean! My father drove this one as his personal truck, never towed or hauled anything- not even a boat (my truck did all that). No one sat in other seats, leather on all of them looks like new. No scratches or tears in seats or interior. No dash cracks. Stock radio with 6 CD. Air blows cold, heat works. Never smoked in, never sweated in, doubt he ever ate in it either. WHAT DOESN'T WORK: Last time I changed the air filter I broke the gauge indicator, so air filter light stays on. Compass/temp indicator above rear view mirror doesn't work. Both these things are less than $100 to repair/replace. KBB indicates this truck should retail privately for $14500-15700. I'm willing to take a bit less since I need to sell it soon, so make a good offer. Title is clear and in my hands. Will provide bill of sale. Vehicle is ready to drive home. Not sure how ebay wants the deal handled but if we agree on price, $500 within 24 hours to hold it (non-refundable) and the balance due in money order or major bank cashiers check only.
