1963 Ford C-600 (COE) Custom Car Hauler: The Ford C-Series was a medium-duty cab-over engine (COE) truck built by the Ford Motor Company between 1957 and 1990. While advertisers boasted of its versatility, it was used primarily  for local delivery, and fire apparatus. Many of the fire trucks came merely as cab and windshield models. In production nearly unchanged for 33 years, the C-Series was the longest-produced commercial truck in North America at the time  it was discontinued in 1990. Only the Mack Model R (39 years) and Kenworth W900 (53 years; still in production) have remained in production longer. As Ford started squaring off its vehicles in 1957, they finally gave the cab-overs their  own designs separate from the rest of the Ford truck lineup. It featured a small grille near the front bumper, with a four-pointed star emblem on each end, the word "F O R D" spelled out below the windshield, and had a cog-and-lightning  bolt crest emblem between the headlights. Variations of this emblem were found on many other Ford trucks during the 1950s and into the 1960s. The C-Series held onto this logo the longest. In a fashion similar to the Checker Marathon or  Volkswagen Beetle, changes to the C-Series trucks throughout its production were very subtle. If anywhere, many of these changes were identifiable by the changes in the cowl insignias and badging. For 1963, the C-Series was updated  with the same cowl insignias used by the rest of the medium- and heavy-duty truck line up. The logo had the word FORD on top of a trapezoid with the model number designation. This insignia was used until 1967. Also in 1963, Ford  introduced diesel versions of the C-series, as well as the N-series and Heavy-Duty F-Series.   Whether you have a small collection or an entire dealership, this C-600 provides the opportunity to arrive in true "classic" style better than any other. This custom-built car hauler was restored with no expenses spared by a restoration shop  and classic car dealership. The purpose of the build was to have a unique showpiece used to deliver vehicles to local customer and for transporting classics to and from shows. Space and money constraints forced the sale of the truck shortly after  completion which attests to the 250 miles currently registered on the odometer. This COE project started with a solid race car transporter and has evoloved into the frame-off restored beauty you have the opportunity to own today. Considering how  much work was done in-house at cost, the total of the expenses which accompany this sale add up to a staggering dollar figure. There are ramps hidden in the rear cargo area that you can drive up on and there is a belly-mounted Warn Winch  for those classics that decide to be difficult at times. Highlights of this build include; Rebuilt 370 Ford Truck Engine (replaced the original 292 Y block), Rebuilt Allison Automatic Transmission (replaced the original 4 speed manual),  New Brakes & Lines, Rebuilt Rear-end, New Wiring, New Redline Gauges, Cleaned & Lined Gas Tanks, Six Powder Coated 20" Steel Wheels, Six New Doublecoin RR400 9.00R20 Tires, New King Pins, New Weather Stripping & Rattle Kit, Restored Steering Wheel, New  Paint, New Interior, New Window Felts, New Warn Winch, Cleaned & Painted Frame, Powder Coated Ramps, New Wood Floors in Ramp Bed, and New Lighting in Bed Interior. In summary, everything on this COE is new, fully restored and/or  rebuilt! I probably should have said that first and saved you some reading and me some typing. As you will see from the photos below, this is an unique Cab-Over custom car hauler that can be purchased for only $35,988! I personally attend several of the largest classic auctions around the US each year and have recently seen  similar 50's-60's restored car haulers sell for $40-70k. You can't beat this price and, as often heard in the classic car community, "....you can't built it for this kind of money." I am adding a MAJOR incentive to sell this C600 in the next 3 weeks. With the ""Buy it Now"" option you on eBay can own this unique COE now and receive FREE SHIPPING * to your driveway. Not only is shipping free but we will handle all of the shipping arrangements and provide  complete cargo insurance while in transit. Why wait a week just to be out bid at the last second by another bidder? We sell 90% of our cars with the low "Buy it Now" option. This classic Ford C-600 is not a vehicle you are  going to find at your local dealership. Reserve is set just below the "Buy it Now" price. Why wait? "Buy it Now" and get your new Ford Cab-Over home safe and hassle free! If you are local or have your own transportation arrangements, we may  accept a slightly lower offer. * USA - excludes; Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, & Maine. International - Buyer will receive $1,000 USD shipping discount. DAYS / NIGHTS / WEEKENDS / HOLIDAYS: Call Brian ANY time for further details at (832)606-9952.

When Dodge discovered that Environmental Protection Agency regulations allowed light trucks of over 6,100 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight to run with no smog gear at all, it set about creating what some consider the original muscle pickup. Despite its humble origin -- a very basic Dodge D150 pickup with a narrow box and shorty 115-inch wheelbase -- the Dodge Li'l Red Truck was an impressive package. For about $5,000, a customer got the high-line Adventurer cab in red or black, with bench or bucket seats. From there, the buyer could personalize with extra gauges, including a tachometer, various sound systems, including eight-track tape or CB, and a "Tuff" steering wheel right out of the old Dodge Challenger R/T muscle car. The 1978-1979 Dodge Li'l Red Truck came only in Canyon Red set off by bold gold decals on doors and tailgate, plus genuine varnished oak planking on box sides, tailgate, and bed floor. But the real killer was that pair of tall, 2.5-inch-thick chrome exhaust pipes poking up through the step plates behind the cab. Wrapped in perforated metal heat shields, they looked like they'd been swiped from a Kenworth 18-wheeler. Those stacks led straight to a 360-cubic-inch V-8, tuned as if smog regs didn't exist. Essentially, it was the E58 police unit (E for "Express," hence the name on the doors), sans "Lean Burn" and emissions hardware but fortified with a free-breathing Holley four-barrel carburetor, twin-snorkel fresh-air induction, beefed-up internals, and heavy-duty electrical. End result: **225 horsepower and a thumping 295 lbs/ft of torque at 3200 rpm. Completing the performance picture were a three-speed Leaflet automatic transmission, 3.55:1 differential, stiff springs and shocks, and LR60-15 white-letter radials on eight-inch wheels. Most examples of the 1978-1979 Dodge Li'l Red Truck carry the optional slotted chrome rims, power steering, and power brakes. Performance was quite good for a time when smog equipment had a stranglehold on horsepower. The 1978-1979 Dodge **Li'l Red Truck did the standing quarter-mile in under 16 seconds, 0-100 mph in 20 seconds. Adding to its appeal, production was just 2,188 for 1978, and 5,118 for 1979. Collectible +'s of the 1978-1979 Dodge Li'l Red Truck : -Tremendous performance for the day -Snazzy paint job and deluxe interior -Lots of real tree-wood in the bed -Appreciating in value every year !!! As you will see from the photos below, this is an unique Cab-Over custom car hauler that can be purchased for only $39,988!

Tastefully modified, it has a host of awesome features that were built right in at the factory, then tweaked to a higher standard when it was modified just a few years ago. Take your time with this one, because there's a lot to see here. GM's fastback styling hit the market in 1941, spread quickly through all the divisions from Chevrolet to Cadillac, and then vanished just a decade later. The cars that were left, cars like this awesome little Chevy, were some of the most attractive cars of the period with forward-looking styling that looks good no matter what you do. The list of mods is pretty extensive on this one, from the shaved bodywork and frenched headlights to the trick taillights that actually come from a Kenworth. Other details like the simple grille and bumper, the unique wrap-around split windshield, and wrap-around rear bumper are OEM stuff. The paint is gorgeous Root Beer Brown with a pink pearl topcoat that gives it a sheen and depth and a hint of candy goodness inside when you see it out in the sunlight. Even in the studio you can see how the paint highlights the car's graceful curve and although the bodywork is perfect, the overall look is spectacular. It's got some signs of use, because, after all, this car has been driven and enjoyed, but after all how could you resist, that's what it's built for. This Chevy has definitely moved up in the world, because the interior is wrapped in sumptuous leather wrapped around Mercedes-Benz buckets. The commanding driving position is possible thanks to the fastback's sleek roofline which doesn't need to be chopped to look modern, and it goes without saying that the chairs themselves are supremely comfortable. The stock dashboard was treated to a two-tone makeover, complete with the original gauges still in place and an under-dash A/C unit for comfort that didn't require cutting things apart. That pod in the center is the original clock, another cool touch that seems custom but isn't, and there's a fabricated center console with an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit built right in. The dark carpets anchor the interior and give it a substantial look, and the quality of the materials means that there's minimal wear on any of the surfaces. There's even a good-sized trunk under that sloping deck lid, fully upholstered in matching brown carpet. The powertrain breaks no new ground, but a Chevy 350 in a Chevy makes a lot of sense, don't you think? It's neatly dressed with some chrome dress up and the engine bay is sensibly arranged for easy maintenance. Modern features like power brakes and a Mustang II independent front suspension make it feel quite modern on the road and the engine makes plenty of power. Backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic and a 10-bolt rear end, it's incredibly reliable and the suspension modifications make it ride like a Cadillac. Twin Flowmasters give it just the right rumble that's not annoying on the highway and it sits right with a bit of a '50s custom look. Sparkling Torque Thrust-style wheels stand out against the dark paint and carry staggered 205/55/16 front and 225/50/16 rear Toyo radials. With a seamless blend between stock and modified, this wonderful 1951 Chevy is one of those rare rods that successfully blends great looks and daily driver practicality.
