1988 Volvo 240 wagon 5 speed manual transmission, white with blue vinyl interior. It runs and drives great and is ready to go another 100 k miles. New front tires, new timing belt, fan belts, air filter and oil change. Runs and drives great, suspension is tight and quiet. lights are pretty good and all working. Has a roof rack and a 3 rd seat in the back. Updated hub caps from a 1993 240. Air conditioning has had a new compressor a few years ago, worked fine last summer. I have about 50 receipts from the former owner it had regular oil changes and service. Seats are good few splits in the drivers seat, right seat and back seat are nice. Carpet and interior plastic are all good. 1988 is a good year no wire harness problems like the earlier cars and no computer issues of the 89-93 cars. Car will need a radio the factory one is broken. I bought this car from Usaa insurance company it had light damage on the left side, the rear door was replaced, a few dents fixed, and the left side was repainted(see picture). They said it was totaled, but I drove it home from Pa, they don't want to fix any older cars.  Car runs and drives great, it was a Maryland car most of its life,spent some time in Georgia and back to Pa where I bought it. The odometer shows 128440, the gear in the odometer was broken, that has been fixed. My best guess  is the gear broke in 2007 from service records, the car was driven 24k miles between 2000 and 2007, so my best guess is the has close to 150k miles total. It will be sold as true milage unknown as the law requires. Title is salvage, if you live in Maryland, we will collect tax, tag and title fees, you will receive the title from the MVA, it will be branded "rebuilt Salvage" on the bottom of the title. If you live outside of Maryland we will provide you a 60 day temporary tag to drive on, we will turn the salvage title into Maryland, get a Maryland title, it will have the "rebuilt salvage" brand on the bottom. That will take 10-30 days and we will send the title Fedex once it arrives. This title is good in all states, some however require and additional inspection before it can be titled. Call me I can tell you what is required if anything to title in your home state.  I will  have the car Maryland inspected this week.  Maryland inspection is really tough, if it passes here it will pass in your home state. Tires are pretty close to new, exhaust is recent and in good shape. There are a few rust spots in the tailgate by the window, floor pans are good, doors, quarter panels are not rusted. There is one dent in the front of the roof, and a couple of dings by the tailgate on the right side, see pictures. I will do the timing belt, oil change, air filter, flame trap, and drive belts  as it is due before you come to pick it up. Used truck cab for international truck 4000, 7000 or 8000 series, came from a 20 k mile  truck that was converted to a single door cab for a trash truck. You get the cab, 4 doors, 2 front are manual, 2 rear are power, seats, dash, column, light bar  and controller for light bar and aero shaped windshield visor. One small rust hole in rear of left rocker see pictures, windshield has a crack. I have put the vent windows back in the doors and put the seats and dash back in. Cab came form a a 2007 7000 series, it will fit 4300, 7100, 8200 etc. Light bar and controller is a whelin, it was $1500 new. Vin number listed is from the white doors off the other cab, Sold with bill of sale only. Cash or certified bank check from a local bank only at pick up.There are a few small dents on the back of the cab from being moved on and off the truck, see pictures. Nice rust free 240 wagon 1987 maroon with tan vinyl interior. Clear Va title in hand, no rust in the floors doors or quarters. Original paint, the car has never been in in an accident. Very well preserved example of the classic 240 wagon. Interior is in excellent condition, I have a replacement center console that will be installed. Door pockets are good, manual windows all work fine. Air conditioning has been converted to 134 freon and works good. Ipd big sway bars have been installed on the front and rear.  15 inch wheels from a 780 with Dunlap tires have lots of tread. Engine and 5 speed transmission are smooth and drive fine. Volvo wagon 1993, runs and drives good, no rust, decent black paint, good cloth interior. This week the car will get a timing belt, front engine seals, air filter, flame trap, oil change, wiper blades, a used ac compressor and a ac recharge.  The odometer gear has been ordered for the speedometer it broke a couple of months ago according to the previous owner. Car is sold true mileage unknown as the odometer was broken for a couple of thousand miles. Engine and transmission both are running good and smooth, no check engine light or issues. Paint is pretty good, there are 3 or 4 small dents the size of a half dollar and a long scratch on the drivers door, see the pictures.  Exhaust is in pretty good shape should last another 5 years. Tires are about  75 percent. Power windows and locks are working fine. Radio has been upgraded to a cd player. There is an arm rest with cup holder, the center console is there but cracked. Door pockets are missing. Has floor trays, the carpet is in fair condition. 1993 was the last year for the 240, it was upgraded to 134 a air conditioning, anti lock brakes, driver side air bag and they are galvanized underneath and generally remain rust free. Very nice 1988 240 wagon, rust free, Maryland inspected, fully serviced ready to go. Selling for a friend, car shows 132 k miles on the odometer, the odometer was recently repaired and is now working correctly. His son has used the car for the last 5 years, a semi starving artist, 2 trips to Florida and the store on the weekends. His studio is in downtown DC and he can't afford to park there so he rides the metro everyday. From what the father told me there are less than 150 k miles on the car. Looking over the car and driving it I agree, it is tight and smooth with a sharp interior.  Dad is a 35 year Volvo Master tech who took good care of it for his son. Rust free Rose beige exterior, good paint, one line in the drivers door a few dings in the right quarter by the tail light and 1 or 2 dings on the roof.  No rust ever, good doors, quarters and floors. Brown vinyl  interior and carpet are really good. It has basic crank windows, but does have power locks. After market CD / radio works great. Ac is cold and working fine. Engine and transmission are the super durable 2.4 litre B230 f and AW 70 auto transmission, they are running great and ready to go another 200 k miles.  Tires have less than 200 miles on them, brakes and exhaust are fine.
