The car is complete. Front suspension has been replaced. Power steering power unit rebuilt. New brakes with stainless steel brake line to rear axle. New dash pad, seats and carpet. Interior is very nice. Has five new-looking wide, white-wall tires (have less than 1,000 miles on them, but are over 10 years old). Body needs TLC. Rust on passenger side rocker panel. Rust hole in front fender - passenger side. Has damage at the back of the drivers-side front wheel well. Has other dents as shown in pictures. The car starts easy and runs well. Power windows work. Heater works. Windshield wipers are vacuum, and try to work, but will probably need to be flushed and serviced. All lights work. Radio turns on, but I think it needs a new antenna. Passenger side door lock works, but lock mechanism on drivers door is broken. Needs a new key lock. 1964 Dodge Polara,two door hard top. Surviver unmolested. Alot happened in 1964 and this car was there. Mopar and the Ramcharger factory team were out there shaking up the drag racing world. Dick Landy,altered wheel base,rinkle walls ,426 hemi etc.etc. This car survived the drag wars etc and here it is as is after 50 years. It's a 318 poly two barrel with a push button trans power steering standard drum brakes. It runs good for an un restored 50 year old car. Needs restoration or leave it alone. ( They are only original once) Has some rust but not serious. Hole in bottum lft frt fender, two holes passenger frt floor. trunk has surface rust and a scrape lower right side. I have original owners manual ,original wheels and hub caps and build sheet still in rear seat spring. American racing wheels and nice Hankook tires on car now.
