65 Ford Galaxie 2dr Hardtop About the Car. I bought this car as an average runner/driver for around 3500 dollars. I have done a lot of work to the car and spent an enormous amount of time and money. It has been a complete frame off restoration. As you can see from the pictures it has not been completed. It needs paint and reassembly. I have all the parts and pieces to finish the restoration and they go with the car if it sells. So if you are looking at the pics and thinking it is a hunk of junk, it is not true. Almost all of the time consuming and expensive parts of the full restoration have been completed. The metal work and body work have been completed, it basically needs some sanding and paint. The interior is complete it does still need to be installed. I have a lot in this build and probably can't list everything but here are some details. 390 cid V8 rebuilt engine with no miles on the rebuild, has an upgraded cam, 4 barrel carb w/aluminum intake, 4 speed transmission, posi rear end w 370 gears, front suspension has been rebuilt, undercarriage has been redone, front has disc brakes and rear is drum brakes, has new 17" tires and wheels, has the factory ac that works, upholstery is new, carpet new, dash pad new, headliner new, has two hoods that go with it a thunderbolt style hood, and a Torino style hood. I put 10,000.00 on the price, this is negotiable. I realize I'm not going to get back what I've put into it and I realize 10k is a higher starting price. I am willing to negotiate but the car isn't going for what you would pay for it if all this hadn't already been done to it. Please call if you are interested (817) 269-6071. 63 1/2 Ford Galaxie 2dr Fastback About the Car. This is one of my favorite cars. I bought this car as an average runner/driver for around 3500 dollars. That being said, I have a lot in this build and probably can't list everything but here are some details. The frame has been painted and undercarriage complete, whole car has been sand blasted, body work done and is in an epoxy primer. It has a completely rebuilt 406 cid V8 engine with no miles on the rebuild (it is still on the engine stand), Tri power 4 speed car. It has the factory cast iron headers, solid lifter engine, fast back body style looks marvelous (great car for a ford/nascar enthusiast). Has 17" wheels and tires that are seen in the pictures. Have all glass as well. Have everything to finish the car for a hobbyist who would like to engage in this project. The interior needs to be done and as I've stated all the original pieces I have but haven't re-upholstered them. Car needs sanding and painting, and complete reassembling. This van was a special ordered with a 454 Fuel Injected V8, 400 Turbo Automatic Transmission, 3.73 Rear Axle with posi trac, Air conditioning, Power Windows, Power Locks, cruise control an upgraded Tow Package and the front seats were changed to Flexsteel captain seats. The original wheelchair lift was updated to the current RICON hydrolic lift setup that works perfectly. Documentation with the van includes Original Texas Title, window sticker, order sales form, buildsheet, owners manuals and both sets of keys. This van has been perfectly maintained since day one and mostly garaged kept. The only flaws I found with the van are a couple small typical dings and a scratch as you can see in the pics. The van has never been in an accident and never been smoked in. I have driven this van and it drives like it probably did when it was new. AC blows cold, Radio works great, all gauges work. The owner was a hotrod builder and had the exhaust changed out to a duel Flowmaster setup and even added a tach on the dash that works. This truck was built to be the best 31 Ford truck you could have; from the powder coated frame, upgraded 12Volt electrical to the upgraded 4 speed manual and H&H Built touring motor. This 31 Ford truck has only 483 miles on her since the complete build and everything on this truck was done to the highest standards. The interior has looks great with the real wood dash and door trims, a hidden modern radio, hidden push button start, working floating fuel gauge and floating speedometer. Interior gauges also include; oil, temp and volt. Her engine is a built motor by H&H Antique out of La Cresenta, Ca. The motor is one of their Long Block Touring motors (handhantique.com). Factory Red on Red and other then the typical maintinance and one repaint the factory red color, this truck is very original. Factory 352 V8, two tone paint and in an automatic with a bench seat. This Truck is solid, check out the underbody pics and the bed is solid. Never been in an accident, body lines are excellent. All the guages work, heater works, brakes recently serviced, Tires are BFG and near new condition. This is a survivor truck has been well taken care, never abused of and was owned by an elder man. She still has original carlight glass (repaired chip on winshield, see pic) This truck has great power and shifts as she should. With the age of the truck and being very original, she has some typical items to address; sometimes you have to hold the shifter into part to start, some of the trim and emblems have pitting (typical) and above the bed side long trim at the body lines, you can see in the pics she has some paint bubbling (again, very typical). She only shows to have surface rust under the truck, this is the type that cleans off. Frame is excellent. This is a keeper as she is truck and enjoy or an easy truck for restoration.
