I bought this vehicle in 2010, was beautiful. I moved to the country, now has some mileage on it.. I understood that I was the 3rd owner at the time of purchase, but looked like others may have owned it,,,, nonetheless, it was in beautiful condition,, no problems. I have done little so far re: maintenance, other than a battery and changing tires, wipers,,, if I remember something more, will be happy to disclose, I try to keep all receipts in the glove box. It is now worn down in need of some tlc / rehab. Needs painting, replace or fix the front driver leather seat due to tearing, power steering issues and a bad oil leak, source of that not yet identified. This is a GREAT car for a mechanic or a fan of the Lexus brands,, I am looking for a fair and quick sale,, so selling for $ 1200,,, I am good with $ 1000,,, just need to cover any fees of EBAY. Shipping is optional, up for discussion,, depending on how far you are, I may be willing to drive, but must be on a weekend, as our busy work season is going on thru December. As we own a UPS store, I have a few folks that can drive and deliver the car for further distances,, and will get you a quote from them. You are more than welcome to look up USHIP as well or whatever source you may have. *drives nice and smooth, tires are very good, sunroof , ac, etc, all works, no leaks,,, I just somehow managed to get a collection of cars, getting rid of some, would like to get rid of these NOW. In today's world, I prefer a certified check from a verified bank, and WILL NOT release vehicle until the bank, and check are actually good, verified, and clear my bank,, sorry, but I have seen too many fraud certified checks lately,,, I may be willing to use pay pal,,,

I have a beautiful 1998 LS400 for sale. The car has 132xxx miles and is in great shape. The exterior is a 9/10 with only small scratches. Interior condition is a 9/10 with the seats in great shape. Car pretty much looks new inside. Back seats have been sat in twice since I've owned it. I wash this car weekly and wax it monthly. Copious maintenance history. Timing belt, spark plugs, rack and pinion, drive belt, oil changes and seals done recently. Drives perfect. Michelin Primacy tires are at about 85% tread and are rotated and balanced every 1000 miles. Only issue is the speedometer gets stuck and the fuel gauge is a little wonky. These are pretty common issues with LS cars of this age. Can be fixed for less than 300 bucks if you want to fix it. I use a speedometer app on my phone and just enjoy the ride! No accidents. No stories. A solid, beautiful car. Serious inquiries only. Not in a hurry to part with my baby

LS3 V8 Swap Lexus IS300 – 6 speed, Fully Built, 400hp+! (LS1, LS2, LS6, LSX) As much as I hate to do this, the time has come for me to sell this awesome LS3 IS300. I have nine cars and no time to enjoy them all. I would rather see someone else use the car the way it was meant to be. For me this was the most perfect car – the power of a Corvette, the quality and reliability of a Lexus, and the practicality of a sedan. Truly “one car to do it all”. An excellent daily driver, track car, or whatever else you might have in mind. My garage will look kind of sad without this parked next to my ’97 Supra Turbo. For some this car will need no introduction. The build was well documented on several forums (ClubLexus, LS1Tech, MyIS, Supraforums, etc) and is pretty well known in the Lexus and engine swap worlds. Quick Summary * 2001 Lexus IS300 * LS3 6.2L V8 swap (same motor as the 2008-2013 Corvette for those not in the know). Bottom end had 50k miles at time of swap; heads were brand new. * Dyno’d @ 459hp/ 425ft lbs. Car was dyno’d with an aftermarket cam that has since been removed, however it is included in the sale. I would estimate the cam at 40-50hp, so the car is probably around 410-420rwhp as it sits. * Best ¼ Mile = 11.8 @ 120mph * T56 6 speed transmission * KW Variant 3 Coilovers * Original development car for Dedicated Motorsports who pioneered the IS300 LSX swap. This is car #001. Build is fully documented in multiple threads linked below. * Less than 15k miles on swap * Interior = 9.5. Seats, carpet, and panels are near perfect. * Exterior = 8.5. Paint is in great condition overall but is original and does have some imperfections commensurate with age/mileage. Certainly a presentable daily driver, but not quite a show car/ trailer queen. * Engine Bay = 10. All wires have been properly wrapped, covered, and soldered. Additionally the engine bay has been wire tucked; looks even better than OEM. * Weighs 3374 (full tank of gas, including all stereo equipment, spare tire, etc). The LS3 weighs a few pounds less than the 2JZ-GE it replaced, so the excellent weight balance of the IS300 is unchanged by the swap. I’ve listed it at an aggressive price to move the car quickly, so if you want the car don’t wait. There were three things that really stood out about this car when I bought it vs other swapped cars that were for sale: 1) LS3 – this build paired a low mileage block with brand new heads; everything was fully refreshed and properly built. Additionally the LS3 received many upgrades to improve performance, strength, reliability, and to support forced induction at some point in the future. To me all of this was far preferable to buying a car with the junkyard LS1 pullout that has an unknown history. 2) Well Built & Fully Documented. This car was built by Matt Owen who pioneered the IS300 LSX swap. This was the first car he built – there was a ton of time, labor, and dollars spent in order to make this car perfect. The attention to detail is outstanding. See links to build threads below. The quality of a swapped car is fully dependent on the builder, and Matt Owen is one of the best. 3) 100% Complete. This build is so much more than just a motor swap. No expense of time or dollars was spared to make this car right. Beyond the motor this car boasts enhancements to just about every other system: Suspension, Brakes, Cooling, Exhaust, Audio Video, Fueling, Wheels/ Tires. Also this car has working AC; a lot of other builds neglect that. Depending on where you live that could be a major issue. This car is unbelievably well built. I haven’t had to turn a wrench on this car during the 4+ years I’ve owned it. Other than having the differential upgraded/replaced it has never seen the inside of a shop either. Just turn the key, enjoy, and repeat! It also never fails to draw a crowd. If you don’t like attention then this isn’t the car for you – I end up popping the hood and having conversations with strangers just about everywhere I go (have met some really nice folks that way actually). One kind of attention it does not seem to attract is the flashing blue lights. I’ve had zero tickets in four years. 1997 Lexus SC400, 234,151 miles (will increase slightly as car is still driven some), Everything works...a/c, heat, stereo, CD changer and even the power antenna, There are no burned out bulbs or led's in the dash or climate control display. The timing belt was recently changed, and I recently changed the oil myself. The interior is 7 out of 10, paint is 7 out of 10, Someone made an amateur attempt to roll the fenders and did not heat the paint. It is peeling in the over fender areas. The car has Tanabe coil overs, custom stainless steel "true" dual exhaust with x-pipe (sounds like the V-8 that it is but not raspy at all). New oxygen sensors and high-flow cats, The car has no check engine light on or trouble code issues. The transmission shifts great, It has a full interior led bulb conversion, h.i.d low beams and yellow h.i.d. fog lamps. Front brakes are from a later model LS400 (a very common upgrade).I bought this car for fun but to also limit myself in the "go-fast" department. I have a compulsion to modify my vehicles for performance. That is why I specifically wanted an SC400. This car was purchased from a good friend who builds very competitive drift cars. He was going to "cut it up" for competition. This was his third SC and he knew it was too clean to go sideways in. I like to think I saved it. Anyway, it is an old Lexus and does what it is supposed to do well. It is by no means a fast car by today's standards, I simply wanted to drive and enjoy it. If you pay cash, you can pickup the vehicle immediately once the currency is verified - there may be a small fee applied for excessive cash handling situations. If you pay by wire transfer the vehicle will be available for pickup once funds are available in our account. If you pay by bank check, you will have to wait nine (9) business days or possibly longer until the funds clear. If payment is made using a check we will hold all vehicles and titles for nine (9) days or until the funds clear. Additional Fees and Taxes The exact amount you can expect to pay for state-required tax, title, and tags will vary depending upon (1) the state in which you live, (2) the county where you will register your vehicle, (3) the weight of your vehicle, (4) whether you will have a trade-in vehicle, and (5) the type of license plate you select. All car dealerships have a mandatory dealer fee that they HAVE to charge ALL customers by state law. Some dealerships have been known to charge more than $1000.00, but we keep our fee as low as possible. Our dealer processing fee is $375.00 and covers the preparation of the vehicle, a professional detailing, the preparation of documents, filing tax, title and registration forms, and the expenses of maintaining inventory. Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there may be a delay in receiving the original documents up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are rare occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. All titles will be overnighted at our expense if that is the case. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
