For sale is a 1997 Lexus SC300. I am selling this car for my son. The car is in Yorktown, Virginia 23691. The reason he is selling is because this car needs a few repairs. However, the car is in good running condition and is drivable. Since he doesn't know how do to these repairs, he has decided to sell the car. These are the repairs his mechanic stated he needs. The No. 6 fuel injector gets stuck when car is first started and the engine shakes a little. As it warms up the problem gets better but doesn't go completely away. The car has a power steering leak. The radiator has a slight crack. When he fills with antifreeze it takes about a month to leak out, about a gallon. The air conditioner has a slow leak. After filling with Freon it takes about 3 months to leak out. It has a check engine light - might be EGR or catalytic converter, not sure but nothing serious. Traction control light blinks. He has always taken care of this car - changed all the fluids, etc.. The brakes are fairly new with grooved and slotted rotors, (4 wheels). After market chrome wheels. New Continental DWS tires. This car comes with brand new shop manual, new about $85. The exterior of the car is in very good condition with no rust. The interior is in very good to excellent condition.
