I am offering my personal Maserati Mexico 4.7 5 Speed, with power steering for sale. My business is restoring vintage Maserati GT cars. 2400 hours and over $157,000 in parts and sublet labor makes this a super great value (do the math!). These cars are quite expensive to restore and take about two years to complete. Project cars, non running, and severely rusted Mexicos are now running $70,000 and up. This car has won numerous First Place awards and Best of Show at Concorso Italiano in August 2009. You will be hard pressed to find a better Mexico anywhere in the world. It runs and drives as good as it looks. Matching numbers, power steering, ZF 5 speed, Borrani wires wheels (52 Size), 4.7 engine, etc and all in superb condition ready to show and drive. Every component has been restored, refurbished and or replaced with new and all done with correct factory details. Engine, trans, clutch, rear axle, brakes, suspension, shocks (Konis), cooling system, discrete custom 8 speaker audio system running thru a restored Becker Mexico from the period. iPod interface and massive power amp. The solid (not veneer) African mahogany is stunning with 7 coats of highly polished polyester resin. All the gauges including the clock are working as new. A beautiful matched set of rare Carello headlamps, NOS factory grills (3) and all emblems and rubber seals. Additionally, every lamp lens is new from Italy. Full and complete correct tool kit with factory handbook, documents, manuals, matching Borrani spare, jack and all correct bags. Eight hides of correct grain Italian leather with wool carpets complete the show quality interior. The car is used sparingly but often, and is maintained very carefully by me. We acquired this Maserati Tipo M138, otherwise known as a Coupe Cambiocorsa from a new car store who received it as a trade in. It runs and drives beautifully with no warning lights or issues whatsoever. We took it to the local Maserati dealer to have a thorough inspection done and found that the clutch is 84% worn. It was last completed at about 21k miles. The clutches typically last about 15k miles in these cars so the CLUTCH WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED in the near future. With that being said, it drives and shifts through all the gears without issue as it stands. We simply want to disclaim that the clutch is an expense you will need to account for over the next few thousand miles. Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports all around with a lot of tread remaining. Engine is a 4.2L V8 producing 390hp at 7,000rpm, manufactured by Ferrari in Italy. This particular car is equipped with the optional Cambiocorsa transmission, which is Italian for "race change" - an electrohydraulic manual transmission that utilizes Formula 1 racing technology coupled with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Four driving modes are available: Normal, Sport, Auto and Low Grip. The Normal driving mode provides a comfortable driving experience while the Sport mode stiffens the suspension and makes the shifts quicker, allowing for an exhilarating experience that is similar in quality to that of a Ferrari 360 F1. Cosmetically, it remains in beautiful condition all around. The interior is of the highest quality, hand-stitched leather - every angle you look - even the headliner is full leather. The sun-visiors are finished in alcantera. The steering wheel is finished in the optional Carbon Fiber with Carbon Fiber door trim to match. The seats are both full electric and heated. All in all, this car is loaded up with options. Due to a lack of sun-related wear and traces of exposure to elements, I will confidently say that this car has been garage kept throughout it's ownership and appears to have been in caring hands. It's still young with well under 40,000 miles. For a fraction of the $100,000 sticker, this is about as incredible of a car that can be had for the price. Fees and Taxes. 3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $199 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. I don't make exceptions for other licensed dealers. A dealer fee covers administrative papwerork and overnight postage as well as detailing fees for each vehicle. 3.5.2. Sales Tax. 3.5.2.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to collect sales tax at the rate applicable in your county at the time of sale. 3.5.2.2. Out-of-State Buyers. If you have the vehicle shipped to your location, I do not collect any sales tax; you will be responsible for paying your state's sales tax directly. If you come to Florida to pick up the vehicle at my location, I am required to collect either your state's sales tax, or Florida's 6%, whichever is less. Generally, you will receive a credit in your state for sales tax collected here. If I collect our 6% because your state's rate is higher, you will be charged the balance in your state. I always recommend you check with your local tag agency first; although the vast majority of states have a reciprocal sales tax agreement with Florida, a few do not. Some states also have specific forms or procedures that must be used for out-of-state purchases. 3.5.3. Tag & Title. 3.5.3.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to handle your tag and title work, and I collect an estimate of those costs at the time of sale, which range from $150 to $400 depending on your specific situation. If the actual cost of title and registration is less than the estimate, I will refund you the difference; if the actual cost is more that the estimate, you will be required to pay the difference before getting your tag and title. I do not make any money on tax, tag, registration and title fees I collect. 3.5.3.2. Out-of-State Buyers. I will provide you with the vehicle's title, and you will be responsible for handling the tag and title work in your state. 3.6. Exchange Documents and Signatures. There are, unfortunately, paperwork requirements for completing the transaction, which vary depending on whether you are from out-of-state or not. This is a great Maserati CC. I have owned this car for several years, first as a dealer, then I transferred it to my personal car. I own Forza Motorcars Ltd, European auto repair in Texarkana, Texas. This car has never wanted for anything. It has had all of the issues associated with these cars resolved. Maintenance would include; annual complete fluid and all filter changes, two clutches (both TOB noise related), F1 pump and relay, steering rack, heater core, front timing cover reseal, front and rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, oil pump seals, front upper control arm bushings, and TOB position sensor. This car is utterly Toyota Camry reliable. The secret to owning these cars is to keep up with maintenance and repairs. You will see CCs for sale for much less, but you will spend a fortune trying to make them right. This car is finished in Sebring blue. The paint is bright and shiny. The exterior flaws are a couple of small dings (pictures will not show) and acid rain type water spots on the hood and front fenders. Though they are minor, the do exist and deserve disclosure. The interior is a very unique, orange-ish tan(looks like a baseball glove) with blue piping. The drivers bolster shows some wear and the vents are a bit sticky. This car has HRE M40 wheels and spacers, with Michelin Pilots that have about 3k mile on them. I also have the original wheels with Nitto 555 with 10k miles on them. This car will be sold with a complete fresh fluid and filters change when sold. This car has a clear car fax history, no derogatory reports at all. A copy is available upon request.
