That solid metal lines up beautifully, featuring wide doors, which open and close with ease. And overall, this T-Bird's looks defy the decades its VIN suggests. Speaking of fit and finish, everything on this incredible Dearborn creation is exceptionally well planned. And the car carries just the right amount of old school NASCAR charm to inspire lust and exude presence. At the front of its body, a sculpted fascia hangs simple driving lamps beneath a small Thunderbird emblem and aerodynamic headlights. A characteristically linear profile complements flip-up door handles and a power antenna with painted mirrors and small rocker extensions. On either side of the chrome air filter you'll find Chevrolet branded valve covers resting on the aluminum heads that have been equipped with adapters that allow standard style valve covers to bolt to center bolt heads. Cooling for the powerplant is provided by a giant BeCool aluminum radiator that's equipped with fresh hoses and an electric puller fan. Spent gases from the engine's combustion are whisked through a slick pair of Jet Hot coated set of Hooker headers. Aesthetically, the car's satin black firewall and fully finished fenders look great against the 355ci mill. Underneath this tire shredding Super Sport you'll find a fully restored factory chassis that's ready for both the strip and the turntable. Behind the car's engine, a Tremec TKO500 5-speed manual turns a familiar Ford 9-inch which hangs pavement melting 3.70 gears between fully integrated Detroit Speed mini tubs. At the front of the car the factory front sub frame has been upgraded with a Detroit Speed upper and lower control arms, and a Detroit Speed anti-sway bar. At the rear of the car the factory leaf spring setup has also been upgraded with a Detroit Speed rear-leaf springs. At the corners of the car, Baer Track 4 brake calipers clamp large 13" calipers on the front, and 11" rotors on the rear . Exhaust flows from the afore mentioned coated headers into a true dual system that's complete with an aggressive Jet Hot coated transverse mounted Flowmaster muffler and rear mounted turn downs. Power is put to the pavement through razor-sharp Polished Aluminum Budnick Gasser wheels which spin Nitto NT555 Extreme radials. And the car's fresh satin black floors, which have been restored to better-than-new condition, feature a full array of finishing components that include a new stainless fuel tank, new stainless fuel and brake lines and a full set of spotless stainless hardware. Open the door of this awesome F1 hardtop and you'll find a black and white houndstooth interior. You might admit that the interior looks familiar, and that's because the builders opted to customize an interior from a late model Camaro to fit within this historic F-body.
