Up for sale is a beautiful 1992 RED MERCEDES 190e with the larger and more powerful 2.6, six cylinder engine. The motor and transmission are VERY strong with less than 180,000 miles and driven less than 7,500 miles per year. This car is a daily driver and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. I am flexible on the price and I will consider all reasonable offers but I will not just give it away SO MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE!!! I recently purchased the car from the original owner 2 years ago. The car has been well taken care of with all service records present and it is very clean and 100% original, including the paint! The car has good brakes, suspension, tires, new battery and has recently been inspected. The A/C works and blows cold. The car drives beautifully, tracks true and straight, and is very comfortable and quiet! Current known issues are: the engine stalls at red lights and stop signs occasionally but very seldom, the rear driver side window will not roll all the way up, the drivers door lock does not work with the key, the cruise control does not work, the engine runs a little hot during the summer but the temperature does return to normal when the fan kicks on. There are minor imperfections in the interior and minor dings and paint wear, all imperfections are representative of a 25 year old car, including some fading on the exterior. The Kenwood radio works well and so does the power antenna but the radio will cut off sometimes unexpectedly, probably due to a loose wire. The sunroof works but one corner does not close flush with the roof, there are no leaks from the sunroof. The power seats work with the exception of the passenger side power head rest. The interior upholstery and headliner are in beautiful condition with some minor pulling away of the door panels. The issues that the car has are very minor and typical of these cars and are easy fixes. The car does not smoke but does leak a little bit of oil. This car can very easily be restored and can be driven and enjoyed while doing so. I have truly enjoyed owning this Mercedes and was going to restore it but I have decided to sell the vehicle. The car has never been in an accident and has very little to no rust (no visible rust on the body that can be seen, only your standard engine bay and underside rust that is very minimal). The car has been garage kept and is very presentable for being 25 years old! It is very hard to find a RED Mercedes with this very desirable color combination and in this condition! This car needs a little TLC from someone that loves Mercedes and a few minor and quick repairs. The repairs I would recommend would be to replace the engine gaskets simply due to its age, cruise control module, catalytic converter, a good tune up and the other minor issues mentioned above. This car can easily be brought back to near showroom condition with a paint respray. If you love Mercedes cars and you are looking for a great car to restore this is a great starting point for a beautiful restoration! These cars are about to start climbing in value as many of them are now hitting the 25 year mark! This car was over engineered and designed to travel 300,000 miles or more. This is the car that rescued Mercedes from near bankruptcy and is still an iconic and historically important vehicle today! Don't miss out on this rare and beautiful car! I have tried to be as truthful and honest as possible regarding the condition of the car and my feedback score of over 1500 with a 100% positive rating speaks for itself. You can make your purchase with complete confidence! Please feel free to message me with any questions. A non refundable deposit of $500.00 is required to be paid immediately at the time of purchase. The car will be relisted if the deposit is not paid for within 72 hours of the sale or if the vehicle is not picked up within 7 days of the sale. The balance of the sale is required by PayPal, cash, or cashiers check, as soon as the vehicle is picked up or sooner if the buyer is satisfied with the purchase. I am selling my collection of 190e Cossworth cars, I already sold one and I am keeping one and here is the last one i am selling. These cars are getting very rare by the day no were to be found any more so snatch this one before i change my mind. Its a 1997 190e 16V Cossworth, Came from Florida now in California clean signed Florida title on hand never registered in California its been sitting with my other collections and i decided to start selling some to make room. Leather is black like usual, power windows, power seats, power doors, 5 speed the most desirable one. I can send the car with original orange color marker or corner lamps or clear aftermarket once depending on what you request. The car runs fine just need tune up and oil change, will need to be shipped out from my location to yours. NO LOCAL PICK UPS I don't need people wondering around here i will only ship it out the car has i believe 166k miles on it if i am not mistaken check the history please, never involved in accident check history again please. I am offering this vehicle for a good deal, not in a rush to sell it yet especially if i don't get what i am asking for it, i can always come back and sale it for more later.I will only accept a bank cashiers check or direct transfer to bank account, sorry no paypal here they charge too much money unless buyer pays extra 3% then we can talk. If paid in full i can help find good reliable cheep shipping company and will hold the vehicle until picked up no problem. Please keep in mind this is a 1997 collector vehicle, its not 2016 vehicle as you want it to be I forgot to mention this vehicle was owned by a celebrity at one time but i forgot who exactly the previous owner told me all about it long time ago but i forgot. If i do remember i will post it here.

Up for sale are my two (2) Heckflosse W110 190D Mercedes Benz automobiles. One has been partially restored the other has been partially used for a parts donor. There are numerous additional parts that go with the cars. Those include a short block engine and air conditioner. One of the 190D’s came from “Texas” and the other came from “Ohio.” Both are inspected and clear titled here in North Carolina. The Texas car was picked for restoration because its body was in the best condition. Ohio had a better engine that tested in great condition. Texas had been outfitted with AC so we first attempted getting its engine running only to find that it had low compression on one cylinder during our tests and decided to make repairs without doing a major component transplant. Initially our intentions were to restore both Texas and Ohio. From our testing we decided that the valves were leaking and the injection pump was improperly timed. So we had the head rebuilt and timed the injection pump only to further conclude the rings were in need of replacement so we pulled the engine from Ohio and installed it in Texas. That’s where Ohio and Texas are at currently. Ohio’s engine, transmission and drive shaft are now installed in Texas and it runs. The shift linkage on the running Texas needs to have bushings installed and adjusted. We have many of those parts and will, of course will go with the car. It has new tires, brakes, steering parts, starting and a variety of other parts. Ohio has better upholstery and the dash is in better shape. The unitized body on Ohio has more rust and will need more body attention however both cars are candidates for restoration. That would be your choice if you want to do engine work or some sheet metal welding. Ohio does not currently have tires but the rims are waiting to have tires installed if you decide to restore it. Otherwise it can be dismantled for parts.

Mercedes-Benz 190 SL - Ivory & Red - Beautifully Restored Classic Mercedes!Year1956MakeMercedes-BenzModel190-SeriesVIN1219216500771Stock NumberA339Mileage0TransmissionManualEngine4 CylinderExterior ColorWhiteInterior ColorRedTitleClear‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is proud to offer you this gorgeous 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, finished in its factory correct color combination: (Code 608) Ivory white exterior wrapped around a perfect red leather interior. This beautiful example just underwent a full restoration w/ brand new paint, brand new trim, brand new interior, & brand new canvas top. She looks like she just rolled off the assembly line back in 1956! Here is a bit of history on these classic Mercedes-Benz roadsters: The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL is a two-door luxury roadster produced by Mercedes-Benz between May 1955 and February 1963. The 190 SL presented an attractive, more affordable alternative to the exclusive Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, sharing its basic styling, engineering, detailing, and fully independent suspension. The 190 SL is powered by an 1897 cc (1.9 Liter) straight four SOHC motor, which was based on the 300 SL's straight six. It has an 85 mm bore and 4.3 mm reduced 83.6 mm stroke, fitted with twin-choke dual Solex carburetors, and produces 120 gross hp. Linked to a 4-speed fully synchronized manual transmission, which feeds power to a 3.90 rear axle, these little roadsters are a blast to drive! The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL was technically brilliant in nearly every way, from its pioneering use of fuel injection to its tubular space frame. However, it wasn’t initially offered in an open body style and all of its technical innovation didn’t come cheaply. Mercedes desperately needed a sporting model that could sell at a lower price point. The 190 SL utilized some of the features of the 300 SL like its independent rear suspension, but rather than being built on a light space frame, the 190 SL was built on a shortened sedan platform. In place of the fuel injected six-cylinder was a carbureted four-banger breathing through twin Solex carburetors. The car driving characteristics were more of a boulevardier than a sports car, though it did look quite sporting as it shared a number of styling cues with the 300 SL. It also shared that car’s peerless build quality. For this reason, 190 SLs are nearly as difficult and expensive to restore as the more valuable 300 SL. Values of late have made it less of a labor of love proposition to restore one, but still the best practice is to buy a done car as the costs of even the most minor upgrades and refurbishing can escalate quickly! This beautiful example is ready to show, or drive & enjoy, but either way you will be hard pressed to find a finer example. The body is laser straight all the way around the car, & the new Ivory white paint is simply flawless with no distractions whatsoever. All of the chrome & stainless trim is show quality throughout w/ no pitting or signs of wear. The black canvas top is in beautiful ‘As New’ condition, goes up & down effortlessly, & the plastic rear window is perfectly clear. The red vinyl boot is also ‘As New’. Simply stated, this is the most beautiful Mercedes-Benz 190 SL that I have ever seen in my life, period. Slide inside and you will feel like it is 1956 all over again! The interior was fully restored from front to back, with beautiful new red leather seats, new dash pad, new door panels, new gray carpeting, etc. w/ everything appearing factory fresh. The steering wheel is original and in amazing condition for being 60 years old! The radio is aftermarket, but fits in quite nicely with AM/FM & MP3 capabilities. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, horn, etc., are in perfect working order. Open the trunk and you will find it to be 100% finished, w/ matching gray carpeting, complete w/ spare tire & jack assembly. Pop open the hood and inside the nicely detailed engine bay resides the original 1.9 Liter straight four cylinder motor, looking very much factory correct throughout. The motor is linked to an original 4-speed fully synchronized manual transmission, feeding power to the original 3.90 rear end. She starts, idles, runs & drives beautifully in every way! The motor has plenty of power & torque, and shifts through all four gears very nicely. There are no known issues whatsoever, no smoke, no dripping, absolutely no problems at all. Again, this beautiful 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL is ready to show at any national level car event, or can be driven anywhere @ anytime w/ no concerns. The 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL has become highly collectible, and it is becoming harder & harder to find a beautiful example such as this. Prices have been steadily rising, and I believe they will continue to appreciate in value in the coming years. Based in Saint George, Utah, R.H.R.C. was founded by Steven Ray Anastos after he relocated to Utah from Southern California. Steven has been dealing in high-end Mopar Muscle Cars since 2003 where he did business in California under the name "Steve’s Killer Bees". Having ridden motorcycles his whole life, he decided to expand the business by dealing in Custom Choppers, Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles in addition to his growing Muscle Car and Hot Rod business. The stunning landscape, beautiful weather, open roads and no helmet laws make Utah the perfect place for such a business. After finding the ideal location with tons of visibility, Steven opened a brand new showroom in Saint George and plans on being around a very long time. The showroom is very unique as there is nothing else like it in Southern Utah. The area is starving for a taste of the Hot Rod Kulture and R.H.R.C. plans on getting in on the ground floor. They sell Helmets, Goggles, Sunglasses, Hats, Beanies, Jewelry, DVD’s, Books and Hot Rod Collectibles such as Rat Fink, Von Dutch, Clay Smith and Mooneyes. They also market their own line of R.H.R.C. apparel. Much of their business has been and will continue to be internet-based, especially the sale of their high-end Muscle Cars and Hot Rods as many of them are in the six-figure category. They intend to start selling these rare vehicles locally as there seems to be quite a following for Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Motorcycles in the Southern Utah area. R.H.R.C. holds Car Shows and Special Events monthly at their Saint George location so stop by and see their incredible selection of inventory. If you are not already on their mailing list, please call or email with your contact information and they will keep you informed of any and all events. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. 1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 16V Cosworth, 77,621 Original Miles, 2 Owners From New, Rare Automatic Transmission, Great Running Condition 800x600 1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 16V Cosworth, 77,621 Original Miles, 2 Owners From New, Rare Automatic Transmission, Great Running Condition VIN #WDBDA34D3GF187107 This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 16V Cosworth is a fantastic example of one of the most sought-after eighties sports sedans Mercedes-Benz produced and, along with the BMW M3, represents an era of cars that will never be seen again… The condition of this car is very original and straight. The car shows some signs of age, especially in the paint, and has 77,621 original miles on the odometer. I am the second owner from new. This car retains every option available on a 190 at the time, including the special options available only on the 2.3 16V versions, such as the front and rear seats. BODY: This 190E 2.3 16V wears its factory correct and original Blue-Black Metallic paint, which unfortunately is not in the best condition, as you can see from the photos. It is peeling in some areas and faded in some others. If you need additional photos of the paint, please let me know. I'm happy to take more. The good news is that all of the body panels are ripple, dent, and rust free and don’t appear to have had any sort of body or accident damage. The glass and seals are in good condition and there are no leaks evident. The body trim, including the chrome, aluminum, and rubber, is in good condition. No trim has been replaced. There are some minor imperfections, but overall, all of the trim is in line with what the condition should be on a car of this age with the mileage shown. The composite body panels, fender flares, ground effects, etc., are also in good condition with no need for replacement, just re-finishing. INTERIOR: The interior is trimmed in the original black leather. The seating areas are in nice condition, with no rips or tears, but there is normal wear evident. The door panels are also in good condition, but please pay attention to the photos in the description. The dashboard has a couple of small cracks, which can be repaired, and there are two spots on the seating areas, one in the front and one in the back, where the stitches have separated and need to be re-sewn. The seat backs also need minor repair. All of these issues can be rectified with a good interior shop at a fairly low cost. The rest of the interior is in good condition and has normal wear and tear for a car of this age and mileage. If you don’t see something in my photos you would like to see, PLEASE ASK! The wood trim is also in decent overall condition and not in need of repair, unless your plan is to totally restore the car. The carpet is also original and in very presentable condition. The climate control system works, but the air conditioner is not getting very cold and will either need a charge or possibly a new compressor at some point. The compressor is still available and is fairly inexpensive. All of the windows power up and down and work, as well as the sun roof. The trunk is in very nice condition, the trunk floor covering is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or missing pieces, and the spare tire, jack, and factory tool kit are accounted for and in very nice condition. UNDERCARRIAGE: The underside of the car is in line with a 77,000 mile Mercedes. Again, it is very solid with no evidence of any accident damage, but does have the normal minor surface rust associated with cars of this age. I've included quite a few photos of the underside of the car along with the rest of the photos of the car after the description in this section. ENGINE and ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The powerplant in this Mercedes is the original 2.3 litre 16 valve Cosworth engine. It is completely original and as you can see from the photos, well preserved. All aspects of the motor are in perfect working order, and the compression ratio is exactly where it should be. And yes, the car is fast. The engine bay is completely original, with all components in operational condition. Every detail of the engine compartment is “Mercedes Correct”. There is some wear to certain painted surfaces due to age, but overall, it is very presentable. All engine and drivetrain maintenance is up to date, including the following services: -oil and filter change -air filter replacement -installation of new fuel filter -engine coolant -installation of drive belts -lubrication of entire chassis -installation of new battery TRANSMISSION: The automatic transmission in this car is in working order and functions as a 77,000 mile car should. It is the original transmission to the car. As you already know if you are a fan of these cars, most of these cars were manufactured with manual transmissions. This car is one of the very few cars equipped with an automatic transmission. TIRES, WHEELS, and BRAKES: The tires are in fair condition but could use replacement if the new owner plans on doing any serious driving. They and are the correct and original size for the 1986 190 16V. The wheels are the original Mercedes-Benz wheels, and are in good condition. The entire braking system has been gone through to ensure every part works as it should. All rotors, pads, and seals have been replaced and brake fluid flushed. OVERALL DRIVING IMPRESSIONS: This 190E 2.3 16V runs and drives as should – It’s barely broken in! The 4 cylinder powerplant runs and accelerates smoothly and very quickly and the transmission shifts as it should. The car drives around town and on the open road. It has had all of the necessary service recently performed including oil-change, tune up, installation of new battery, and transmission and differential service. The only area I would pay attention to if I was to drive the car would be the suspension. Everything works, but it could use a complete overhaul at some point in the future, i.e tie rods, etc., not just because of the mileage, but also because of the fact the car sat idle for periods of time over the years. The most important part of the suspension, the self-leveling air shocks at the rear, are in working order and are not in need of repair at this time, although the accumulators will need to be replaced. PLEASE NOTE: This 190E 2.3 16V still retains all of its original or N.O.S. components! This means the engine, transmission, rear end, etc. are original or correct to the car. All of the numbers, markings, etc., are correct. THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN MODIFIED IN ANY WAY! It is an original and very special car that, as evidenced by the low mileage, has been driven very sparingly during the last 29 years… If you are serious about purchasing this vehicle, I encourage you to come, take a look, and drive it. I can also provide you with additional photos of any specific part you have questions about. You or your mechanic are also welcome to put the car on a lift and perform any drivetrain inspection you wish, including a compression check. Please remember, this is a 29 year old car. As you can see from the photos, it’s not perfect. Things do go wrong sometimes. That’s the nature of old cars. I have attempted to describe all of the high and low points of this car. Overall, it’s a great dependable car to drive every day or restore to its original glory. My plan was to paint the car, repair the interior where needed, work on the suspension, and enjoy it. Plans change and I’d like it to find a good home. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 800x600 TERMS: $500 DEPOSIT WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION CLOSE. Developed in collaboration with Cosworth initially for the rally scene of the 1980s, the flagship version of the 190E series eventually went on to dominate track-racing and ended up on the roads as well, putting up a good fight against BMW's iconic M3. Even though nine times out of ten, people would choose the Bimmer over the Merc, the 190E Cosworth's underdog status makes it an equally appealing car. As Richard Hammond put it: "it was Cinderella, but the coach never came". But let's take it from the start. In the late '70s, the V8-powered 450SLC rally car started to show the signs of aging, so the Stuttgart automaker decided to replace it with a compact model. Jointly developed with Cosworth, the 190E never made to rallying though, as Audi took everyone by surprise with the Quattro, featuring four-wheel drive and a turbocharged engine. Mercedes' management didn't want to fight an battle it couldn't win so instead, they competed in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM). Motorsport regulations stated that, in order for a racecar to be homologated, there had to be a road-going version. So, at the 1983 Frankfurt Motor Show, Mercedes unveiled the 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth. It couldn't have been a more better time for this, as, just one month earlier, three Cosworth prototypes set a number of world speed records at the Nardo (Italy) oval, after being driven non-stop for over 50,000 km (31,069 miles). According to the plan, the distance was to be covered in 8 days, at an average speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). Six pilots drove in 2 and a half hour shifts and completed the task in exactly 201 hours, 39 minutes and 43 seconds. More amazing was the fact that all three cars finished without breaking down, only needing routine maintenance and, of course, refueling. The heart of the production 190E 2.3-16 was the four-cylinder Cosworth engine, based on the 136 hp 2.3-liter stock Mercedes powertrain. It was made from a light alloy, fitted with dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder. The British engineers made the valves as large as they could be for the given displacement and also used a Bosch K-Jetronic injection system. The 2.3-16 delivered 185 hp at 6,200 rpm and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) at 4,500 rpm, easily revving up to the 7,000 rpm redline. It was pretty fast for its time reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph). Due to stricter emission regulations, U.S.-spec models had a slightly weaker engine, rated at 167 hp and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft). The power was sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual Getrag transmission with a racing gear pattern. That meant it had a "dog-leg" first gear, left and down from neutral. The steering ratio was shortened, for added precision, while the steering wheel itself had a smaller diameter. With a 0.32 drag coefficient, the 190E Cosworth set a new world record for the time. It was also a car that showcased many advanced engineering solutions, such as an electronically controlled limited-slip differential (LSD) and self-leveling hydraulic suspension on the rear axle. Inside, leather-clad Recaro sports seats provided ample support during fast cornering, alongside the aggressively shaped rear bench, while the instrument panel had additional gauges – oil temperature, voltmeter and stop watch. Only two exterior colors were available, the Blue-Black metallic and Smoke Silver. In 1984, driving a 190E Cosworth, Ayrton Senna, a relatively unknown driver at the time, won the first race held on the shortened Nürburgring, signaling the birth of two very big stars. But the 2.3-16 was just the beginning of the 190E Cosworth saga. In 1988, a new model followed, the 2.5-16. It had a bigger, 2.5-liter engine, delivering ten more ponies, for a total of 195 hp. There were also cars without catalytic converters, capable of 204 hp. Two new exterior colors were offered, the Almandine Red and Astral Silver. Overall, the 2.5-16 wasn't a quantum leap, but it did help the 190E Cosworth to keep up with its arch nemesis, the E30 BMW M3. Until 1988, the 2.3-16 was raced in different touring car championships by privately owned race teams. When Mercedes officially entered DTM, a new road going version was needed for homologation. This is how the 2.5-16 Evo I limited edition came to be. Only 502 units were built, featuring the same 2.5-liter 195 hp engine, with slight modifications. The powertrain had a shorter stroke and bigger bore, which allowed it to rev higher. Also, the rotating masses were lightened, lubrication improved and cam timing altered. The running gear received the most important upgrades, being optimized for heavy track use, as more and more 190E Cosworth owners were entering weekend races. For those wanting more performance, Mercedes also offered a DM18,000 PowerPack developed by AMG, delivering 30 extra horsepower. The upgrade included different camshafts, larger throttle body and more aggressive engine management. The intake and exhaust systems were optimized as well. The 1990 Geneva Auto Show saw the introduction of the Evo II, the most capable of all 190E Cosworths. This time the engine was considerably more powerful, churning out 235 hp and 245 Nm (181 lb-ft) of torque, the latter constant between 5,000-6,000 rpm. Tipping the scales at just 1,300 kg (2,866 lbs), the Evo II could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) – impressive figures back then. The Evo II had an adjustable sports suspension, with three height levels, operated by a switch placed to the left of the steering wheel. Front passengers were given even more aggressive sports seats, while the rear bench was configured for only two individuals. An extensive bodykit, boasting an oversized rear win and blistered wheel arches, made the Evo II downright menacing and aerodynamically more efficient, with a drag coefficient of only 0.29. The Evo II had a limited run of 502 units, 500 painted in black, while the last two were silver. Base price was DM115,260, approximately €58,932 in today's currency. Granted, that was a lot, but, hey, good things are never cheap. By Csaba Daradics

This is a restored 1961 Mercedes 190b Ponton sedan with 86,684 original miles documented by service records which came with the car. The previous owner stated that the car was purchased in Germany by a US serviceman who returned with it to California where it remained until I purchased the car in 2008. I believe I am the fourth owner. The car was shipped to New Hampshire and spent two years undergoing restoration. It has been driven less than 1,000 miles since the restoration was completed. For the last seven years, the car has been stored during winter and NEVER driven in the snow. The body was disassembled and stripped to bare metal (the underbody was left untouched to show off the original gray paint with only minor surface rust here and there). The body is absolutely straight and 100 percent rust free. When down to bare metal, we found evidence of an early minor crease in the front right fender, which had been professionally repaired. The bumpers have been rechromed and the aluminum body trim has been sanded, buffed and refinished. All other chrome is original and in excellent condition. The body was repainted with epoxy primer and finished with three coats of DuPont Chroma Premier single stage enamel (color LS 126) with wet sanding between coats. The trunk and wheel wells were finished in black epoxy paint. B-Quiet sound deadening material has been added to the doors, the roof and behind the rear seat to reduce road noise and vibration. Wooden dash trim has been refinished with hand-rubbed oil. The OE chrome beauty rings included on the wheels were an available accessory when the car was sold. The restoration includes many new parts: Starter Motor mounts Muffler, resonator and exhaust pipe Gas tank filter screen Bilstein shock absorbers Under-hood heat shield / sound proofing blanket Fender-mounted side markers Headliner Upholstery Coco floor mats Retro-look digital radio Under-dash OEM Mercedes speakers in pods Radio antenna Leather steering wheel cover Bosch dual horns Fresh air intake ducts Driver side mirror Running board mats Door seals and assorted other gaskets / rubber Trunk mats and trunk seal Window channels Front and rear window gaskets BF Goodrich wide white wall tires All hoses and hose clamps The carburetor, distributor and fuel pump have been rebuilt and the radiator has been re-cored. The mechanical fuel pump has been augmented by an electric fuel pump. The original tool kit is in excellent condition. The engine runs strong and is quite responsive for a four-cylinder. Valve clearance has been recently adjusted. Transmission is four speed manual shift on the steering column. There are small dents in the tops of the fenders where my exuberant (ex)mechanic overflexed the hood (see pictures). The rubber floor mats are original and in very good condition for their age; however, the rear mat has a tear over the tunnel. The rear-view mirror has some de-silvering around the edges but the chrome is in excellent condition. The window washer fluid bag is new, but the original cap is not holding pressure and needs to be reworked/replaced. The car comes with some assorted spare parts and hardware, including matching-color sheepskin front seat covers. The reserve on this car is less than half the amount I have invested in it. I am selling because I have two other Mercedes cars that need my time and attention, and this car is spending most of its time in storage these days. Please ask any and all questions before you bid; I urge you to inspect this car in person in Francestown, NH, if you are seriously interested. This car is for sale locally, so the listing may be terminated prior to the close. The winning bidder will need to make a non-refundable $500 deposit via Paypal within three days of the end of the auction. The balance must be paid with a bank wire transfer or cash within ten days and before the car is picked up. Pick-up / shipping arrangements are the buyer's responsibility.

1986 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3 16V Smoke Silver/Black Recaro interior, 129k miles, 5 speed manual. An exceptional example of this legendary model - 1 or the 1964 cars imported to the US in 1986-1987. Completely sorted with all the best/correct mechanical and cosmetic enhancements. If you wish to buy and enjoy a 2.3 16V it will be very difficult to find a comparable car at any price. I am a long time genuine enthusiast and have owned several of these cars trough the years including a perfect 50k mile car - to which this one is superior in many aspects. At 120k miles Complete cylinder head overhaul - valve guides/seals, cylinder hear resurfaced, timing chain/chain guides, new updated chain tensioner, head gasket set - all German factory MB parts. Between 120,400 to 122,200 miles - German and MB factory parts. Behr radiator/cap/graf metal impeller water pump, thermostat, coolant temperature switch, expansion tank, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, idle switch, oxygen sensor, throttle cable, drive shaft center support bearing, front flex disc, new derlin shifter bushings, fuel accumulator, fuel pump check valve, fuel filter, over voltage relay, engine and transmission mounts, parking brake shoes and cables, ignition switch and ignition lock housing, all vacuum hoses, gear oil, break fluid, tires, a/c compressor rebuilt, new dryer/receiver - recharged with R-12, under hood pad, lap timer gauge lcd rebuilt, brake pads, front rotors, stainless steel brake lines. Suspension completely overhauled - Meyle control arm kit that replaced all 8 of the rear suspension components including the control arms, ball joint assemblies, control arm struts, camber struts, thrust arms, and all hardware, new Mercedes lower control arms and bushings, front heavy duty strut mounts, torsion bar bushings, and front ball joints - bilstein sport shocks and h&r springs all around - self leveling suspension completely removed. European headlights, Evolution I 16x8 wheels - original 15x7 wheels included as well as a few spares - hand made stainless steel exhaust using all original flanges - properly done with a catalytic converter, one resonator and rear muffler - excellent progressive sound, much lighter that the factory system. All this work was done personally by a fellow enthusiast with a lot of love, care and attention to detail - which makes a huge difference. Has a few imperfections and patina from being 30 years old - none take away from the car - very small rust spot on the right rear quarter panel nothing else to speak of (southern car until I brought it to NY last year) - under carriage is excellent - no accidents - was always garaged and well looked after. Outstanding example with all the appeal of a real old world Mercedes product without the complications and needs of a vintage MB. Performs excellent in all aspects, everything functions, truly a pleasure to drive, own and look at. The history of how this particular model came to life, it's introduction to the public and the consequences which resulted from this are one of the most interesting automotive stories of the last three decades. Finally these cars are beginning to receive the respect and appreciation that they deserve from the main stream crowd and their values are increasing - they remain an excellent buy as compared to the e30 m3's especially knowing that the 2.3 16V is the superior car of the two - would like for this car to go to a fellow enthusiast. All books, 2 keys, tool kit, first aid kit, service manual on disk, lost of receipts for parts and some from previous owners. Additional photographs plus listed images in high res upon request. PPI's welcome - $1000 Deposit within 24 hours of close - full payment within 3 days of close - sold "as is" - private sale. Send name and phone number if you wish to discuss - serious buyers please - thanks!

You are viewing a pair of 1987 Mercedes 190DT turbo diesels. The red car is a driver and the black/silver is for ‘parts’. As many of you are probably aware these are very rare cars with only around 1300 being produced. Only for 1987. I purchased these cars from an elderly gentleman but was unable to continue to drive them. I have had them for around 6 months and driven the red one for a few thousand miles without issue. Currently I have too many cars and need the room. The red car is the driver and is in the best condition, current mileage is 167,xxx. I have a clear tittle in hand which is in my name. Its red on palomino color combo looks great and was one of only a few produced with this combination. The car does have clear coat issues from the Florida sun. A few paint chips and small dents are also present but this car would show greatly with a fresh coat of paint. The wheels are AMG penta’s, very rare here in the US. These wheels alone can sell for several thousand. They are wrapped in new firestone firehawk tires with have around 500 miles on them. No oil leaks are coming from the undercarriage. It has been parked in a garage my entire ownership and has not dripped one spot of oil onto the floor. The a/c is currently not working and I am not sure as to why. The cars transmission shifts great, nice and smooth when driving slowly but quick and firm when on the throttle. You can feel the boost from the turbo when accelerating, these little turbo diesels really move! Last time I was on the highway the cruise was working as it should. Stops well and does not give any strange noises over bumps. Interior is in good shape. All door panels and carpets are nice without any tears or large stains. The driver’s seat does have some wear in the normal place but nothing that couldn’t be repaired cheaply. Dash has a small crack in the center, nothing major like other 190s. Its steering wheel is in excellent shape. Horn is functioning. No warning lights are on. Thermometer read out is temperamental, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. When it works it shows the temp accurately. Headliner is very nice, no sags or tears. Sunroof functions great, moves back and forward as it should. The passenger’s rear window is not moving but all others go up and down quickly. Trunk carpet is in nice shape, has a full spare, jack and tool kit are present. This car does need a little work on a few things but is an excellent example of a rare Mercedes. The black/silver car is also a 1987 190DT. It could be put back on the road but would take quite a bit of work. I do NOT have a tittle for this car, it was sold to me with a bill of sale as the previous owner could not locate the tittle. I will also be selling this car with only a bill of sale. This cars clear coat has also failed. It appears to have a AMG style body kit with spoiler. All the major drivetrain parts are there and seem to work great. Starts right up and idles properly. I have not driven this car on the road as it needs some brake work. It will drive onto a car transport just fine. Its interior is in rough shape but all the mechanical components are all there. Being sold AS-IS. Please ask all questions before submitting a reasonable offer and I would encourage anyone to come see them in person if possible. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs but I will accommodate/assist any car transporters. Feel free to send messages and thanks for looking.
