We have a clean Carfax available for review. Body panels are laser straight with even space between shut lines all factory specs. The vehicle is largely original paint with even depth and smoothness showing a hi-gloss finish. There are no signs or indications of accidents or body repair. Bolts are unturned and body panels still have the original vin tags affixed. There is no rust anywhere on the vehicle including the undercarriage. The interior is royal blue original leather. There are no rips or tears in the seats. All upholstery is in good shape without sagging or separations. The dashboard is original and has 2 very minor cracks. The car has a mean stance thanks to a set of H&R lowering springs and sporty original 18" AMG Wheels with brand new tires. The interior is in very nice original condition all around. The dash and door panels are in very nice condition with zero cracks or damage to be noted anywhere. The creme beige leather seats are all in very good condition and look great for over 100k, which shows the quality of leather used in this car. All wood grain is in excellent condition with absolutely no cracks, and only some waviness on shifter surround. The carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. The car also still has OEM Mercedes floor mats. All dials and controls function as they should, power windows and antenna also are fully functional. The sound system is also very nice with the Premium Alpine sound system. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should. The trunk compartment is very clean and does have the original jack, tools, and the original spare tire and wheel. This car is all there and in excellent shape with all functions and accessories working as they should. Mechanically, this SEC runs GREAT! I have owned nearly 20 80's and 90's era Mercedes vehicles, and this car is definitely in the top tier! This car has all of its recent service as well as special attention to problematic items like the hydraulic suspension, steering box, valve covers and automatic seat belt guides! The car has also been lowered all the way around via aftermarket springs to improve handling and give the car a more "aggressive" look.The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. The V8 engine is very quick and responsive. It is reliable, easy to fix, and parts are readily available. The 5.6L V8 has been Mercedes workhorse engine for nearly 30 years, so you know it is just plain reliable. The suspension is very tight and feels solid even at autobahn speeds above 90mph, and is claimed to have a top speed of 156 MPH!The car is tight and right as many other even lower mileage cars are, with no leaks or current mechanical issues. Nearly $3000 was just spent bringing the car back up to snuff including multiple seals replaced, new lower oil pan, new power steering box, new lines to hydraulic system in rear, new flex discs in drive line, complete inspection and repair of climate control system, inspection of brakes and components, and new transmission cooler lines. At least 10 hours of seat time has been recorded behind the wheel and the car was driven back across the Mojave Desert from CA to AZ where we are located. All in all, this is one of cleanest and nicest SEC's that I have had the privilege of being associated with. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owner. The windshield is like new with no chips. The soft top is brand new and in excellent condition, and has almost never been up. The hard top has good seals and the headliner is in awesome shape. Overall the exterior appearance of this car is a 9 out of 10. The interior is in great shape all around. The supple original Black leather seats are all in very good condition and look very nice with no rips or ware lines, which shows the quality of leather used in this car. The wood grain is in excellent condition with a minor crack in the center console. The carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. All dials and controls function as they should, power windows are fully functional, as is the power antenna. The sound system is also very nice with an Alpine head unit, original head unit comes with the car. Music is crisp and clear and not overwhelming. The sound system definitely adds to the driving experience of this roadster. This interior is absolutely beautiful and shows the previous owner really took care of the car. The car also has a gorgeous ALL Leather with seat belts "Kinderseat" installed in he back which is great for bringing your small grand children on a road trip!
