HE WAS SPONSORED BY VIPS AT THAT TIME. IN THE EARLY 80'S HE RACED FOR MICHELOB, IN SL380 AND SL450 MB'S. IT DID NOT STOP HERE, AFTER THAT HE STARTED WORKING FOR BUDWEISER'S MOTORSPORTS PROGRAM, AND HANDLED ALL OF THE RACING CONTRACTS FOR HIGH PROFILE RACERS OF THE TIME, INCLUDING BOBBY RAHAL, WALTRIP, AND BERNSTIEN, TO NAME A FEW. THIS WASN'T A GUY WHO JUST WANTED TO BUILD A KILLER Z. THIS CAR WAS BUILT BY A GUY AND HIS FRIENDS THAT KNEW THESE CARS IN AND OUT, AND BUILT IT FROM A RACERS PERSPECTIVE. HE WANTED THE BEST DRIVING 240Z, AND MONEY WAS NO OBJECT WHEN IT CAME TO BUILDING THIS CAR. THIS Z CAR WAS WELL THOUGHT OUT BEFORE IT WAS BUILT, USING ONLY THE BEST PARTS, ENGINE COMBINATION, AND TRANSMISSION. AFTER THE CAR WAS PAINTED LOREN TOOK THE SHELL, FENDERS, HATCH, DOORS AND HOOD BACK TO HIS SHOP AND BEGAN THE RE-ASSEMBLY. HE POWDER COATED ALL COMPONENTS, PLATED ALL THE FASTENERS, BOLTS AND WASHERS, DYED THE NEW AND OLD UPHOLSTERY AND INSTALLED NEW RUBBER SEALS. HIS GOAL WAS TO HAVE A NEW CAR.
