1994 Mercury Capri XR2 Convertible 2-Door 1994 Mercury Capri XR2 Convertible 2-Door 1.6L

This is a very rare car. The XR2 has a sport suspension, turbocharger, and spoiler package, not found on the base model. Only 366 were produced and as few as 150 remain in the world. It is extremely dependable. It has the 1.6 liter Mazda engine with four valves/cylinder, dual overhead cams, and intercooled turbocharger. It runs strong and smooth and uses no oil. The 5 speed transmission shifts like new. The clutch is very good as well. The condition is good. I would drive it anywhere. The tires and struts have less than 1,000 miles on them. It has after market wheels, but comes with the factory rims that are in very good condition. Included is a factory hard top with factory storage cart. The soft top is like new and works perfectly. The heater blows hot and the A/C is very cold. The 1994 Capri was the first year that used R134 refrigerant. Although, I've never had to add any in the 10+ years that we've owned it. The pop up headlights, power locks/windows, stereo, gauges all work good. The battery is less than one year old. The cruise control stopped working last fall. I don't know what the issue is. The air bag light recently came on as well. It has a clear Kansas title. I have used AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-30 as long as I've owned it. Selling as is with no warranty. ALSO, many Capris suffer from alternator/water pump belt break. This is NO fun! However, the vehicle featured here has been repaired to prevent this problem from occurring. I have for sale my 1985 Mercury Capri RS. The car is mechanically the same as a Foxbody Mustang GT and just has different cosmetics. These cars are very rare and this one is in very good shape. No rust on the body or frame. The car was repainted in the last 2 years. The car is 5 Speed manual and has a hurst short shifter, Ram hd clutch, hurst line lock, weld wheels, a holley carburetor and a electric fuel pump. The motor was replaced with a lower mileage unit by the previous owner and the body has about 125000 miles on it. The only negatives, the headliner is missing as well as the windshield molding, the front tires are a little too big and rub, and it is missing the headunit for the stereo.

Very original 1986 Mercury Capri 5.0L. Factory T-top car, with every available option for the 1986 model year. This is a very rare car, with only 1,256 T-top Capri's being produced, and car is approx. 1-170 Oxford White cars. With options, the car in undoubtedly even rarer (The math says this is approx a 1 of <20 car) Beautiful Canyon Red interior, with seats that are 9.5/10. The only interior blemishing is some discoloring and hazing on the dash/instrument panels. Paint is this cars biggest issue. Although it is a driver-quality respray, it has aged considerably and is cracking in areas (Can supply in-depth pictures at request). Car is 100% turn-key, drive it anywhere. Recent maintenance to include: Inner-outer tie rods/balljoints/KYB shocks & struts/KYB Quad-shock/SVT Cobra springs (have originals). Water pump/thermostat/hoses.
