I encourage a physical inspection strongly to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. No vehicle is perfect to everyone. Each vehicle has its strengths, styles, tendencies and shortcomings. Therefore, despite our best efforts to verify a vehicle’s mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturer’s workmanship or previous owner’s diligence in care. It is for this reason that all vehicles are sold ”WHERE/IS, AS/IS”. We have described the above mentioned vehicle to the best of our ability. However, with all classic and exotic vehicles, the condition is subjective. Please be advised that no oral or written statements concerning any vehicle constitutes a representation or warranty of the condition of the said vehicle. INDUSTRY UNIQUE RETURN POLICY: If for any reason you receive your vehicle and have buyer’s remorse, are not happy with the vehicle or just don’t want it for any reason we will purchase the car back from you. When you purchase a pre-owned vehicle it is not a new vehicle. Any used vehicle can have normal wear and blemishes. Before placing a bid please read the descriptions thoroughly and view all pictures. Feel free to call our Sales Hotline at (603) 818-8511 for a "walk around" verbal description of each vehicle we have in our warehouse. Also, please keep in mind that we specialize in cars older than 25 model years and we do our absolute best to represent these cars in a direct, honest, and fair manner with over 100 pictures for each car along with a video to let you see the car move and hear the car run. Our written ads reflect both the fact that we really love these cars and feel that we are saving a part of America. We do our best to describe some of the features that you might find important. As a buyer of a car that is older than 25 model years, unless the car is represented as perfect (which our cars are not), you need to be aware that there are many smaller things that may or may not work, or may work one day and not the next, in these cars. This is due to the fact that they are over 25 years old. When bidding on a car please keep this in mind. They may have small dings, small scratches, and minor imperfections. The interior may also be worn due to corresponding miles on vehicle. They interior featured extra trim on the fascia and a chrome bezel for the loudspeaker grille. The MGA 1600 Mark II was only manufactured in 1961 & 1962.Original Production Figure for the 1962 Mark II Roadster: 2944 Total Vehicles Worldwide History of the 1956-1962 MG MGA Introduced for 1956 model year, the MGA roadster replaced the aging T-Series cars. Powered by a 68 horsepower 1,489cc overhead valve engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission it featured, independent front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering and a solid rear axle with leaf springs. Braking was by hydraulic drums at all corners. Sales in the first full year (1956) were 13,394 and rose to 16,467 for 1957, by which time horsepower was up to 72 horsepower and a coupe was added. In 1959, the MGA 1600 was introduced with a larger 79.5 horsepower engine and front disc brakes. The final iteration of the MGA was the 1600 Mk II, with a 90 horsepower 1,622cc engine, and minor styling changes. The higher performance MGA Twin Cam was produced from 1958 into 1960 with a 108 horsepower twin cam engine and four wheel disc brakes. The rarest of all MGAs is the “Deluxe,” which mates the Twin Cam chassis and a 1600 or Mk II engine. MGAs are ideal first collector cars. They’re affordable, simple to work on, rugged and attractive. Parts are readily available and moderately priced (Hagerty, 2015). Per Hagerty’s website, Mark II Roadster in Condition 2 valued as of Sept. 2015 is at $31,200. However, we’re selling for $26,999. Condition 2: cars could win a local or regional show. They can be former #1 cars that have been driven or have aged. Seasoned observers will have to look closely for flaws, but will be able to find some not seen by the general public. The paint, chrome, glass and interior will all appear as excellent. No excessive smoke will be seen on startup, no unusual noises will emanate from the engine compartment. The vehicle will drive as a new car of its era would. The one word description for #2 cars is "excellent” (Hagerty, 2015). Past Awards: Ponte Vedra Car Show At TPC Sawgrass: Best Post War European Please contact if interested. Motivated Seller.

For Sale: 1959 MGA Twin Cam #YD3/1973 British Motor Heritage Industry Trust Certification #2015/425 Built: 5 May 1959 Dispatched to USA: 8 May 1959 I fell in love with British Sports Cars back in 1968, and I absolutely love this car! It’s a Red on Red, MGA Twin Cam with 108 hp from a stunningly beautiful 1588 cc, Twin Overhead Cam Engine, kept immaculately clean throughout. This is a Level One (1), award winning Car that has the perfect balance between weight and power. Coupled with tight, responsive rack & pinion steering and four wheel disk brakes, it is a dashing experience. The seating posture is just right, and the windscreen is proportioned and positioned accurately to provide a thrilling, yet comfortable and fun ride. Developed from MG’s racing heritage and in response to its counterparts in racing, only 2,111 Twin Cams were produced. Today, a Twin Cam commands a significant premium among collectors, due to their rarity and significant boost in performance over the standard MGA and other competitors. This is a stunning, properly restored and well sorted example, finished in dark red with red leather interior, dashboard, cockpit rails and black top. The car also features side curtains, tonneau cover, correct Dunlop center lock knock-off wheels, proper jack and period vintage tool roll. Every effort has been made to keep this car as an original example, with superb restoration, throughout. Early on, MGA Twin Cams gained a reputation for mechanical fragility. Today, those issues have been resolved. When properly set-up, as is this car, Twin Cams are the reliable and exhilarating driving experience for which they were designed. This testament comes from decades of driving experience in various British Sports Cars. This one is the most fun … hands down! $82,000

Bavarian Motors 713-320-3059 1962 MG MGA Mark II - Excellent Mark II! 1962 MG MGA Mark II - Excellent Mark II! White / Red999,999 Miles / VIN: GHNL2104066 Contact Mark Counts at Bavarian Motors at 713-320-3059 8561 Rayson Road, Ste. C Houston, TX 77380 View This Seller's Other Auctions 1962 MG MGA Mark II - Excellent Mark II! White Exterior / Red Interior VIN: GHNL2104066 2 Doors, Rear Wheel Drive, Convertible, 4 Cylinders, Manual Inventory ID: 104066 Vehicle Description In 1955, MG made the momentous decision to make a complete departure from its pre-WW II roots and introduced the "first of a new line" of cars - the MGA. First introduced at the Frankfort Motor Show, the MGA represented a radical departure from the "squared curvaceousness" of the MG T-Series. The MGA began when an MG designer, Syd Enever, penned a sleek designed for George Phillips LeMans race car. This car placed Enevers body panels on a TD frame and created an MG like no one had ever seen before. Owing to the pure beauty of Enevers work, a prototpye was built and presented to British Motor Company ("BMC") chairman, Leonard Lord. Initially, Lord rejected the idea of building the MGA because he had just signed a deal for Austin with Donald Healey (and unknowingly created what was to become the Austin Healey 3000). However, owing to falling MG sales, Lord subsequently changed his mind and ordered the MGA into production. As with all prior MG models, MG adopted a body on frame design which (essentially) took an MG Magnette chassis and bolted the (wooden) floorboards to its bottom. MG then fitted a BMC B-Series engine into the Magnettes chassis and connected it to a traditional 4 speed, non-synchromesh 1st gear transmission. The initial engine placed in the MGA was a 1489 cc engine producing between 68 and 72 horsepower. This engine (termed the "1500"), was remarkably long-lived and extremely durable. The engine gave the car a top speed of approximately 98 miles per hour and allowed the car to go from 0 to 60 in roughly 16 seconds. The original MGA came equipped with drum brakes at all corners. The car was sold with standard steel wheels but wire wheels were an available option. The convertible version of the MGA could be purchased with an optional hard top. Convertibles did not have roll-up windows and were instead equipped with highly permeable side curtains. Convertible MGAs did not come equipped with door handles. Rather, "pull strings" were attached inside the cars doors. The car - in prototypical British roadster fashion - were sparsely equipped with lights, wipers, a horn, a radio and a heater. In 1961, after "experimenting" with a Twin Cam variant and then replacing it with a 1588 cc engine, MG produced a "Mark II" version of the MGA. The "Mark II was equipped with a 1622 cc engine which produced roughly 90 horsepower. It was capable of propelling the car to 105 miles per hour and could go 0- to 60 in roughly 13 seconds. This engine greatly improved the MGAs performance. In addition, the Mark II added disc brakes. Placing aside the increased displacement and the brake modification, the most salient distinctions between the Mark I and the Mark II concerned the front grill and the brake lights. The front grill was redesigned to be "offset inwards" from the body panels while the rear taillights were rotated horizontally. In addition, the "MGA badge" on the front fenders was modified to read "Mark II." In sum total, these distinctions are somewhat minor. MGAs were (and are) widely popular. In fact, of the 101,000 MGAs produced, over 95% were exported out of England. The cars popularity can be traced to the following factors: (1) Great looks; (2) Good performance; (3) Mechanical reliability; and (4) Easy maintenance. At one point the MGA was so popular that it was actually raced in the NASCAR Grand National Series. MGAs have made numerous appearances in movies like Blue Hawaii, Animal House, Cool Runnings, and Guess Whos Coming to Dinner. Recently, the MGA made a conspicuous appearance in the Showtime series Masters of Sex. 1962 was the final year of MGA production. It was replaced by the much lower valued MGB, a car which continues to be undervalued by the marketplace. After I obtained this car, I thoroughly inspected it and found it to be in very good overall shape mechanically. The paint was new and the tires were good. The chrome was in acceptable condition and the mechanicals were solid. Further, I did not find any rust on the car or the chassis. However, in an effort to stop the incessant oil leaks that plague all MGAs, I replaced the rear pinon seal, cleaned the case ventilation system and tightened all applicable bolts. After that, I replaced the seat covers with a luxurious red vinyl and contrasting black piping. I also had the dash and cockpit pads recovered. I then sourced a new vinyl top but, given the existing soft top and the hard top, I did not install it. In all actuality, it is not absolutely necessary but it is included with the sale nevertheless. Finally, I thoroughly cleaned the car and its undercarriage. As it sits, the car does everything you would want an MGA to do - stops, starts, runs, drives, shifts - and only leaks a minimal amount of oil. Further, it is rust free, is stunningly beautiful and is in virtually perfect running order. If you are interested in seeing this car in operation then please see my YouTube channel - theBavarianMotors - for a short video. In regard to value, as of August 2015, the Hagertys website values a 1962 MGA Mark II Roadster in Condition 1 at $30,000, and a Condition 2 car at $20,600. Owing to the mechanical integrity of this car, its rust free chassis, the cosmetic enhancements I have made and its hardtop I believe that this car is closer to a number 1 car than a number 2 car and have priced it accordingly. Obviously, I am not in the car business to give cars away (and I will not give this one away) but I am open to negotiate on price. If you are interested in adding a rock solid MGA to your collection then please feel free to contact Mark Counts at 713-320-3059. Excellent paint! Rust free! Great mechanicals! New tires! Fast, sexy, reliable! Wonderful car! Additional Photos Finance Please ensure that you have obtained financing prior to bidding on one of our cars. Warranty Unless expressly stated otherwise, our cars are sold "As Is" and without warranty. However, some of our cars come with the full manufacturers warranty and some are eligible for extended warranties. Please discuss the potential purchase of an extended warranty with your sales representative. Shipping Unless stated otherwise in the vehicles listing, shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. There are many reputable transporters across the country and the Buyer is required to contract directly with one of them. If required, we can locate a shipper for the Buyer but will not assume responsibility for the vehicle once it is consigned to a shipper. Terms and Conditions Terms and Conditions All vehicles I sell have clean and clear titles. I do NOT sell salvage vehicles or vehicles with reconditioned titles. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and there are no representations or warranties except those contained in the written sales contract or bill of sale. The winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours by phone to start the transaction. The winning bidder must respond within 2 days after the auction with a $500 deposit required via wire transfer, Visa/MC, or certified funds(cashiers check) to start the transaction. It is understood that the vehicle is sold on an "As Is" basis. Buyer are free to purchase with or without an inspection. I strongly encourage pre-purchase inspections. These inspections are relatively cheap and help ensure that the Buyer is completely satisfied with their purchase. All sales are subject to a state inspection fee and a Vehicle Inventory Tax imposed on the dealership by State law. All sales are subject to a $199 dealer service fee and a $99 document fee. Texas residents must pay applicable sales tax and a registration fee. Out-of-state customers may pay tax and register the vehicle in their own applicable state. Upon request, we may be able to complete the buyers home state registration. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. I will arrange for shipping, if requested. Also, transportation to and from the airport and our location is buyers responsibility. I make every attempt to deliver vehicles to clients with two keys, key fobs, manuals, booklets, NAV CDs, wheel locks, tool kits, etc..., however, from time-to-time, a vehicle may be missing one or more of these items and I cannot guarantee that they will be included in the vehicle at the time of sale. Please call for the exact accessories included for the vehicle. For Canadian car buyers: If the title is to be released at the time of delivery (which is much mandatory to move the vehicle through customs), a wire transfer is the fastest way to complete the sale. If the payment is not by bank wire transfer, i.e., certified bank check or approved loan check, the title will only be released when all funds have cleared. Please keep in mind that the funds verification process can take up to 15 days. We will assist you with the documentation needed to clear Canadian customs, but knowing exactly which documents are required by your home province are the buyers responsibility. Requirements for Canada can be found at www.riv.ca under "Registration of import vehicles, Canada". Notice to All Bidders Please remember your eBay obligations. When you bid, you are entering into a legal and binding contract. Do not bid if you do not intend to buy this vehicle! All bidders must have pre-approved loans or other financing. The winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours by phone to complete the sale and to receive a purchase order via fax. Major Credit Cards are accepted. Please call for limits and details (credit card charges may incur a service fee). Payments are accepted through paypal.com (Deposit only-$1,000 max.). Please call for limits. I do not accept Escrow or E-Loan. Please call for exceptions prior to bidding. Please remember that you have the option to call for the reserve price direct at 713-320-3059. I appreciate your interest in this auction and look forward to seeing your bid. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!

Automotive enthusiasts have considered MGAs as one of the more affordable classic sports cars for some time now. Collectors appreciate the cars’ vintage appeal and quintessential British charm. These "As" share the same traits as their English brethren, like Jaguars, Austin-Healeys, and Triumphs: top-down fun, raspy engines, full gauge instrumentation, and simplicity. Nowadays, MGAs are fetching great interest and offer solid investment potential. A car of this status can only appreciate in value as the years go on. The MGA roadster offered here is a great weekend driver. It's not perfect, but is just right for the enthusiast who has always wanted one. This MG still requires some tinkering and sorting, but what 56 year-old car doesn't? Here's a fine opportunity to get into a very collectible British icon and start living the dream! The MG is a blast to own and drive. This classic is a real crowd-pleaser and will make you and everyone else in its presence smile. MGAs have always had a cult following, epitomizing the sports car formula of top-down motoring, minimal accessory gimmicks, and plenty of charm. You may have always admired these sporty convertibles, or maybe even owned one years ago, but suppose you wanted to purchase one of these appreciating classics now? Unfortunately, over the decades many MGAs have fallen prey to neglect, rust, accidents, or unknowing owners who drove them into the ground. Not this example though; it's a survivor. After five decades, this classic still rides proudly in the essential MG tradition - sporty and thoroughly British. Green exterior resembles the color of money. It shines nicely and is very alluring - not to show standards, but to "driver" quality. You can still polish and wax it, and it'll look great. Body panels, and underside are dry and show no corrosion or paint bubbles. The MG’s sporty, yet traditional interior layout features chrome gauges and a lots of knobs to pull. Banjo steering wheel completes the package. Interior is in nice condition. Seats are in great shape, showing no tears or rips. Cushions are thick and supportive. Some trim pieces are not installed, such as door panels. Speedometer, fuel, temperature, oil pressure, and voltage gauges work. Tachometer does not. Signals and brake lights function fine. Tail-lights when in the "running" position do not work; headlights do. Horn works. I have some of the interior parts not shown, and will include them with the sale. ffffffffffffffff Defining the term "sporty" are a pair of removable side curtains, which are in good shape, to use when the top is on. Soft top is in good condition. Traditional three plastic windows are clear and flexible. There is a slight tear on the front of the top that can be repaired or patched. The motor is a 4-cylinder MG 1800 unit with dual SU carburetors. This is not the original engine to the car, and there are some modifications that have been made, but I still have the stock parts to bring back to original. Also, I have another engine block - a 1500 - that came with the MG when I acquired it over 9 years ago. This motor may be the car's factory motor, but I am not certain. It will be included with the sale, if you want it. ffffffffffffffff The current motor runs strong and fires right up, even when cold, by pulling out the choke lever a bit. Oil pressure is good and it doesn't overheat. Like all British cars, it leaks some oil. The carbs could stand to be properly adjusted/balanced or the timing dialed in. Newer style alternator is mounted to the engine block using a fabricated, non-factory bracket. This should be corrected, as the alternator shimmies and will tend to rattle against the inner fenders of the engine bay when the motor is revved. It could also be due to a motor mount. Some of the missing engine bay components I do have and will include them with the sale. The gearbox is in good condition and there's no popping out of any gears. Transmission has the old "crash-box" non-synchro first gear. Brakes have new lines and the cylinders were also replaced on all wheels. The car will require two 6-volt batteries. The ones currently installed are old and require a "jump" to start the motor. I've owned this MG for nine years and have enjoyed driving it through the back roads and to the beach. Be sure to see the short V I D E O of the MGA running & driving at the end of the photo presentation. Trunk is plain and simple, containing spare steel wheel and tire. Bottom is solid, with no rust or corrosion, so that's an added bonus. ffffffffffffffff The raspy roar of the exhaust....the allure of a sporty European design...the cache of a vintage British motorcar....all these tickle the senses and add to the pride of MGA ownership. Driving a British roadster makes you feel like a kid in a candy store...excited and full of energy. The experience is pure fun - both for driver and passenger. This car instantly transfers you to another era when things were simple and taking an afternoon drive was pleasurable and something you looked forward to. ffffffffffffffff A classic MGA is a British icon that presents a good value and opportunity in the world of collectible automobiles, as they are quite sought after. This MG has not been restored, and requires the typical maintenance that comes with owning such as sports car. This tangible investment is safer than the stock market and is something you can enjoy, again and again. Why not mix business with pleasure? This 1959 MGA is being advertised in a Buy it Now, at $15,950 format. There is no auction, where missing out on a good deal in the last 15 seconds is a tragedy we all know too well. No, this vintage sports car is being offered For Sale right now, at a disclosed price, so don't let it get away! DO NOT BID unless you have the necessary funds readily available to pay for vehicle and you are SERIOUS about owning it. NOTE: seller may remove car early from auction as this vehicle is advertised elsewhere and may be sold before auction’s end Please keep in mind that when purchasing a used vehicle, most cars are not "perfect" and minor imperfections may be visible upon closer inspection. farm fresh 1957 mg mga roadster the engine , body and transmission are numbers matching but the car is in rough rough shape it is basically a parts car PLEASE READ WHOLE POST I am relisting this due to buyer not contacting me back I will try to paint a perfect picture of what you are looking at but feel free to email or call me with questions , the mga was just taken out of a barn on the east end of long island when I purchased the mga I was in pieces and for all intensive purposes it is still in pieces , the front end of the car was still together but the rear clip was completely off the frame what you are looking at in the pictures is the entire car put together temporarily , the rear clip is just laying on the frame and the fenders are being held on with one hanger bolt , when the car is purchased all the parts you are looking at basically will lift off the rear of the car ,I temporarily put the parts on so everyone can see that I have basically the whole car here , now the good most parts are intact and seam to be in pretty good condition for a old car the engine turns over the rear end spins freely the transmission seams to go through the gears , the shocks seem to work the dash is pretty solid tires and wheels look good , the front clip of car looks great and I think I have about 90% of the car , now the bad the car has been sitting for 30 plus years and needs a complete restoration the floors are gone and the frame rails under the rocker panels have a lot of rust and rot . I am not a mechanic nor a body man I just like to tinker with old cars and I happen to be lucky enough to stumble on to this gem , the vin# is bp15gb 19711 I think from research it is a 1957 that is supposed to be white and built for export to the states , the car will need to be towed and I will not ship it , I also will not give the car away I think there are to many valuable rare parts to let it go for the wrong number so please do not low ball me , my c-e-ll # is 63one --96five-six015 text me a question , I have tried to describe the car to the best of my ability and I will be selling it locally so I reserve the right to end listing at any point car is being sold as is with a bill of sale thanks fro looking and good luck
