2003 Nissan Xterra 4x4 This is one of very few Xterras ever sold with factory original Atomic Orange paint. It is in good condition inside and out and runs well. The 4WD engages as it should and this truck handles snow wonderfully. Brand new tires were installed in May of 2016 and services are up to date. I am only selling this because I need something a bit larger with a third row. It is currently my daily driver so the milage will continue to increase. A brand new headliner was installed in July of 2016 to replace the original which had started to sag, and at that time I also had the driver's seat rebuilt with new foam padding. It has an aftermarket radio and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass and temperature displays. All of the accessories that are frequently missing from these cars are there, including the owner's manual, cup holder inserts and rear security shade. There is currently an intermittent engine light, I've had it checked and the code says its the gas cap. I already replaced the gas cap and will take it to my mechanic to be sure there are no other emissions issues prior to the sale being completed. It did pass Connecticut emissions in June of 2016 and isn't due for a retest until June of 2018. The title is clear and in my possession. I have truly enjoyed owning this Xterra and I'm confident the next wonder will too! Please ask if you have any questions or would like to come see it. Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology: Salvage title means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, the Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that mean the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it.
