I LIVE IN NW ARKANSAS ABOUT 1 HOUR EAST OF TULSA OKLAHOMA. MY NUMBER IS 479-790-0354 YOU WILL NEVER SEE A CUSTOM BUILT CAR THAT IS AS NICE AS THIS ONE. IF IT WAS ON THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR AND THEY TOLD YOU THIS WAS THE NEW 2017 OLDS EL CAMINO'S YOU WOULD BELIEVE IT. THIS IS NOT AN EL CAMINO WITH AN OLDS FRONT END ON IT. THIS IS A 1967 OLDS CUTLASS WITH A 1965 EL CAMINO ROOF AND TAIL GATE AND BED. HAS VERY NICE LIFT UP CUSTOM TONO COVER WITH POWER RAMS. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT ! CAR LOOKS NEW. ( ALWAYS GARAGED. LIVED LAST 8 YEARS IN PHOENIX ARIZONA. ( ORIGINALLY FROM CALIFORNIA ) NO RUST EVER. EVEN THE TAIL GATE FITS PERFECT UP ON THE OLDS QUARTER PANELS. IVE HAD SOME CUSTOM CAR GURU'S LOOK AT THIS CAR, AND SAY IT MUST HAVE BEEN A PROTO TYPE, AND NOT CUSTOM BUILT. YOU CAN LOOK UNDER NEATH, INSIDE OUT, UP SIDE DOWN AND THERE ARE NO FLAWS ANYWHERE. IT EVEN HAS THE SPARE TIRE WHERE THE EL CAMINO'S HAD THEM. PAINT IS BEAUTIFUL AND BODY IS RUST FREE AND LASER STRAIGHT. INTERIOR IS KILLER. FACTORY COLD AIR, POWER STEERING, AND POWER BRAKES. FACTORY 403 V-8 AND FACTORY 4-SPEED. FACTORY BUCKETS, TACH, AND CONSOLE WITH VACUUM GAUGE. DRIVES BETTER THAN ANY EL CAMINO IVE EVER OWNED. DRIVES PEOPLE CRAZY ! THEY FIRST SAY "OH SOME ONE PUT A OLDS FRONT END ON AN EL CAMINO", THEN THEY LOOK AT THE QUARTER PANELS AND SAY HAY ! THIS AIN'T NO EL CAMINO. IT IS SO WELL DONE EVEN THE AIR SHOCKS STILL AIR UP ON THE PACKAGE TRAY. I JUST PUT NEW 17 INCH WHEELS AND TIRES ON IT, BUT STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL 442 WHEELS AND WHITE LETTER TIRES AND WHEELS IF YOU LIKE THEM BETTER. THEY ALSO ADDED THE 442 EMBLEMS ETC. RARE OFFERING - 1968 OLDS TORONADO - VERY EXCELLENT CONDITION - 57,317 ACTUAL MILES - GARAGE KEPT - OFFERED FOR SALE BY SECOND OWNER - CLEAN TITLE - In 1966, Oldsmobile introduced its sporty but comfortable Toronado, which was based on the same A-body platform as the Cadillac Eldorado and Buick Riviera. The Toronado was most notable as the first American car since the Cord 812 to feature front-wheel drive and V-8 power as well as for its distinctive, angular styling and hidden headlamps. Prior to its introduction, the Toronado was extensively tested and developed, and it is believed that well over one million test miles were recorded to sort out the cars unorthodox front-drive layout. Such development work was necessary because the Toronados 425 cubic inch Super Rocket V-8 produced 385 horsepower, uncharted territory in the world of front-wheel drive. Its Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic was chain-driven from the engine, an ingenious solution to a difficult packaging problem. The Toronado impressed the motoring world, winning Motor Trends Car of the Year for 1966. Despite its 5,000-pound weight, the Toronado handled quite well and could reach the then noteworthy top speed of 135 miles per hour. The drive train was even used, mostly unchanged, in GMC motor homes of the 1970s. This 1968 Oldsmobile Toronado has been an Arkansas car since purchased new from Bradley Dealership in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a well maintained example. It is finished in an eye-catching turquoise with the sporty darker turquoise taunea roof trim and has a matching turquoise interior, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, automatic transferring the power from the 455 cu inch engine. Loaded with options, this car represents one of the automotive milestones of the 1960s and one of the most important models that Oldsmobile ever built. A straight and very pretty Arkansas car, it will lend itself well to long, fast and comfortable cruising and will be a joy both to look at and to drive.......and head turning appreciative looks you will get.
