I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened a small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast. I brought the maintence up to par, I also had my tranny shop fully rebuild the automatic tranny to a bulletproof standard, including the big billet converter, oversize cooler, and some other updates I have a photo of recipt from my shop who has been rebuilding these for 25 years and includes balance of 12 month warranty which I'll transfer to new owner. Rubber is ok for now, real good tight front end, ball joints, ty rods steering box all, brakes all good Interior is good with all power options working and ice cold air, body is excellent condition Portland does not use sale so vehicles stay real clean and don't rust. For sale is a 1998.5 Dodge 2500 diesel 4-door long bed truck with a 24v 2000 drive train and 5-speed manual. 4x4 works fine. It has a custom 8 inch lift. Works great, handles very well for a lifted vehicle. 75% 35X12.50 firestone destination mt's with new 17in Dcenti wheels. The '00 drive train had 205k miles on it. All the gauges work fine. Engine has rebuilt injector pump. Rebuilt transmission and transfer case. New Southbend ceramic clutch with Southbend hydraulics. Fass air/fuel separation fuel system. New brakes all the way around. Edge CTS monitor with timing box turn knob for programming. 50hp injectors. Mild set-up that is great for towing and lower egts. 4in full exhaust. Paint is equipment grade so it is not the nicest in the world but still looks good. No rust at all. The cab did have rust but that's why it has a 1998.5 cab now and no rust anywhere else on truck. Body does have some dings, most are visible in pics. Nicer locking canopy top comes with the truck. Line-x bed liner. Has the common loppy idle but truck runs and drives solid. Plenty of power. Heater, a/c all works. Interior is in decent shape overall, not perfect. Dash has no cracks in it which is rare. Pwr windows and nice aftermarket keyless entry alarm system. Aftermarket headlights & taillights. Comes with the stock ones as well. It also comes with a nicer entire front seat that is power. Will throw it in with the truck and another set of mirrors too. 1960 Ford F-100 Custom Truck. Best driving and handling vintage truck I have ever owned. The power steering is awesome and drives like a new truck. There is no play and is super tight and handles great. The motor is a 351 Modified totally rebuilt. New rods, bearings, rings, pistons, lifters, timing chain, heads, valves with a custom speed pro cam. The carb is an Autolite 4100. Hi volume oil pump. Custom radiator with 1 inch wide 4 cores. There is 6,300 miles on this motor. Everything was touched in this motor. FMX Trans with shift kit Lokar Shifter. A sway bar from a ford bronco was added and handles great.The bed has a custom snap on tonneau cover that looks great and really ties in the lines of the truck. The paint is Washington Blue as Ford color from the 30's factory. The paint is not perfect but looks good the way it is. I will include extra paint and lots of extra odds and ends. I am also including a power brake booster and master cylinder combo kit. I had it from another project and would be great on this truck. The breaks are great and has plenty of stopping power the way it is. Needs a head liner and the interior will be done. Over all the truck is super straight and looks bad ass the way it is. This truck is pretty much done besides the headliner. All the hard expensive work is already done. This truck is really fast and drives like a regular newer truck. It is lowered but just the right amount to still handle good. The interior is clean but it needs a headliner. All the lights blink and glow. The heater was rebuilt and works great. I live in Oregon and the heater blasts in just a couple minutes. I was going to let my son have it for his first car but when I took my wife for a ride and showed her how fast it was she said no way. It a rocket ship for sure. I drive this truck every day to the post office and sometimes on weekends for fun and shows. Great tires and current tags. FYI I am selling this truck because I want to buy a boat. This is a great truck and you would be hard pressed to find many for sale with this set up. Here is a great opportunity investment. These Short Box 4x4's are getting more difficult to find. Exterior: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the trucks exterior a 7. While the truck shows nicely in it's original Light Medium Blue, the paint is fading on the hood, there is a dent and scratch at the top of the passenger side bed, and there is some rust in the rear bed corners. I found replacements at www.lmctruck.com for 29.95 each plus shipping. There is also some rust in the bed floor near the tailgate and bed floor near the cab (see pictures) Floor boards and lower rockers are all in excellent condition. Interior: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the trucks interior a 7. While the interior is extremely clean the seat will need to be recovered, while the seat still holds it's original material it is cracking, coming apart at the pleats and seams. Dash has a couple of cracks as well. All guages work, horn, tilt steering, trailer brakes, and wiper delay. All lights work except drivers front parking light and passenger rear back up light. Will need new sockets for this. Mechanics: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the trucks mechanics a 9. This truck runs, drives, and performs out awesome and sounds very healthy. This truck will sit you back in your seat if your not paying attention. There has been a lot of mechancial work performed, (see list of recent work below). I have a 1967 Ford 250 Ranger Camper Special Custom cab with a 390 V8 engine for sale. Gorgeous white exterior with green interior. This truck runs great, no leaks, no over heating. This truck does need knew brakes, it pulls left when stopping and does not stop in reverse, had a very unqualified individual fix them for transportation. This truck has only had one owner since purchased brand new in 1967, has 85,xxx Original miles, everything has been documented from oil changes to repairs since the vehicle was brand new. The Owner has included couple dozen registration cards from 1967 to 2006, since then it has been sitting since 2006 under a tree, tags are also from 2006. Have not attempted to get registration. Truck does have a clean title, the original owners daughter is selling it after her mother passed away. The radio is original but not connected, plays Atrac. The glove box interior is not installed but included. Engine is a 390 V8, the air cleaner is not pictured but included, needs to be cleaned. There is a box of wiring and random parts. Included is a entire envelope of documents including the original Temporary registration from purchase in 1967.Truck comes with a Large fitted canopy, there are scratches and a lot of discoloration from age and spots in areas from the tree. There are some areas with rust on the hood and random areas around the body of the truck. Strait body, no dents and in amazing condition despite small random areas of rust. Well, here's the low down on this super solid looking & running 1996 Ford F-250 We are listing this truck on it's own, but are tossing in a FREE lumber rack I bought it about 3 years ago from a local firefighter, used it around the farm & don't think I put more than 2,000 miles on it He wasn't able to document it, but had just put a 65k mile 1997 5.8L V8 gas motor in it, and when you fire it & listen to it purr, & feel the torque, there is no reason to doubt it's a low miles motor but I CANNOT prove the mileage, but in replacing parts on it I can attest it's a 97 motor. UPDATE 5/14/15: I drove the truck to the dump today & when I got home the front brake caliper seems to have frozen up. I plan to replace both front calipers/rotos/pads early next week, but if a buyer makes offer/purchase before I get the chance to make the simple repair, I'll knock $150 off the top of the price. I recently purchased a new 2014 Mustang GT premium. i knew going in the basic kind of car i wanted. they didn't have what i wanted at the dealership so they searched all nearby dealers and couldn't find what i was looking. we ended up placing a custom order threw ford to get the exact car i wanted. he quoted me a price, after incentives including taxes, and all applicable fees. i took my vehicle specs and the price he gave me and contacted local dealers to see if they could beat Laurel Fords offer, and they either offered a higher amount or didn't answer back at all. it was the best deal within 75 miles of where i lived. i decided to place the order threw Laurel Ford and it took about 9 weeks to get built and delivered. they kept me updated on my vehicle status with weekly emails. they did not pressure me into buying any additional upgrades or packages. when i the vehicle finally came i was relieved to find it was exactly what i wanted but also the price i paid was the exact price he quoted me 9 weeks prior. they are very transparent with their offers, so if they say this is what you will pay, you can expect to pay that and not a penny more. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the car and helped me get acquainted with all its gadgets. i also want to mention i traded in my old car towards this purchase. they gave me the highest amount Kelly Blue book said my car was worth. it was overall a pleasant experience. i will buy from them for life and recommend them to anyone interested in a new car. For sale is my 1955 Chevy second series truck. The paint is decent and driver quality (20 footer), the body is extremely straight and rust-free. I can find no body filler, and the truck is from California. It has an export VIN, so I'm guessing it was exported to Mexico, as it's that solid. It was registered in California in the 80's and 90's, and was purchased about 2.5 years ago by a couple in Portland Oregon for their private collection. I bought the truck in January and it still had it's original 235 inline 6 cylinder and toploader 4 speed on the floor (three speed plus a DEEP granny low). I've since installed a brand GM Goodrich 350 crate engine with new Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carburetor, new Pertronix Flamethrower distributor and coil, new Taylor wires, new high temp coated ram's horn manifolds, etc... It runs great, and should make about 250 horsepower and 300+ lb. ft. of torque. I reused the toploader transmission by finding the correct cast iron bellhousing, and installed a new Pioneer cast steel flywheel. As mentioned above, I can find no body filler, but there is on patch tig welded in the floor (see last picture). They typically rusted through due water accumulating under the rubber mat. I've installed carpet for a little more luxurious feel and a nicer look. The rest of the interior was already done when I bought it, and looks very nice. I removed the heater box, but it did not leak, the fan works great, and all the parts are in a box and will be included with sale. The lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, and gauges all work, but I did disconnect the ammeter and install a voltage gauge under the dash. The oak in the bed could use refinishing, and there are dents and dings inside the bed on the sides, but they're not visible outside. It also has drum brakes and the original suspension, but brakes well and steers just as you'd expect. These are not meant for slalom racing!
