Well, you should have a wildly popular halo that generates huge buzz and creates truckloads of revenue. In the case of Plymouth and their coveted Road Runner Superbird, that wasn't quite the result. In fact, the division managed to barely surpass the 1,920 cars required to meet NASCAR's renewed homologation rule. And while these slow sellers lingered on lots and didn't do much for the brand during their day, their outrageous nature virtually guaranteed that, in time, they would become exclusive classics serious collectors dream of owning. This highly authentic Superbird is a fully documented, 3-owner dreamboat that wraps rare Black, White and B5 Blue aesthetics around an original 440/A727 drivetrain. And if you're a serious MoPar enthusiast who's looking for a crown jewel classic to lead your collection, it's a chance to turn your reverie into reality! HISTORY Throughout the '60s, Chrysler and Ford were heavily vested in the "Win on Sunday, sell on Monday" sales mentality. And Dodge's Charger 500, despite its NASCAR-inspired tweaks, just wasn't getting the job done. In an attempt to one up Ford's slick and equally fast Torino, Chrysler went to the drawing board and began exploring aerodynamics. While aerodynamics wasn't a new concept, it had yet to be seriously studied by major auto manufacturers. And Chrysler's foray into the subject eventually culminated in testing full scale models at Lockheed Martin's North Carolina wind tunnel. Engineers quickly realized the benefits of a wind-cutting nose, but the real epiphany came when they employed a large rear stabilizer. Not only did that 'rocket nose' and 'park bench' spoiler combination create 'zero lift' downforce, it also produced immense directional stability, permitting speeds in excess of 200 MPH. Not surprisingly, Dodge's storied Daytona won the first race it competed in, and would eventually become one of the most successful NASCAR stock cars of all time. And Plymouth, looking to lure NASCAR star Richard Petty back into the fold, followed Dodge's impressive Daytona with the equally slippery, and some say better, Road Runner Superbird. BODYWORK/TRIM Like many investment grade classics, this impressive Plymouth spent the majority of its 46 years in the hands of one very meticulous enthusiast. Traded in 1971 by its original owner, the car was nabbed by that enthusiast for a whopping $3,300 from Al Davenport Plymouth of Portsmouth, Virginia. In 2012, when that enthusiast decided to pass his beloved 'bird to a third owner, the car benefitted from a thorough, 1.5-year restoration that consisted of a little bodywork and quite a bit of detailing. During that refresh, Accomac, Virginia's Durbin's Auto Body stripped mostly original sheetmetal, welded up a fresh trunk pan, sprayed correct Blue Fire Metallic 2-stage and installed a fresh vinyl top. And today, this warrior rolls as one super slick, all-American muscle car that's so cool it'll make you feel guilty! ENGINE Raise this coupe's long hood and you'll find an original, 440 cubic inch RB V8 that's authenticated by a familiar 2536430 casting number and matching partial VIN. More popular than Chrysler's famed Hemi, and almost as feared as Plymouth's 440 6 BBL, this Super Commando V8 was designed to offer an exceptional combination of speed and civility. Oxygen whips through a correctly decaled, dual snorkel air cleaner to a big Carter carburetor, which is bolted to a glossy, Hemi Orange intake. At the front of that intake, a familiar points distributor sequences fire through reliable 7mm High Temperature plug wires. Behind those wires, Hemi Orange valve covers perfectly contrast correct, cast iron exhaust manifolds. Cooling is provided by a big, 26-inch radiator, which utilizes pliable hoses and simple squeeze clamps to channel water past a correct, 7-blade fan. A correct MoPar red cap utilizes an old school Chrysler voltage regulator to supply the jolts. And, aesthetically, everything in the clean engine bay presents great; from the car's cool factory decals and B5 Blue fenders to its old school washer reservoir and requisite Road Runner horn. According to this Plymouth's current owner, neither the big 440 nor its A727 companion has ever been fully rebuilt. And after the car's restoration, the moody 6 BBL induction noted in accompanying build photos was happily exchanged for a correct 4-barrel set-up. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Park this specialized B-Body on a lift and you'll find a fully sorted undercarriage that, thanks to an acute combination of low mileage and impeccable maintenance, remains very close to the way it left the Lynch Road assembly line. Factory undercoating protects solid floors that, while exceedingly nice, certainly aren't a stranger to the blacktop. Behind the Super Commando, an original A727 Torqueflite hangs a high performance "PK3410670" assembly stamp opposite a matching partial VIN. That proven transmission sends power to a correct 8.75-inch Chrysler rear end that spins a correct Sure Grip differential around correct 3.55 gears. At the front of the car, Chrysler's beefy Hemi Suspension utilizes heavy-duty torsion bars, an A12 sway bar and standard power steering to make quick work of big bumps and tight curves. At the back of the car, that same Hemi Suspension hangs correctly staggered springs at the sides of fresh KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and a stainless fuel tank that feeds stainless fuel lines. Stops come courtesy of standard power front disc and rear drum brakes. Spent gases traverse polished stainless tubes on their way to an H-shaped crossover, polished Dynomax mufflers and correct stainless tips. And all that MoPar goodness rolls on stylish Rallye wheels, which twist F70-14 Goodyear Polyglas tires around bright stainless trim rings and color-keyed center caps. INTERIOR Inside this famous Plymouth, a striking White & Black interior adds to the car's rare and exceptionally attractive aesthetics. Correct bench and bucket seats display no significant signs of wear. In front of those thrones, a straight, crack-free dash hangs correct Rallye gauges beside a correct AM/FM radio. At the bottom of that dash, well-maintained carpet centers a factory shifter on a correct console. At the sides of that carpet, bright door panels complement bright door frames. Above those frames, a tight headliner backs a cool Richard Petty autograph. In front of the driver, a correct, wood-trimmed steering wheel spins satin spokes around a cool Road Runner centerpiece. And behind the passengers, the car's cavernous trunk hides a fresh mat beneath a fifth Rallye wheel and a fifth a Goodyear tire. PROVENANCE In addition to significant historical provenance, this Plymouth's substantial documentation includes Galen Govier Fender Tag and Broadcast Sheet decodes. Here's a detailed look at how the car left Chrysler's Lynch Road assembly plant. Atlas Muscle Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1970 numbers matching Plymouth Superbird, this car is a real Superbird with broadcast sheets that have the Nascar annotation on the broadcast sheet. The car does come with its original numbers matching 440 and the original numbers matching transmission. The body on the car is pretty solid except for the rust on the roof from the vinyl top and rust in the floors from water sitting, there is really no rust in the lower quarters, fenders or doors. I would say the rust that is in the car is from sitting and not from driving on roads with salt. The side glass is in really good shape, we are missing the passenger side quarter glass through. The rear glass is also in really nice shape, the stainless window molding is in really nice shape and can be polished back up to look brand new. Car is missing its door panels and other interior parts, however all the important parts of a Superbird are still there and in restorable shape. $75,000.00 obo 972-542-5679 office 214-856-9392 cell 972-562-7965 after hours [email protected] All forms of payment must clear our bank before we will release the car. The 'coolest of the cool' that's survived almost 50 years of vehicle downsizing, fuel thirsty gearheads and stoplight fisticuffs? Well, you don't have to worry about getting pinched back to reality this time because this killer Plymouth Road Runner Superbird is a fully documented, mostly original muscle car that's comfortable on either the strip or the show field! Not only is this awesome coupe a highly exclusive wing car that sports just 29,768 miles, it also wears 100% original sheet metal, features a correct 440 6 BBL powertrain and sports a fresh white on black color combination. If you're looking for a bad to the bone investment that's fun to look at, a blast to drive and ready to hit the show circuit as soon as it rolls out of our showroom; congratulations, you've found your next car! With an original window sticker and two original broadcast sheets, there's no questioning this Plymouth's well-preserved authenticity. Here's a detailed look at how the car rolled down Chrysler's Lynch Road assembly line: FENDER TAGRM23:- R: Plymouth Road Runner- M: Medium- 23: 2-door hardtopV0A:- V: 440 cubic inch V8 that utilizes three 2-barrel carburetors to produce 390 horsepower- 0: 1970 model year- A: Produced at Chrysler's Lynch Road manufacturing facility162346: Assembly sequence numberE87: 440 cubic inch high performance V8 that utilizes three 2-barrel carburetors to produce 390 horsepowerD32: Heavy duty automatic transmissionEW1: Alpine White exterior paintH2X9:- H: High trim grade- 2: Vinyl bench seats- X9: Black interiorTX9: Black door framesB30: Assembled on November 30th, 1969J97583: Order numberV19: Special order full vinyl roofV88: Transverse R/T stripe delete26: 26-inch radiator EQUIPMENT LISTED ON THE BROADCAST SHEET:A13 Superbird PackageA36 High Performance Axle PackageB41 Front disc brakesB51 Power assisted brakesC23 Rear armrests that are complete with ashtraysC65 Air Foam bench seatsC93 CarpetingD32 Heavy duty A727 Torqueflite transmissionD56 3.55 gearsE87 440 cubic inch high performance V8 that's complete with three 2-barrel carburetorsF25 Mopar red cap batteryF96 Oil pressure and temperature gaugesG41 Rearview mirror that's complete with day/night modeH11 Heater that's complete with a defrosterJ11 Glove box lockJ15 Cigar lighterJ25 Variable, 3-speed wipersJ45 - Hood pins that are complete with lanyardsL76 Heater control lampM21 Drip rail moldingsM81 Front bumper guardsN41 Dual exhaustN42 Chrome exhaust tipsN51 Maximum engine coolingN65 7-blade fanR11 Music Master AM radioS15 Hemi extra heavy duty suspensionS25 Heavy duty firm ride shocksS31 Front sway barS77 Power steeringS79 Steering wheel that's complete with a lower half horn ringW21 Rallye wheelsU84 F60x15 red-wall, polyglas tiresV01 Monotone paintV19 Special order vinyl roofV88 Transverse R/T stripe deleteY39 Special order car Throughout the '60s, Chrysler and Ford were heavily vested in the "Win on Sunday, sell on Monday" sales mentality. When you take a close look at this super clean coupe, it seems only fitting that the car's entire 43 year existence was spent in the hands of one very meticulous owner. Purchased new by Ronald North of Huntington, Indiana, it's the recent beneficiary of a modern, two-stage paint job. Thanks to very little exposure to the elements, that unique body was a solid, all-original piece that needed nothing more than prep work. A correct layer of Alpine White presents exceptionally well and, when combined with matte horizontals and correct Superbird call-outs, creates iconic muscle car looks. And today, this Plymouth is one stunningly straight showpiece that has no gremlins, suffers no thin spots and displays a high level of fit and finish. As you step back and stare at this 'bird's sinuous body, many adjectives come to mind. Wicked... Astonishing... Dreadful... Infamous... But, in reality, Chrysler spent a lot of R&D time making sure the car fit one specific descriptor: functional. Every piece of this Road Runner was whittled to maximum efficiency in pursuit of one goal: lapping large race tracks at a very high rate of speed. At the front of the car, a downforce producing nose hangs sleek, flip up headlights between a small grille, standard hood pins, hidden parking lamps and a body-matched chin spoiler. Behind that nose, drag reducing air extractors lead the eye to a cool 'Hustle Stuff' tachometer, clean glass and a show worthy combination of straight stainless trim and pliable black vinyl. At the sides of those extractors, prominent fender lines and Superbird-specific C-pillars frame bright marker lights, a correct Chrysler mirror and familiar chrome door handles. And at the back of the car, a Superbird-specific wing rides above a small "road runner" emblem, clear tail lights, a prominent "P L Y M O U T H" script, bright exhaust tips and an original chrome bumper. Raise this coupe's long hood and you'll find a correct, 440 cubic inch RB V8 that's fully detailed, completely sorted and ready to go. More popular than Chrysler's famed Hemi, and almost as feared, Plymouth's 390 horsepower, 440 6 BBL powerplant was designed to be the industry's best combination of comfort, streetability and big block performance. Oxygen whips through a correctly decaled cleaner to three 2-barrel carburetors, which are bolted over a glossy, Hemi Orange intake. In front of that intake, a familiar points distributor sequences fire through fresh Chrysler Electronic Suppression wires. Behind those wires, Hemi Orange valve covers perfectly contrast correctly restored exhaust manifolds. Cooling is supplied by a big, 26-inch radiator, which utilizes pliable hoses and simple squeeze clamps to send water past fresh V-belts and rebuilt engine accessories. Power is provided by a tagged Mopar red cap battery, which is wired to a correct Chrysler voltage regulator. Aesthetically, the entire engine bay looks spectacular, from its new decals and Alpine White fenders to its old school fluid reservoir and clean Road Runner horn. And functionally, a quick turn of this Plymouth's ignition results in a rumbling, high-performance idle, hot or cold. Hoist this specialized B-Body and you'll find a fully sorted undercarriage that, thanks to an acute combination of low mileage and impeccable maintenance, rolls exactly the way it came down Lynch Road's assembly line. A clean layer of undercoating protects weather-free floorpans that, while exceedingly nice, certainly aren't a stranger to the blacktop. Behind the Super Commando mill, an original A727 Torqueflite, which wears a matching 162346 partial VIN, provides solid, poignant shifts through all three gears. That proven transmission sends power to an 8.75-inch Chrysler rear end which is equipped with correct 3.55 gears. At the front of the car, Chrysler's beefy Hemi suspension utilizes Cosmoline-replicating torsion bars, an A12 sway bar and standard power steering to make quick work of big bumps and tight curves. At the back of the car, that same Hemi suspension hangs correctly staggered springs at the sides of a painted, leak-free fuel tank. Stops come courtesy of standard power front disc and rear drum brakes. Exhaust is handled by aluminized tubes that bend around an H-pipe crossover, traditional turbo mufflers and correct stainless tips. And all this Mopar goodness rolls on pristine Rallye wheels which twist F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs around subdued center caps and bright stainless trim rings. Inside this famous Plymouth, a completely original interior is clean, well-optioned and surprisingly stylish. Seating, an ultra-rare all-bench set up, displays no significant signs of wear. In front of those benches, a straight, crack-free dash hangs original factory gauges beside a familiar Music Master radio. At the bottom of that dash, well-maintained carpet is protected by rubber, "road runner" branded floor mats. At the sides of that carpet, original door panels carry the seat's silver stripe motif around black frames, dent-free stainless and traditional chrome hardware. Above those panels, old school shoulder belts frame a tight, black headliner. In front of the driver, a monochromatic steering wheel spins a silver horn ring around a cool Road Runner centerpiece. And behind the passengers, the car's cavernous trunk is complete with a plaid mat, dual decklid decals, a correct tire and an original jack. This 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Super Bird tribute offers all the performance and jaw-dropping looks at a fraction of the price of a real one, and with a lot of authentic parts, even the pros might need to give this one a closer look before deciding if it's real. It's just too cool to own a car that was so fast it was outlawed, and that's a big part of the thrill of the Super Bird. This replica has exactly the right look, thanks to a genuine steel nose cone and towering rear wing, both of which were actually used on NASCAR-spec cars when they were new. Other little details that are correct include the vents on the fenders and the extended hood, not to mention the Petty Blue paint, which really is the only color for a Super Bird. The only possible demerit might be the lack of a vinyl top (all 'Birds used a vinyl top to hide the sloppy work needed to eliminate the tunnel-like rear window), but you have to admit that it looks ultra-clean without it. It does have all the correct markings a decals, which are a big part of the Super Bird look, and to be honest, this tribute car fits together better than many originals, which is a testament to the effort invested in the build. This was clearly a labor of love. The Super Bird had a standard Road Runner interior, and you could get any options you wanted, so finding buckets and a console is a nice treat here. The seat covers are recent and look great on the high-back buckets and there's nice woodgrain on the console that matches the steering wheel. The dash offers a full array of Rallye gauges, including a factory Tick-Tock-Tach, as well as a pair of auxiliary gauges underneath. You'll be surprised to see A/C on this one, a very cool addition to the features list, although it probably needs a recharge to be fully effective. An AM/FM/cassette stereo lives in the center of the dash, up high where it's easy to see, and the back seat looks almost new. The Super Bird's trunk is positively massive and includes a correct mat and space-saver spare with jack assembly, correct braces for the wing, plus the signatures of Richard Petty and Dave Inman. Too cool! The 440 cubic inch V8 was rebuilt to stock specs, and while it's not a Six-Pack, it does generate the kind of big torque that makes this Super Bird a blast to drive on the street. Nicely detailed and fairly stock looking, it's got a big dual-snorkel air cleaner up top, completely with reproduction decals, plus Hemi Orange paint and a set of finned valve covers for dress-up. A big radiator up front means this smooth V8 stays cool and with power steering and a TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission, it's surprisingly easy to drive for something with this much speed potential. A recent dual exhaust snarls and cackles the way it should and the underside of the car is shockingly clean, albeit not detailed for show. There are no major deviations from stock, which means you get the real experience. And we love the plain-Jane steel wheels and poverty caps wrapped in fat 255/60/15 BFG radials for an industrial-strength look. Priced a Super Bird lately? Yeah, incredible. So if you want the feel and the gawking stares as you drive by, why not take this tribute for a spin instead. It's just as much fun for a lot less cash. Our number one focus has always been our customers. What started out as a hobby for owner Roy Cats, quickly turned into a successful business venture as he helped many of his friends find the car of their dreams. By the time 2002 rolled around, Roy was almost too busy to partake in the hobby side of things as helping the people he met along the way buy and sell their cars quickly became a full time gig. Cats Exotics specializes not only in Lamborghinis but in all types of cars from Exotics, to Luxury cars, to Muscle cars, to Rare collectibles. Being car people first and business people second, we have been able to cultivate a customer base that we never take for granted and we focus on building long lasting, trusting relationships with all of our clients. As Roy always says, “It’s easier to keep a customer than gain a new one.” Since we are a family business, we try to never lose sight of the important things in life and do our best to enjoy the cars as much as we also make a business out of selling them. Up for sale is a rare 1970 Plymouth Fury III with convertible top. This was the last year that Chrysler offered a full size convertible car until the early 80s. The car was specially ordered with a 383 2 bbl and torquflite automatic transmission. I purchased this Fury from the original owner this past summer after it had been sitting in his garage since 1990 following a complete paint job. He had the entire car painted, purchased a new top and carpets, but never got around to installing them. The new top and carpets come with the car. The convertible top pump and hardware is all intact. I had a lot of fun buying the car and kind of fell in love with the story behind it. It only has 84k miles. After I got it home, I put a battery in the car and verified the engine indeed turns over. The electrical system is in good working order as well. I did not want to suck old gas into the system, so that is as far as I went. I wanted to restore this car myself, but I lack time, space and the fabrication skills needed to rebuild it. The floor, which is the structure of the car, is in pretty nice shape as the pictures show. The main areas of concern are the front and rear unibody rails. The trunk floor is also in pretty good condition. The interior is pretty well preserved since nobody has sat in the car for a long time. I have the original build sheets with the car ( I found 3 of them in the car) and saw that it was a highly optioned car. There are a lot of factory remarks on the bottom of it. When I originally went to look at the car, it was interesting to hear the owner talk about every option the car had and why he chose to order it that way, especially the rare 383 engine. Most of all the Furys in 70 had smallblock 318 engines. Many of the externals on the 383 engine look to be original. I have the original hubcaps, grill, replacement top, replacement carpets, and full interior. All this car needs is a good craftsman to give it the life it deserves. The stainless steel trim and glass are in exceptional condition as well. The bumpers are not perfect but are not rusty at all. It really needs a good metal man. You wont need to track down hard to find parts, because this car is complete. Since the car was last registered in 1990, so it is no longer in the DMV records database. Cars made prior to 1973 did not receive titles, and simply had a sticker on the license plate as well as the paper copy. I have the most current sticker and the license plate, but the paper copy has long been lost. I will provide a bill of sale with the car and the bill of sale I received from the original owner. The new owner should contact their local DMV and obtain the proper forms to register the vehicle in their state. A fellow Mopar nut told me that the front turn signals on this car are the same as the ones used on the superbird making them worth a few bucks. After hearing this, I thought about parting the car out, but I really want to see it go to a good home. These cars are getting rare and I do not want to contribute to their extinction. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I will be happy to answer them.

A two year “rotisserie” restoration was recently completed. There are about 200 test miles on the car since completion. As you can see in the pics the car underwent a complete “rotisserie” restoration. Options added not on the fender tag are; rallye instruments, 383 stripe, right hand sport mirror and replacement of the original 3-speed transmission with a 4-speed. I have included a list of parts and material that add up to over $31,000 used during the extensive restoration. If you are looking for a unique Cuda Convertible that you can get in and enjoy this summer this is a great car for you. It is highly unlikely you will see another one with these options. This car has been off the road and market for many years, so you will be the first to show it this summer. I have sold several cars on eBay over the past 16 years and have always received positive feedback (check my seller feedback). I am not a dealer, just a hobbyist and it is important to me that the buyer is satisfied with the car. You can be assured I have described the car to the best of my knowledge and will answer your questions honestly. It would be near impossible to find an original 383 Cuda convertible and restore it to this level for my price on this car. I have a clear AZ title in my name. Keep in mind there are various levels of “restored cars” for sale. This one was taken down to the bare metal unibody and completely rotisserie restored. For sale - my 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Grand Coupe Convertible. I believe this is one of 2 export cars that went to Canada back in early 1970. I imported it, jumped through all the red tape and hoops and it now has a Clear US Kansas title! It's one of the 66 total 1970 Grand Coupe Convertible 383 Big Block cars. So, pretty rare... The engine is a date code correct (or a 69 - I can't remember for sure it's been 5-6 years since I looked) 383 but not numbers matching. The transmission and rear-end match. This car is pretty much unmolested. Power black top. The drivers side door needs a regulator as the window does not go all the way up...I have one that comes with the car. Fender tag says EB5 which is blue - the code for Red is FE5 - I don't know if this is a mistake or what - but it does not appear that the car has been repainted...but no guarantees. It is a console car with bucket seats. Pictures say a 1000 words. Car is in great shape...but not rotisserie restored. However, it's not $100,000 either! Fender tag below: BP27: Plymouth Barracuda Premium, Gran Coupe Convertible N0B: 383 330HP OR 335HP 1-4BBL 8 CYL 1970 Dodge Main, Hamtramck, MI, USA 1xxxxx: Sequence number E63: 383 cid 4 barrel V8 H.P. 335hp D32: Heavy Duty Automatic Transmission EB5: Bright Blue Metallic Exterior Color P6XW: Trim - Premium, Vinyl Bucket Seats, Black/White 000: Full Door Panels A04: Build Date: October 04 C04404: Order number V3X: Black Convertible Top A01: Light Package A62: Rallye Instrument Cluster Package B51: Power Brakes C16: Console w/Woodgrain Panel C55: Bucket Seats G37: OS Dual Racing Mirrors N41: Dual Exhaust N42: Chrome Exhaust Tips N85: Tachometer P37: Power Convertible Top R35: AM/FM Stereo Radio (10 Watts) Y07: Build to Canada Specs EN1: End of Sales Codes I've been collecting mopar's my whole life, I own a Viper, Superbird some power wagons, etc.. Up for sale is my 70 Roadrunner 440, six pack, "post car", pistol grip 4 speed ,w/air grabber hood. I have owned this car for almost 12 years, it is all original except the engine which was a 383 at birth. The original engine was long gone when I bought it and had been replaced with a 440. last summer I went thru the 440 and had it punched .30 over, a purple stick cam, electronic ignition, heads were done with hardened seats, it runs great on pump gas, it has headers with dual exhaust with turbo flow mufflers.I also changed the rear end ring and pinion from stock to 4:10 gears about 9 years ago.The rebuilt 440 has less than 100 miles on it. The large tach is just sitting in the original "hole " for the stock tach on the dash, the dash was not hurt, I have the "blank" for the dash and another plastic lense cover for it.{ if you wanted it back to "original"} .It has the stock am radio in the dash and I put a "pioneer super tuner" under dash am/fm cass on a slide mount which was popular in the 70"s. I replaced the gas tank last year and clear coated the new one.The front end was rebuilt with all the new nylon bushing a few years age. I really only put a couple hundred miles a year on it. I have several other cars too. The air grabber hood functions fine with a flip of the switch.I put the new Crager Wheels and tires on a few years ago but are still in great shape. It has manual steering, brakes, and windows with a bench seat. It is a post car with pop out rear windows which is the more desirable roadrunner (less flex in the body or twisting on take off). The car was basically built for racing it its day, faster and cheaper than the Mustangs and Camero's .I also have a couple of the original build sheets in frames for it. The car is very clean I took pics of the bottom the best i could. Ive owned several "high end" cars including a amphia car, superbird and 59 cadi conv. but this car was/is the most fun, I really didnt worry about this car , its not a 100k car, just a very nice driver with all the right options. (air grabber, pistol grip 4 speed,440, and six pack) and fun to drive!!. I have to tell you this is my favorite car I've owned, Thats why I have kept it all these years. Most of the cars I buy I keep 1-2 years, have some fun with them and move on to the next one (like a kid I just like new toys!!) But this one is just a great car, I'm really not sure if I want to sell it but I'm planning to move to florida and I just dont have room down there. The car is sold is as-is condition. (disclaimer) A $1000. non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hrs and the balance within 7 days via wire transfer or cash. My car will not leave my driveway until the funds clear. Please do not bid if you dont have the funds in hand, I went thru that with one of my cars when the high bidder couldnt get a loan because the car was not in his country and tied up the sale for about 3 months. This is a contract to purchase within 7 days. Feel free to come check out the car in person, you will not be disappointed . I will Not let anyone Test drive it (i will take you for a ride) due to a "Buyer" in one of my cars last year thinking he had "free pass" to do hole shots in my GTO. I was NOT happy and swore that would never happen again. Any questions you can contact me at 734-845-6564 after 9am to midnight eastern time. Thanx for looking...

Professional “rotisserie” restoration recently completed by Huffman Auto Body. Huffman Auto Body has won multiple first place awards at National events such as the Mopar Nationals and Chryslers at Carlisle. This is the owner’s personal car and has been restored to a very high standard. The car was restored back to the original fender tag options. The original fender tag is on the car (no reproduction). The original broadcast sheet also is included with the car. The only added options are power steering, power disk brakes and spoilers. Since the restoration the car has been driven for one summer to mainly local shows (~3000 miles) with a total of 94,218 miles showing on the odometer. This is an opportunity to own one of nicest 1971 Road Runners in the county at price significantly less than the restoration cost. When comparing this car to other cars on the market, you should consider the quality, level of detail and amount of new parts used on this car. There are other 1971 Road Runners on the market for sale for less money, but I do not believe you will find a better value The dash VIN, Engine, Radiator Support and Original Fender Tag numbers all match. The transmission is not numbers matching and there is no VIN stamped in the cowl. I have included a list of parts that add up to ~$24,000 used during the extensive restoration. If you are looking for a true “turn key”, professionally restored car that needs nothing, this is the car for you. I have sold several cars on eBay over the past 13 years and have always received positive feedback. I am not a dealer, just a hobbyist and it is important to me that the buyer is satisfied with the car. You can be assured I have described the car to the best of my knowledge and will answer your questions honestly. It is still buyer’s market for muscle cars and this car is priced accordingly. It would be nearly impossible to find an original 71 383 Road Runner and restore it to this level for my reserve price on this car.
