1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud LHD!             73 Professional Photos The Rolls Royce Silver Cloud was the replacement for the Silver Dawn and began production in 1955. In 1959 the Silver Cloud series II was introduced and featured a new 6.2L V8 and greatly improved performance over the Series I. A variation of this V8 would be used for decades to come. Production of the series II continued through 1962. The appearance changed very little over the 3 year run, but many improvements were made to the ventilation system. This particular Silver Cloud that is being offered for sale is a rare and highly sought after left hand drive 1962 series II. It has received much attention over the years both cosmetically and mechanically. The interior is in excellent overall condition with only one crack in the upper part of the dash, and one small trim piece missing from the driver's side B pillar. It was redone years ago and only the highly quality leather and materials were used. The exetrior shows that the car is very straight and free from any damage. The car has never been wrecked or damaged in any way in it’s 53yrs of use. There are some chips, scuffs, paint blemishes, and a very small amount of rust on the drivers side rocker panel, which is very common on these Clouds. (Please refer to the pictures for the exact condition) The close up of the small bubbles in the clear is only on the drivers rear quarter. This Cloud is highly presentable, and incredibly sound mechanically. EVERYTHING is in good working order! Lights, gauges, switches, hydraulics, heat, AC, etc! This Cloud just received some service work including the heater valves being rebuilt, and the AC thoroughly gone through. The heat and AC work flawlessly! Please call or e-mail with any questions. Thanks. -------------------------------------------------------------Disclaimer: *** Mandatory Doc Fee of $250 must be collected and is not included in the sale price.*** Mandatory deposit is non-refundable. 1961 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II Saloon Only 38,000 Documented Miles Documented Service History Since 1986 Complete and Fresh Brake Service Recently Done at The Frawley Co. Ready for Touring and RROC Events Rare Opportunity............................LOW RESERVE Possibly One of the Nicest SCII's Available!! Good Silver Clouds are becoming increasingly harder and harder to acquire. Excellent examples are rapidly approaching Six Figures, and above!!!! This one will be a fantastic opportunity for the smart minded!! Greetings to All !!! imotors is pleased to present yet another unique Rolls Royce for your motoring pleasure. This is a 1961 Silver Cloud II Standard Steel Saloon. It is one of the most beautiful Rolls Royce's ever built, and a wonderful opportunity to own the most sought after, and desirable model in the World!!, This one is quite Elegant, especially with the Exquisite Maroon Coachwork with Tan Fine Lines. I think it is quite striking!!! This Beautiful Rolls Royce has only traveled 38,000 miles since new, ....low low miles for any pre-owned car. In 1960 the Sliver Cloud "II" was introduced. It would be the first Rolls Royce with the V-8 engine, and the last full frame car that would ever leave the factory in Crewe. The "Replacement" Silver Shadow was well into the design stages, and would incorporate monocoque(unibody) construction. You all remember "Burke's Law" on TV, and of course that horrid(at least I think so) mustard commercial from many years back. All with Silver Cloud's!!!! Whenever you say "Rolls Royce" to someone, they immediately picture a Silver Cloud in their mind. Please keep in mind that this is a 54 year old Rolls Royce that is not "flawless" or "mint". If you want a "perfect" example this is not the one. This is a WONDERFUL Silver Cloud II that runs and drives beautifully. I have driven it Extensively, and it runs and drives Amazing!!!! The 6.23 litre light alloy V8 runs great and the Automatic transmission still shifts ever so smoothly. It stands tall and proud and will give years of pleasure to the lucky winning bidder. I will do the best that I can to describe it's actual condition. There are about 100 photos below, so you can take a tour of the entire car...from outside to inside, even the trunk and the engine compartments are shown, along with many of the wonderful features....please take the time to let all of the photographs load, we're sure that you will be just delighted. If you have any questions or need more info please don't hesitate to ask. As with all classic and collectible vehicles this Wonderful Rolls Royce is being Sold without warranty. We have a clean Pennsylvania title that reads actual mileage. This particular example has been previously enjoyed for the last 30 years by the same loving owner, a prominent Physician in a small town about 60 miles from here, who has recently passed away. I purchased it directly from his niece,....right out of their garage, where it was always stored and covered. It has spent most of it's life here in western Pennsylvania, since 1986. I was told that it was his "Pride and Joy"!! It appears to be an original, unmolested example that has had excellent care since coming stateside in the mid eighties. We have 3 old "MOT"'s from the UK, indicating actual mileage, AND the current registration plate that is still displayed proudly on the car!! In late November of 2013, This Gorgeous SCII was sent to The Frawley Co. in central Pa. These folks are highly respected and regarded in the Rolls Royce community. There are copies of the repair orders below that total about $10,000.00 in repairs and maintenance, to include a complete brake refurbishment, along with other service(s). Due to this recent major servicing, this SCII now runs and drives Beautifully. I believe that it should be ready to be driven anywhere with confidence!!! We cordially invite you to come to Export, Pa and look this fine vehicle over. You won’t be disappointed. Snipers take note.... THIS IS THE ONE!!! If you ever wanted one of these Hand Made masterpieces, this is your Golden Opportunity. Bid Now....Remember, when you try to snipe somebody ALWAYS gets shut out at the end. If you are that somebody, and we've ALL been that somebody at least once!, You will have that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach. Don't let this one get away... Also, please note that these beautiful cars are Rapidly increasing in value!! There have been some examples that recently sold at famous collector auctions, such as "Barrett-Jackson" for ENORMOUS amounts of money. This car will be an Excellent investment, and will only appreciate in value, unlike stocks and bonds. There is also a"Buyers Premium" (usually 8-10%)when you buy at one of those exclusive sales. There is NONE here....just the bid price!! The exterior Maroon with Light Tan Fine Lines. The ONLY colour you would want on a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. The paint is bright and shiny, and has no dents, or scrapes. I am certain that some "Touch up" has been performed over the years. We have a small bill stating this in the service file. I also noticed that there are some small patches present on the inner sills/rockers. Theses are minor, and I have underneath photos for the serious buyer. There is NO RUST on the frame(not even below the battery), or floors, or the coachwork.. As you can see in the 100 photos, this SCII is just magnificent. The chrome and brightwork are just gorgeous and are also in excellent condition. There are ZERO Dings on the overriders, and bumpers. The famous Rolls Royce Radiator Grille is just a sight to behold!!! The "Flying Lady" stands Tall and Proud, and is just beautiful. The interior is covered in Light tan hides, piped same. As you will see in the photos below It is quite lovely. And the smell..... My Goodness. NOTHING smells like a Rolls Royce inside!! This is basically an original unmolested car, including the interior. The leather is in very nice condition, and appeared to be original when we acquired the motorcar. We have had it expertly dyed to freshen its appearance, and is now quite Beautiful! It has Plain Sundym glass throughout, and a Tan Headcloth, that is original. It is in nice condition, and need not be replaced. The Tan carpeting, bound same, is also original, and looks very nice as well. The famous hand polished and finished veneers on the Fasia are very nice as well, the patterns are just Fantastic. The capping rail on the fasia has recently been refinished(We have the bill), and the remaining wood throughout the car appears to be original, to include waste rails on all four doors. They are quite handsome looking. The original radio, and antenna have been replaced with a modern Alpine AM/FM/CD sounds fantastic! All power accessories and gauges are working correctly, with the exception of the clock. As mentioned above this Gorgeous Silver Cloud II is basically an unmolested original example that has been very well cared for by its previous custodian. Due to recent major servicing, it runs and drives very well. The suspension feels tight, and it rides just as you would expect a Rolls Royce to ride. The exhaust system is quiet, and the Michelin Radials are new a few hundred miles ago in 2011. There are both large and small tools, along with the originally supplied Torch lamp. There is some service history, that is pictured below in the form of "Lube Stickers". Theses are NOT in order, as some are pasted in the handbook, and some are loose in the pocket of the handbook. I have a few Repair orders that are insignificant, and are not pictured. This is a very rare opportunity to own one of the finest driving, and most collectable saloons available in the world. It is mechanically and cosmetically in Excellent condition and will give the lucky winning bidder many years of enjoyment. If I have left anything out or you need more info please don't hesitate to ask. All e-mails will be answered as quickly as possible. Thanks for your interest and Good Luck!!! Take a look at the 100 photographs below and see the actual pristine condition of this One of A Kind Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II. By bidding you agree to all terms set forth below. Many Thanks for Your Interest! Good Luck with Your Bidding!! Our SCII was imported from the UK in way back in 1986 You can tell by the condition of the bright and shiny paint that this Beauty was Always Garaged and Pampered!! The registration plates have been affixed since it resided in the UK! The overriders and bumpers are ding and dent free Note the reflection There are no pits in any of the brightwork. All gaps are nice and straight! . Just Gorgeous!! The sumptuous leather interior is in fantastic condition and is certainly commensurate with the low mileage and excellent care our Gorgeous SCII has seen throughout its 45 year life. Very Luxurious!! Fit for Royalty Interior is original......We've had it expertly re-dyed! The wood in this motorcar is in fantastic condition!! I thought it appropriate and befitting to include his driving gloves!! All instruments are working correctly with the exception of the clock!! Even a tray in front!! A Major concern, And very common question on Silver Clouds is "When were the brakes done?"......November of 2013!! The all important brake fluid jars.....nice and clean!! Note the mileage in 1979 was a low 19,272!! The all important original title....documenting date of purchase, and mileage. Four Fresh Michelins....Smooth as glass! Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II 1960 Good clean collector owned example. This is a very honest and clean presenting Right hand drive Silver Cloud II finished in Masons black with light tan Connolly hide interior. It presents very original and neat with original leather and wood interior showing just a nice amount of patina. The car recently came out of a small private collection of Rolls-Royces and was put thru the park-Ward Motors Museum in preparation for sale. Body and paint present nicely. She was repainted black some 10 years replacing the original colour of Velvet Green (a very dark non metallic green that is almost black in appearance - so not a significant deviation). It was painted in good quality 2 stage clear over base but was a little orange peeley and inconsistent in areas, so it was recently completely wet-sanded buffed and polished by us and the difference is quite amazing. She now presents quite well. Not perfect, with small blemishes and imperfections here and there, but very nice nonetheless. She certainly is in good 8-9 out of 10 driver condition. She is finished off with tan fine-lines in the hand painted tradition to the waist-rail. All bright work is in good driver condition without any notable pitting or dents. The interior is very, very nice with all its original fitments. The Connolly leather is supple soft and shows quite beautifully with its "natural aging" to provide a very inviting appearance. It has not been dyed nor tampered with and looks and feels great. Just like an well aged Chesterfield couch, it has just the right amount of natural patina. The African burl walnut wood throughout is in nice condition. Not refinished so there is sign of age, but it too looks lovingly aged. The carpets resent well. The headliner is near new having been refinished in a period suitable suede finish. It is without a mark or imperfection which is a huge bonus, given that many Clouds sporting their original wool headliners are rather grubby and unsightly. Mechanically, the car is good. She drives strong and sure, braking well and with a fine degree of confidence. As testimony to the car's calibre, the car was received after more than 5 years of her not being driven. So very impressive! After doing all the necessary commissioning procedures, she fired up instantaneously and held a steady idle like she was warmed up only moments previously. The car has been driven regularly over the last few weeks and has behaved handsomely. Of course, all our cars are put through Park-Ward's fully appointed facility before delivery, and anything needing doing attended to. So buyers can remain comforted by our reputation in providing a good solid car. Some recent upgrades include a brake service, a completely new stainless steel exhaust from header to tail pipe and 4 brand new Coker tyres. Under the bonnet, the presentation is clean and tidy. As you would expect, this Silver Cloud III comes with its original accoutrements and operating manual. The car is of "above average" standard and ranks in comfortably as an 8 out of 10 driver rating. ~~ This stately Silver Cloud II is a nice clean example of the marque that is ready to be driven and enjoyed. She is ideal for special occasion or sunny weekend enjoyment. She is not show standard but could easily be taken as is to your next RROC show with pride and glee. ~~ Interesting Information on the Silver Cloud II series. Few do not realise that only some 2,400 of these cars were ever made. The Silver Cloud II was introduced in 1959. Little changed externally from the first Cloud, but it now had a 6.2 L V8 engine, which pushed the weight to 2.11 tonnes. Performance was greatly improved and top speed was raised to 183 km/h (114 mph), but the main improvements were in acceleration and torque. Power steering became standard. Electrically operated windows were now available as an option. Although the improved performance of the new car was welcomed, commentators of the time noted that the V8-engined Silver Cloud II was neither as quiet nor as smooth as the straight-six-cylinder-engined Silver Cloud I, despite the new engine's hydraulic tappet operation. The new wet-linered V8 was also a little cramped in an engine bay intended originally for a narrower unit: in order to change the sparking plugs it was necessary to remove the front wheel on the car's right side. The basic architecture of the Silver Cloud II did not change between 1959 and 1963, but there were numerous minor changes implemented, notable among them a succession of improvements to the ventilation system. The Motor magazine tested a Series II in 1960. They recorded a top speed of 104.7 mph (168.5 km/h), acceleration from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 10.9 seconds and a fuel consumption of 13 miles per imperial gallon (22 L/100 km; 11 mpg-US). The test car cost £6092 including taxes. For extra photos on this fine example go to the link below. The photos are of super high resolution so if you right click on any, you can zoom in and see every little detail and defect (if any!) in considerable detail. Click HERE to see some 150 high resolution photos Click HERE to see some 150 high resolution photos A note from RRMOTORSINC: For those Rolls-Royce enthusiasts who have followed my auctions in the past I welcome you all. For those who are new to my adverts and/or the marque, please note that as a serious collector of some 30 years, all my cars are truly described examples. I have my own private Rolls-Royce workshop (not open to the public but dedicated to my own cars and fellow RR entusiasts) with trained Rolls-Royce craftsmen who are proficient in all aspects. As a team, we are dedicated to the preservation of the marque and as such, any car that leaves the stable is completely inspected and work-shopped to ensure mechanical and operational items are maintained appropriately. We adopt a “keep it original” mentality with pride and confidence, offering after sales technical support and assistance well beyond the sale. Because most of my cars are offered for the pleasures of driving enjoyment it is not always possible or practical to seek perfection (in the true sense of the word) but we do always uphold excellence in whatever we do. Our cars are by no means cheap priced cars but we like to think they are amongst the best. To this end, I firmly believe in the famous adage; “Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.” We hope you do too.” **PLEASE read auction terms and conditions below BEFORE bidding.** ~~oo00oo~~ This Rolls-Royce is part of a private collection. Although licensed and bonded, I am not a main-stream retail car dealer or broker; I am a professional car collector of some 30 years with considerable experience and knowledge of Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motor Cars. I have a long standing reputation being associated with the marque which I take seriously. I take pride in my cars and have fun in collecting and restoring them. However, auctions are not a game so when you place a bid or offer, and you are the winning bidder, please understand you have entered a binding contract. You cannot bid and win the auction and expect not to meet the terms and conditions. Bidding and/or winning does not mean you are expecting me to “hold” the car until you have the opportunity to inspect it. Any inspection contemplated should be undertaken BEFORE you bid or make an offer and I openly welcome any potential buyer to come and personally inspect the car. Once you bid or make an offer, you are doing so to buy WITHOUT conditions. Your bid can not be subject to anything. A $2000.00 deposit (non-refundable) is required within 24 hours of the close of the auction and payable by PayPal. The balance of funds are required within 7 days of the close of the auction and must be provided by cashier’s check or bank wire. I cannot accept PayPal for the balance unless you are willing to meet the cost of transfer fees. Full payment must be made (and payments cleared) before the title and/or the vehicle is released. All payments are non-refundable. Payments as described above form an important part of this purchase contract and so, if all the funds are not received as outlined above, I reserve the right to terminate the transaction without notice. If there has been any deposit or other part payments received and I elect to terminate the contract, I reserve the right to keep any such deposits or payments and resell the vehicle to another bidder or interested party or re-list the vehicle at any time. To be clear, if you change your mind for ANY reason and do not complete the transaction in the time-frame required, you will forfeit your deposit. I am happy to assist with shipping arrangements on a national and worldwide basis but the winning bidder takes full responsibility for pickup and/or shipping and at his cost. As a collector and experienced restorer of the marque, I make every effort to bring my cars to a high standard. By comparison, my cars are generally superior to others available but they are by no means perfect. You must expect some issues. Unless specifically stated, the car is not of show standard but of nice "driver" condition. Please understand, show cars of this model cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to achieve and sell for prices commensurate, so the sale price of this car reflects its relative condition. You are buying "condition" accordingly. Buyers should not expect to receive concours quality or "perfect" cars at these prices. Please also understand, the very nature of these classic Rolls-Royces is such that it is not always possible to attend to every item, or perhaps I may have inadvertently overlooked items. Further, and very importantly, these cars are classic cars also because they are old. So this means a 25 year old car is predominantly comprised of 25 year old parts. And old parts will fail. All buyers must understand and expect that things can or will wear out, break and/or stop functioning without notice. This is even more likely with hand-built English cars of early technology when compared to the typical American car of the same vintage. Please note, fitted radio/stereo systems are usually subject to upgrade by purchasers so I do not ensure operation of these. Similarly, cruise control systems fitted to these classics were of an inferior design and I do not check or warrant the operation of these. Suspension and brakes on these cars are complex. We thoroughly check them and replace things that are identified faulty. But please understand, by example; if we change a brake line because it appears aged or faulty, we do NOT at the same time replace all other hoses because they are of similar age. This is considered "preventative maintenance". We do not do this unless specifically requested and is not included in the purchase price. Feel free to ask for this additional service. Further, a feature or function that is working perfectly one moment, may decide to play-up the next. After all, it is some 25 years old. This is the nature of any classic car and especially a Rolls-Royce which was very "complicated" for its era. For this reason it is necessary for the following condition: The vehicle is being sold "as-is/where-is" with no warranty expressed, written or implied. Any descriptions or representations are made with reasonable judgment and all efforts are made to ensure fair assessment and accuracy but they are for descriptive and identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. The seller shall not be responsible for errors in description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein and makes no warranty in connection therewith. If any aspect of the description contradicts what can be seen in the photos, then the photos shall prevail as the reference point. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, unforeseen imperfection, defect or damage. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have satisfied himself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects at the buyer’s request prior to the close of the auction. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any written or oral statements about the vehicle. Being a classic car in excess of 10 years of age, in most US states, the mileage may be recorded as “exempt”. In this regard the seller makes no warranties as to the accuracy of the mileage indicated or shown and accepts no responsibility for any discrepancy with independent reports such as Carfax, AutoCheck, etc. In this regard the seller makes no warranties as to the accuracy of the mileage indicated or shown. I can hold the vehicle up to 30 days while you arrange shipping but you must immediately insure it. I will not bear any responsibility for any additional costs including storage, transportation, or repair after the close of the auction. Whereas I am happy to store the car in excess of 30 days from auction end, a cost of $35 per day shall apply beyond 30 days of auction end. Also, you must remember that this is a classic +/-25 year old vehicle, and while it is up to you, I do not recommend that you just “hop in and drive it across the country”until you have familiarised yourself with the car. At least, I have never done that. I have always professionally transported the cars in enclosed carriers from where I bought them to my home. PLEASE; IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ABIDE BY THESE TERMS, CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU CONTEMPLATE DOING SO AS, RESPECTFULLY, THERE CAN BE NO EXCEPTIONS. I am sorry if these terms seem harsh but there seem to be some very unrealistic buyers out there - fortunately, only few of these people exist but those that do can make life difficult, so it appears EVERYTHING needs to spelled out. Very simply put, this is an old car being offered for sale. It is not new and is subject to the perils of age. Further, Rolls-Royces are not without nuances, idiosyncrasies and they are renown for a host of design issues which can make them not inexpensive to maintain. This is well documented in many circles. You need to be a special and considerate type of purchaser to own a Rolls-Royce. Their down-side is part of the fun in owning them! As the old saying goes; "we love to hate them and hate to love them!" So, please respect the terms and conditions when you bid. ~~oo00oo~~ ~~ **Please note: This Rolls-Royce is part of the collection of the Park-Ward Motor Museum. As a professional collector and experienced restorer and I have my own Rolls-Royce dedicated workshop with qualified craftsmen on hand. As a passionate collector of the marque I take great pride and pleasure in passing on any of my cars to its next owner (“caretaker”). In so doing, once this Rolls-Royce is sold, I will put the car back thru my workshop to ensure that it is mechanically sound and all major features and functions are operating as described even though the car is contractually being sold "as-is". Certain items such as final electrical tests and hydraulic pressure checks are usually left for this stage as these are considered "commissioning procedures". This and considerable other work will be performed after the sale and before delivery to ensure the car is in excellent order. This all done at NO CHARGE. Who else selling a Rolls-Royce on eBay does this?! This provides the buyer the peace of mind to purchase with complete confidence. Depending on our work load, please allow approximately 7-10 business days for this procedure. For more information on the Park-Ward Motor Museum and their skills, please contact me thru my eBay home page where I can direct you to see some 100 Rolls-Royces restored to varying levels over the last few years. ~~ FREE! Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present this exceptionally rare 1957 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I Mulliner 4 door Sedan. This right hand drive Silver and Dark Gray over Burgundy interior car is believed to be one of only 4 produced with suicide doors. The Mulliner body number is 6004. The odometer reads only 85,442 miles and the VIN is SYB162. The car’s current owner bought it nearly a decade ago in Palm Desert, California from the 2nd owner (a British fighter pilot). The 6 cylinder engine was rebuilt 5 years ago, is amazingly quiet, runs very well, and is backed by an automatic transmission. This car drives extremely smooth down the freeway as well as slower residential streets. This Rolls handles bumps and rough road spots wonderfully and much better than many other long wheel base cars. The acceleration, braking, and turning are very good as one would expect for such a car.Once inside the very cool comfort features are stylish and appear endless. The door armrests in the front are height adjustable with a small lever at the bottom. Below the armrests are storage pouches that are next to a knob that opens to even more stowage. The glove box is adequate for additional loading with a convenient and decorative handle above it that matches those between the doors. The dash is simply gorgeous in person and that trim is consistent around the interior and in both folding trays for rear passengers. The upholstery has been restored to precisely match the original door panels. The radio (with toggle switch for up and down antenna) has also been added since new. Additional neat observations on the interior include very elegant light fixtures, a pouch in rear with a matching pull out mirror, elevated headliner in front and rear (as designed in the ‘50’s for those with hats), front and back retractable center armrests, cigarette lighter with ash tray on each side in rear, and all handles and knobs are a tasteful compliment. The restoration was first class with the rebuilt engine, new radio, factory color paint, upholstery, brake lines and shoes, exhaust and fuel pump. Overall the car is very reliable, drives extremely well, and both the inside and outside look fantastic in person. Ad provided by ClassicCars.com

This 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II was unquestionably the finest car in the world when it was built, and today it still puts many luxury machines to shame. With old world presence, these are pretty much the last of the coachbuilt cars that were hand-tailored to their owners\' tastes, making it a very special machine in today\'s mass-produced world. When you show up in this car, there\'s no question what it is, and even someone who\'s never seen a Rolls-Royce before will innately recognize that this is an important car with an important person inside. The two-tone color combination was about as flashy as Rolls-Royce got, and it highlights the most interesting aspects of the car quite nicely, particularly that long hood. The paint job was done in the mid-2000s and uses subtle colors to great effect and it has lost none of the hand-crafted details that make Rolls-Royce motorcars so special. Over the Silver Cloud II\'s three-year production run, only 2417 were built, so it\'s unlikely you\'ll ever see another one at a red light, and even at shows, this car will draw a crowd because everyone recognizes that towering grille and Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament. And speaking of the grille, it shines up beautifully and might be the most recognizable shape in the automotive world, and there\'s enough chrome and brightwork on the rest of the car to make it look very substantial. The opulent red leather interior is every bit as magnificent as you would hope in a car like this. For some, the red may seem out of character, but it was actually a very popular choice, giving these big cars a sporting feel without compromising luxury. The seats and headliner were re-covered a few years ago, and the door panels are simply too nice to be original, so they must have been done at the same time. That\'s real burled walnut trim on the doors and instrument panel, and while it shows some lights signs of age, it also has a wonderful, warm patina that would be a shame to erase. Centrally-mounted Smiths gauges look the same as they did for decades, with crisp white numbers on a black background and their unique upside-down orientation. All the handles and switches are substantial chrome pieces that feel expensive and when it\'s closed up, the interior is as quiet as a tomb. Rear seat passengers are treated to fold-down tables and there\'s a well-shaped trunk with a full-sized spare and plenty of luggage space. The major difference between the Silver Cloud I and Silver Cloud II is the engine. The II debuted the 6.2-litre OHV V8 that is still in use in certain Bentleys today, and even in 1962, it was a fine performer. It looks complex in the engine bay, but works superbly and idles almost silently, moving the car with a sophisticated hum that\'s perfect for the big sedan. It has been well-maintained, which is critical in a car like this, and thanks to a GM-sourced Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, most mechanical parts are easy to find and relatively affordable. GM experts may also find the front suspension familiar, while the rear axle hangs on leather-wrapped leaf springs. Handsome painted wheel covers are fitted inside 235/75/15 whitewall radials with a correct narrow stripe. Nothing in the world can touch this car for upscale image, and it turns out that these are fine road machines as well. I\'m also confident that they won\'t remain this affordable forever. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom. For more information, please call (678) 279-1609 or toll free (877) 367-1835. Ad provided by OldCarOnline.com/cond>

Hi, I am listing this car for my father. It belonged to his deceased girlfriend and I am helping the estate sell the car. The car is a 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III. The exterior is a factory two tone of silver and blue. The interior is blue leather. The car is very striking in appearance and shows very well. The car was bought so my father's girlfriend could admire the car in the garage. She was very ill and this car brought her great joy seeing it parked in the garage and receiving proper care. Car has 82,000 miles and the mileage will not change as it sits on a battery tender in my father's garage. My father's girlfriend purchased the car a few years ago from a reputable Rolls Royce dealer here in the Chicago area. She paid nearly $50,000 for the car. In years past, the car was refinished both on the exterior and interior. Car presents very well and I would classify the car as a nice driver and one that you could show with no worries. It is not a 100 point show car and the price reflects as such. Car is right hand drive, has factory air conditioning which is very rare. The air conditioning blows cold and the car drives very well. I went for a drive around the block with my father and it is like gliding on air, plus it really garners attention. You are welcome to view the car in person as it is located in suburban Chicago. Transporting is the responsibility of the buyer yet we will assist in loading the car and making sure it is handled properly. My feedback is 100% and I intend to keep it that way. My cell is 815-575-3010 and you can text or call me. I'm happy to answer additional questions you may have and you are welcome to speak with my father directly. If you are a dealer, and asking to sell on consignment, I am not interested so please do not contact me.

This is a nice example of the most iconic Rolls Royce, the Sliver Cloud. The car is a Bentley S1 converted to a Rolls Royce, only the grill, hub cap, and the badge has been change to look just like a Rolls Royce, it is the same car . The car run and drive very well, I drove it last summer for 500 mi with no problem at all, does bring a lot of attention where ever you go. The motor is strong and run very good but somethime smoke, probably need valve seals. The transmission work properly, the brake are almost new only 700 mi since major brake job. The car was restored 15 years ago and still nice. The seats, carpet, headliner, wood was changed and still in very good condition. New 4 radial tires. The car will need a paint job to be perfect, light blemish and small crack but at 15 feet, the car look very nice. The A/C work but need to be recharge. The chrome is nice and shiny but the front bumper will need rechrome to be perfect. The underside of the car is clean and nice, no hole or major rust. This car will be perfect for weeding or for private collection.Don't expect to have a new car, but for the price it is a very good buy, ready to drive and enjoy as is. I did had a lot of pleasure driving it last summer selling because I just bought another one, a HAROLD RADFORD SPECIAL EDITION.We are located 15 min from the USA border Madawaska Me 04756. I will help for transport and papers for the border, it is very easy to bring it back to USA. For more info contact me thru Ebay or 506-739-5882
