This car is pretty much a time capsule. All original Antique White (11u Code) paint with absolutely no signs of repair anywhere (checked with digital paint gauge). The paint looks incredible and it only shows some normal road chips etc. The body is straight as an arrow and rust free. As you can see, the bumpers, trim, lights, and grilles all look outstanding. We note some very minor surface oxidation at the base of the left rear window garnish about 2 inches long (see pic) . It does not need to be addressed as far as we can see. The car is an absolute stunner and it looks like a well cared for 50k mile gem. This car has average under 1,400 miles a year and it really shows. The plastic trim fillers for the rear bumper were removed (notorious for dry rotting and falling apart) and the previous owner had purchased some new fiberglass pieces that have not been installed yet. Inward, the interior is incredible. Clearly the seats were covered their entire life as the material is flawless, literally. A true NON-SMOKER. We have never seen a cloth interior in this nice of condition, it is almost baffling. We know it to be original but the condition is unmatched. The carpets, trim and headliner are all outstanding. The dash shows brilliantly and all gauges are clear and functioning. This Caprice was loaded up with many great options including: Full Power Drivers Seat, Power Windows, Power Locks, AM/FM Stereo, Rear Defogger, AC, GM Floormats, and map light. Under the hood sits the bulletproof 400 CID V8 back by the factory correct and original GM Turbo Hydramtic Trans. Fuel and Air are supplied to the V8 through the correct Rochester M4MC 4 Barrel Carb. She runs and drives just as nicely as she looks. Clearly cared for over the years, the prior owner took pride in keeping this classic Bowtie sedan as nice as possible. The AC compressor moves freely but we havent charged it so we at know it will need to be charged. We didn't spend much time under the hood so you will notice there is some oil and residue around the motor but it is in excellent running and driving condition. It shifts nicely through the gears and makes great power. The brakes stop her nice and straight and the car tracks straight under acceleration. The tires are LIKE NEW and show no signs of drying or cracking. This car needs to be seen in person to truly be appreciated. We encourage you to ask any and all questions! If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.
