Our family friends got transferred to South America with short notice, so I am listing their FJ Cruiser on their behalf. This vehicle sports a two tone VooDoo blue and white paint job with roof rails. This vehicle was proudly serviced and maintained. The 239HP 4.0L V6 has lots of power when you need it and was driveway parked. It's great for cruising the highway or off-road with a lockable 4WD system, traction control and tow package. The split rear fold down seats deliver lots of cargo room when needed. The factory sound system still works great with a CD player and (6) speakers. The dash features a compass, clock, outside temperature thermometer, tachometer and incline indicator. Tires are at 5/32 to 6/32 tread depth. This vehicle is a head turner and has been lovingly serviced on a regular basis. 89,725 miles! There are some hairline scratches in the paint and scuffs on the bumpers. The interior is in good condition with normal wear and tear. The rear gate has a crease in it behind the spare tire (hidden) and a kink in the bottom reinforcement. The rear gate interior liner was removed for repair and is missing. This is a $500 to $600 fix assuming a labor and an OEM panel (see photos for details). It was owned by a mechanic and spent its entire life in New Mexico. It is mechanically in great condition. Everything works and needs nothing. No leaks! It has an upgraded 3.4 V6 Chevy engine that was purchase brand new in a crate and now has approx 70,000 miles on it and get 19-22 miles per gallon. (originally these came with a 2.8 Chevy engine when new) 5 speed manual transmission. The car has 250,000 miles on it. The frame is spotless and has no rust on it. It has 5 brand new Goodyear Wrangler tires ($700) and comes with 2 other sets of rims and studded snow tires. This Trooper can be driven anywhere!! It is however 25 years old and has faded paint but not bad, one bubble rust spot near rear tire well is only rust spot on entire vehicle. Interior carpet is stained and dirty and could use new carpet but not so bad I couldn't live with it. It has some rock chips in paint on very front near grill. I just had it rust proofed by Rust Check since coming to Indiana. Also comes with 2 extra sets of rims (see photos) Five 17" Isuzu trooper rims one rims has new tire on it and 15" studded snow tires and rims for winter. AC works good and the heater works great! It also has a new front windshield, old one was cracked. It was just fully serviced with Valvoline synthetic oil and ready to go, needs nothing!!! If your looking for a rugged winter vehicle this is it and you wont have to put any money into it right when you buy it like most others out there!! Very dependable!!The V6 motors are way less trouble the the 4 cyl which can go out at anytime and very hard to upkeep. More Power less problems! The best combo is a V6 with Manual 5 spd. transmission in these troopers. If you know anything about these vehicles they are great and will go anywhere!! Thank you for looking at our 1990 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4. This is not a vehicle that will be easily compared to others of its vintage for sale. My wife and I purchased this immaculate Toyota in Bellingham, WA from the son-in-law of the original owner. Sadly, the original owner had recently passed at a very advanced age. We were very fortunate to have been able to get all of the maintenance history and paperwork with the 4Runner. His son-in-law had taken care of all of the maintenance needs for the past decade and was adamant with us that the vehicle had been given "open-checkbook" maintenance always at the Toyota dealer. It shows. Everything on the truck is in perfect working condition. Even the rear window and wiper/washer work like brand new. The original cassette deck, 4 speakers, and power antenna work flawlessly as do all power windows and locks. There are factory anti-lock rear brakes and factory running boards. We recently installed a Yakima roof bar mount system which will be included with the truck. The roof box will not be included, however a 2-bike vertical carry hitch rack will be included in the sale. I have a brand new Toyota trailer-wiring harness kit in the box as well as a brand new factory Toyota block heater. The original speedometer was replaced due to the inavailability of factory speedometer cables by themselves. The entire speedometer head and cable was replaced by the dealer. Toyota service paperwork is included as are photos of the mileage on the truck and original speedo head. Original mileage is only 108,757 miles as of today. Brand new Cooper Discoverer studded snow tires have just been installed on the truck less than 1,000 miles ago. The last set of tires had good tread but they were aged and so we replaced them. Please note summer tires are not included as a result. This is a real survivor, second generation, second owner, perfectly maintained Toyota 4Runner. It drives like brand new with no rattles or squeaks. The engine and transmission are tight, powerful, and quiet. The exhaust system is new with no leaks. The timing belt has been performed twice and valves have been adjusted by Toyota per maintenance requirements each time. Many parts have been replaced preventatively including rear springs, all 4 shocks, the factory radiator and clutch fan (expensive items per receipts), and A/C converted to R134. The interior is flawless with only an extremely small flaw in the piping of the upper driver's seat bolster. This is shown in the photos. There are only 3 small dents on the entire vehicle which are also shown in close-up photos for your complete viewing. All paint is original and the clearcoat is flawless. There is no peeling, rust, or any marks to speak of besides the three tiny dents on the whole truck. All maintenance paperwork is included with the sale as are the owners manuals and window stickers. There is a handwritten maintenance log from the original owner also included documenting everything ever done. I will add our recent maintenance including oil changes, the new battery and tires in the log before shipping. If you become the next owner of this truck, you will be very pleased at the condition and originality.
