Despite having been bought and sold many times over the years, The Triumph Motor Company managed to produce some very eye catching and prized automobiles. In 1960 the ownership of Triumph was under Sir John Black which he named “Standard Triumph” On December 1st 1960, ownership was then traded to Leyland Motors Ltd. Model year designations for Triumphs were based on when they were sold from the dealer, not when built, so it is safe this TR3A was built under Standard Triumph. Officially there has never been a recognized model TR3A, only a model TR3; however after a facelift and other improvements these TR3’s are universally known as TR3A’s. The name change was to acknowledge the new front grille, which housed a larger radiator, exterior door handles, a lockable boot, a full tool kit, new floor-pans, windshield held with actual bolts not Dzus, and minor styling changes. Originally 58,000 production units sold, mostly sold to the American market, an estimated 9,500 are still in existence today. Coming out of a gentlemen’s car collection in Missouri, this Triumph has been well taken care of and is in great overall condition. This is a very solid car; the floor-pans, as well as, the frame rails are in great shape. It has been repainted using the correct Sunset Red and shows very well with only minor imperfections and road wear. All of the exterior chrome is in great condition and shows no sign of corrosion. The interior is in good condition boasting optional black leather bucket seats, they present well with only minimal signs of wear and the foam still retains is form. Also optioned with the Smiths heater the dash board is original and in good condition.. All of the Smiths gauges function as they should. The car comes complete with top straps and a brand new black soft top, but no side curtains. Both doors function as they should and have new weather stripping; along with the windscreen. The inline 4 cylinder true Triumph engine runs very well, making approximately 100hp. Although 100hp does not seem a lot it today’s term, it is more than enough to push the TR3A lightweight quickly down the road. Still retaining both SU carburetors, the entire fuel system has recently been flushed and the carburetors have been rebuilt. Both front disc brakes and rear drums have been rebuilt along with the clutch slave cylinder, allowing this car to stop extremely well. The 3 speed manual with 4th being an overdrive can match modern traffic without worry. With the estimated existing numbers of TR3A’s declining so rapidly, this is truly a special car. Perfect for Sunday cruises or draw attention at any car show. What are you waiting for? This Triumph is in extremely good condition! GET OUT AND DRIVE! Odometer currently shows 30,223 miles and is believed to be original, however due to age of vehicle, we can not guarantee an actual mileage claim. WE BUY CARS! The vehicle is available for inspection prior to bidding. If you are the high bidder and unable to inspect said vehicle before auction close, you or an agent will have (7) days to inspect said vehicle after the close of auction. I encourage a physical inspection strongly to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. No vehicle is perfect to everyone. Each vehicle has its strengths, styles, tendencies and shortcomings. Therefore, despite our best efforts to verify a vehicle’s mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturer’s workmanship or previous owner’s diligence in care. It is for this reason that all vehicles are sold ”WHERE/IS, AS/IS”. We have described the above mentioned vehicle to the best of our ability. However, with all classic and exotic vehicles, the condition is subjective. Please be advised that no oral or written statements concerning any vehicle constitutes a representation or warranty of the condition of the said vehicle. INDUSTRY UNIQUE RETURN POLICY: If for any reason you receive your vehicle and have buyer’s remorse, are not happy with the vehicle or just don’t want it for any reason we will purchase the car back from you. 1961 Triumph TR3A Roadster British Racing Green over Biscuit! Recently restored! 4-speed overdrive! Upgraded TR3B 2138cc motor! I am very pleased to offer this late model 1961 Triumph TR3A for sale! The car is finished in a classic shade of British Racing Green over a Biscuit interior. The car is powered by a 2138cc 4 from the later TR3Bs, a healthy upgrade from the original 1,991cc engine, and a fully synchronized 4-speed manual overdrive transmission! These are features found in the later “TR3B” and may suggest that this car was something of a predecessor to that car? The car is further fitted with several nice touches, including side curtain wind wings, electric radiator cooling fan, rack-and-pinion steering and 5.5” TR6 wheels. When the Triumph TR3 first appeared, in 1955, Triumph intended not simply to update the previous TR2 but also bring the Triumph driving experience and styling into the second half of the ‘50s! Being conservative by nature, Triumph debuted the car with the TR2’s 95 horsepower 1991cc 4 cylinder motor and drive train, which was actually more than enough for a car that weighed just over 2,000 pounds. However, Triumph then launched the “TR3A” in 1957. The “TR3A” further improving the car and incorporating wider front grille and becoming the first production car to feature front disc brakes! There were just 58,236 TR3As produced, of which less than 9,500 are documented to survive today! The ultimate iteration came in 1962 with the introduction of the TR3B, which later came standard with the TR4’s 2138cc engine making 105 horsepower and 127 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a full synchromesh 4-speed manual gearbox. This is a local New Mexico TR3A that has been totally frame off reconditioned over the last two years. The car was completely dissembled and sand blasted, then any rust was removed and replaced with new/repaired sheet metal. The body is very straight with excellent fit. Complete paint in a base coat/clear coat British Racing Green was done, all rubber replaced, new wiring harness, all trim, upholstery, and carpeting was redone and a new windshield installed. Engine and gearbox plus entire drivetrain rebuilt with new aluminum radiator and electric cooling fan, brakes, exhaust, suspension etc. Restoration is not Pebble Beach quality but very good for local shows and ready to drive anywhere. Interior has all restored gauges, lights and signals functioning as they should. Soft top frame has been restored with a tonneau cover and new side curtains. New wiring harness, trim redone with new windshield. Engine and overdrive gearbox plus entire drivetrain rebuilt with new carburetors, brakes, exhaust, suspension etc. Complete paint in British Racing Green, and all new leather and trim pieces in the cabin. The car runs and drives exceptionally well thanks to a recently rebuilt motor and transmission. The car makes for a very drivable and presentable example of one of Britain’s most popular roadsters and should make the next owner extraordinarily proud both at local shows and on short road trips! We would welcome any additional questions on this TR3A. Thanks for looking! I've had lots of questions, I’ll try to answer all that I can and stick them here at the bottom for everyone. I’ve had the car since the early ‘80s. March of 1983 I think. The odometer reads 33629 and I believe that to be the correct mileage, it has not been reset and, as I say, I've owned the car since early '83. I did a top level restoration right after I originally bought the car and drove it daily until the ignition failed in ’92. It then sat for several years until I decided to do a frame off restoration in 2008 or 2009. I pulled it down and worked on the restoration, on and off, till last spring when I more or less finished. I’ve been driving it occasionally since and, at the same time, ironing out some of the residual issues from the restoration. I have several other cars I’m working on and have garage space for them all, or did have till I bought a partially restored ’56 ford pickup and now I’m stuck for a place to put it. As it happens, I like restoring these guys more than I like owning them and since this one’s now done it’s the one my wife and I think should go. That is unless one of you wants a ’59 XK150 in pieces or a ’67 retro-model jaguar MK2? Anyway, here’s a partial list of the things I’ve done to the car: Newly rebuilt 2138 cc TR4 engineNew SU carburetorsRebuilt 4 speed with overdriveNew Performance Free-Flow ExhaustAdapted 5.5” TR6 wheelsTR4 rack and pinion steeringNewly rebuilt front suspension with new bushings and bearings Front anti-sway barAluminum radiator Electric radiator fan with thermostatic switchAll new or rebuilt gaugesNew switches throughoutNew wiring harnessNew base coat/clear coat paint, British Racing GreenNew upholstery, BiscuitNew carpet in the cab and bootNewly restored convertible top frameNewly Rebuilt side curtainsNew side curtain wingsNew windshieldLots of other new or restored parts like bumpers , grill, heater core, horns, even the shift knob and leather covered steering wheel. The car comes with a convertible top and a tonneau cover. As one of you wrote, it’s a very nice car. Please feel free to bid with confidence. If you have any questions or would like additional photos please feel free to email me.

TR3 Triumph 1959-60 cars/parts for sale. I’ve been accumulating for over 4 decades. The first car (1959} had a rebuilt block and heads 40 years ago, has run, but never been in service. Cylinder sleeve gasket leak. Motor stripped to block. Only the frame remains which is in poor shape. In 1979 I acquired a 1960 TR3 in poor condition. Motor, transmission and rear end still on original frame. Floor pans, sills and trunk floor rotted out. X on frame gone and the motor is seized. Has telescopic steering wheel. My last car is a 1960 southern car. Motor ran before disassembly. The transmission has electric overdrive. Frame has been shell blasted and primed and in excellent condition. Needs a light dusting before painting. Body shell in good condition although trunk floor is gone. Sills and floor pans fair to good. Replacements panels: Inner sills, floor pans, trunk floor, battery box. Rocker panels and front fender repair panels are rust covered. Power train: Three engines and transmissions. One with overdrive. Four rear ends. No interiors. Set of new side curtains/windows. Have a hard top.

Hi I am selling my 1960 Triumph TR3 which I bought with the sole idea of completing a full restoration. Unfortunately, shortly after purchasing the car, I was diagnosed with cancer so any restoration work was put on hold while I underwent treatment. As I improved in health I thought it was time to resurrect my project but, unfortunately, my cancer problems returned, and after undergoing a long and very tiring additional round of treatments it’s time to admit that I no longer have the energy required to undertake this project. About the Car. I bought the car from a lady who inherited it from the estate of a loved relative. She told me how she remembered riding in the car as a child, and of all the good times she had. The owner, a doctor from Nevada, owned the car for many years and I have documentation of work he had done on the car during this time. They are included in the sale. Since then all the upholstery, carpets and door cards have been renewed and are shown in the pictures of the car. Also included are a small amount of spare parts I had started to gather, ready for the start of the restoration, along with books bought detailing a full restoration of the car. The car has a very sound chassis, bottom seals under doors are sound, as are the openings around both doors, a known weak point on these cars. The engine starts and runs with a good oil pressure, fifty pounds pressure at idle, shown in pictures. All Lighting is in working order. Now for the things that I know need looking at. The needle has come off the rev counter and this needs to be disassembled and reattached. I was going to replace the front and rear wings/fenders, as the front one has a split in it and the rear shows signs of filler. These unbolt, so replacement should not be that difficult or you can repair the ones on the car if you want to. Tires are new, although several years old, but show no signs of cracking, so it’s up to the new owner to decide what you want to do. This is a nice car for its age and an excellent base for a full restoration or just to do the basics and drive as is. The car is being sold as is with no warranty implied or given. Arrangements for transport are the responsibility of the new owner although I will assist in any way I can. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

1961 TR3A in Signal Red. 78K miles. Restored years ago before this owner. It is complete and authentic. Car has been stored in carport and covered. The cars shows well but the lacquer paint does have some minor cracking/crazing in a few places. Engine starts right-up and idles nicely and pulls strong with excellent oil pressure and temperate. The gearbox shifts nicely, the clutch works well and the brakes are firm. Interior is off-white with newer black carpet. The dash is very nice and functional except of a missing hi/low switch lever. Steel wheels with original Triumph hubcaps and radial tires in excellent condition. Has period AMCO windwings and luggage rack as well as correct bumpers, grille and original British Triplex windshield glass. Original steering wheel is in very nice condition. Also included are tonneau cover and storage cover. Chassis is solid and not rusted although there is very minor surface corrosion as one would expect. Have top frame but not the convertible top. Aging father is forcing this sale since he can no longer drive her. This is FOURTH TR3A dating back to 1959 so you know she’s been cared for and driven well. I wish I could drive it as well as he did! This car always turns heads and bring positive comments from onlookers. Have clear California title. Have $20K invested, asking $18K.

1962 Triumph TR3B Roadster Rarest and Most Collectible TR3 with TR4 Engine & Full Synchromesh 4-Speed Transmission Triumph Racing Green with Biscuit Leather Interior Restored with Performance Upgrades Serial # TCF1354L About the TR3B The Triumph TR3B is an unofficial name given to the final version of the TR3 which was offered concurrent with the TR4 between March 1962 and October 1962. The TR3B was a special, short-production run by Triumph in response to dealer concerns that U.S. buyers might not welcome the new TR4. The TR3B appearance was identical to the late U.S. version of the TR3A. Two series of TR3Bs were produced, one with a serial number preceded by TSF of which 530 were produced and one with a serial number preceded by TCF of which 2,804 were produced. The TSF series were identical to the last run of TR3A with the 1998 cc (2.0) liter engine and the TR4 all-synchromesh gear box. The TCF series had the TR4 all-synchromesh transmission and the 2138cc (2.2) liter TR4 engine with 105 hp at 4,650 rpm and 127 ft lbs of torque at 3,350 rpm. Fuel mileage was around 20 to 30 miles per US gallon and the top speed was about 110 mph limited by the gear ratio. It weighed 2,137 lbs. Automobile Magazine (October 2013) featured the Triumph TR2/TR3 in its Collectible Classics series stating: “The TR3 packs a lot of style in a small package. These Triumphs feature great, down-swept bodywork and faired-in headlights that could almost make them a poor man's Jaguar XK120. With these cars, the styling isn't just something you admire from the outside; it's integral to the behind-the-wheel experience, as well. The cut-down doors, padded along the top, make for perfect elbow rests. Combined with the delicate, chrome-framed windshield, they create a real out-in-the-elements experience, almost like riding a motorcycle. These Triumphs offer the unfiltered British roadster experience, with style that belies their diminutive size. Performance that's better than many of their contemporaries makes them enjoyable on the road even today. Simplicity and widespread parts availability help keep them on the road tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, TR3 prices have been quietly sneaking higher but have yet to really skyrocket, leaving plenty of appreciation potential.” This CarLeft-hand drive TR3B built in August 1962 for export to North America. Numbers match the factory records - chassis, body, engine and transmission. Serial # TCF1354L , Body # 1917-TSF. Triumph racing green with biscuit leather interior. Chrome wire wheels. Original 2138 cc engine (TCF1401E) and 4-speed full synchromesh transmission (TSF1828). Original factory equipment included heater, black tonneau cover, all-synchromesh gearbox, 86 mm pistons/bore engine, windscreen washers, adjustable steering column, 590x15 whitewall tires. Three owners since 1974 (40 years). Ground-up restoration beginning with a numbers-matching car with very straight, original body panels and very little rust. Only the rocker panels under the doors were replaced, all the remaining panels are original. The chrome is original and in very good condition except the face of the right front bumper overrider on which the original chrome has peeled. The previous owner stated he spent over $50,000 on the restoration not including the cost of the car. Over $5,000 (parts only) in performance upgrades: - Rare 42 DCOE side draft Weber carburetors, - Exhaust header with Monza sport exhaust, - Stainless steel fuel tank, - Moto Lita steering wheel & adapter hubs, - (5) 15 x 4.5” wire wheels, knock off caps, etc, - Vredestein 185/70R15 tires. Interior has leather seating surfaces, door tops, etc. Black carpets & rubber mats. Black soft top, side curtains and tonneau cover. Soft top frame included but removed because the car is never driven in the rain. PPI's WELCOME OFFERS WELCOME! Evolve Motors is pleased to present our gorgeous 1960 Triumph TR3A. Originally delivered in California (as identified by firewall tag STC-61), the car spent the better part of its life on the west coast. We have complete documentation that has followed the car almost since new. At some point, prior to restoration, the owner moved to Minnesota and the title was transferred to Minnesota. The car was back to California in 1992 with its owner and that is where it was restored. The titles was transferred back to California with the same owner and that is where the car was up until 2004 when it made its way back to Minnesota to the garage where it has sat since. The 27k miles is accurate as we can confirm with all the records on file. We show the car with 22,358 Miles in 1983 on the California registration. Furthermore in 1991 it showed 25,723 Miles and in As was the case with most Triumphs of this era, this cars title denotes a 1961 while the vin tag decodes as a 1960. Technically the car is a 1960 however, since it was sold in 1961 it is title as such and accompanied by the firewall tag STC-61. We were pleased to find this car for a number of reasons. First and foremost because its California life shines through everywhere. It is extremely dry and one of the most solid TR3's we have laid eyes on. The sills, firewall, trunk and spare tire compartment are surprisingly solid and free from rust issues. This supporting its proper storage in Minnesota as we expected. This late prodcution TR3a has its original motor in tact and in good running condition. We spent a good amount of time and money getting the mechanicals sorted and turning it into an excellent runner and driver. As you can see in the pictures, we had our reputable techs at the Sports Car Store spend a bunch of time dialing this TR3 in all around. The body, as you can see, shows like a true California native. We believe it was restored in the mid-90s however it wasn't completely reassembled until we got our hands on it. This tell us that, consistent with what the owner told us, the car sat in the garage of his house collecting dust for last number of years. We were quite pleased with how the car cleaned up and because of its overall condition we elected to leave it the way we found it. It truly is a stunner and shows nice and straight. We note the quality of the globe wheel centres. We refinished all 4 of the wheels in black and it really sets the car off nicely. As you can see we do have the original boot cover, side curtains (in need of recovering and sliders), spare tire and wheel, original dzus key, top frame and covering. The car has add-on side glass deflectors which really look nice and function well. Inward the interior is well in tact and extra clean. We had a full carpet kit professionally installed along with new door panels. The dash shows the perfect amount of patina and all gauges function properly. The original turn signal and horn trafficator is in place and functional which is mounted to the original steering wheel. The seats are in excellent condition, free from wear and damage, further supporting its days spent indoors. It has normal blemishes as we detailed in the pictures. Our digital paint gauge tells us that the rockers are original and solid, free of rust and not covered in filler. We also not that the trunk panels and seams all show nice and dry. Under the hood we not the quality of the firewall as well as the bottom of the battery tray. Making our way around the rest of the car we detect some repair spots on the fenders and quarters that were addressed when restored. We do not detect and impact sites or structural repair areas. The body shows quite nicely and has normal blemishes as you would expect from a car sitting in a garage. Please view all pictures as we have done our very best to disclose everything properly. Under the hood sits the original engine in great condition with original ignition system and wiring. We serviced the car mechanically and restored many of the systems including the original heater core, which is in good working order. The cars were rebuilt along with a laundry list of other service items (see above). The engine compartment shows very nicely, dry and clean. The wiring is all properly routed and shows brilliantly. The underside of the car is fantastic as you can see. It has solid pans, straight rails, and nice body mounts. The underside shows the true quality of this time capsule. The car runs and drives wonderfully and all lights and indicators work properly. We note that the trafficator, while working, does not hold its position so we manually move it as needed. The car tracks nice and straight and stops straight as well. The new exhaust system sounds fantastic. We note a common 1st gear and reverse noise, indicative of a tooth burr or chip. We elected to change the fluids and service it rather than rebuild as this is a common occurrence. We do believe this to be the original gearbox as indicated by the stamps on the side of the housing. 2Nd , 3rd, and 4th gear are as quiet and smooth as you would expect. Overall this is a wonderful driver that is an absolute blast to sprint around in. This is a unique opportunity to own such a well documented and well situated TR3a with much originality and provenance. Triumph TR3 show car restoration project, Im calling it a "project" but thats only because it needs the finishing touches done to it. Look at the pics....all the major things are done. It's a running car that you can start and drive. Over 15 years of collecting parts and many many hours of work have been spent to make this one of the nicest TR3's you will find. Over $25K invested over the years...Im selling it for much less than I have in the car. Read on if this sounds like THE car for you. The only reason I am parting with it is I just have too many classic cars and have 2 more cars I need to find room for...I hate to let this car go but it's coming down to my Ferrari, my Benz or this TR3 will have to move outside... Im simply out of room and no time to spend on it, so it needs a new home. The buyer can have it sent out for paint, get a leather seat kit for $500 bucks, redo the seats while the car is getting painted...install a $300 carpet kit when the car comes back from the paint shop...install the seats and have a $35K car. I wish I had the time and space to finish it...but I simply dont. If you are the kind of person that can do all the work yourself...the cost to finish is car is very low. The paint and clear will run you 400, the seats 400-600 and a carper kit w/underlay is 300. Some people may think my price is too high but I know what it cost me to build this car...so if you think the price is too high...go buy a cheaper one...sink a number of years of your time into it, spend another 15K-20K on parts and materials...and you'll have what this one is. Im not trying to justify the price...just explaining why it is what it is. Up for auction is my 1959 Triumph TR3. Commission number TS41861L. There is another brass plate with 10116748 on it. This car has had a frame off restoration. All the hard stuff is done car needs: paint, carpet and a seat kit. It has new floor pans, new trunk pan, new spare tire pan, new rocker panels and a new passenger side inner sill. All body to frame mounting points are solid. The frame and suspension components have been painted with Centari Silver and the under body was painted with PPG Black Sapphire metalic base coat ( 1993 GM Truck DBU4003) then clear coated. It's a very dark blue metalic. Looks black until the light hits it. Very rich looking color. All the body panels from the doors back have been blocked sanded out and are VERY straight! From the doors forward, it needs very minor body work here are there to be perfect. It has not been block sanded yet from the doors forward. The deck lid, trunk pan, wheel wells, doors, rockers, floors, fenders, sills and the hood are 100% rust free. It has new hood and trunk hinges and I have new stone guards that go on the front bottoms of the rear fenders. I also have the original stone guards and personally I think they fit better but are 56 years old. They have dents from stones but can be polished out...they look OK for being what they are and their age. The exterior body panels were all taken down to bare metal (as was the rest of car) and all the panels currently are shot in white expoy primer (both sides). The engine was totally rebuilt and assenbled by MG Automotive in Kettering OH. The crank was turned 10-10 and fitted with new bearings and thrust washers. The head studs were replaced with new ones. New figure 8 gaskets. The rear oil seal was updated to get rid of the non working factory reverse scroll seal thing Triumph did back then. No real "seal" on the rear main which is why they all leaked even when new! This crank was turned to get rid of that scroll gear at the rear of the crank and the seal has been upgraded to the more modern lip type oil seal. The timing chain cover also got a new seal. The pistons and liners are the 86MM varity and new...and basically have zero miles on them. The old PITA messy oil filter canister was replaced with a spin on oil filter adapter. I still have the original one if you want it but why? I guess if you are going to show the car and want the original look I get that, but personally I wanted to have easier oil changes. I had no intention of ever selling this car and I was doing it up nice for ME! So I made some small originality changes here and there that make the car better IMO. I mean do you want an original rear oil seal that leaks by design or one that wont soil your driveway? Im a stickler for orignal as well and the next guy but sometimes better is just better and ya do it. Anything I "changed" I kept the original parts so if you want it that way...you can put those parts back on. The engine bay is text book clean...very impressive. The car is fitted with a new stainless steel exhaust system and a new correct rear muffler hanger. The head was rebuilt with new guides, valves and valve springs. The spring spacers on the rocker shaft were updated with solid spacers verses the original spring type spacers. It has new push rods and lifters. A new copper head gasket was installed. The carbs were rebuild and the linkages were replated. The intake manifold is the best one Triumph made for this engine. Long straight runners verses the original TR3 intake which has a big flat spot where the fueled air tuborlates. It's a little longer intake but the new air cleaners allow for fender clearance. I have the crap TR3 intake if you want it. The factory tired valve cover was replaced with a very nice billet aluminium valve cover and a new vented cap. You get the factory valve cover too....but it needs replated. The SU fuel pump was just rebuilt and works great. The distributor is good and has original style bumble bee wires . The screw in coil wire coil is a nice vintage touch and from the correct time period...but it is not the original coil. The starter and generator were rebuilt by The Electric Garage in Beaverckeek OH. The radiator was checked and pressure tested and a new cap installed. The water pump was replaced with a new water pump and it has the correct thermostat. The gas tank is clean inside and has a new sending unit. It has been stored without any gas in the tank. The car has the original gas tank chrome latching cap. I just recently put gas in it so I could start it...and drive it up and down my country road to ensure everything was working. I have put no road miles on this car as until 2 months ago the body panels were not on it. I was going to just hang those and list it but went ahead and wired the car got all that working correctly then kept putting all the parts I could back on the car to make it easier for the next person. Plus it's just easier to load an assembeled car than to load a bunch of parts. Things get broken that way in transit...so I basically hung the panels back on brought everything online and made it driveable. All my new hydraulics had gone bad from time. It made me mad because there was no fluid in it and you wouldnt expect new parts to go bad...but they did. Luckily I inspected everything before I put any brake fluid in it or Id have had a mess on the new firewall paint. All that has just been gone over and it all works as it should...no leaks. The transmission was inspected but nothing needed to be done inside the gear box...no wear showing to justify a rebuild. It has a new clutch disk, throw out bearing, pressure plate and a used (but in perfect condition flywheel) from TSI Automotive, Ted Shoemaker in Pandora OH. It shifts well, no grinding noise from it. I also got new front adjustable racing shocks from Ted. They didnt come cheap...but very nice adjustable racing shocks. The rear lever shocks were rebuilt by Apple Hydraulics. Rear springs are good. The rear differential cover gasket was replaced. The front suspention is all new. New polyurethan A-arm bushings replaced the inferior OEM rubber bushings. New ball joints upper and lower, new tie rods inner and outter, new trunions and new front springs were installed. The rear brakes got new wheel cylinders, springs and shoes. The front brakes got new rotors, pads and the calipers were rebuilt. The front lines to the calipers are stainless braided lines as is the rear line to the T fitting that feeds the rear brake lines. The hydraulics were all just rebuilt or replaced...brake master (new), clutch master (new seals) and clutch slave (new). The clutch operates as it should and the brakes are like new...nice firm pedal. The brake and clutch pedals have new rubber pads on them. It has a restored Smiths heater core and fan assembly...the fan is connected and working but I do not have the water hoses for it. I was looking for the orignal ribbed type hose and never got around to tracking it down. I pressure tested the heater core and it held pressure so pretty confident it wont leak. The car comes with a white rag top and it also has the factory hardtop...the hardtop needs body worked and the rear window...but you get one, they are ultra un-obtainium and very pricey if you do find one. I have the curtians for it but they need redone. The car has been totally rewired and all the lights, turn signals and even the horn all work. The fuse box has 2 original Lucas fuses. Yes 2 fuses...1 relay (the flasher) and that's it LOL. The wiring to the fuse box and voltage regulator looks better than factory. Every wire is nicely dressed and all the ends are good where they connect. The wires running through the column to the turn signal control head were replaced. The car has tripod headlights and new rubber headlight seals to the apron. New seals on the tail lights too. The speedo and tach are in VGC but it's is missing the L adapter on the tranny so the speedometer is not currently hooked up the gauges in the center pod are mostly original except for the temp gauge. I replaced the problematic capilary tube setup with a sender and a Smiths temp gauge of the period. The oil pressure gauge is good but needs connected at the engine. I am missing the rubber hose to connect it. The amp gauge works, fuel gauge works. The original Speedometer was missing when I got the car and had to buy a new one. Since the car has had basically every part replaced...the mileage shows 00000 on the new speedo. Yes it's pretty much a new 1959. Im telling you folks...you dont see them this nice...come see it! Paint it, do the seats and install carpet...it's a $35K car! The cowl vent flap/door open and closes from the pull handle on the dash. I bought a new interior panel kit: gas tank cover, wheel well material, rear side panels and both front door panels. They are grey and look great. They are not secured but I have the screw kit. I have all the cockpit cappings and the grey leather to redo them but they need glued on. The dash panel needs the glove box door, the slide and hinge screwd in. It has a new steering wheel and the steering box is tight. New silent block bushings. No play in the steering... but it's all new it should be tight! It has freshly painted factory steel wheels with chrome repo hubcaps and center globe emblems. I also have a set of wire wheels for it. They need tires...Ive never ran them so dont know how "true" they are. I dont have the hub adapters to mount the wire wheels on the car but they are readily available. The Michilin tires on the car have 0 miles on them and all match. Some very small age cracks but still very decent tires. All hold air and never go flat. Id drive anywhere on them. Personally I like the steel factory wheels...and these look very good on the car....but you do get a set of correct wire wheels for it. I have a spread sheet that shows what Ive bought over the last 15 years for this project. If you want it, just ask and Ill send it to you. I would love to finish this car as it wont take much to do it but I have way to many projects and realistically Im just not going to be able to get to it for another 2 years. Id rather sell it and use the money to fund finishing other projects. Things I know it needs: seats covered, block sanded from the doors forward and painted. I have a front bumper and the brackets for it but the bumper itself needs work. I do not have the rear bumperetts either but I have the mounts for them. I have misplaced the hood popper spring so unless I can find it you might need one of those. Im still looking for it...I know I have one. I have door handles for it but they are not show perfect and no key for them so you'll want to get new ones. With paint seats and carpet, this car will be about as perfect as they come. At least a $25,000 car...likely much more! There is a reason these cars finished fetch high dollar values...the parts are getting very hard to find and good parts for it dont come cheap. As I said my spread sheet totals over 25K and that does not include ANY labor...there were countless hours put in on this car....it looks like a model...really really clean, come see it for yourself. I have basically driven the car to test and tune it...maybe 5-10 miles of driving and it runs nice. Starts up easily engines has good power...gets down the road well. It runs good now but as with any sports car further adjustments will likely make it run even better. I ensured the plugs and points were gapped correctly, adjusted the valves and played with the timing until it seemed to run decent. It comes with a clear title ready to be signed by the new owner! I prefer you come get it or send a carrier for it but I do have a car trailer and can deliver it for a fee if need be...however, dont ask me to bring it to the west cost. You'll need to arrange a carrier if you are real far away. I will assist your carrier in loading the car and I will ship the car anywhere. The buyer is responsible for any and all shipping arrangements and costs. I will not release the car until full payment has been made. I prefer payment in cash upon pick up of the car. I do not want a check or wire transfer as there can be problems. I dont want a mess after the sale. Simply put, bring the money...we load the car...I give you the title...you take it home....easy for both of us. If I have the cash in my hand I know it's safe to release the car. I am advertising the car locally also and reserve the right to cancel the auction early in the event of a local sale. This is a no reserve auction so once there is a bid, I will consider the car "selling on Ebay" and will pull all other ads. The car goes to the highest bidder at that point. Again I apologize for the long description and Im sure I forgot things Ive done....but this car has had so much done to it, it's hard to remember all the steps...just too many to recall. It's a show piece...it just needs a new owner to take it the rest of the way...all the hard expensive stuff is done. Due to the nature of all old mechanical things, this car is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. It starts runs well, stops, shifts and everything electronic works. The new owner will get all the receipts I managed to save. I do not have all 15+ years of receipts but you'll get what I have. Good luck to everybody...the winner will not be disappointed. If you have any questions, please ask...you want to come inspect the car, Ill be happy to show it to you. You can reach me at 937-768-0588 if you have questions.

If you have any questions or would like additional photos please feel free to email me. On Oct-21-15 at 15:51:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok, lots of questions. I’ll try to answer all that I can and stick them here at the bottom for everyone. I’ve had the car since the early ‘80s. March of 1983 I think.
