1962 Ford Falcon Station Bus for sale (that's the official name). 112,000 original milesI'm the third owner and acquired it from my dad (who was the second owner) in around 1988Windows all the way aroundSeats are not original--they are from an 80's era Ford WindstarIncludes spare tire on original (?) wheel170 I-6, 3 on the treeIt's been sitting for a long time but will run well with a little TLC. Probably not safe to drive without some minor work to make sure the brakes work, replace the tires, likely needs fuel tank clean-out, oil change, diff fluid change, etc.Some very minor body work needed, but it's overall pretty rust-free. It had some cracks in the filler material at one time so I immediately sanded it down and painted it to prevent rusting.Falcon badges on doorsInterior is basically bare other than seatsIt of course takes regular LEADED fuel, so you'll need a lead additiveEquipped with an aftermarket 1-BBL Holley, but I have the original which I will include. The new carb is auto-choke, but the old one is a manual chock using a cable from the front of the dog house. The choke cabling is still in place, so it will easily take the original carb once rebuilt.Includes the original oil-bath air cleaner, steering wheel center/horn button, and some other misc parts in a box.Comes with THE ORIGINAL keys too! It needs a good home where someone will give it the care it needs and deserves! I love this old van. My Ebay username is even tailored after its resemblance to the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine! It is a blast to drive since you sit slightly ahead of the front wheels. This makes the front seat ride incredibly smooth. The angle of the steering wheel makes it feel like a big city bus too. It is not quick by any means, but gets you from point A to point B. It has been basically untouched for many years now. I used to run it every couple of months, sometimes in place and sometimes I'd drive it around the neighborhood, but it has been sitting in its current spot for about 5 years now. That's what told me it is time to let it go! Repairs over the years include: new radiator, new muffler (currently has a Cherry Bomb--it sounds really cool on the old I-6!), new valve cover gasket, new heater core, new heater fan control switch, new defrost ducting, new fuel pump, had generator rebuilt (yes, generator, NOT alternator), new motor mounts, new king pins, new carb. Please keep in mind these repairs have taken place over 28 years, so I'd stop short of using the term "recent"! It was last registered in approximately 2001. Once it is roadworthy and when you register it, you may want to do a little work to get the recorded name changed from Station Bus to Econoline or similar. Twice I have been pulled over by the police because the word "station" was in the registration notes they can see, and they assumed it meant station wagon. It is clearly not a station wagon but a van, so they did their jobs (a little too) well and pulled me over to confirm I didn't have stolen license plates. Ford put out several Falcon branded vehicles in the 60's including the sedan, Ranchero style truck, truck with a van front-end (Econoline truck), and this Econoline-based version. The Econoline "line" has several variants in and of itself which I can no longer recite from memory, but Google can tell you the whole story. Sorry about the pictures too--they don't show the rear or driver's side very well due to its position in my garage. Trust me when I tell you they are both in similar condition to the sides you can see in the pictures. Oh--and I will clear out the junk inside it too, so don't worry about having to deal with that. In case you're wondering what kind of crazy you're dealing with: we live in the woods so the golf clubs in the interior picture are suspended to keep the mice out of the bag. :) Feel free to contact me with questions. I have just completed a 3 year restoration on the ranchero.completely rebuilt 170 inline 6 cyl engine ...approx 350 miles after the restoration. New starter, new generator, new clutch, pressure plate, disc and throw out bearing, new carb, reconditioned gas tank,new sender, 4 new tires. All new brakes and hardware, new front and rear glass, new rubber seals, felts, all new interior deluxe, recored radiator, new heater core, new epoxy primer and paint. Detailed under side, no rust, clear arizona title. Drives great. This car has all original sheet metal with no rust, with the exception of the floor pan and the passenger compartment which was replaced with reproduction sheet metal. This is a very straight, extremely clean car. Some of the original chrome is still on the car with minor imperfections. Original steering wheel which has small heat cracks. This is probably one of the cleanest rust-free 1962 Rancheros on the market. The vehicle has been in Florida for only 2 weeks so don't think this is a Florida rust-bucket bondo queen. :) The vehicle is originally from Arizona and was restored in Michigan. Thanks for stopping by to take a look at our very cool and absurdly rare 1963.5 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. Ford’s Flagship sport car just before the advent of the Mustang, this car is an excellent example of a rare combination of factory equipment, originality and pure California Cool. This Falcon was recovered from an estate sale here in so cal. It was disassembled but mostly complete. The gentleman who had begun the restoration was very meticulous about cataloging parts. We found zero body filler. All of the panels were very clean. Much but not all of the chrome was replated. Everything else was either completely rebuilt or replaced with OEM new. RarityWe used the term absurdly rare for this Falcon. While quite a few Falcons were built in 1963, this one sports a rare combination of being a Futura, Convertible, V8, 4 Speed car from the factory. It’s nearly identical to a Sprint except that is has the factory front bench seat (to keep the girlfriend close) and no tach on the dash. Few Sprints were built and even fewer still configured as a Futura like this one. Matching numbers, refinished to factory spec with a few upgrades, (the mid package; headers, exhaust, radio, wheels and tires). Exterior.Rangoon Red respray in 2016 is correct to the trim tag. Nice and clean original Rangoon Red paint can be found in the trunk and convertible top stowage area. Wheels, Tires15” Custom made Magnum 500 wheels and new Cooper Cobra tires. Original Futura hub caps and wheels are included. Engine260 CID Ford V8, headers and a fresh dual exhaust with chrome concealed tips. Freshly serviced radiator, new water pump, belts and hoses. This great American classic Cadillac Eldorado is a local car that was pampered its entire life here in Newport Beach California. We picked her up and drove her home as you see in the photos. Generally, we don’t find cars of this vintage in “start up and drive” condition but this Caddy was driven gently but regularly. Every bit of maintenance is up to date. The AC has been upgrades to 134 and holds a charge just fine. This Cadillac sports renowned personal luxury car styling by Bill Mitchell that still looks great today. New exhaust complete to the fat tailpipes. All electrical up to date as well, alternator, starter, distributor, solenoid and regulator all check out. Thanks for stopping by to view our listing for a very cool Honda Z600 Coupe. These Z600 Coupes represented the beginning of the Japanese hot hatch and JDM movement in the US. Developed from Motorcycle roots, the Air Cooled 2 cylinder with an 8000 RPM Tach moves this 1300lb super lightweight along at a fast clip. The Honda 600 was originally sold in Honda motorcycle dealerships alongside their 2 wheeled cousins because there were no Honda auto dealers in existence. Honda specs stated 81 MPH and 40 MPG. However, most people found that the actual gas mileage was closer to 48 MPG! Updated in Southern California JDM style, this Z Coupe features an aggressive stance, Fat Cosmics, Boss Audio, cool graphics and a wailing exhaust note you’ll love. Two stage clear coated paint means this shine won’t fade. RarityFew and far between in 2016, many of these cars were delivered to the eastern US where rust took its toll. Note that this is an Early VIN California car with small bumpers! Fresh two stage respray in Summit White has been color sanded, polished and buffed to a high sheen. The car was disassembled and painted inside and out. Badges, antenna and side marker lights have been shaved. Chrome trim is now monochrome body color. The front bumper has been tucked in tight with the crossbar and signals removed. A smooth custom grill, halogen headlights and custom spoiler finish out the aggressive styling.
