Here is a true classic muscle car up for sale that when restored there were no stones left unturned. The project took 12 years to complete and has every aspect documented. I have read the complete documentation and I want to share the first few paragraphs of the story by the builder / owner. This project started with a genuine GTO. Upon detailed examination I identified that none of the OE engine and drive train components stated on the factory build sheet existed with the exception of a 65 Tri-Power manifold and carbs. What did exist was a 66 421 block and a 70-72 M20 four speed mated to a 12 bolt rear end with 308:1 gearing. The project plan was to build a strong street machine taking advantage of the knowledge that has been gained by my research reading of advances/enhancements created by others over the years with GTO’s in the restoration / modification industry as well as utilizing my 34 years of automotive engineering experience to create a cosmetically correct restoration utilizing the components that came with the car as I bought it while locating and adding some desirable 1965 factory options not included during the factory build of this vehicle to enhance the final package. The restoration of this car is so extensive we had the restored Rally Gaga package set to zero as this is truly a new car. The car has 1303 miles on it since completion in June of 2011. A copy of complete documentation of this car can be email for your reading. The highlights of the car are the very powerful four bolt main 421 CI motor producing 468 HP @4900 rpm and 552 lb/ft of torque@3900. The motor sports Edelbrock heads and about every high quality performance part available for the big Indian. There is no power steering or power brakes and this is what muscle cars about. The sissy creature comforts were not added for the real 60’s feel. The car drives and handles and brakes excellent. The brakes were upgrade to a dual Corvette style master cylinder instead of single reservoir. The motor was designed to run on 93 Octane pump gas. This was a frame off restoration and every part was touched analyzed and deemed worthy or replace with OE parts and or the best replacement parts available. No expense was spared to reproduce this car. From the custom made coated headers to the aluminum performance drive shaft this car complete and rock solid. The complete electrical system is new and upgraded by the auto engineer owner and again it is quality through out the system. The car is 100% rust free now and every attempt to coat all the surfaces after they were stripped to bare metal to ensure this would never be an issue with this car. The body is slick and straight and base clear Torch Red. The interior is new with only quality products has well as the glass which is all tinted. If you always wanted a true GTO muscle car this is for you. There is so much information and complete parts listing and dyno sheets and the list goes on. If you want to go for a week end cruise to a car show or bang some gears through the new Hurst shifter, this car will impress you. The builder / owner will go over every item on car and show you how he built car with the aid of big business names he used to help. Labor of love and he met his goal of an awesome show car and muscle car. The GTO has never been raced or hot rodded. The car is available for inspection in Cookeville TN. The car can ship world wide and the new owner is responsible for shipping. Car can be driven anywhere. There are many, many pictures of car available and owner is on board to discuss all aspects of build. Here is possibly the lowest mileage 70 Fairlane 2 door hardtop anywhere. This car has been a Tennessee car it whole existence and that means it is extremely rust free. The car was purchased in Crossville, TN 9/15/70 by a woman who did not travel very far from home. In 2000 her nephew inherited it upon her passing. He passed away in July 2015. I bought it from the widow. I was told the car always sat in a garage or car port. The mileage is believed to be correct, and the widow insisted it was. There were no service records wrote down to prove this 100%. There is a tag on the door where the oil was changed in 1978 and it showed 11,000 miles then. I am part owner of a high end auto restoration company in Cookeville, TN. I went over this car for 1.5 hours looking at every aspect of it. The car has had one repaint but before the year 2000. I remember this color and I know it faded bad and that would explain why it was resprayed. The paint job is not perfect and has some fish eyes and dust in it and could be cleaned up some by buffing. There are a couple of chips in paint but the car is very presentable. The body is very straight with zero dings or dents. It appears all parts are original to the car except the upper radiator hose and by pass hose on t-stat housing and inner headlights in the grill. The outer headlights bear the FOMOCO script but one is burned out. The heater hoses are original with D0OA part numbers. The factory markings are all in place. I believe the original Ford tune up is still in car. What is so cool about this car is that it has never been tampered with and the new owner will know exactly what they have. I drove the car a few miles and it runs out good. I am selling this car the way I found it for now. This is the way I want to sell it. It needs A/C charged, a tune up, brakes rebuilt for safety. The motor is 302 2-V with automatic. This would be F Code This car is perfect for entry level low budget weekend cool cruiser car. I could see a new set of Crager SS, some TA's and sweet sounding Magna Flow dual exhaust. The only eye sore is that the chrome on the rear bumper has some rust and needs to be replated. There is blue over spray on back of gas tank that needs to be washed off. The car is 99% rust and rot free. This car is solid. The quarter window seals are dry rotted has are the side glass outside seals. This is a very easy car to fix how you wanted it. The front seat has a couple of dirt spots and a 3 inch tear from when I drove it. The rear seat is has new and the rest of the interior is awesome for a 45 year old car. The headliner is perfect except for a couple of spider webs and fuzz from sitting in garage. I peeled back the trunk mat and the trunk is very well preserved. The tank looks new under the mat and logo and manufacturing date on it. All factory decals, markings and tags are in place including inspection tag on inside trunk lid. The owners manual and date of sale paper are still in glove box. It appears it has never been smoked in. The ash tray is clean and no burn marks on cig lighter. There is a yellow factory marking on the windshield in the upper right hand corner. I have never seen that before. The dash is perfect and the only thing wrong with controls is that the old guy put an oven knob on the left hand side of the radio. I had to laugh for when I first seen it I read Broil, Clean Oven. Hey it fits and the radio works well. I found the broke knob in the glove box along with a broke window crank knob that was replaced with a wooded spool. Under the car there is only surface rust. The pictures show how solid it is. The shocks I am sure are the original Ford units. To the mechanical type to relive his youth and turn some wrenches on something simple and easy to work on this is it. If you would want the car to be tuned up and serviced with the items I have listed I can run it through the resto shop here in Cookeville after it was purchased so you could drive home safely. If not, bring a trailer. This car and comparable restored Fords can be seen at www.midsr.com to help with your decision to purchase this unit. Nothing else there is for sale has they were past customers cars. This car is for sale locally and the auction can be shut down anytime. I have many pictures of car and if you email me through ebay or text me your email address I can send specific pictures of area you might want to see. You text me at 931-881-8351. You can also text me any?? or comment or go through eBay email. If you come here to check car out and think I misrepresented it i will return your deposit and keep car.

Here is a 1953 Packard Clipper that we custom built for a customer back in 2007. We are MidSouthern Restoration in Cookeville, TN. This customer had many cars restored and serviced here and after several years wants to thin down his car collection to make room for more. This car was built with comfort in mind and was built to be driven anywhere, anytime. The ultimate family classic cruiser with all the creature comforts and amenties of a modern car. The customer wanted a four door from the 50's with a new powertrain and suspension for drivability. A local "old car" car lot had this Packard Clipper for sale and it was the canidate for the project. The pictures posted here show the end result six years after it was complete. You can go to our web site www.midsr.com and check out the Clipper and story in 24 pictures start to finish if you look under Packard on the home page. You can see the level of restoration to build this car to better inform you of bidding. This Packard was a full frame off and the old car had minimal rust to repair. The new 2005 LSII that was scheduled to go into a 2005 SSR Chevrolet truck was bought new on a crate from a dealer who buys left overs off the production line. A new GM 4L60E 4 speed automatic was purchased to compliment the motor and mated together. The front of the chassis received a new modern Mustang II front suspension with power rack and pinion steering and large crossed drilled front rotors for the disc brakes. A Corvette style master cylinder was installed on firewall to handle the braking. The original Packard rear end with a perfect gear ratio was rebuilt and used and has proved to be very worthy. There are drum brakes on the rear. Electric fans were used in conjuction with an NOS revamped Packard radiator to keep the motor cool. The SSR engine cover had to be purchased seperately with a VIN from a SSR Chevy truck. Once the body was smoothed out and all Senior Packard Chrome was found and fit, the body was painted Wimbledon White and reassembled. The chrome parts are from 51,53, 54 and 55 Packards and much $$$ was spent on rechroming to show status. The original guages were sent out and proffesionally rebuilt and converted to electronic to match the motor. The original steering column was retained, but shortened to keep the original big wheel out of your face. The original shifter was modified to run the four speed automatic and a trophy shop cut a new indicator showing where the gears are. Vintage Air provided the two A/C units. There is one in the front and a trunk unit. You stay cool in this car. The rear one works well for hot night cruising when you roll down the electric windows and want to be cool. The power windows work with a touch up or down on the rare NOS Senior series car window cranks. The car radio was custom built to fit the original hole with no modifications. The Packard logo was silk screened on the face. The radio is a MP3 player with AM/FM stereo and a 10 CD changer in the trunk. The customer picked the old looking red fabric design and white leather type material to create a clean stunning interior. The front and rear seats are more comfortable than most home couches. The motor is drive by wire with 2006 GTO gas pedal and if the check engine light comes on, the computer can be scanned for problems. This has never occurred and car runs out sweet. There was a custom made Stainless Steel fuel tank fabricated that fits in the original place perfect with a high pressure electric pump inside. The body underside and inside body shell has had spray liner applied to aid in noise reduction. The car is whisper quiet untill the motor comes to life. A large quiet muffler was installed. The factory "Cats" are still on the car and it records 23 MPG. This car cost much to build and selling price will be a fraction of that. The odometer shows it was driven about 4050 miles. It placed first at the very first car show entered and has been in magazines from a Nashville TN show. This is a classic family cruiser with awesome power and looks. Fly in drive home. Only serious bidders only. You better have a higher ebay score of 5 to bid or will be dropped. You can call Al Morgan for more info 931-432-6377.
