GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING! 1969 Buick California GS VIN - 433279Z100456 NM Original 350 V8 Engine NM Original TH350 Transmission Power Steering AM Radio Protect-O-Plate Build Sheet ORIGINAL CA CAR! This 1969 Buick California GS was born on Sept. 9, 1968 in Fremont CA. It was then sent up to San Francisco to Waters Buick were it found itself it's first owner. The car stayed in the hands of that owner until the 90's were it was found in a back yard, having been left to the elements by the original owner. The second owner saw the potential of what the car was and proceeded to restore it close to original as he could afford. The car had no rust but it did have a couple of dents, the worst was the passenger quarter right behind the door and they were addressed without having to replace any panels. The original engine and transmission were rebuilt and the rest of the car brought up to driver quality. The current owner lives in Australia, he has had me working on it for the last year and he wanted the car to be restored to a higher level but has switched his interests. This is an early car with all the documentation, cars like this don't come up often so take the opportunity to own this special car.The engine is the original 350, it was rebuilt around 1997 and has about 30K miles since gone through. It was pulled out, new timing chain, oil pump and water pump installed and all new gaskets. It is currently running synthetic oil. The engine was detailed with all the correct paint and decals. The carburetor was rebuilt, new fuel pump and new foam installed on the ram air openings. It has new points/cap/rotor/wires, the distributor was cleaned, new advance unit installed and counterweights lubed. The radiator was replaced and a recovery tank was added, the original radiator is included with the car. The transmission had the fluid and filter changed, it was also resealed while the engine was out. The differential had new axle seals and pinion seal. All of the belts/hoses are new and the heater core was replaced. The brakes are all brand new, all hardware, shoes, drums, hoses, master cylinder and front wheel bearings (Timken) have been replaced. The exhaust system is a brand new dual setup with mild sounding turbo mufflers, basically the way it could've sounded new (dual exhaust wasn't an option). The gas tank was taken out to put in a new sender, it was cleaned and refinished along with replacing all fuel and vent hoses and it has a new cap. The front suspension is all brand new with Moog parts, all the ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm and bushings. It has a brand new set of Cooper Cobra tires in a 205/70R 14 which is equivalent to the original optional tire size and the rally wheels were cleaned and refinished. It has a new set of KYB Excel-G shocks all around, nice riding for these older muscle cars. I installed a set of 2" coil spring spacers in the rear to give it a little bit of a raked look but they can be removed and it sits perfectly level if you prefer. The interior looks good, it was done to be a driver so it doesn't have original style upholstery on the seats. The carpet and dash pad were replaced when it was restored originally. The rear package tray was replaced because it had holes cut for an aftermarket stereo so it was returned to original with insulation pad. The headliner has a couple of bad spots and a new one is included, I just didn't have time to install it for him. The door panels are in good shape and all the windows work as they should. The doors had the glass run seals replaced. The exterior of the car has all the original sheet metal, there was a couple of dents worked out and the bigger one was right behind the passenger door but it was able to be straightened. It took me a while but was able to find the wheel opening molding the previous owner was never able to find. There is and was no rust except for some surface rust on the floor in the trunk that cleaned up well. There were no holes and it was cleaned, treated with POR 15 and sprayed with the correct trunk finish. The original jack and tools were restored and it retained the original jack sleeve as well. I found an original rim and installed a good used tire for the spare. I replaced the trunk seal and got a jack instruction decal for the lid. The paint is about 15 years old now, it was painted a later GM color close to the original because he thought the original was too dull. There are a few chips in the paint but it's definitely looks good. it was an above average job but not high end. The bumpers were redone at the time of paint and shine well but there are a couple of blemishes from polishing over the years. The stainless trim is good all around and it does have typical spots in the pot metal. The headlight buckets were repainted on the inside areas, all the headlight adjusters were replaced, Halogen bulbs added for the outers and headlights aimed. The grill chrome is a little worn so it could be redone and the drip rail molding was not straightened very well when the did the top but it's not to hard to do that. The glass is all original, the rear glass was resealed when the did the top, the windshield has a few tiny pits in it and a mark from a wiper blade but it could be polished out. The rest of the glass is good. The car is really clean underneath and chassis is immaculate, I started to repaint the frame starting up front when that work was done so it wouldn't take much to finish it. The original exhaust was still on the car when the new exhaust was done, that alone will tell you how clean the car is underneath. All the lights work, the horn, heater fan, wipers and even the key buzzer but the radio doesn't.It is a pretty nice car but like most it has little things you could do to make it nicer, most of us are never done but rather just finished for now. If you want an excellent driver, I think this foots the bill. I've tried to describe it as accurately as possible and I get a little wordy but want to cover everything. If you have questions let me know. I have a ton of pictures of all different steps of the work done I will include with the car as well as some pics the previous owner had in the file showing the original engine being pulled for rebuild. There is a Buy-It-Now as you can see, you can make an offer if you want but there is more money tied up in it than the buy it now so don't be looking for a steal and Ram Air Buicks have started to climb in the last year or two. There would be interest in a partial trade (min. $10K cash + your car) but it would have to be a car in CA or AZ, I don't like rust. I welcome inspections, the car is here and can be viewed by appointment. The winning bidder will receive a California title, clear of any liens with the car. I can assist with arranging shipping to your location or make recommendations for shipping, of course it can be picked up in person after we have received funds. This car is located at my shop in Fresno, CA. Terms and Conditions Of The Auction The winning bidder agrees to provide a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction, the balance is due within 7 days. The balance is to be paid through a bank transfer. Please don't bid if your funds are not readily available, if you are applying for a loan please give the bank ample time for an inspection. The auction is to purchase a car, the winning bidder is entering a contract to purchase this car and not to look it over after the purchase, please arrange any inspections before auction end. Ask all questions necessary to make a decision before auction end. If we arrange transportation for the vehicle, open or enclosed, the buyer pays for the shipping. Offering my 1966 El Camino 396 A/T for sale. BIN price is for the vehicle completed (hopefully by Christmas), or you can purchase it as-is for $30K, or anywhere in between for a negotiated amount. Here are some details to get you started: This car was built in December of 1965 in Fremont California and was delivered to Willows, Ca when new. I purchased it from the second owner, also in Willows, in 1990. It was very stock and original and virtually rust-free, with 66K miles on it at that time. Driven to roughly 74K miles before being disassembled. As with many others, what basically started out as a “Let’s just paint the exterior” type of project turned into a body-off-frame effort. My intent was never for it to be flawless show quality trailer queen, more of a flashy cool car to cruise and enjoy, and it ended up coming out pretty nice overall. Here’s the basic OEM info on the car: 1966 Custom El Camino / 13680 KK / Artesian Turquoise 710 / Two-tone Fawn interior – bench seat L34 / 396/325 HP M35 / A/T – column shift - originally Powerglide (now Turbo 400) STD / 3.07 NON-posi 12 bolt rear diff N10 / dual exhaust A01 / Tinted glass - all N33 / Tilt Steering Column N40 / Power Steering J50 / Power Brakes K19 / A.I.R. (Air Injection Reactor = Ca smog) Z19 / Convenience group: lights, remote mirror (removed by second owner) U14 / instrument panel gauge package with Tachometer ??? / dash mounted bullet clock U63 / AM pushbutton radio G66 / Factory air shocks A39 / Deluxe seat belts V74 / Hazard warning switch Runs very well, but so far has only been driven around my property while sitting on a box. Engine was properly broken in, starts right up, choke works great, thermostat functions properly, etc. Let’s start with the bad news: Back in the 90’s I brought the born-with engine to a machine shop for a rebuild, along with several other big blocks I was working on at the time. I typically had blocks decked on my Hipo engine builds, and they accidentally decked this engine even though they weren’t supposed to. Because of that mistake, I pulled all my engine projects from their shop and never used them again. This project was then put on a back-burner for many years. So just for clarity, the block in the car is the original born-with engine block, but has no numbers on the pad due to being decked. I do have the codes from the POP, and maybe even a penciled impression of the original stamp somewhere in my files, but I’m not a fan of re-stamps and preferred to leave the pad blank instead. Most all the other components under the hood are born-with original as well: heads, intake manifold, carb, distributor, air cleaner base, complete smog system (including hoses), exhaust manifolds, all pulleys and brackets, alternator, starter motor, complete P/S assembly, master cylinder, fan shroud, etc. Non original under-hood items: water pump (generic replacement), radiator, power brake booster (I have the unrestored original), valve covers and air cleaner lid (I have the originals, need to be re-chromed), 7 blade fan and clutch assembly (I have the original 4 blade fan), front end wire harnesses (new repro). I replaced the original two-speed Powerglide with a three-speed Turbo 400 (which coincidentally was from a 1966 truck). The T400 was not offered in the Chevelle/El Camino until 1967, but I prefer them to the P/G. I acquired OEM 1967 column shift linkage assembly, kick-down switch and bracket assembly, rear trans housing and driveshaft yoke, etc. in order to make this a clean OEM looking and functioning installation. Original body panels, except RF fender replaced by 2nd owner, LF fender replaced by me during resto (original had a tough dent to straighten on the front body line/nose, and I had a much nicer straight OEM fender to use), and the front below-grill valance panel. Reproduction dual exhaust system with the correct staggered rear exhaust exits – it’s a bit too quiet for my taste. Wheels are OEM 1969 Camaro SS 14 X 7 YJ rallys with Tiger Paw radials. I will credit the buyer $500 if I can keep the four wheels and tires (in case you already own or prefer something else). This car was built with a large quantity of inspection paint marks all over the place. I duplicated a handful, but stopped short of making it a circus car. I have pictures of most of the OEM marks in case you wish to reproduce them yourself… What’s left to do: Install the new tinted windshield and rear glass (on hand), and trim (have all new repro trim, as well as the unrestored original trim). Finish the interior installation – glue down carpet, gas pedal, seat belts, kick panels (need to be painted first), sill plates, steam the new headliner to remove some small wrinkles, bench seat needs to be recovered and installed (I have the new upholstery and new seat foam), spare tire and jack assembly. A few troubleshooting tidbits I haven’t got to yet – slow air shock leak, very small drip from P/S pump (I think it’s the pump to housing O-ring), AM radio died (after installation, of course). Paint (blackout) the bottom of the hood, front end alignment, headlight alignment, verify speedo calibration at higher speeds. Paint the spare wheel and jack assembly, install a tire, etc. Touch up the paint on some suspension items. Finish restoring the original Ca black plates. Probably a few more minor items I am not currently thinking of…. A little car history: The POP shows Harold Hendrickson as the original owner, being first sold on Dec 30, 1965, in Willows, Ca. He was actually one of the guys who pioneered fighting fires with aircraft, by retrofitting an old WWII airplane with some water tanks. Way back when, I tried to track him down but he had already passed away so I gave up that effort. On a research whim earlier this year, I thought maybe he had some children I could find who might remember this car and would have some stories to tell. Tracked down his son, Gary (who’s now into his seventies) up in the same area. Turns out Gary was actually the original owner of this El Camino, and dad Harold’s name was most likely just used for financing purposes. It will be 50 years ago this December he first got the car, and I promised him pics of it when it was done. He doesn’t do computers, so I need to print some photos and send them to him. He’s a vintage aviation guy just like his dad, with many WWII planes on his roster, and quite a few old cars to boot. Still drives his 1971 Ranchero that he bought new…. Regrets: If I knew this car was going to turn out so nice, I would have had the body shop spend a little more time on straightening out the bottom of the bed and lower rear cab area. My plan was always to install a rubber bed mat and add a tonneau cover, but now wish they put the extra effort in those areas to make the car even nicer. Please email me with your questions, and we can go from there. I’m not interested in any trades, nor any offers for others to help me sell my car.

A few years ago I decided to restore my numbers matching Pepper Green 1970 GTO 455 PHS Documented Air Conditioned 2nd owner beauty. It was a no-brainer to give the car the attention she deserved. I was well aware from the Fremont, California factory where the car was built ( 20 minutes from my home) that it was a rare and well equipt Muscle Car. Not only did it come from the factory a nice car, it still retained all the correct pieces that makes it a true one of a kind investment. Things such as the original 455 H.O. Engine, TH400 Transmission and 12 Bolt Positraction rear end all the way down to the California only special edition Rochester Emissions Carburetor, distributor and water pump. The car also has a factory stereo ( one speaker in the front and one in the rear!) that was a stereo back then. Power Windows, Power Disk Brakes, Tilt Wheel, A/C, Vinyl Top, Rally Wheels In 2014 the car received a full disassembly, including a 12k rotisserie paint job while keeping all the factory sheetmetal. There was also several thousand wrapped up in powder coating the frame and suspension prior to installing the new bushings and associated parts . The rear end and transmission were completely rebuilt at local shops and the engine was rebuilt at a local Pontiac engine building specialist. These were just the major items done and does not account for numerous other tedious projects to get the car back in order. All and all there is in excess of 60k invested that should hopefully keep her good for another 40-50 years. During the project I had Ram Air parts installed for personal reasons as well as to help her breathe as well as possible. ( air cleaner with pull cable/functional factory hood scoops as well as larger ram air exhaust manifolds into Pypes stainless steel exhaust) The car starts right up, runs, drives, stops just like it should and has plenty of power to make the ride fun. Just like it should be. The car also has 15" wheels with radial tires, under the new NOS Pontiac " Pleasurizer" gas shocks. It makes for a much nicer ride. If you prefer the original 14" rally wheels, of course I did keep them for the purist. Over the years I have watched many cars for sale that claim to "nut and bolt restorations" fully rebuilt cars with price tags to match, only to find partial rebuilds and unhappy buyers. I had this car built with the intentions of keeping it for a lifetime. NOTHING on the car was untouched. This is an investment quality car. Even though it was built for personal satisfaction, it will easily bring home 1st place in local shows and most likely do very well wherever you take it. Now, The question I am sure I'm going to get first and foremost....WHY ARE YOU SELLING THIS CAR? I was diagnosed with a medical condition that is taking a lot out of me financially and physically...I am in the process of downsizing. Simple as that. The car has a clear title free of liens. I do possess the paper certificate of title.

Yes, that's right, this 'lil hauler has the legendary L79 under it hood, and a Muncie four-speed...And you thought you were just attracted to this one because of its good looks. This is really the holy grail El Camino. This hot '67 is only one of five L79 El Caminos currently listed in the National L79 Registry, and this one is truly the prize. It was sold new in Oregon and spent nearly 45 years in that area, with all of its original components. Then in 2012 this Chevy was given a complete frame off restoration from the ground up. That's why the bodywork looks straighter than even any Tuesday car that came out of the Fremont, California facility. On top of that is fresh paint that takes GM's iconic shade of Marina Blue, but gives it a much more modern and deep shine than the factory ever could. Even the truck bed shines with a look-at-me quality. This transformation back to factory fresh would not be compete without the chrome and stainless trim being in immaculate condition, on everything from the wide grille, to the ribbed rear end that can make a tailgate still look like a Chevelle. The final touch gives you a nice choice between large Torq Thrust style wheels, on modern low-profile tires, or original-style painted steel wheels with bright bow-tie hubcaps and Firestone Wide Oval redline tires this El Camino comes with both! The moment you open the door, you'll swear it's 1967, and that's for a very good reason. The complete restoration included putting the factory interior back to original spec. The black vinyl bench has the kind of cushioning that feels like no one else ever sat here before. The wood-rimmed sports steering wheel feels ready to be warn-in by a loving caretaker. Even the heat/defrost controls glide with ease. It has the kind of atmosphere that you know you'll love resting your right hand on the shifter and watching the needle rapidly climb on the extra wide speedometer. As we've mentioned before under the hood is the numbers-matching, ER code, L79 327 cubic-inch V8 motor. But it's not just the block that's correct in this exceptionally clean engine bay. That's the original Holley 3806 carburetor sitting on top of a Winters intake that feeds factory-spec 462 heads. Are you starting to get the picture on this one? This El Camino has one of those legendary factory underrated engines with an advertised 325 horsepower. It was a feared package even by the big blocks in the 60s, and today it's a sought-after collectable that offers a wicked exhaust rumble. It only gets better with the original Muncie four-speed manual transmission, backed up by a factory-installed 12-bolt Positraction rear end running a versatile 3.55 ratio. As expected with this level of restoration, the suspension has also been rebuilt correctly, including Saginaw steering gear, and rebuilt drum brakes with boxed control arms, and correct spiral shocks. Now you can be confident in driving this classic even with its pristine original appearance. In a cared for car like this, it should be no surprise that it comes with plenty of documentation such as the original warranty card, owner's manual, and plenty of restoration receipts. There is so much more to this amazing and rare El Camino that we don't have the space to write it all, but we'll be happy to take the time to tell you all about it. Give us a call now before someone else snags this El Camino of your dreams!! 1967 Chevrolet El Camino for Sale 1967 Chevrolet El Camino for Sale Stock # 3223-CHA Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] Tampa Showroom 4610 Pet Lane Lutz, FL 33559 Local/International: (813) 501-1630 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE 1. 1967 Chevy C20 3/4-TonNew Engine and New Transmission with Less than 100 miles So here's the story. Whether you need a reliable tow vehicle, or just something fun for daily driving, there’s other aspects of this satin charcoal grey and black ¾-ton 1967 Chevrolet C20 (VIN #CE247Z137028) that will blow your socks off. As I mentioned, it sports a brand new 350 cubic-inch, 375 horsepower small-block engine and a new TH-350 transmission with a new shift kit for optimum drivability. Best of all, this ‘67 features the desirable Posi-Traction rear end for maximum performance and it is a California-built truck from the Chevrolet plant in Fremont. You get the best of all worlds. Beautifully restored classic look with a brand new, powerful engine and transmission. The classic car experts at Family Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California recently went over this classic in great detail. They replaced the carrier bearing and tackled the entire braking system, including replacing the master cylinder, lines, shoes, springs, wheel cylinders. All fluids were also changed. Family also replaced the alternator, all under hood hoses and engine wiring, and installed a new billet HEI distributor with 10.5 wires. Under the hood, the Chevy 350 V8 features a new Edlebrock carburetor (with electric choke) and dress-up kit, new headers and new Flowmaster dual exhaust with a crossover. All engine and transmission mounts are new. The suspension has been lowered three inches up front and two inches in the rear and sports new chrome Incubus 20 x8-inch wheels all around wrapped in fresh Hankook tires. The interior is clean with new black carpeting, and a Grant GT steering wheel. The bench seat is comfortable and firm with in a neutral colored fabric. The steel door panels are in wonderful condition as are all the door and window handles. The body is straight with no dents, scrapes or signs of rust, and the two-tone exterior paint scheme is incredible, even the engine bay paint looks amazing. The bed has a fresh spray-on black liner to prevent metal fatigue from water or equipment. It drives great with ample passing power for those steep grades. Never overheats and rides smoothly. The new transmission allows for smooth shifts between gears. Keep in mind, this truck with this rear window is rare! Chevy only make it in 1967. You will definitely have a special ride when you take home this baby! Here’s a powerful two-wheel drive C20 that needs nothing, except to be driven and enjoyed, especially for those that love the great outdoors with friends and family. About Factory Correct Cars offered by BlueChip Motorcars BlueChip Motorcars periodically offers classic cars that may be listed as Factory Correct, or Numbers Matching. Because there are many opinions about the term(s) used to describe these types of listings, allow us to explain how BlueChip Motorcars comes to that assessment. As you may know, depending on the source, the term “matching numbers, or factory correct,” may mean many things to many people. Purists might define it as a car with every possible window crank, dash knob or even every nut and bolt is original to the car from the time it left the production line. Although some classic cars do exist in that rare condition, most do not. The majority of classic cars on the market were at some point in their ownership, restored or repaired with NOS parts (new old stock) or licensed reproduction parts. Whenever the information is available to us about the use of these parts, BlueChip Motorcars will gladly pass it along to the potential buyer. BlueChip Motorcars uses the term Factory Correct or Numbers Matching only to distinguish a vehicle where the engine casting code corresponds with the VIN and Cowl Tag code. If these codes tell the same story about the car in question, BlueChip Motorcars then considers it to be a Factory Correct or Numbers Matching vehicle. However, unless otherwise stated, the transmission, rear end, and transmission may or may not be original to the car. BlueChip Motorcars welcomes all potential buyers to verify all the information with a qualified expert. We would be happy to email you all the numbers that are obtainable on any vehicle where the term Factory Correct or Matching Numbers is used.

First and foremost, they want something that's super cool. Secondly, they want something that's reliable. And last but not least, they want something that doesn't require a second job to finance. Fortunately, the gearheads at RK Motors Charlotte pride themselves on specializing in first-rate classics of all kinds. And they always have cars, like this awesome 1970 Buick GS455, that are a perfect fit for anyone. Sporting an original 455, an original Turbo-Hydramatic 400 and fantastic white on green aesthetics, this sublime drop-top is certainly some of the coolest metal to ever roll out of Detroit. Thanks to a high quality restoration, the car can be driven and enjoyed for years without worry. And as a fully documented, numbers-matching classic that's priced at only $80K, it's a solid deal on some impressive muscle! BODYWORK/TRIM Decked in retro Seamist Green single-stage, this awesome Buick rolled off GM's Fremont, California assembly line during the first week of March, 1969 and headed straight for Hawaii. After 37 years serving just two owners, the car was shipped back to the mainland in need of minor repair. And, when it fell into the hands of a third owner, it became the focal point of a detailed, 5-year restoration that wrapped in the summer of 2014. During that thorough reboot, straight and solid sheetmetal was worked to better-than-new condition. Fresh Seamist Green 2-stage was topped with correct White vinyl. And presently, this GS rolls as a rare and unique classic that's exactly the kind of all-business, no-nonsense muscle car Buick always intended it to be. By 1970, Buick had pretty much perfected its top dog performance offerings both mechanically and aesthetically. At the front of the car, a clean, silver grille hangs a bold GS emblem between a re-chromed bumper, chrome-trimmed headlights and clear parking lamps. Behind that grille, a scooped hood hides correctly recessed wipers at the base of factory tint glass and original stainless trim. At the sides of that hood, traditional door handles and color-keyed sport mirrors perfectly complement fresh wheel frames, red-trimmed rocker guards and fresh GS ornamentation. And at the back of the car, a second re-chromed bumper centers a classy "BUICK" script between clear tail lamps, correct deck trim and a fourth "GS" emblem. ENGINE While the exterior of this slick A-Body does an excellent job of upholding GM Design's world-class visual aesthetics, the engine compartment is where purists REALLY start to take notice. And for good reason too, because the burly, 455 cubic inch V8 that's bolted between the car's freshly detailed fenders is the kind of killer powerhouse that makes people either put up or shut up. Turn the key and a big Quadrajet carburetor mixes air from a black, dual-snorkel cleaner with fuel that's supplied by carefully bent stainless, and shoves it into a correct, cast iron intake. That intake feeds cast iron heads, which ride between a familiar points distributor and high quality Super Max plug wires. Spent gases are jetted through correct, cast iron manifolds, which ride under traditional, stamped steel valve covers. And a large radiator, which circulates water around an old school Frigidaire AC compressor via pliable hoses and reproduction tower clamps, provides cooling. The bright red block looks fantastic, framed in Satin Black fenders and dressed in an array of correct decals. Well-planned details, like an authentic Delco Moraine brake booster, a Saginaw steering box and a high quality Delco battery topper, prove someone spent a lot of time executing this Buick's top-notch restoration. And naturally, the monster mill displays a correct 1231738 casting number and matching partial VIN. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Under this Buick, it's just as the factory planned, except with much more precision and, subsequently, much more appeal. An original, "BA" branded Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed sends power to a familiar 10-bolt that's equipped with mild, 3.08 gears. Holding that killer drivetrain off the ground is a familiar double A-arm front and 4-link rear suspension that's equipped with factory power steering. During restoration, power-assisted drums were completely rebuilt to factory specifications. On the outside of those brakes, chrome Magnum 500s twist 245/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As in front of 255/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As. The aforementioned manifolds dump spent gases in to aluminized pipes, which follow an X-shaped crossover with throaty Pypes Street Pro mufflers. The car's frame, free of any major damage, is painted black to match its solid, undercoated floors. And, in keeping with the 455 up top, much attention has been paid to making sure everything under this classic is clean, mean and ready to go! INTERIOR Pop the sculpted doors and you'll find a correct code 175 Ivory interior that's still restoration-fresh in virtually every way. Comfy seats and fade-free door panels continue the placid feeling of the soothing Seamist Green exterior. In front of the car's rare, power-adjustable front bench, an original dash frames a vintage Sonomatic radio, controls for Harrison air conditioning and crystal clear telemetry. At the base of that dash, heavy duty, shield-branded floor mats protect like-new carpet. In front of the driver, a cool Buick steering wheel laps a tilting column that's fitted with a simple shifter. Behind the passengers, a bright convertible cowl snaps tight over a lighted trunk that's complete with a fresh mat, a correct jack, a full-size spare tire and a new decklid decal. And factory power windows join a power-operated roof in welcoming cool spring mornings and crisp fall evenings. HISTORICAL INFORMATION With this unique GS, authenticity is inborn. Here's a breakdown of the car's specially coded VIN and original cowl tag. Its killer V8 will cruise effortlessly at will, and its slick body, classy interior and tough transmission are desirable attributes that set it apart from run-of-the-mill A-Bodies. As a rule, well-done Buick muscle cars usually don't inhabit our showroom for very long. And when they're built and priced like this, it's easy to see why! This vehicle is a salvage vehicle, it is located in Fremont California by Mercury insurance company where the images were taken on this particular vehicle. You can pay with an official check at the facility at the same time vehicle needs to be paid within 2 business days from time of purchase. This vehicle sustained damage to the front, minimal damage to those of you whom have repaired vehicles before. As you can see both chassis rails are straight and fenders are both good on the vehicle. Although the air bags have deployed, vehicle is a beauty it drives and tracks straight in the holding facility, the suspension is fully in tact, and has not been damage in any way what so ever. Reasonable offers will be considered, by reallistic bidders, bid with confidence our auctions are completely transparent. IntroductionThe 2010 Maserati GranTurismo is one of those rare cars that, once seen, is hard to forget. It has an elusive and intoxicating mix of aggression and grace. The fluid lines of the sheet metal seem to be stretched tight over a muscular form, with curves in all the right places. Then there's the sound -- a glorious exhaust note that could have inspired the likes of Verdi, Mozart and Puccini.Beauty is also found within, with a sportingly opulent cabin and the mechanicals to both excite and comfort. The GranTurismo's 4.2- or 4.7-liter engines are both silky smooth when driven conservatively, and exhilarating when pushed into their higher reaches. Switching from Normal to Sport mode further enhances the experience, quickening gearchanges and throttle response while also opening up the exhaust baffles. As the name suggests, the GranTurismo is a touring car, not an out-and-out exotic sports car. There's certainly more than enough power and handling to get the blood racing, though the Maserati is outperformed by several competitors -- but not outclassed. As a GT car, it does just as is should by balancing thrilling athleticism with long-distance comfort. In terms of price, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Audi R8 represent the closest competitors with the added benefit of higher performance. The BMW M6 is also quicker while also costing less, and the stalwart Porsche 911 is similarly worthy of consideration. The Jaguar XKR and Mercedes CL550 will also save you some cash with a healthy dose of luxurious comfort. When it comes to a beautiful rolling sculpture that hits all of the GT bases, though, it's hard to overlook -- or forget -- the Maserati GranTurismo.Body Styles, Trim Levels, and OptionsThe 2010 Maserati GranTurismo is a four-passenger coupe that is offered in two trim levels: base and S Automatic. A new convertible version is also available, and is covered in a separate review. The base GranTurismo features 19-inch alloy wheels; adaptive xenon headlights with washers; foglights; power-folding and heated sideview mirrors; automatic wipers; Brembo brakes; an electronically adjustable "Skyhook" suspension; rear parking sensors; auto-dimming mirrors; dual-zone automatic climate control; leather upholstery; heated front seats; driver seat memory; wood interior trim; voice-activated navigation; Bluetooth; and an 11-speaker Bose surround-sound system with a CD player, satellite radio, digital music storage, iPod integration and auxiliary/USB input jacks. The GranTurismo S Automatic includes all of the above, plus a more powerful engine, an automated manual transmission, larger brakes, a sport exhaust, 20-inch wheels, and unique front and rear spoilers. Additionally, the GranTurismo S can be optioned with a non-adjustable sport suspension and aluminum pedals.Options on either GranTurismo trim include front parking sensors, two-tone interior colors, an Alcantara headliner and perforated leather seats. Customers looking for a personalized approach may select from several interior colors, stitching, wheel styles and brake caliper finishes. Furthermore, buyers can specify any exterior color they desire, for a price and wait, of course.Powertrains and PerformanceThe base 2010 Maserati GranTurismo is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 that produces 405 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque. The only available transmission is a six-speed automatic that sends power to the rear wheels. The GranTurismo S Automatic receives a 4.7-liter V8 that bumps output to 433 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque.Maserati estimates acceleration from zero to 60 mph at 5.1 seconds for the base GranTurismo and 4.9 seconds for the S Automatic. EPA-estimated fuel economy is identical for both models, at 13 mpg city/20 mpg highway and 15 mpg in combined driving.SafetyStandard safety features for the GranTurismo lineup include antilock brakes with brake assist, automatic hill hold, stability control, traction control, front-seat side airbags and side curtain airbags.Interior Design and Special FeaturesThe 2010 Maserati GranTurismo's interior is tastefully appointed with the finest materials and craftsmanship money can buy. The cabin is elegantly luxurious without appearing stodgy, with just a hint of sports car influence. Leather graces almost every surface and can be ordered in a wide array of colors. Controls are well-placed and simple in operation.Front-seat comfort is excellent, with well-bolstered seats and ample cushioning for long-distance comfort. Unlike other cars in this class, the GranTurismo also boasts comfortable rear seats for medium-sized adults. Unfortunately, finding luggage space for four adults will prove difficult, as the trunk can only accommodate up to 9.2 cubic feet -- well short of competing coupes.Driving ImpressionsThe 2010 Maserati GranTurismo artfully balances a luxurious ride with sporting athleticism. The suspension is compliant enough to absorb most road imperfections with ease without feeling overly soft or wallowy. The GranTurismo's 49/51 front/rear weight distribution allows for added entertainment through curves, while the suspension keeps the body flat when cornering. For drivers who desire even more sports car dynamics, the Sport mode revises gearshift points, sharpens throttle response and stiffens up the suspension. This mode also opens up a baffle in the exhaust for added performance and sweetens the engine's already glorious soundtrack. On the downside, the steering feel is on the light side and could use a bit more feedback at higher speedSpecifications LENGTH 16ft 0.2inWIDTH 6ft 3.4inHEIGHT 4ft 5.3inBody style illustration may not reflect the actual shape of this vehicle.Exterior Measurements WIDTH6 ft. 3.4 in. We believe this car has had 4 owners since new. Purchased from the original owner in the late 1980's by Reggie Jackson when it had around 18,000 miles. Reggie had the car resprayed by George Thomas (Mariposa Body) in the original color of Turbine bronze over a very clean body in the early 1990's. The car was then sold to Gil Garcia who kept the car until being acquired by the current owner about 10 years ago. The paint has held up very well with only a few little nicks from use and the chrome and trim still look great. All glass is nice. Interior is original with the exception of the carpet. Original seat foam was replaced with a foam kit from Legendary Auto Interiors and then the original factory vinyl seat covers were reinstalled. Auxiliary gauges were installed to keep tabs on the Hemi. Dealer installed AM/FM radio works. Factory tachometer and dash gauges still work. Interior is in very nice presentable condition.Instead of freshening up the original engine, the current owner decided to go with a 472 ci short block built by Dave Timmons from Mopar Engines West in Fremont, Ca. The upper end (heads, intake, etc.) are the original components. The carburetors are correct numbered 1967 units. MSD distributor with hidden box. TTI headers and custom TCI dual exhaust. The engine runs and sounds incredible and runs very well on pump gas. The engine currently has under 2,000 miles on it. The original 727 Torqueflite was replaced with a TCI Super Streetfighter Torqueflite good to 750hp. The transmission has approx. 100 miles on it. The original radiator was recently redone. Included with the purchase is the original shortblock, distributor, exhaust manifolds and transmission. The suspension is stock and has recently had the upper and lower control arms bushings replaced and the ride enhanced with Edelbrock IAS shocks. The rear is the original 8.75" Sure grip unit with 3.23:1 gears. Original front calipers have recently been rebuilt. Running 14x6 Magnum 500 road wheels as originally equipped with Redline radial tires. This GTX has been built to be a great driver. Original parts have been set aside to preserve them. Drives incredible. Runs and sounds awesome. Torque on demand. Excellent investment that can actually be driven.Features & Options AM/FM Stereo Automatic Transmission Chrome Wheels Coolant Temp. Excellent investment that can actually be driven. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied.
