Low-income residents living in an environmentally disadvantaged area and purchasing one of the cleanest vehicles available would receive the highest incentive amount. “Our clean air progress relies on increasing the number of cleaner vehicles,” said William A. Burke, Ed.D., chair of the SCAQMD Board. “We hope these incentives will encourage residents to make the switch to lower-emission vehicles.” Replace Your Ride, formally known as the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Program pilot program, will offer residents incentives ranging from $2,500 up to $4,500, depending on income level and type of vehicle purchased. Residents living in disadvantaged communities could be eligible for up to $2,500 for the purchase of a conventional hybrid vehicle or up to an additional $5,000 for the purchase of a plug-in hybrid or zero-emission vehicle that is eight years old or newer when purchased. Disadvantaged communities are defined by the state Air Resources Board as those most burdened by multiple sources of pollution as well as socio-economic factors such as low-income. Residents who choose to scrap their vehicle but not replace it may be eligible for $2,500 to $4,500 in public transit passes or car sharing vouchers depending on their income level. The catch is that you need to prove: you live in the SCAQMD area of Southern California, income more or less you figure how many people in your household documented on your tax return then average your tax return adjusted gross income. The government has a chart they use to determine if you qualify for the full $9500 or lesser amount. It scales something like: Family of 4 under $100k, Family of 3 under $75k, Family of 2 or couple Under 50k or $25k individual. And you have to turn in a currently registered car, truck, SUV, which will be shredded & Crushed in exchange for the $9500. This is my 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider but it could be yours! One of the most affordable Ferraris and will not be mistaken for anything other than a Ferrari. Although some non-car folks might mistake it for a Testarossa at least even they recognize it as a Ferrari and true piece of art. If you’re looking at other Ferrari’s you’re either looking for something newer with a minimum of $20K extra to burn or something older with designs originating in the late 1970’s. Many might look at comparably priced cars like an Aston Martin or Maserati but those simply are not as fun or turn heads like this car (= less of a smile for you L). Car is really low looking with top down and rear is very wide and hard to appreciate from looking at PICs only. This Spider convertible is done up in classic red on black leather. I use the car nearly every week in the summer (dry days only) here in the North East and have never had a problem with it, very reliable compared to earlier cars. Miles on the car are not those or a garage queen with dried up seals or a higher miles highway car. I have a hard time judging “out of 10” quality but I can tell you there are no dings, few chips, and interior is in great shape. Just look at many cars and leather is pulling from the doors where it is bonded and curves in, not here. A couple wheels have a little curb rash on the edge. Inside the front bonnet and in the engine bay are clean. No stick parts like door handles. Top is in great shape and comes with a quick on and off cover when parking in the sun. Includes tool kit, tools, books, and many records. There are plenty of PICs just look at them in detail. I recently put on new rear tires (recommended / stock brand size). Car runs with Mobil 1 full synthetic and Red Line gear lube. Clutch does not slip (changes by previous owner) & major 30K service was done at 26K. Car runs, drives, and sounds great. Car is very stiff for a convertible and handles like a dream being the last without power steering (handles like a go-cart). Clean title, no accidents, and dry. Not much more I can say without blathering on. Sometime circa 1990 the vehicle began to perform poorly backfiring and having starting and driving issues. The car was stored and not driven when it was offered for sale by De Pedroso. This Ferrari was then sold and purchased by Karam Automotive, Inc., of 104 North Patton Street, West Chester, PA 19380 and then sent to Algar Ferrari of Rosemont, PA 19010 on September 8th, 1998. At the time of purchase and this service, this Ferrari had covered 20,807 miles from new.Upon completion of these services, this Ferrari was offered for public sale. In February of 1999, David Romer of 5565Canoga Avenue, No. 304, Woodland Hills, CA 91367 requested the services of noted Ferrari Restorer, Mike Regalia to source and located a suitable V12, front engined Ferrari to supplement a 1985 308 GTS Quatrovalve that Mr. Regalia had previously sourced for him. On March 31st, 1999, David Romer and his brother, Richard Romer agreed to purchase this Ferrari through Mike Regalia’s services for a price of $58,000. The vehicle was to be delivered to Mr. Regalia’s home in Sun Valley, California where it would receive a full bare-metal repaint and extensive restoration and repair work over the next ten months. The car was then over the next 14 years carefully cared for and serviced by the Romer Brothers without consideration for time or expense until their eventual sale in the Summer of 2014 to a private collector in Northern California. After buying that car I quickly figured out that the front engine V12’s were where I wanted to be. In 1999 Mike was running the restoration department of the Nethercutt Museum here in Sylmar Ca. I was introduced to him through Robert Nethercutt, a flying friend of mine. The car was Located back east. We bought it the car and had it shipped directly to Mike’s home and shop in Sun Valley for a bare metal repaint and mechanical sorting prior to me taking possession. If you are not familiar with Mike Regalia, He is a very well respected Ferrari Restorer probably best known for his work and Sale of the Steve McQueen 250GTL (Lusso)I have a binder with the photos of the The color that we painted the car was the same color that the factory painted it when new. The interior of the car is original black leather / black carpet. I re-dyed the front seats this year and the mouse fur was replaced in 99 with the correct material. I have the factory build sheet that is included in the photo set that shows the original colors and options. The motor was strong when we bought the car. We pulled the engine compartment down to the heads and rebuilt everything else. Today the car shows 49, XXX original miles. I believe that my brother Richard and I are the 3rd owners of the car.Note that 15189 has always been in good This car is not a Franken-C/4 that somebody has dolled up for sale at auction. The car is a matching numbers car that was unmolested, 100% intact and correct when I bought it. When Mike took the paint off, the original paint by the way. The only signs of damage was a repair on the front right headlight bucket. Everything that belongs in a C/4 is in place and is correct all the way down to the Cheney hose clamps.Recently, I have done some significant work on In the last 2 years, the suspension has been rebuilt and I changed the rear load levelers out for Koni coil overs. I still have the original load Levelers. In the last year I have rebuilt the transmission and the rear end. The starter motor has been replaced, the alternator has been rebuilt. The relay / fuse block has been removed, cleaned and re-grounded. The water pump with both the water and oil seals have been replaced. The Becker Mexico radio was serviced last year and plays correctly. The A/C was serviced this summer and it blows cold. The cars sits on new Michelin XWX tires. Maybe 2000 miles on them now. The car is reluctantly for sale. It is jointly owned by me and my brother Richard. The car is at his house. His wife is a little tired of it taking up ½ of the garage and he doesn’t really drive it. I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. When I found the one D&M had for sale I knew I wanted the car because it was 2010 grabber blue with red stripe ( never seen the combo before ) I always said I would never buy a car sight unseen but everything just felt right. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. Deposit The winning bidder is required to submit a $500 NON- REFUNDABLE deposit which is due immediately following the close of the auction. Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 1968 build (titled 1969) 35,900 genuine miles, 1 owner!!In absolutely stunning original condition This is a totally original Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, finished in desirable Mason's black with Dove grey (blue-grey) Connolly hide leather interior. The coach work waist-rails and hubcap beauty rings are finished in hand-painted lines of fine silver. This is an amazing COMPLETELY ORIGINAL condition example with a breathtaking 35,900 miles from only 1 owner from new. In the last 15 years, the car sat in a museum for public display as a pristine example of the Rolls-Royce marque. This is an entirely unmolested and original example that is difficult to describe in words. Never restored and simply cosseted its whole life. Completely original factory paint, 100% original interior without so much as even a touch up on the seats or other leather finishes, the wood's original French polishing lacquer is in perfect condition, carpets like new and a headliner that looks like it was installed yesterday - but indeed, also original. As importantly, it has been maintained meticulously. Although rarely driven, the car was kept in the museum under the eye of a Rolls-Royce caretaker who regularly maintained the car. When it arrived to us, it fired up immediately and purred on our maiden test drive. An original North American car that was never driven in inclement weather (and it shows), always climate control stored. The car today, is in exemplary condition. Very straight, very clean, very true in all characteristics Rolls-Royce. The paint is deep in lustre and shine and is entirely consistent. There has never been a repair or spray touch-up and to the purist, this is the Holy Grail. Original paint on a an early Silver Shadow is almost an impossible find and this one is simply stunning. The underside is pristinely clean and the word "rust" is simply foreign. The interior remains virtually perfect and is an outstanding feature on this 4 door saloon. All the wood is completely and 100% original and is flawless. There is not even the slightest sign of hair-line cracking in the lacquer. Simply amazing and unbelievable! The window surrounds, carpet and roof-lining, are in immaculate condition. The Connolly hide leather is stunning. Never been redyed and not so much as even a touch-up, showing its original Connolly hide signature finish. Connolly leather has a 2-tone effect with a darker dressing in the depths of the grain. If you are familiar with Cognac leather in early Mercedes, you will understand this description, but with the Rolls-Royce leather, the effect being more subtle. Any form of redying, loses this burnished grain effect. This Shadow shows it off well with just the right amount of patina to look like, and feel like, a high-end Chesterfield couch. So inviting you want to just sit in it for no reason. This is an example that looks like it is only a few years old. Certainly not 45! Mechanically the car demonstrates all the hallmarks of a well maintained example. Technically superb with all brakes/hydraulics working well. Suspension heights are correct with even the front system still connected (back in the 70's Rolls-Royce agents were directed by Crewe to disconnect the front height control because it was considered redundant). The car drives incredibly smooth, without any bumps, rattles or knocks. It truly glides and “floats” like the Shadows of this era were designed and built to do. Testament of its well maintained history is the cleanliness under the hood. Not detailed but appropriately maintained. The trunk presents just as well without so much as mark in the carpet. All external bright-work is well above standard and lights and lenses like new. Normally, the rear quarter bumpers rust out where the brackets are internally welded - not even a pit!
