I'm selling my beautiful 1962 CJ5, includes dealer installed 8000lb winch and Meyer hard top. This has been in my family since day one. Originally bought in Oakland California by my grandfather. That is the original registration on the steering column from 1962! All original except for generator has been swapped out for an alternator. Runs good and no exhaust smoke. I also have all 5 original rims with tires. New brakes, drums and wheel cylinders. Hard to find a jeep this old that hasn't been messed with or modified for this price! The car has never been tracked and has zero performance modifications, with the only exception to factory spec coming in the form of an Alpine stereo. This particular example wears the color combination that later went on to be known as Silver Rose - Zermatt Metallic paint LY7Y (renamed Siberrosa LM3Z) and what we believe is an interior unique to the model year in this vehicle - Burgundy leather, coded LY7Y in the trunk sticker.LX on the same sticker denotes the luxury pack, which includes power windows and seats, removable sunroof and steering wheel upgrade.Body is straight showing no sign of accident or repair. Paint is good except where the clearcoat is failing on the roof. Purchased new in Oakland. Just over 70k ORIGINAL MILES. We have the Original window sticker, license plates with dealer trim ring, Original Keys, Original Build sheet is still under the seat. The paint is original, as is the interior, and the motor and all significant components. Optioned with Air Conditioning, CST package, Power Steering, Power Brakes (NON DISC), tool box, tinted windows, Posi-Tratction rear, Heavy duty suspension front and rear. Also has two fuel tanks. Vin tag and sticker are intact as is the option sheet in the glovebox. The AC works! Needs a charge but does blow coldish. Paint is orignal but showing wear. I wouldn't paint it but you might want to. Will need tires and that's about it. Some minor rust in lower front rockers/door sill but otherwise there is no rust. The body does not have a dig on it! Super straight all around. Motor is the original 350ci. Trans is a TH350 Auto. A rare opportunity to own a very tidy example of Honda's kei class car, originally sold in Japan to meet displacement requirements under the vehicle tax codes of the day. Powered by an air-cooled two cylinder 600CC (36CI) engine mated to a four speed manual transmission, this adorably cute car has great pep for the city. Weighing just 1,300LB and measuring 123 inches, the Z600 is the perfect car for having style in the city. Freeway travel is not an issue if you're happy in the right lanes, with the Z having a top speed of about 65MPH. This particular example has been treated to an exacting restoration by the second owner and has been thoroughly gone through to be both mechanically excellent and aesthetically very pleasing. Elite Performance, Northern California's premier Z specialist, decided the engine did not require a full rebuild, instead opting to adjust the valves, breaker points, recap the spark plugs, transmission gaskets, instal a custom shut mounts, axel seals, ignition timing adjustment, all suspension components and running gear replaced and a custom X-formation Flowmaster twin pipe stainless exhaust system. This is consistent with the original owner's claim that the 18,214 mileage is original. Instruments were upgraded to include temperature, volts and oil pressure. All replaced hardware in stainless. Brakes completely gone through with new hardware. Car sits on very nice Minilite mags with under 500 miles on new rubber. The car was completely stripped down and repined inside and out by Sunny Auto Body. This included all chrome and brightwork being reconditioned or replaced and is all in excellent condition. Powered by an air-cooled two cylinder 600CC (36CI) engine mated to a four speed manual transmission, this adorably cute car has great pep for the city. Weighing just 1,300LB and measuring 123 inches, the Z600 is the perfect car for having style in the city. Freeway travel is not an issue if you're happy in the right lanes, with the Z having a top speed of about 65MPH. This particular example has been treated to an exacting restoration by the second owner and has been thoroughly gone through to be both mechanically excellent and aesthetically very pleasing. Elite Performance, Northern California's premier Z specialist, decided the engine did not require a full rebuild, instead opting to adjust the valves, breaker points, recap the spark plugs, transmission gaskets, instal a custom shut mounts, axel seals, ignition timing adjustment, all suspension components and running gear replaced and a custom X-formation Flowmaster twin pipe stainless exhaust system. This is consistent with the original owner's claim that the 18,214 mileage is original. Instruments were upgraded to include temperature, volts and oil pressure. All replaced hardware in stainless. Having had the same owner for the last 24 years, this California original car has seen a loving ongoing restoration to high quality and reliable driver status. All restoration work is thoroughly documented and all work was carried out by the best British car shops in the Bay Area. Further, this XK150 is one of what are believed to be under 20 to leave the plant with a Webasto roof installed. The current owner called the plant in Coventry and spoke with the former custodian of recods who confirmed this. Sadly, she has now passed and many of the documents were lost or destroyed. The top functions perfectly and is visually flawless, having been recently replaced. The two-tone paintwork also carries a rather interesting story. This car is one of a shipment that experienced a rough crossing of the Atlantic en route to the distributor in New York and as such, suffered minor paint damage. This was fixed by Jaguar US prior to sale. The quality and finish of the paint and brightwork is to a very high standard. The car has never seen rain, something that is apparent upon inspection. The replacement engine was completely rebuilt and installed mated to the fantastic 700R4 four-speed overdrive automatic transmission. The car retains its original differential. Electrical system was completely gone through, with much of the Lucas factory components being replaced with far superior units. All Lucas wiring was removed and replaced too at that time. The car was fitted with a center brake light and seat belts in order to pass CA inspection requirements in 1981. Rock solid power windows were installed at this time, the switches using the original winders. Very cool. The brakes and suspension was also recently serviced. Wire wheels are in pristine condition on almost new rubber and a full size wire spare is included in the boot, along with jack, tool kit and a wooden cowl and mallet. This car was specifically built for reliability and comfort in keeping with a highly original look. ColorBlackTitleClearThis stunning 1961 Jaguar XK150 factory Webasto is proudly offered for sale at Classic Cars West in Oakland CA. Having had the same owner for the last 24 years, this California original car has seen a loving ongoing restoration to high quality and reliable driver status. All restoration work is thoroughly documented and all work was carried out by the best British car shops in the Bay Area. Further, this XK150 is one of what are believed to be under 20 to leave the plant with a Webasto roof installed. The current owner called the plant in Coventry and spoke with the former custodian of recods who confirmed this. Sadly, she has now passed and many of the documents were lost or destroyed. The top functions perfectly and is visually flawless, having been recently replaced. The two-tone paintwork also carries a rather interesting story. This car is one of a shipment that experienced a rough crossing of the Atlantic en route to the distributor in New York and as such, suffered minor paint damage. This was fixed by Jaguar US prior to sale. The quality and finish of the paint and brightwork is to a very high standard. The car has never seen rain, something that is apparent upon inspection. The replacement engine was completely rebuilt and installed mated to the fantastic 700R4 four-speed overdrive automatic transmission. The car retains its original differential. Electrical system was completely gone through, with much of the Lucas factory components being replaced with far superior units. All Lucas wiring was removed and replaced too at that time. The car was fitted with a center brake light and seat belts in order to pass CA inspection requirements in 1981. Rock solid power windows were installed at this time, the switches using the original winders. Very cool. The brakes and suspension was also recently serviced. Wire wheels are in pristine condition on almost new rubber and a full size wire spare is included in the boot, along with jack, tool kit and a wooden cowl and mallet. This car was specifically built for reliability and comfort in keeping with a highly original look. If you have no feedback please contact me before bidding or your bid will be canceled!!
