Hey guys/gals - Located in Bakersfield California! Here is a 2002 Corvette Z06 for sale that has been babied from day one. Garaged every night, and I personally hand washed/wax on a regular basis. Paint is as close to perfect as I can imagine, which includes no rock chips or any scratches. I had the front bumper wrapped in high quality paint protection film which is invisible! Maintained with synthetic oil every 3,0000-4,000 miles (Probably overkill, I know!). The Mod Red interior is in great shape, with little signs of wear throughout. Within the last couple thousand miles I have put on Yokomaha AD08r’s all around, which has thoroughly impressed me. Heads Up Display works great and A/C Blows cold. The car is fast, well over 500 to the crank. A few things to take note of: A couple codes are thrown due to O2 sensors not fitted to LG long tubes. Nothing that hinders performance since it’s been tuned correctly. The right headlight gear has a few hiccups, $20-30 part which I have been putting off although manual turn knob works without issue and lastly the right door module has a possible loose wire which has only given me a couple problems here and there in the last 6 months. Truly nothing significant. The Z is a fine example of a clean car with some aftermarket zip. I love the car; however, it looks like I’ll need to downsize from two vehicles back to one. It’s great on road trips, as its quiet in the cabin with the windows rolled up and achieves approximately 26MPG on the highway. All in all, this would be a keeper if I had the resources available. I myself am a picky buyer, and wanted a car that was clean, reliable, and not over the top that was not beat on. This Z is driven maybe 2 or 3 times a week for weekend cruises through the mountains or in town. It has not seen a drag strip, race track or even street races for that matter. The engine runs great, the brakes are good for a Model A, I think the car drives good, I just put 4 new Firestone tires on, Its just a nice Model A with a cured restoration. HISTORY: I bought the car from a guy a couple of town from me. He moved here from the Bakersfield, California area. He had a friend that owned the Model A that lived near him in California. When the friend got so old that he didn't drive the car anymore the guy that lives here bought it. He was going to make a Street Rod out of it, but decided it would be a shame to destore a nice car. He bought it here earlier this year. Lots of pictures below, just scroll down to see them all. TITLE: The title is Tennessee and says previous state of registration California. MILES: 69598 reading, but who really knows. WHO RESTORED THE CAR? I am a restorer, but did not restore this one. It was restored by someone in California. I am retired, but buy cars for resell, I do polish them, repair and inspect things. HOW IS THE ENGINE? I think it runs good, it starts good and has no rattles or knocks other than normal Model A noises. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its good, Model A Ford transmission did not have synconized first gear and the other gears don't have good ones. This transmission good, its just the way they were built. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good for Model A, they are manual brakes. The parking brake works. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I think it drives good for a 1930 Model A, they are not power steering.. HOW IS THE PAINT? It has a real good shine, I buffed it with a polish cleaner and it looks new, but its not. It does have several touched up chips. No dings or dents. HOW IS THE TOP? It real good, one conere is up a little. HOW IS THE RUNNING BOARDS? The rubber is good. CAR IS THE ORIGINAL 6 VOLTS, it has a new battery, new cutout relay and new amp meter. HOW IS THE GLASS? It is real good, no cracks, no milky places, the windshield is clear. From one angle my pictures make the glass look cloudy, it is not, its water spots on the glass, look at other pictures. REAR GLASS is the optioned roll down type. It does have some fuzz from the upholstery at the edge, I will trim it off. WINDSHIELD: Its folds out, I guess thats you air condisioning. HOW IS THE CHROME? Its all nice. HOW ARE THE TIRES? At a cost of $800 I just put 4 new Firestone wide whites on. I put new tubes and rim liners on. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good, the worst thing I see is a punched hole above the drivers head. DOES THE CAR LEAK? Model A Fords did not have rear main oil seals, people didnot worry about a drop on the dirt floor. WIPERS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! LIGHTS were missing some 6 volt bulbs, so I have them ordered. Headlights, tail lights, cowl lights and brake lights will work when you buy the car. The optional instrument light works. The horn is not working, I will check it out. They usually just have dirty brushes. I will fix it if I can without buying a new horn. CONSIDERATION I have for sale a good looking 1939 Model A Coupe with rumble seat. The engine runs great, the brakes are good for a Model A, I think the car drives good, I just put 4 new Firestone tires on, Its just a nice Model A with a cured restoration. HISTORY: I bought the car from a guy a couple of town from me. He moved here from the Bakersfield, California area. He had a friend that owned the Model A that lived near him in California. When the friend got so old that he didn't drive the car anymore the guy that lives here bought it. He was going to make a Street Rod out of it, but decided it would be a shame to destore a nice car. He bought it here earlier this year. Lots of pictures below, just scroll down to see them all. TITLE: The title is Tennessee and says previous state of registration California. MILES: 69598 reading, but who really knows. WHO RESTORED THE CAR? I am a restorer, but did not restore this one. It was restored by someone in California. I am retired, but buy cars for resell, I do polish them, repair and inspect things. HOW IS THE ENGINE? I think it runs good, it starts good and has no rattles or knocks other than normal Model A noises. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its good, Model A Ford transmission did not have synconized first gear and the other gears don't have good ones. This transmission good, its just the way they were built. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good for Model A, they are manual brakes. The parking brake works. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I think it drives good for a 1930 Model A, they are not power steering.. HOW IS THE PAINT? It has a real good shine, I buffed it with a polish cleaner and it looks new, but its not. It does have several touched up chips. No dings or dents. HOW IS THE TOP? It real good, one conere is up a little. HOW IS THE RUNNING BOARDS? The rubber is good. CAR IS THE ORIGINAL 6 VOLTS, it has a new battery, new cutout relay and new amp meter. HOW IS THE GLASS? It is real good, no cracks, no milky places, the windshield is clear. From one angle my pictures make the glass look cloudy, it is not, its water spots on the glass, look at other pictures. REAR GLASS is the optioned roll down type. It does have some fuzz from the upholstery at the edge, I will trim it off. WINDSHIELD: Its folds out, I guess thats you air condisioning. HOW IS THE CHROME? Its all nice. HOW ARE THE TIRES? At a cost of $800 I just put 4 new Firestone wide whites on. I put new tubes and rim liners on. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good, the worst thing I see is a punched hole above the drivers head. DOES THE CAR LEAK? Model A Fords did not have rear main oil seals, people didnot worry about a drop on the dirt floor. WIPERS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! LIGHTS were missing some 6 volt bulbs, so I have them ordered. Headlights, tail lights, cowl lights and brake lights will work when you buy the car. The optional instrument light works. The horn is not working, I will check it out. They usually just have dirty brushes. I will fix it if I can without buying a new horn. Chrysler : Imperial Crown 1957 imperial crown coupe project w 392 hemi

*RELISTED DO TO NON PAYING BIDDER. REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED* Up for sale is my 1957 Imperial Crown Coupe. One of 4199 built. This car is a project needing full restoration. It's Regimental Red (code R) with a Charcol Grey Roof (K). Dark and light grey leather interior (code #83) Very striking and unusual color combination. This exact color combo is shown in all the Imperial brochures on the base model coupe. (see last photo showing brochure). Equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat, radio w/ foot control, heater, Flyte Sweep trunk lid. This car spent all it's life in Southern California. Black plate car (plates have been on the car since 1963), last registered and on the road in 1980. 99% complete, needs air cleaner, hubcaps, the 4 gold fender crowns, and 1 inside windshield eagle emblem (which is reproduced). These cars were very rust prone and this one is quite solid. Majority of (remaining) paint on the car is original. Floors are perfect, you couldn't ask for nicer. So is the undercarriage, not heavily rusted or corroded (like you see out here in the Midwest). Way better than most. It needs a small patch on driver side rocker, (see photo 5), very easy fix. On the passenger side where it is dented there is rust out. An area about 30 in long and 2 to 2 1/2 wide. It's not bad, an entire quality reproduction extended rocker (72 in) is $80, so this will be a straightforward fix. It appears to me water got trapped in this area and that is what caused the rust. Rest of rocker is solid. The dent will come out, to me it looks like it was just popped in. This car spent time in junkyard and I think something was bumped or backed into it there. The car has damage on the passenger side rear bumper area, it looks like this can be worked out also, but if wanted I am including a section from another car to repair it, should you want to just cut it out. . Also will include entire remains of that car if wanted And another rear bumper (see parts list below for more info). Driver's side door dented as you can see, this will pull out but I know where you can get a straight solid door (see below), might be easier to bolt on another. The trim on this door will straighten out. Some old body work done on upper driver side quarter. Yes this car has the 392 cu. in. HEMI which is complete, I don't have the build sheet but see no reason not to think this is the original HEMI to the car. I think it has a spun run bearing so it will need to be rebuilt. I can't get it to turn over. That's the most common issue with these when they won't turn and aren't stuck due to rust.. Pulled the heads off, one cylinder wall has some light surface rust, rest are pristine (I do have photos showing the motor with the heads off). I have reassembled the motor but figure on tear down and rebuild, car deserves it anyway. Only thing I didn't try to was to see if trans was locking up motor. Or perhaps I just didn't try hard enough to free motor and tat one cylinder is stuck? It has been sitting a long long time. Motor is complete, carb is out so that is why it is off in certain photos, a better carb will be reinstalled. 66k is what's on the odometer, don't know if original, it could be based on looking at cylinder walls. I doubt this car has run since 1980. The interior is of course dry rotted and will need to be completely redone. But everything is there, nothing missing or broken. And no rust out! The front seat on the passenger side will need some work on the springs as it sits low. The driver's side armrest is there, just wasn't installed in the photos. Car even has both very rare sill plates which are really nice. The plastic door panel inserts are perfect (those are $800 a pair reproduction). The passenger side door and quarter glass go up and down. Couldn't get driver door and quarter window to move. Seat motor runs but doesn't move. The headlight switch appears to be good, headlights, parking light, and tail lights work. Antenna and horns do not. Glove box and lower part of dash in good shape, dash pad needs to be redone, steering wheel pretty cracked, will need to be recast. The access panel for the steering gear has surface rust (very common) but no rust out. There is a Southern California AAA sticker on the windshield and one for the "Quail Valley Country Club" There is scattering of papers and stuff I found when cleaning out the car, including the last registered owner's name & address, (appears to have been an elderly couple). All glass on the car is in excellent to like new condition. Car even has it's original bumper jack and the wood block, all in great shape. Most chrome needs replating but excellent cores, no junk. Stainless is nice, vast majority just needs polishing. This is California trim not the stuff you see back east....... Flyte Sweep trunk insert is in good shape, needs replating but usually these are shot. No rust in trunk, about 90% of factory undercoating is present Will come with a clear California title. I am selling this car because there is a convertible I would like to purchase. As much as I want to keep and restore this one, I have many cars, and I am short on time, space & money. I want to see this car go to good home, to someone who will do a full restoration on it to factory specs. I regret having to let it go, will not see another one like this.
