1969 Dodge Coronet 440***UPDATED PICS*** Email to see more.....24 is not enough to show all of the car in detail, I have close to 100 pics and a couple videos!!! Feel free to ask any questions. ***This will be the last time this vehicle is listed on eBay. Relisting is getting expensive haha and I figure if it doesn't sell, it's simply not meant to be.*** My 4spd Mopar will just have to wait.....or I'll just turn this into a 4spd :D Short Video of car here (may have to copy and paste link, I couldn't get it to work correctly) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrPgtLwLh2Y Clean, solid 1969 Dodge Coronet. I am listing this car as a good, solid, driver condition vehicle. It does need some TLC. Mostly just small things I haven't gotten around to doin yet. Doesnt need much to be a very very nice show car, or just drive as is. Get looks and thumbs up everytime! Car is 99% rust free, I say 99 because there is one small spot in trunk (smaller than a dime) and some on corner of rear window. The car retains all of original sheet metal with exception of rear bumper (AMD part). Some bubbling under old paint job (see pics), some paint missing off driver's C-pillar, seam sealer showing where vinyl top used to be. Don't let undercarriage pics deter you....its just coated with lots of thick undercoating. Which has likely saved this car from the Ohio winters from rusting away. This car is very solid. Good solid frame, floors, trunk and trunk extensions, quarters, cowl, firewall, rad support, etc etc. Was a small spot o rust on drivers frame rail, but this was (thankfully) spotted early and taken care of (have invoice). Also was in a hit n run a few years back....rear bumper took most of the damage, no structural damage. Same shop that did the section on the frame also did this and did a fantastic job (have before and after pics). Lastly, for some reason a small section of both rear frame rails looked as if someone took a can opener to them, maybe to feed battery cable thru (used to have battery mounted in trunk). However they didn't fix it when finished. Had I a welder it could be tapped back in place and welded back up. Not too big or even rusty at all, just ugly to look at if you're peeking under the car (have pics). Car was originally T7 (Dark Bronze Metallic) with tan vinyl top. Now bright yellow (as you may have noticed) with black R/T stripe. Paint is likely pushing 10 years old now and starting to show its age but easily cleans and shines up enough for cruising!! Despite the stripe and '440' callout on scoop, it is obviously not a real R/T and not a 440, but now a thumping 451 Cu In stroker engine. Car still has original tan interior upholstery which is in VGC and new carpet from Legendary. Small hole in middle of seat on drivers side, caused by screwdriver in pocket....ask me how I know haha Definitely kicked myself for that one. Anyways, also new Sony speakers, but no radio. I have one, also Sony, just not installed. I bought the car some 8 years ago in Virginia Beach, VA while still in the Navy. Had it ever since. Don't know too much about the car before that....was sitting on a buy here pay here lot lol. I think it was called Car Point, but I do know it was on VA Beach Blvd. Have a lot of time and money in the old gal, I feel my asking price is quite fair. I mean where else are you gonna find a reliable, running, driving, big Block B body Mopar in great shape for less than 20k?!? haha For me, I feel it's time to move on to another car....plus I really have the 4spd bug haMay be interested in non Mopar trades but will be looking for cash boot. But as mentioned really looking for a 4spd Mopar. Now for the fun stuff: Engine: -'77 400 bored and honed .030" w/ 3.75" stroke steel crank-NEW Keith Black hypereutic pistons-NEW Sealed Power rings -NEW Clevite main and rod bearings -rods reconditioned-block hot tanked, journals align honed-rebuilt 452 casting heads (new springs, seats, seals, retainers, locks, etc)-NEW Melling oil pump and pickup tube-NEW Crane timing chain and gear-NEW Felpro gaskets-NEW Edelbrock Performer Rpm camshaft misplaced cam card but I believe specs were 290* Dur @ .050", .495" Lift @ valve. Runs a tick above 160* F and ~45-50psi oil press-Also converted to use '72+ dual field alternators w/ bypassed ammeter and everything nice n grounded so no annoying dimming or flickering lights when signaling or sitting at a light.-Sounds and Runs absolutely FANTASTIC!! Transmission: 727 with TCI Reverse Manual Valvebody (PRN12D). Front servo (low/reverse) shimmed and outer spring replaced with HD. Rear (KD) servo assembly replaced as kit with new HD springs. Accumulator spring removed and block rod installed for good hard shifts using the B&M Megashifter!!Unknown brand and stall converter, as it came with car when I first bought it around 8yrs ago. It works very well with setup so I left it.New transmission mount.Shifts are crisp and instant and shifter is nice and broken in....really truly a blast to drive!! Rear End: Unfortunately it still retains the stock Chrysler 8.25 rear, however rebuilt and upgraded with 3.91s and Sure Grip. So far has held up to some abuse (hey the Jeep crowd loves these things for off roadin'), but as engine is still in 'break-in' stage, I try to go easy ;)I do have a complete drum to drum B Body 8.75 (open) rear available. Suspension, Wheels, Tires, Misc: Rebuilt front end with Poly bushings, upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, idler and pitman arms. All from PST. PST Pro touring 1.03" torsion bars. New de arched rear HD springs and all new shocks. Firm Feel rebuilt Stage III power steering chuck. Everything's nice 'n aligned 'n tight. Drives better than new! New American Racing Torque Thrust Ms 18s in back w/ NEW Goodyear Eagle F1 285/40s. 17s in front w/ NEW Goodyear Eagle F1 245/45s. Tires and rims have less than 50 mi on them.Drums were turned, new shoes and wheels cylinders. New Timken bearings as well. New master cylinderNew engine mounts from 440Source Interior: Still wears original seat upholstery, door panels, headliner, etc. I have dash trim pieces, the stainless as well as dual thumbwheel radio bezel. Carpet is new from Legendary. New insulation installed under carpet...may have put a bit too much as carpet doesnt quite fit tight in some areas tho may settle as it sees more use. New Sony speakers, also have Sony head unit but currently not installed. As mentioned a few of the gauges do not work. Speedometer stopped working right after I finished rebuild on my 2nd time out with car. Speedo cable was resting on header pipe....melted. Dash coolant temp gage recently stopped working as well. Ammeter was bypassed for charging system conversion (see above). All dash lights work, as well as map, glove box, and dome light. Car has A01 Light Group but ign switch light isn't working. Have aftermarket cluster installed under ashtray with Cool Temp, Oil Press, and Volt. Asking $16750. As mentioned this will be the last time listed on eBay. Extra parts if available if buyer wants them. Few emblems/badges, plastic repop Pentastar, Dodge's 'Fratzog', two (for vinyl top if you wish to put one on), extra trunk light harness, few other bits n pieces. Also I have a 413 (diassembled, w/ Eddy Performer 440 intake, will need rebuilt, but should be complete minus carb ), extra 727 for a big block. Also the old C Body style steel wheels that used to be on the car. As well as B body 8.75 rear end, complete drum to drum. Car listed for sell locally, so I reserve the right to end listing early. Car is sold as is. $500.00 nonrefundable deposit due within 48 hrs of Buyer Clicking the Buy It Now button. Balance due within 7 days, though more time can be arranged if needed. Buyer responsible for shipping/pickup. I will help load. All ebay rules, policies, regulations apply. Again, please feel free to ask any questions you may have, will do my best to answer them as quickly and as best I can, and again email if you wish to see additional pics/videos of the car.
