This is not a previous rental, but a privately used commercial lease return. Under the cab sits the powerful 6.0L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine that offers great power, torque, and efficiency. It is quite rare to find one with a diesel, so don't miss your chance to own it. While the early versions of this engine had a few issues, by 2009 they had figured things out and reliability is excellent. This truck can haul tools, supplies, furniture, carpet, and just about anything else you need to move in large quantities. The box measures approximately 12' long, 77" wide, and 72" tall inside. The rear door measures roughly 66" tall and 72" wide. There is plenty of head room inside to stand up, and it comes with a slide out loading ramp for those larger items. The inside walls and floor are aluminum lined with 2-rows of E-Track to secure your load. Our first thought is that it would be perfect for a power-washing business since it is all aluminum, but it could also be the perfect set-up for you carpenters, masons, storage facilities, carpet companies, delivery companies and on and on. In the cab, you won't find a bunch of fancy options or features, simply everything you need in a work truck. There's an AM/FM radio, Automatic Transmission, and even Air Conditioning. The new owner will get a great mid-size Box truck for a great price.....you will save a bunch of money buying here. The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) rating is 9,900 lbs so you can definitely haul plenty of materials, supplies, or cargo legally. The cab looks great as does the box, with no big scrapes or other issues. There is really nothing other than some normal wear and tear and marks and chips from regular driving and use to report. The only issue we can find is some paint bubbling/peeling on the rear roll up door. Remember, it is still a work truck so don't expect a showroom new vehicle. We just had it in to our local truck service shop for a fresh PA State/DOT inspection which it passed with flying colors. 1929 Ford Model A Huckster Truck Fully Restored and Converted to 12 Volts Runs and Drives Fantastic!!! Rare and Desirable Rare Opportunity............................LOW RESERVE Possibly the Nicest Huckster available!!! Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer this extra nice 1929 Ford Model A "Huckster" Truck. From 1928 through 1931, nearly 5 million Model A Fords were produced in approximately 15 different body configurations. the 1931 model sold for as low as $435.00 for a Roadster (approximately 22 cents a pound) to $625.00 for the Deluxe Phaeton. What is a Huckster? The "Huckster" was not a Ford model, but rather a style of converted vehicle used in the early part of the 20th century. Normally built by converting a pick-up body, although most models could be used, the rear of this type of vehicle was often fitted with a wood enclosure which had plenty of space for wares. Normally, they had cloth or leather panels to allow easy access to the rear portion of the vehicle which was filled with goods for sale. In other words, this was a conversion built expressly for peddlers, or hucksters, and used for delivering small goods such as fruits, vegetable or ??? My Grandfather lived in Wierton West Virginia way way back, even before my mom was born. He used to travel to the "Big City", Pittsburgh, Pa and buy a load of fruits and vegetables. He would then return to Wierton, and "Huck' his wares!!! This one appears to have been fully restored cosmetically and mechanically. It is all steel(except the rear fenders), and totally original!!! It has been thoughtfully converted to 12 volts, which allows it to start effortlessly, and run fantastic with bright and easy to see outside lighting. It is an absolute pleasure to drive, and draws an extreme amount of attention wherever it goes.
