Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II 1977 Recently fully work-shopped with major & minor services done. Priced for quick sale!! This is a very nice presenting Silver Shadow II finished in factory Yellow with chocolate Connolly leather interior accented with cream piping. The carpets throughout are in the same theme. This is a unique car in that it has a glass sun-roof fitted. Please remember, Rolls-Royce in this era did not offer sun-roofs as an option so these were fitted aftermarket and. as such, are rare. Previously enthusiast owned, this is a very nice clean driver example that is fun to potter around in. It is a gorgeous driver quality example. She is cosmetically very pretty and mechanically & operationally sound. The body is quite straight and the paint presenting very nicely, but there are minor imperfections here and there. The car presents with a nice consistent shine but there is a slight mismatch colour on the left rear and right front fender - not highly noticeable but mentioned out of "clear disclosure". Minor and typical "lead wiping" fracture marks which is common to ALL original Silver Shadows are present at the base of the A & C pillars. (Rolls-Royce used a process of 'lead-wiping" to join body panels, so with the different metallurgic properties of lead, steel, and aluminium, the over-lying paint would fracture in these places). When driving up in her, she looks nice and only close up, you can see the imperfections. But overall, the car is better than a "10 footer" as some would use to describe cars. To reaffirm, a great driver example in good condition but not a show car. The chocolate interior is the original Connolly leather and this presents lovely with nothing to do. The leather is soft and supple without any tears or noticeable signs of wear. Very clean and tidy indeed. Certainly, it shows the car has been well looked after in its 38 odd years. The wood was redone by someone other than us and was done very well. We would rate this a high quality job. The refinish of the wood is a huge bonus as this is about $3,500 to have done by experts. And, this car WAS done by professionals with a high gloss and flat finish. The grain and colour of the wood is superb! The carpets are in good clean condition without any noticeable wear nor tears. The dash and rear parcel shelf are clean and present well. Because of the fitted sunroof, the headliner is not original and overall is ok but does have some imperfections and discolouration. The car has its original Blaupunkt factory push button radio with a later model CD stereo system fitted beneath. The trunk is in excellent condition. Very clean and tidy with its original factory Wilton wool carpet. Under the hood, she is well organised and shows all the signs of a well maintained example. The car was recently inspected by Park-Ward Motors (America's leader in Silver Shadow restoration) and underwent any required maintenance. Brake & hydraulics to include pumps, accumulators, calipers and, hoses have all been done and various other mechanical items attended to, including carburettors, engine tune, exhaust and bringing all services up to date. The air conditioning is ice cold and has been pressure tested. Overall a nice looking car in very original condition. This is no show car but a nice 8 or 9-out-of-10 driver quality example. If the wood is in need of repair (as most are) it is refinished in-house by trained and talented craftsmen at Park-Ward Motors. This is a detailed process of stripping the wood of its old lacquer, repairing the veneer if there is damage, staining the top surface as per Rolls-Royce methodology and refinishing with no less than 25 coats of clear lacquer. Hand wet-sanded and polished between all of its last 15 coats. New window felt guides and wood-to-glass foam seals are fitted. All window mechanisms are checked and serviced for smooth and efficient up and down movement. This includes an electrical modification to rectify the typical “slow window syndrome”. All tracks, chains and gears are lubricated. Where central locking is fitted, these are all serviced to ensure no “solenoid sticking”, another common problem. Units are repaired and or changed as required for refurbished units. Door wiring and door-to-body wiring is checked, repaired and/or replaced as required. The splash plastic on the inside of the doors to protect the leather panels from rain splash from inside the door is replaced with correct specification black plastic as used by the factory. Cut to shape and glued in position as per original. All door hardware is checked and repaired as required including locks, handles and scuttle finishes. The door is reassembled with all items cleaned and polished. The wood refitted and the leather panels are re-Connollised before final fitment. This is a nice presenting Silver Shadow finished in Old Ivory (pale yellow) with tan Connolly leather interior. Previously enthusiast owned, this is a nice clean driver example that is fun to potter around in but PLEASE understand she is no show car. She is mechanically and operationally sound. The body is reasonably straight but the paint is tired and showing some age. The car presents with a nice shine but there is mismatch colour on the right front fender and various top surfaces show pock marks and blemishes. There are little nicks and chips here and there and the car shows its typical "lead wiping" fracture marks which is common to ALL original Silver Shadows. (Rolls-Royce used a process of 'lead-wiping" to join body panels, so with the different metallurgic properties of lead, steel, and aluminium, the over-lying paint would fracture in these places). It otherwise still presents quite well with a high gloss and flat finish. The carpets are in good clean condition without any noticeable wear nor tears. The dash and rear parcel shelf are clean and present well. The original headliner, finished in broad cloth wool is in good condition but shows some discolouration. The trunk is in excellent condition. Very clean and tidy with its original factory wilton wool carpet. Under the hood, she is well organised and shows all the signs of a well maintained example. I have owned this car for 2 years and I am the second owner. The car was previously owned by a 50 year old lady that traded it in for a newer TSX. Her loss was my gain. Before purchasing this car 2 years ago, I was trying to find something local near St. Louis. Unfortunately, there was nothing that caught my eye as this car did. This car was so clean (and still is) that I drove to South Carolina to get it. The car has a clean title and the title is in hand. Auto check also indicates a correction on the title. There was a typo on the title as 12,861 miles instead of 72,861 when I registered the car in MO. I took a picture of the odometer to verify the mileage so you know it has never been tampered with. This is my daily driver car that is used for business. I am in financial planning, which entails meeting with clients; primarily highway driving. I purchased the car with approximately 72,000 miles, and it now has just over 100,000. The engine in the TSX's is the K24 2.4L Inline 4. The engine is basically indestructible, as it is one of the only engines in the Honda lineup that uses a timing chain as opposed to a timing belt. That being said, this car is just being broken in. They typically go 250,000+ miles, when well maintained. If you break it before then, you're just an idiot. I am selling this car to help use toward my downpayment on a house. As the car sits, there are NO mechanical issues. I have NEVER had a check engine light since I have owned it. The car has been meticulously maintained, as you can see from the pictures and video. I just recently added window tint (35% in the front, 20% in the rear). It can be easily removed if not desired by the new owner. The previous owner backed the car up into her husbands car in the driveway. She had the bumper replaced. I saw the receipt from the dealer I purchased the car from. The damage was around $1000, so she went through insurance. It shows up on the car-fax/auto check as minor damage. Other than that, there have been no accidents. Auto check also indicates a correction on the title. There was a typo on the title as 12,861 miles instead of 72,861 when I registered the car in MO. I took a picture of the odometer to verify the mileage so you know it has never been tampered with. This is my daily driver car that is used for business. I am in financial planning, which entails meeting with clients; primarily highway driving. I purchased the car with approximately 72,000 miles, and it now has just over 100,000. The engine in the TSX's is the K24 2.4L Inline 4. The engine is basically indestructible, as it is one of the only engines in the Honda lineup that uses a timing chain as opposed to a timing belt. That being said, this car is just being broken in. They typically go 250,000+ miles, when well maintained. If you break it before then, you're just an idiot. I took her home and spoiled her good with a new paint job, complete engine overhaul, new tires/wheels/brakes, and just about everything else you can replace. I put wheels/tires in the rear that are slightly bigger than the front and added spacers to give it that old fashioned "staggered" muscle car look. It looks aggressive and I get a lot of compliments when taking her out. It's perfect for a weekend toy or even a daily driver if you're not too worried about gas. I, on the other hand, would want a seller to tell me about known flaws, so I'm sharing them with you regardless of how minor they might be. 1) The front bucket leather seats need to to be replaced (not internal frame). I will include NEW seats with sale! 2) There is a small hole in the back seat the size of a pencil eraser (as seen in the photos). 3) The steering wheel is aging a bit. I will include a custom sized cover that will come with sale! 4) There is a spot on each of the driver and passenger's belt straps that is frayed. I will include NEW seatbelts with sale! 5) The odometer backlight bulb will go out occasionally (odometer works fine). I'm having this looked into.6) The spoiler is fiberglass and bubbles when painted - its been repainted 3x and bubbles every time. While these are just minor cosmetic blemishes that are inexpensive to care for I like to be as honest and transparent as possible. Overall the car looks immaculate and runs like new. Like with any used vehicle, this is being sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied. To use the OBG, go to The OBG can be used to file your regular sales tax returns, as well as employer withholding and commercial activities tax returns and payments. In the registration process, you will be asked for your FEIN or SSN, vendor’s license number, dealer permit number, address, contact person, email address and phone number. Dealers that file sales tax returns on a master number (89X3XXXX) will use the master number as the vendor’s license number and report the tax by each dealer license number. Once registered with the OBG, you can select an application to pay the sales tax on sales to the specific nonresidents. The tax is to be paid monthly, by the 10 of each month.
