Selling a 1995 Chevrolet Corsica. This is a RARE FULLY LOADED model: power windows/ door locks/ cruise control/ trunk release/ air/ auto transmission/ cycle wipers/ tilt wheel/ daytime running lights/ anti lock brakes. The Corsica was Chevrolet's answer to the Honda Civic/ Toyota Corolla. It was produced from 1987 to 1996. Despite being a successful model (they sold well over a million units), GM decided to discontinue the car (and its counterpart- the Chevy Beretta) because they didn't want to make upcoming federal changes. TODAY, these cars are VERY rare and nice examples are even rarer. HISTORY: This car was originally a Wisconsin Park District municipal vehicle (government) driven by a supervisor. I purchased it in a municipal auction in 2004. The car was repainted (the original paint was literally falling off) and immediately it was sent from Chicago to my sister in Los Angeles, where it remained until recently. BODY: Being in southern California served this car well cause it never became a rust bucket like so many others. The car has NEVER been in an accident thus it has all of its original panels and glass. It has always been well maintained. It was only used sparingly as a second car. The UNDERBODY is also solid. Any impending rust issues were addressed. The underbody is something MOST sellers DON'T want you to see!! ENGINE: This car has the gas saving 2.2 liter 4 cylinder. And it runs well!! This car only has an ORIGINAL 79,000 miles. In 2019, the head gasket was replaced/ radiator/ all hoses. When the car returned back to Chicago it had many issues that had to be addressed and were done. Replaced: a new heater core/ fuel pump/ injectors/ fuel regulator/ fuel filter/ tires/ battery/ air recharged. UPDATES: While in California the stock interior was upgraded to the rare upscale one and it does look better. The stock 14 inch tires were upgraded to the rare 15 inch Chevy alloy rims/ tires and as a result the car looks better and rides better. But best of all, this car has a DEALER INSTALLED DELUXE SUNROOF. Its deluxe because it has adjustable sunscreens built in. And it doesn't leak. Many Berettas had sunroofs whereas the Corsica didn't. At some point my sister replaced the factory radio with an aftermarket one. HOWEVER, when the car returned, the aftermarket radio was gone and the original radio (with cassette player) does come with the car. I didn't reinstall it since the new owner would probably go with another aftermarket unit. DISCRESSIONS: The 19 year old paint does show wear in sections. There are also small indentations on the body. But this isn't a new car, its still almost 30 years old and even with minor ailments it STILL presents itself well. And everything works!! Overall this is a good looking, good running, reliable car that would make a nice second car/ commuter car. It would also serve a student/ new / or young driver well. With proper care, a Corsica will EASILY last at least 200 thousand miles, so this car is set up for many more years and miles of service. Selling for $5750 or best offer. PREFER the car be seen in person to be truly appreciated. NOT INTERESTED in "lowballers"/ junior brokers. I'm NOT a money desperate seller either.

While it surely doesn’t look like it, this LTD Brougham has covered over 102,000 miles throughout the course of its 43 year life. This car is phenomenally well-preserved and needs absolutely nothing to be a reliable, impressively-clean routine driver. Exterior: First off, paint. Paint is a respray of the original black and presents exceedingly well. You would be hard-pressed to find any signs of aging at all. There are no rock chips, even on the lowest points of the front end and behind the rear wheels. The only paint blemish whatsoever is a light scratch between the trunk crease and bottom of the rear window, which is about 2 inches in length. Gold pinstripes are without cracks or wear, and contrast beautifully against the black paint. Chrome is excellent throughout, and really completes the look of this big 2-door coupe. There is no oxidation on the chrome, and it shines bright. Chrome rocker trim just underneath the door jambs appears to be slightly warped; to call it dented would be an overstatement. “Warping” is identical on both driver and passenger sides and is only noticeable upon close inspection. Black vinyl top is pristine; the car truly is in very impressive shape. The top is in as-new condition. All glass is clear and crack free. Panel fitment is excellent and the doors close without a fuss. Interior: Gray Gold cloth interior looks sharp against the black exterior. The interior presents similarly to the exterior; it’s clean and neat with very few signs of wear. Wear includes a crack in the plastic on the back of the steering wheel, a small spot of faux wood on the lower dash that peeled off with the removal of a sticker, and a light scratch on the glovebox. Bench seat is very comfortable and is free of stains or tears, as is the gold carpeting. Headliner is tight, backseat looks as though it has seen very little, if any use. Floormats are free of stains, and rubber Ford floormats will come with the car as well. The only powered system that does not appear to be functioning properly is the analog clock. Air conditioning blows nice and cold, radio sounds great, and cruise control works. All lights, signals, and dash lights are functional. Odometer is functional; odometer reads 2,100 miles, as it rolled over when the car surpassed 100,000, but the car could easily pass as a 2,100 mile “survivor”. A real time-capsule. Under the Hood / Underbody: This particular LTD Brougham retains its original 400cid 6.6L V8. Car runs and drives very, very well. Starts first turn, idles cool and steady, and tracks nice and straight. Brakes feel great, no hooking in either direction. My first time behind the wheel of this car was in Chicago highway traffic, not really the most enjoyable way to get to know a car. I was impressed by its road manners; there were no noises or tendencies of concern whatsoever. When the traffic cleared, I was able to wind the car out a bit. At 70mph it’s right at home; this car will happily eat up highway mileage all day. Underneath, there is no rust of any concern. Rust is limited to light surface; all structural components are rock solid. Four new Hankook tires were put on last year and have 10/32” tread depth (90% tread life left). Overall, this ‘74 LTD Brougham is a nicely preserved example that has clearly been babied throughout its life. It’s in seriously impressive shape and is sure to make its next owner very happy. This is a truck we’re very excited to have in our inventory. As far as we’re concerned, this is about as cool as trucks get. With four-wheel-drive, a winch, and a tough-as-nails flathead six-cylinder, it’s pure utility with the added charm of the iconic vintage look. We acquired the truck from North Dakota, where it had been under long-term ownership. The gentleman who owned it had passed away, and his family, with no desire to keep it stored, decided to sell it. You do not find these trucks today with as much originality as this one. Exterior: The body tag/VIN matches the frame VIN stamp! The truck underwent a thorough mechanical and cosmetic restoration in 1992, and has remained in excellent condition since, having been garage-kept. Dark green paint is in great shape throughout, having clearly been done to a high standard; door panels were removed for paint, and door jambs, floors, and side-step all show in excellent condition. They went as far as refinishing the insides of the door panels, firewall, frame, etc. This was a full frame-off restoration. We note only minor scratches on the front fenders and passenger headlight mount, where the bonnet lid has made contact. These scratches have since been touched-up, but are visible upon close inspection. The body is totally straight, with absolutely no dents, dings, or scuffs. Glass and lights are all clear and crack-free, chrome is well-preserved, and the wood-lined bed is in great shape. There are no scars from cargo banging around in the bed, just the nice contrast of stained wood against the dark green paint. This truck is fitted with the early-series bed, which is identifiable by the four stake pocket design, which we much prefer to the later beds. We note the panel fitment to be excellent all the way around, from doors, to front-end, and bed. We do not see any patch work on panels, so we believe this to have been a largely rust free candidate when restored. Interior: The bare-bones presentation of the interior is just how we like it. Floors, dash, door panels, and pedal box are painted, and show very well. Gauges are correct and functional, with the speedometer center-mounted, aligned with the steering wheel. Odometer currently reads 62,700 miles. Dark brown vinyl bench seat is in great shape, as is the headliner, having been refinished during the restoration. Choke and light switches on the lower dash do show slight signs of wear, with the white lettering fading away. The split windshield can be swung out from the bottom to allow airflow into the cabin, which is a handy feature considering the truck’s lack of air conditioning. Looking at the dash and pillars, the interior paint work presents just as nice as the exterior. All placards remain in top condition offering instructions on the gear selection, 4WD, and winch. All dash features function properly, including the windshield wipers, choke, throttle adjust. The door handles require a little pressure when releasing the latch. Overall, the interior is very, very nice and has the slightest bit of patina. Under the Hood / Underbody: Engine is a correct ‘52 D42 230cid flathead 6-cylinder unit with a 23” head, though not original to this truck. While not the original motor this is an era-correct motor in the same configuration. Original block would start with T137. Transmission is correct, and is an after-type non-synchromesh unit, which is what was originally in this truck. The truck is still on a 6V charging system, with the correct and original starter still in place. The winch is the correct Braden M2-144 unit, and functions perfectly. The cable appears to have been replaced and is in top condition. During the 1992 restoration, the truck was also treated to a new fuel cell, clutch, and brakes, along with many other mechanical replacements and refurbishments. We recently rebuilt the master cylinder and carburetor and adjusted the brakes. The truck is in excellent running and driving condition. It runs, shifts, drives, and stops very well, with no tendencies or noises of concern. We do note some drying on the tires; however, these are tubed tires so it is not much of a concern for simple road use. There are no leaks, and absolutely no rust. The underbody is in excellent shape. Please give the photos a good look-through, as the condition of the truck truly speaks for itself. Running/Driving: Thanks in part to a thorough restoration and recent service, this truck is a fantastic runner and driver. It starts easily and smoke free. The idle control helps get the fluids warm as you push the choke back in. It idles nice and quiet and revs properly. The clutch is heavy and is free from slippage. Truck shifts well, though double-clutching the non-synchro transmission takes a bit of getting used to. Stopping is even and straight with the refurbished braking system. The winch controls and winch itself work like new. The transfer case levers are easy to engage and work as they should. Steering is “armstrong” power which only gets easier at speed. The ride, while rugged, is fun and enjoyable. This is definitely one of the coolest and rarest trucks you will ever drive! In summary, this ‘52 example is a beautifully restored and well-maintained example of the iconic Power Wagon. This show-ready truck is ready to be enjoyed, whether that be as a utility vehicle or as a collector’s item.
