I can assist with financing and transport as needed. Here is a fantastic looking 1970 Mustang that makes you wonder why Ford never made a Boss 302 convertible. This is one of those cars that looks fast just standing still. And while it has a load of visual appeal, it is also a load of fun to drive. This car spent most of its life out west. It was originally ordered from Washington state but also spent time in California and Wyoming, which helped keep the rust at bay. The car has been repainted in its original Code J Grabber Blue and also received Boss 302 graphics. I don't think there's a better color combination, especially with the black convertible top. There is also a front air dam, rear spoiler, and Mach 1 style hood scoop. All chrome, moldings, bezels, etc. are in very nice shape. The look is completed with the new 15" Magnum 500 wheels with Cooper tires. While this car was an F-code 302ci 2v from the factory, the motor no longer looks, sounds, or performs like the original setup. And I mean that in a good way. The engine has been rebuilt with aluminum Ford SVO cylinder heads, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and Holley double pumper carburetor. The ignition uses a Mallory Unilite distributor fired through an MSD 6T box and Accel coil. It really sounds tough through the headers and dual Flowmaster mufflers. The engine is coupled to a Ford C4 automatic transmission through a performance torque converter (2,800 rpm stall speed). It all gives this car plenty of zip! This Mustang also has power steering and power front disc brakes, with a factory style suspension front and rear. There are many new parts throughout. Note too the chrome export brace and Monte Carlo bar under the hood; these are must-haves on the old Mustang convertibles. The black standard interior uses stock components except for the aftermarket woodgrain steering wheel and Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo. The speedometer and all gauges work properly. So do the dash lights and courtesy lights. The heater/defroster, horn, wipers, and parking brake all work as well. Finally, the power top goes up and down smoothly with good window fitment. You will not go unnoticed in this car. It brings out the best of the 1970 convertible styling without being over-the-top. It is also easy to drive with plenty of performance, and offers about as much fun as you can have in a car. Just what you'd expect out of a classic Mustang. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. Here is a wonderful example of the biggest automotive icon from the mid-70's: the Pontiac Trans Am. This 1976 model is the genuine article, with its numbers-matching 6.6L engine, rare Goldenrod Yellow paint, and factory air conditioning. And it drives every bit as good as it looks. This is a real Trans Am, as designated by the "W" in the VIN along with the "WS4" on the Norwood cowl tag. It is a very solid car; the floors and frame pieces all appear original and in great shape. The car has been repainted its original Code 51 Goldenrod Yellow which not only looks beautiful but is a rare find. Of course, the decals have been redone as well; can you even imagine this car without them? The optional Rally II wheels with Firestone tires really add to the look too. There are also has new seals, lenses, bezels, and more. The car has its original Pontiac YZ-code motor. This 400ci / 6.6L setup is topped by the factory 4-barrel carburetor and shaker hood scoop. It starts and runs very smoothly; it is not a big lumpity-lump type of motor. Still, it can chirp the tires with the typical Pontiac torque. The rest of the driveline consists of a TH350 automatic transmission and 10-bolt rear end. There is also power steering along with power front disc brakes. The black interior looks great. The seats have been recovered and are in excellent condition. The dash pad, door panels, carpet, and reflective "fish scale" dash and console inserts have also been replaced. The headliner is in very good condition too. The heat / defrost / air conditioning (converted to R134a) all function properly, along with the factory rear window defogger. The horn, wipers, and parking brake all work good too, as do the speedometer and other gauges (except the clock). The audio system sounds nice with a modern Alpine head unit, Clarion speakers, and a power antenna. Note this Trans Am also comes with a copy of the original window sticker from PHS, which shows it being delivered to Dick McFeely Pontiac on December 9, 1975. Listed options include air conditioning, hood decal, Rally II wheels, and front console. It also includes the original owners manuals. This is a car you can really enjoy driving. The power steering, power brakes, and automatic transmission make for an easy cruise, while the nice interior and a/c will keep you comfortable. Further, there aren't many cars that have the aura of a Trans Am. Check this one out before prices get any higher. The looks are breathtaking, the sound is tremendous, and the ride is extreme. There isn't much comparison out there. This 2-owner car was built by CAV in 2000 and has been driven about 7,500 miles since. It spent the last 12 years in California where it received an SB100 smog exemption. It was repainted in 2015 and looks fantastic! Several other parts were recently replaced or freshened, including the Lexan engine cover. Also note the 15" Halibrand style knock-off wheels, complete with safety wire. The car is powered by a Ford 5.0L motor. Highlights include a full roller valvetrain, aluminum heads, and a new FAST electronic fuel injection setup. The FAST system is very nice, providing real time data and allowing simple tuning. And the eight velocity stacks, throttle linkage, and blue anodized fuel rails sitting under the engine cover is a beautiful sight indeed. There is also a bundle-of-snakes exhaust that sounds like pure evil. The transaxle is a Getrag 5-speed unit. Brakes are discs all around with a power booster, while the manual steering rack is nice and tight. The suspension uses adjustable coilover shocks front and rear so you can easily adjust ride height to your preference. Cooling uses a very effective C&R aluminum radiator with dual electric fans controlled by the FAST module. The interior is classic GT40, starting with the leather seats with aluminum rings. The dashboard has all the expected gauges. You also have access to the FAST display / touch screen which offers many additional items; fuel rail pressure, intake air temperature, air/fuel ratio, and more. The car is also equipped with a heater / air conditioner and backup camera. Note there is a single arm windshield wiper as well (removed for the pictures). This is not a car to be taken lightly. It demands your full attention while driving, as the slightest slip of your right foot could lead to trouble. So if you're after a relaxing drive in the country then keep looking. But if you really want to stir your senses, you've found your car. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. Tri-Power, 8-lug, working a/c, and more! On 9-19-61 Pontiac issued a press release stating, "Pontiac Announces Spectacular New Grand Prix Model". This 1962 classic is what they were referring to, with Bunkie Knudsen proclaiming "the new car presents an image of distinguished simplicity" and "Pontiac has added an extraordinary power team for exceptional road performance." This example was built on 11-17-61 and sold on 11-24-61. It is believed to be a 3-owner car, staying within the same family for nearly 40 years and accumulating 76,000 miles to date (documents included). The car was repainted its original Cameo Ivory and has a very nice finish. All chrome and moldings are in nice shape too. Not to be missed are the 8-lug wheels, including the spare with hold-down plate. The 389 cubic inch motor runs great and has nice power. Originally a 303hp single 4-barrel setup, it was recently converted to a Tri-Power arrangement with three 2-barrel carbs (the original intake and carb are included). This is always a favorite when you pop the hood (or the accelerator). The automatic transmission is the original 3-speed Roto Hydramatic unit. The power steering and power brakes are very effective, while the suspension is smooth and free of squeaks. The Grand Prix interior continues to separate this car from its Catalina and Bonneville brethren. This one is in excellent condition throughout. The bucket seats flank the center console with tachometer and storage bin, while the rear seat has a folding center armrest and speaker. Note the special Grand Prix steering wheel too. The gauges, lighting, wipers, and horn all work properly. So does the Wonderbar radio and factory air conditioning, converted to R134a. This is a great roadworthy car that was driven 150 miles to my dealership. It is a great combination of everything we like about cars. To cite one more quote from that press release, "The result is an unbeatable combination of spectacular sports car styling and performance with unexcelled family car ride, handling and comfort." It was produced in 2002 with a sticker price of $52,500. Only 3,356 were built, making this model very exclusive and positioning it as a future collectible. The Blackwood is based on the F150 platform, so you get a capable full-size pickup but with the Lincoln treatment. The Blackwood has a lower ride height which makes it easier to get in and out. It also has a specially tuned chassis, acceleration sensitive shocks, and a rear leaf / air spring setup you won't find on the Ford. It all makes for a more comfortable ride (as expected) while maintaining an 8,700 pound towing capacity with the 5.4L engine and 3.73 limited slip rear end. Outside there is no mistaking the Blackwood; you will be surprised at how many people gawk at this truck! The most distinguishing feature has to be the bed with its burled black wood finish and aluminum inserts. The bed's floor is carpeted while the sides have stainless steel panels and factory neon lighting. There is nothing else like it! Further, the factory power tonneau cover works perfectly with either the keyfob or cabin switches. Note the bed is sealed tight when everything is closed. The interior uses black leather and simulated wood accents throughout. It has quad style seating with front and rear consoles. There is an automatic climate control with heated / cooled seats in front and rear fan controls. The factory Alpine audio system with CD changer sounds amazing. There is also a roof console and power sunroof. This is definitely a rare truck; I have never seen another one on the road. And this example, with its low mileage and exceptional condition, really stands out. You'll have an easier time finding a nice 1957 Nomad (6,103 built) than a Blackwood like this one. It is a great looking 1970 Chevrolet C10 with a bundle of nice features including a 350ci V8 engine with a 4-speed Muncie transmission. It all makes for a classic truck that looks great and offers more fun than you might expect. This C10 has a straight and rust-free body that you don't always see in these trucks. It looks great with its nice red paint and shiny chrome. There are also a few mild custom touches. These include tasteful pinstriping, a louvered hood, and a louvered visor. You may also note the matching 6-lug wheels along with the frenched power antenna. The bed has a protective carpet and stainless accents along with a nice Berlin tonneau cover. The dual exhaust also adds to the look (and the sound). The engine is a mildly built 350 cubic inch Chevy. It has a larger cam, roller rocker arms, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and Holley 4-barrel carburetor. There is also an HEI distributor and Hedman headers. The engine has plenty of zip, and with the Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, it gives a spirited drive. Still, the truck feels solid and smooth, without a bunch of suspension squeaks or rattles. The power steering and power brakes work great too. The interior has been redone in black and red. The seat, door panels, dash pad, and headliner were all covered in matching fabric. The dash has a full set of factory gauges, all of which work properly, along with a tachometer. There is also a tilt column which can be very nice in these old trucks. The wipers, heater, horn, and emergency brake all work properly, while the sound system uses a basic AM/FM/cassette stereo. There are also halo headlights for a little bling. This really is a nice pickup, and a great example of the second generation C10. It stands out from the crowd but still has a clean look, and gives the driver a good reason to take the long way home. This 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic is a great tribute to the old Mopar E-Body, but fortunately the resemblance is only skin deep. The new Challenger is far superior in every other way. And this example, with its Hemi power, 6-speed manual transmission, and plethora of options, really gets it right. This beautiful example, with its desirable Red and Black color combination, has just 29,000 miles and a clean history. It is very nicely optioned and in fantastic condition inside and out. The red color with black R/T striping looks very sharp, especially with the R/T Classic features including the shiny gas cap. Completing the look are the 20" aluminum wheels with new Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires. Now to my favorite part. This Challenger is powered by a 5.7L Hemi with variable valve timing. Its 376 net horsepower rating is more than the famous 1970 426ci Hemi and its 425 gross / 350 net. Hard to believe, until you step on the gas. There is plenty of power while the performance exhaust sounds great, especially under load. This car also has the optional Trak Pak setup. This includes a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission mated to a limited slip rear end with 3.92 gears. All this performance remains very easy to drive and includes speed sensitive steering, electronic stability control, and anti-lock disc brakes. The leather interior is officially called Dark Slate Gray but looks black. It is in excellent condition and still smells new. The front heated buckets are both comfortable and supportive. Note the beautiful embroidered headrests and rear seat. The factory pistol grip shifter and bright pedals are nice touches too. The centerpiece of the dash is the optional Uconnect system with its 6.5" touch screen, GPS navigation, 40GB hard drive, satellite radio, and more. This car has a ton of curb appeal but is also very impressive on the road. Push the start button, grab the pistol grip shifter, throttle up, and let it loose. 1970 was good, but this is much better. It is a restored 1946 Chevrolet CK 3100, representing the art deco or "Wurlitzer" design that sandwiched WWII. With its distinctive chrome grille and shapely body, it represented a unique truck design that deviated from automobiles for the first time. There was no looking back after this one. This design was introduced in 1941 as the AK series, just before WWII. Of course, the war halted commercial production until the pickup returned in late 1945 as the interim CK series. This example was built in November 1945, shortly after the war. Note the raw welds on the a-pillars (due to a lack of grinding wheels after the war) along with the painted door handles and parking light covers (plating was not yet available for these parts). This truck has a very solid frame along with a nice body that has been repainted in Chevrolet red. The magnificent front grille was rechromed while other trim pieces were polished or replaced. The bed was redone with an oak finish that offers a wonderful contrast to the red color. The old flat steel bumpers were replaced with chrome plated tubular steel pieces for a more refined look. The truck also retains its crank-out windshield and cowl vent, both of which work great. Under the hood is a rebuilt 235 cubic inch straight-6 from a 1954 truck. This looks similar to the original engine but has conventional bearings (rather than babbit) along with a high pressure oiling system, both introduced in 1954. It also has an oil filter along with a solid lifter camshaft that offers such an endearing sound. The 3-speed manual transmission has a tall shifter with Hurst handle. The rear end appears original but has been rebuilt with 3.55 gears, which is not as easy to do with an original closed driveline. Steering and brakes are manual, and the electrical system has been converted to 12V. The interior is about as basic as it gets. It has been reconditioned starting with the bench seat. The door panels and headliner were also redone, and a new rubber floor installed. The rest of the interior has been painted to match the body. All gauges work properly. The horn, wiper, and parking brake are functional as well. There is also a courtesy light under the dash and a modern steering wheel. Turn signals have been added as well. The truck also includes a stack of receipts from the last twenty years, along with a 1946 owners manual. This Chevy is truly a trip to the past. Climb in, crank open the windshield, fire up the stovebolt, and listen to the clatter of the lifters. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. Here is a gorgeous 1968 Z/28 Camaro that is one of the nicest looking I've seen. It has been through a lot of recent restoration work including new paint and a rebuilt 302ci motor with less than 500 miles. It runs and drives as good as it looks, but there is so much more to tell. Built in May 1968, this rust-free car remained in Colorado until 2015. After spending its initial years on the road, it then found its way to the race track. The original engine was a casualty of this lifestyle, as was the transmission. So too were a few parts typically removed for lighter weight, such as the bumpers, radio, heater, and dash pad. But in 1978 it began the journey back to street duty. Missing parts were replaced (receipts included), and a new 350ci short block was purchased from Luby Chevrolet on 11-13-78. Of course a 350 seems sacrilegious now, but it made sense back then. After going through an inspection on 4-19-79, it was returned to the street. The car spent the next 24 years and 60,000 miles living a quieter life. Along with general maintenance, it was repainted brown and had a power steering conversion. Then in 2003 it was purchased by its last owner who spent the next twelve years restoring the car to its present state. Which brings us to today. As mentioned, this is a rust-free Z/28 that also looks great from underneath. It has a nice straight body that was stripped and repainted in 2014. The quarter panels were replaced and a cowl hood installed (while not an option in 1968, it really adds to the car's look). The pearl metallic blue paint is beautiful day or night. The trim and moldings were all reconditioned for a nice shine. It also has new 15" Rally wheels, center caps, and trim rings along with BF Goodrich tires. The motor is now a 302ci setup that was professionally rebuilt and balanced in April 2015. The block was overbored 0.030" and received Racetec 1000760 domed pistons with file fit rings. A Comp Cams 12-210-2 hydraulic camshaft was used for good, reliable street driving. Cylinder heads are the correct 3917291 castings from 1968 and have hardened valve seats. The aluminum high rise intake is topped by a Holley 750cfm carb with electric choke. The transmission is a correct 1968 Muncie M21, and the 3894860 12-bolt rear end houses an Eaton positraction setup with 3.73 gears. There are many new suspension, brake, and steering components throughout, contributing to a safe and comfortable ride without any squeaks or rattles. Body mount bushings have also been replaced. Much of the original code 711 Ivory/Black custom interior has been replaced in kind, maintaining the black carpet, dash, and steering wheel along with ivory seats and door panels. The shoulder belts and passenger grab handle remain in place, and the N30 steering wheel appears original to the car. The gauges, wipers, and heater all work properly. There is also an aftermarket stereo that sounds nice. Now with any first generation Z/28 Camaro there are always questions of authenticity. The following appear original and are unique to the 1968 Z/28: - Radiator: UH-code 3-core 21" - Tachometer: 6k redline / 7k range - Glove box decal: E70x15 tires - Rear springs: 4-leaf assemblies Further, the following are also present and required for a 1968 Z/28: - VIN staring with 12437 - Front power disc brakes with proportioning valve - Factory stamped holes in the left frame rail (for dual exhaust hanger) - 5-blade fan with clutch - Deep groove pulleys (except power steering) - Speedometer cable routed to right of steering column Finally there are also the correct rear bumper guards and 3/8" fuel line, and of course the fender badges. There are also many receipts from the last 40 years, some of which refer to the car as "Camaro Z28". This iconic Camaro is one of the most desirable cars from the 1960's. The transmission is a column-shifted TH350 automatic with crossmember for a more stable mount than the original configuration. The interior stays true to its original code 670 black/silver and is a real blast from the past. Everything is stock appearing except for the underdash stereo and aftermarket steering wheel. There is also a Lokar accelerator pedal. All factory gauges and indicators work properly, including the oil and generator (now alternator) lights. The looks are breathtaking, the sound is tremendous, and the ride is extreme. There isn't much comparison out there. This 2-owner car was built by CAV in 2000 and has been driven about 7,500 miles since. It spent the last 12 years in California where it received an SB100 smog exemption. It was repainted in 2015 and looks fantastic! Several other parts were recently replaced or freshened, including the Lexan engine cover. Also note the 15" Halibrand style knock-off wheels, complete with safety wire. The car is powered by a Ford 5.0L motor. Highlights include a full roller valvetrain, aluminum heads, and a new FAST electronic fuel injection setup. The FAST system is very nice, providing real time data and allowing simple tuning. And the eight velocity stacks, throttle linkage, and blue anodized fuel rails sitting under the engine cover is a beautiful sight indeed. There is also a bundle-of-snakes exhaust that sounds like pure evil. The transaxle is a Getrag 5-speed unit. Brakes are discs all around with a power booster, while the manual steering rack is nice and tight. The suspension uses adjustable coilover shocks front and rear so you can easily adjust ride height to your preference. Cooling uses a very effective C&R aluminum radiator with dual electric fans controlled by the FAST module. The interior is classic GT40, starting with the leather seats with aluminum rings. The dashboard has all the expected gauges. You also have access to the FAST display / touch screen which offers many additional items; fuel rail pressure, intake air temperature, air/fuel ratio, and more. The car is also equipped with a heater / air conditioner and backup camera. Note there is a single arm windshield wiper as well (removed for the pictures). This is not a car to be taken lightly. It demands your full attention while driving, as the slightest slip of your right foot could lead to trouble. So if you're after a relaxing drive in the country then keep looking. This 1960 245hp 4-speed model has been through an extensive frame-off restoration by Ken Carlson of Sun Country Corvettes in Arizona. This high dollar restoration was completed in 2008 and subsequently achieved NCRS Top Flight status in 2009. It's that kind of Corvette. This is believed to be a 3-owner car, with the second owner storing it in a barn from the early 70's until 2002. It was still in nice shape when removed, which made it a solid candidate for restoration. This was as a total nut-and-bolt restoration right down to shim marks, shim tape, stencils, inspection marks, decals, etc. The entire process is very well documented and summarized in a binder full of photos and receipts. This high-level effort included great attention towards retaining original or OEM parts with correct part numbers and date codes. The spectacular result produced a Top Flight award in June, 2009 (judging paperwork is included). The restoration was true to the car's original color and options, retaining the desirable red / white exterior and red interior colors. Options include a Wonder Bar radio, heater, sunshades, and courtesy lights. There is a red hard top as well. The engine is the 283ci 245hp dual quad setup. The engine was restamped and has the correct date code. The T-10 4-speed transmission and 3.70 Positraction rear end are correct as well. I could go on and on about the work that has been done to this car but I think the Top Flight award sums it up. The car is in great mechanical condition but has almost no miles since the restoration. This is a special car that will appeal to any Corvette purist.
