Color: Grey-Blue (DB-906G)Interior: Parchment (cream-beige) MB-TEXSoft Top: Navy BlueMiles: 101,600 originalBeautiful rare color combo you'll fall in love with on this 450SL. It's difficult to find an original elegant color with an interior that matches so well and finished with a sharp contrasting Navy Blue soft top. The MB-TEX parchment interior shows no rips or tears and shows in very presentable condition. Paint is largely original with some respray done with good quality craftsmanship. Body panels appear to be straight. There are no paint or rust bubbles anywhere. There is no rust on this vehicle including the undercarriage that's clean and dry. Lots of preventative and regular maintenance work has been done on the vehicle in last 5 years including timing chain, tensioner, rails, plugs, cap, rotor, AC, servo replacement and the list goes on. Service records available. Recently had the AC serviced and fully recharged. AC Conversion has already been changed to 134 and it really blows strong and ICE COLD, something you do not find often on 450's of this age. Motor runs strong and shifts smooth through all gears. The previous 3 owners took care of the vehicle and it shows as it was garaged and covered. The original owner had it for the majority of time and passed it down to his daughter. In the later years it was sold to a close friend of the family. Dashboard is original and has a few small cracks showing. Car comes with a dashboard cover and kit to install. There is a newly installed Sony CD audio system with USB connection the previous owner purchased. The original Becker Radio that was removed also comes with car. The removable hard top is in nice condition including the interior lining and glass. Soft top is Navy Blue and was recently replaced according to previous owner and visual inspection but does have a tear above passenger head space. We will try and work a good price for soft top replacement from one of our vendors if it's important for you.The wheels are original MBZ factory 14 inch alloy non chrome in nice condition not showing scratches and curb rash. We have a clean Carfax available for review. Body panels are laser straight with even space between shut lines all factory specs. The vehicle is largely original paint with even depth and smoothness showing a hi-gloss finish. There are no signs or indications of accidents or body repair. This is a rare 1971 production rare small euro bumper which are very desirable. These car are increasing in value and this is the first year of this body style R107. Classic Beauty Roadster with white hubcaps and whitewalls. Definitely a head turner. I bought this car sometime back from a older lady who's husband passed away and the car hasn't been on the road since 2007, was garaged kept, brand new tires all around classic whitewalls. I was going to restore this, but I am moving out of state and have too many cars to ship out. I also have (2) 190e 2.3 16L Cosworth which I have acquired and would be willing to sell one. This car has been maintained quite well, as you can see the engine bay immaculate clean and the interior looks like in pristine no rips or tears on the leather seats, all gauges are working properly, all lights are working, turn signals, hazard flashers, new tires all around the dash is cracked which is a common issues in these cars. The car starts like a charm and drives well and very powerful. No lights check engine or issues. Does need a some TLC. This is my 1978 Mercedes Benz 450SL. Factory original Yellow and all original interior in nice condition. Completely rust free with no previous damage or repairs. The body has no rust at all not even a bubble or any dents. The body is very straight and in nice shape overall as shown. There is no rust anywhere including underneath. I took pics of the underside on the lift at the shop 2 weeks ago to show how clean it is. The interior is amazing even the headliner is mint. Clean dash, steering wheel and door cards, even the carpet is original. No cuts, tears or seam separations in the seats and the leather is soft. It has the original chrome fender moldings in the trunk as well as the original tool kit and spare. It is 100% complete. I got it from a relative of the original owner and it was stored many years. It shows 39k miles but I cannot prove or disprove the mileage to be accurate. I just picked it up from the shop last week after spending almost 2 months there bringing it back to life and getting the fuel system (lines, pumps, distributor, etc) rebuilt. I have taken my cars to them for years, Hazard Center Auto Shop here in San Diego 92110. The mechanic there took it on a test drive last week after finishing up the repairs and said it just needs to be driven. Said it shifts fine and the brakes work. Stays cool and has no oil or water leaks. Full disclosure, after driving it he noticed a small fuel leak after it sat a couple hours. I need to get money asap so I didn't even wait for him to track down the leak so I am passing it on as it is. The motor is good and it is in good mechanical condition it just needs some sorting still. Because of that it starts but will not stay running, but the pump and distributor are new its just a line leak because only some of the fuel lines and banjo fittings were replaced so far. It was stored for many years. It is an unrestored 40 year old Mercedes with very low miles. I have the original manuals and data card as well as the metal data plate. Clean California title here with it and it's located in San Diego, California. Local pickup and payment is welcome or I will deal with your shipper. International buyers accepted. I have sold a few classic cars on eBay and a lot of car parts and I value my perfect feedback and I describe things as I know them to be. The driver door card pocket is missing a bolt. The visor needs a new clamp where it snaps in place. The tires are older. It had one outer repaint (luckily no body repairs at all) in the original single stage color. This is my 1978 Mercedes Benz 450SL. Factory original Yellow and all original interior in fantastic condition. Completely rust free with no previous damage or repairs. The body has no rust at all not even a bubble or any dents. It is very straight and in nice shape overall as shown. There is no rust anywhere including underneath. I took pics of the underside on the lift at the shop 2 weeks ago to show how clean it is. The interior is amazing even the headliner is mint. Clean dash, steering wheel and door cards, even the carpet is original. No cuts, tears or seam separations in the seats and the leather is soft. It has the original chrome fender moldings in the trunk as well as the original tool kit and spare. It is 100% complete. I got it from a relative of the original owner and it was stored many years. I just picked it up from the shop last week after spending almost 2 months there bringing it back to life and getting the fuel system (lines, pumps, distributor, etc) rebuilt. I have taken my cars to them for years, Hazard Center Auto Shop here in San Diego 92110. The mechanic there took it on a test drive last week after finishing up the repairs and said it just needs to be driven. Said it shifts fine and the brakes work. Stays cool and has no oil or water leaks. Full disclosure, after driving it he noticed a small fuel leak after it sat a couple hours. I need to get money asap so I didn't even wait for him to track down the leak so I am passing it on as it is. The motor is good and it is in good mechanical condition it just needs some sorting still. Because of that it starts but will not stay running, but the pump and distributor are new its just a line leak because only some of the fuel lines and banjo fittings were replaced so far. It was stored for many years. It is an unrestored 40 year old Mercedes with very low miles. I have the original manuals and data card as well as the metal data plate. Clean California title here with it and it's located in San Diego, California. Local pickup and payment is welcome or I will deal with your shipper. International buyers accepted. I have sold a few classic cars on eBay and a lot of car parts and I value my perfect feedback and I describe things as I know them to be. The driver door card pocket is missing a bolt. The visor needs a new clamp where it snaps in place. The tires are older. It had one outer repaint (luckily no body repairs at all) in the original single stage color. There are a couple small things here and there as it is an unrestored 40 year old car. I took over 70 photos and a walk around video yesterday 12/27/16. Click View All below to see them all.
