1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham POWERFUL V8****Okay so when a car sits is it ready to jump in and drive?? you would be amazed at some of the "brite ones" that call me - ****Original Miles on "clock" 76,077.7Clear Blue Texas Title (in my name) 1 owner car until me)This is a 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham "Olds"THIS IS A all original - non molested VIRGIN !!!Bought new by a guy for his wife - she drove it rarely for many years - when she died he just saved it ..then, years later.....he died. This car is 99.9999% original still has the original hubcaps paint matched to car, still had the original paint match jack in trunk with the spare tire and the original cardboard spare mounting instructions.Still has the cardboard sun visor from dealer in 1979 Oh and still has the matching blue umbrella from dealer as well :)This car was driven and garaged from new till about 1990 then stored in and out doors for 5 years THEN was stored from 1995 until this 9-28-2014 only being started and driven around the block a few times in near 10 years. The car is ALL original Power everything! other than 1 little (small) bend in right front fender (down low) the body is SUPER STRAIGHT and in excellent condition! The vinyl top has NO holes, No tears!! All Glass and all lights and lenses are GREAT!! I obtained the car and cranked it by priming the carb but the gas is not pumping into the carb. ** when you prime it....it RUNS PERFECTLY SMOOTH, no missing, no ticking, no clicking engine sounds beautiful, after sitting this length of time certain things will need replaced as expected. No biggie a battery, fuel filter and fuel pump, water pump and radiator maybe a few other minute things.other than the DUST--THE Pictures show well how "clean" the car is notice the screws in light bezels, door jambs etc...the pedal pads not worn etc This car is for sale locally which if bought here would end sale however for any particular questions or if you need additional pics or anything at all please feel free to contact me Chris 214)223-7121

Hello, you are viewing my, very low miles (29,510 miles), rust free, non restored, very original 1966 Toronado that spent most of its life in California. Even has the original 1966 California Black license plates. Some of the options are, working power windows and seats, working hideaway headlights, power brakes, power trunk and AM radio witha FM converter in the glove box.This car has had a very high quality base/clear respray (first respray), wearing the original gold color. This Toronado has ZERO rust or body filler (never been in a accident that I can see). The body is straight as an arrow with excellent gaps (doors close perfect).The undercarriage is very solid and very original (no previous repairs).The rubber and weather stripping are still very soft.The chrome is very presentable and original.The interior is as new from the factory. Headliner, seats, door panels, carpets, rear package tray and dash are all in wonderful original conditionThe only thing that I did was have the drivers bottom professionally replaced (the stitching was separating). Mechanically the car is EXCELLENT!!!!!!! 425 Motor. Runs, drives and shifts perfect. Cold AC, and hot heat. Recent work done in the past 2,000 miles.Overhauled transmission with working kick down, new boots on front axles, new sway bar, new shocks and tires all the way round.New front and rear brakes and turned the drums, new wheel cylinders, rebuilt brake booster, rebuilt alternator to a 130amps, rebuilt carburetor,new plugs, rotor, cap and wires, new heater core, hoses, and rebuilt the radiator, new rear bearings, resealed motor with new gaskets,new vacuum hoses, and new fuel and brake lines. This Toronado came out of a garage in the suburbs. It fires up and runs and drive. It looks like a bit of a time capsule which is great. The body was originally Provincial White and was resprayed some years ago. The new paint looks like hell up close but from 10 feet shes almost a looker. The body is pretty damn solid all around. See all the pictures caefully. As you can see the rockers are nice and solid. The underside looks nice. Couple small hole on low spots of floorpands. The rails and mounting positions all appear solid. The car doesnt appear to have been clipped or wrecked at any point. The front bumper looks like it might be slightly off center. The bumpers are in nice shape. As you can see we have lots of extra trim for the car (pictures). We left it off so you could see the complete body. Everything in the pictures comes with the car. The windshield trim is included (we pulled off the glass). This is a perfect complete restoration candidate. Normally we would restore a car like this but we are currently finishing a Toro GT and I dont need another project. The interior is pretty complete and original. The radio works, the seat power adjustments works, 2 windows work off the switch. All glass is present and good. The speedometer works! Wipers work and so does the power anttenae. The seats have some tears as you can see. The interior smells fine. I believe this to be the original 425 that came in the car. As I mentioned it fires right up and drives. The exhaust is rusted at the headers so it's noisy right now. While we were first running it we noticed the water pump let loose in front of us. I can only assume that having the car sitting for long didnt fare well for the pump. It did build good pressure and move coolant before the pump went. fortunately, we were standing in front of it so we shut it down right away. We only fire it up to move it so it has not been overheated. We put new plugs in it and cleaned the points in the distributor and it idles just fine. I believe it has the original carb. It runs off the fuel we put in the tank so as far as we can tell the fuel tank is still in good shape. The trans seems to work just fine. We pulled ip up on our trialer when we picked it up. This has been an amazing car to me and is a real head turner. Like the above description states, has a Chevrolet 350 big block V8 & Chevrolet Transmission in it. Has A/C but needs to be run. The maroon lower and gray upper tut one paint is show car quality and the body is very straight and solid which further accents the paint and excellent chrome and moldings. The wheels and hubcaps are original and the tires are the original style wide white wall reproductions. The interior is upholstered in a maroon short nap velour that nicely matches the exterior. The dash and steering wheel is original and in very good condition which compliments the stock appearance of the care. A cassette AM/FM stereo is neatly installed in the dash for operator enjoyment. Under the hood of this Series 76 Dynamic Cruiser lies a neatly installed modern Ford 351 cubic inch V-8 engine in place of the original Oldsmobile 6 cylinder. It's coupled to a later model transmission which has the original gear shifter lever. The newer more efficient engine makes the vehicle easier to drive and much more dependable and roadworthy. It combines the total classic look of the original exterior and interior with the drive-ability of a car with a more modern drivetrain. He has enjoyed the car since then but his health does not allow him to enjoy the car the way he was in the spring. He has resigned to sell the car. I am listing it locally on websites and have agreed to run an auction on ebay for him. It runs and drives great with everything in working order. The AC blows cold but could use a service. The owner says it was blowing very cold for most of the summer. We hope to find and repair a small, slow leak. Please ask specifically about this repair if you are considering the car. If we remedy the problem I will come back and change the description. Otherwise it is mechanically and electrically very good. The interior is super clean, the engine compartment is original and in good shape. It runs and drives great with great suspension, brakes, etc. No smoking, smells or leaks. The body has all original sheet metal in good shape and the floors and trunk pan are good. the car has developed a leak into the trunk only during severe rain storms. This has caused an issue in the corners of the rear 1/4 panels. They are solid but beginning to bubble in the place where the water has been draining out in the very lowest corners of the trunk. The trunk pan itself is very good as is the floors, frame and so on. The car can be used like this and these small areas can be remedied easily by a talented body shop.
