1988 Saab Turbo Convertible in good shape Body and paint are very nice. Please call or text email for more photos of the car. This is my Sunday driver- Now she is for sale as my wife asked me firmly to cut back on some of my cars. Turbo 5 speed runs and drives as it should tops works as it should it gets fantastic gas mileage better then Gov. claims mid 30 thirties on the FWY. The radio is Original with amp. I have a spare top with frame complete etc, spare full size tire/rim and bunch of other spare parts. I planned to own it for ever but of course wife wins. I am the 2nd owner with service records from the first. The driver seat is worn and torn some. The rest are in excellent shape. Know problems temp gauge and fuel gauge work intermittently. The push clip on the harness is missing I bought a full dash non turbo to remove the clips but have yet to do so. The AC and heater do work although ac might need more freon not ice cold but cold. I drive it only with top down so never a problem. The car has been painted once the paint had hood fade (no accidents) when I bought it. The start price is low with no reserve! Just because the Falcon was affordable didn't mean that they skimped in the styling department, giving it angular lines and a sweeping bit of trim that was reminiscent of its bigger, more expensive siblings. Finished in its correct code M Wimbledon White, this ultra-clean Falcon shows off straight body panels that have never been forced to suffer through harsh winter weather. The doors fit in a way that would make cars costing three times as much envious, and the shine is the result of high-quality materials and careful workmanship. It's not perfect, but for a car that's this affordable, it's quite impressive. All the original trim is in place, including the cool hood ornament and interesting stamped steel grille with elements that appear to float. The chrome bumpers are so shiny they have to be brand new, because not even California chrome looked that good in 1964. In addition, all the emblems, lettering, and other badging are new, giving this little hardtop a very polished look. Perhaps this car's most unusual feature, the beautiful Palomino bucket seat interior shows off California sensibilities and impressive style. Almost everything inside the car is new, including the bucket seats, which also feature new foam underneath, and the nicely styled door panels. Again, this car doesn't look like it was Ford's low-cost entry, especially not with a center console and plush carpets on the floor. The steering wheel is original and in good condition, notable only because it's not quite as nice as everything else, but when you have good original parts, it's important to keep them intact. The instruments cover only the basics, but the markings are clear and bright, and the factory AM radio still hangs out in the center of the dash. Open the trunk and you'll find a correct reproduction mat and a full-sized spare with matching cover. As far as six-cylinder Falcons go, this one is a big block, offering a T-code 200 cubic inch inline-six. Now before you dismiss it, please take it for a drive, because the torquey engine is the perfect match for the lightweight Falcon. It was rebuilt a few years ago and looks great wearing bright Ford Blue paint on the block and original air cleaner, which also carries a reproduction decal. All the ancillary components are recent, too, giving the engine bay a highly detailed look. Handling remains nimble, especially with power steering and fresh suspension components, and the brakes have been fully rebuilt so it stops confidently. And as I mentioned, the undercarriage is highly original, simply because the car didn't need a frame-off restoration. Just look at how clean everything is; THAT's what California living gets you. Brand new black Coys wheels offer awesome contrast to the white paint and wear right-sized 195/65/14 radials. I am selling my beloved Mercedes 300TE because I have recently taken a job that will require a 4 wheel drive vehicle. This is my third 1991 300TE. I love these cars because they are solid - made of steel, not plastic, and the straight-6 is a great reliable engine that goes on and on.... These beautiful classics are getting very difficult to find let alone in this condition. The car rides like a dream and is very clean inside and out. For a 24 year old, it looks mighty fine and the British green color with the MB-Tex palomino interior is a great combination not often seen in these cars. The interior is clean, no tears in the upholstery, the sun roof works and all three head rests are present in the back seat. Mercedes is big on comfort and the seats in these cars will allow you to ride in them all day without back issues. The exterior is also in great shape for the age with original paint and rust proofing. I purchased the car three years ago from a school teacher in Stamford, CT. To my knowledge no one has ever smoked in the car. She had the car rust-proofed so she’s in very good shape underneath- virtually no rust! The car has 175,000 easy highway miles and comes with two sets of rims (snow tires and all-season tires - plus full spare) - also comes with the original first aid kit and loads of extras! 96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For sale is my prized R107 1985 Mercedes 380SL- 040 Black on Palomino leather with 45,000 original miles. I bought the car from the owner’s daughter with 37,000 as he passed away. The car came with the European front end which is very rare to find. Car was purchased here locally in Fort Worth, TX- The original delivery inspection is included from the dealer. The car does have 1 key (sure a 2nd one isn’t hard to get) and all the original books and manuals. Includes Top adjustment tool, antenna lube, extra fuses. The car for the age looks fantastic- the car does need an exterior detail which will get done for sure. Everything I mention- I will take some pictures of to share the extent of it: The paint is all original 110%- but there are some slight chips in driver’s door along edge, as well as right above the wheel on passenger side front, and on the edge of the hardtop where it sits on the car as you will notice in pictures- nothing major, but it is there. The soft top was used about 10 times total and was stored away most of the cars life- I have cleaned it well. The hard top is in fantastic shape- the rear glass has had some heat build-up along the edges and has some red tint to it- the hard part is reach it as it is a closed off space. The light surface scratches I see on the paint can be buffed out. The car will need new some weather-stripping on the door edges as some of it is worn and aged- it is usable though as some had been replaced. The pinstripe has a few spots where it is peeling. The bumper ends have been refinished but are the original that came on the car. All lights function- the third tail light does have a crack along the side of the plastic- very subtle with the black. Antenna works great- I installed the shorter antenna rather than the original tall one- the radio works fantastic. The spare is in new shape and all original tools are back there in the package. Car had new padding installed under the hood. All interior and exterior lights work. The housings for blinkers and fog lights have been replaced. The leather is in fantastic shape has some dry rot on the outside of the driver’s seats and on the armrest in the center as pictured. The carpet does have places where it is fading (please see pics)- but that’s just part of having a car in the Texas heat as there were times my garage was full, but for the most part, the car was inside. The original mats are in the car- there are a few minor stains in the carpet as the pictures show. The door sills on both sides have a light crack. The wood trim is in good shape- at the very bottom by the carpet the trim staple came loose, but it is not noticeable unless you pull it up. Car has new (within 6 months) Brakes and rotors, Brake fluid, windshield washer pump and reservoir cap, air filters, oil and filter as recommended from manual, transmission gasket kit and transmission fluid. All hoses and belts are in fantastic shape as well. The car had a fresh charge of R12 over the summer and blows ice cold- for the first time- I did notice a minor leak in the garage from the compressor- car does still blow cold. I do still have 1 can of R12 I will include. I did not get the compressor changed/rebuilt as I will leave it up to the new owner to swap to new system or not. The air still blows strong. The windshield wipers are new- I did put Bosch ones on- I kept the original as well for new owner. All power accessories work. New front license plate frame included. Tires are at about 80% tread, and wheels were refinished about a year ago so they look brand new. Suspension is in fantastic condition and rides like a dream for age. Battery is about 3 years old- I keep it charged at times I am not driving it. I am not going to lie- I do not drive it enough and part of the reason I am selling it is the wife says it is time for it to be gone since we have kid number 2 on the way. This car is timeless, beautiful and means so much to me- for its age, it shines even with its slight imperfections. I kept this car under my father’s dealers name- I have owned it for about 7 years now. I can sign the title over to buyer once paid for. This car was purchased new by a businessman in Fullerton who owned the car until I purchased it in 2013 with 98,000 miles. He had garaged the car its entire life and it was in excellent condition. He also gave me a binder filled with maintenance records.I've done extensive maintenance on the car over the past two years and 18,000 miles. All maintenance has been performed by my Mercedes mechanic, Classic German Motors, in Pasadena, CA, and includes the following:-Replaced radiator, A/C compressor & dryer, A/C push button control, power steering pump, starter, turbo, break rotors & pads, hood pad-Transmission replaced (Sun Valley Mercedes Transmissions)-Injection pump removed, rebuilt & recalibrated with new injector tips-The following suspension components were replaced: rear sway bar links, upper shock mount bushings, front suspension lower ball joints-The head was removed, pressure tested (no cracks) and cylinder head gasket replaced-A new OEM Mercedes windshield was installed to replace the original cracked windshieldI also sent the factory radio back to Becker Autosound to be rebuilt. They added an aux input so a phone or iPod can be plugged in and played (via headphone jack).I looked at a bunch of SDLs before I purchased this one, and this was the cleanest and lowest model car that I could find. I then spent a lot of time and money getting the deferred maintenance caught up. As a result, this car runs and drives amazing, as my mechanic will attest. A little over a year ago, I got a company car, and this car has been driven very little since then. It just doesn't make sense for me to have a second car anymore.If you are local, you are welcome and encouraged to have a mechanic check the car out.
