The 1964 Belvedere is notable for being the car used to introduce the 426 Chrysler Hemi engine. This was such a significant high-RPM breathing improvement that Hemi-equipped Plymouth Belvederes won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at NASCAR's 1964 Daytona race. One of the winning drivers was the famous Richard Petty. In 1965 the Belvedere became the intermediate size offering. The 1968 television show Adam-12 featured a 1967 model black and white Belvedere as the standard Los Angeles police cruiser. VIN R355165746 The previous owner of this beautiful Mopar owned the car for 8 years. He purchased the car already restored, out of Kentucky. Before being a Kentucky car, it had previously spent a significant amount of time in California. Original owner’s manual is included in the sale. 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II , 318 c.i. 2 barrel carburetor . 4 speed Transmission , 8 3/4 rear with 741 chunk , 2 door hardtop coupe light yellow color original paint .I had it delivered here from the desert area of Queens Creek Arizona , still has sand in it in the trunk area and under hood and in floor ; the interior is burned out from the strong sun's rays , I had purchased another interior that goes with sale [ see pictures] Bucket seats ,rear bench [ B-body] I have 2 straight bumpers front & rear [need re-plating] , a straight center section grill , with 2 head light bezels that are better than what's on the car although these need to be straightened which are worthy of the effort , a straighter tail panel that is very close to being perfect ,again a little straightening by a metal guy ,whereby I say it is worthy of the effort to do so .I also have a new gas tank for it also. I believe this may have been a three on the tree prior to this 4 speed , because there is the column that was altered with a grant steering wheel , virtually a rust free car other than superficial rust , under neath the car it is very clean ,floor is clean other than sand and small amounts of rust which is the tan colored rust not the dark brown rust ,the trunk same way ,no holes in floor or trunk and no questionable spots . There are small dings and dents in the quarter on passenger side , drivers side door and the most noticeable is the driver side front fender near to the head light bezel ,This is has been stored for many years ,long before all these TV shows regarding desert cars .The person that really wants this type of car will not be disappointed ,being this is as close to rust free as it gets for an unmolested 48 year car .registered in NY $ 10,500 contact by phone at 716 - 998 - 5727 I will up load more pictures upon request .I just started this car by running a gas line threw a small electric fuel pump into a gas can ,where by started right up .It has the '72 style electronic ignition set up conversion which leads me to believe it is a '72 motor as well , the only questionable rust is the battery tray .

If you like your muscle wrapped in a more grown-up package, this Belvedere is what you need. Just one look at this low, muscle-bound Belvedere and you know it means business. There's nothing on the car that doesn't belong there and it isn't trying too hard to be something it isn't. Instead, it's got a purposeful look that doesn't call a lot of attention to itself and it's not so perfect that other street racers will be wary. The repaint was done a few years ago and it's not perfect anymore, but the industrial-strength look works best when it's got a few battle scars. Dark blue works well, giving the car a grown-up look that gets attention, and the bright trim along the flanks highlights the arrow-straight styling. The chrome is probably original, so it's a little tarnished, but a little elbow grease will brighten it up and take the car up a notch or two. The two-tone blue interior has an upscale look and feel and it's in very good shape with firm, comfortable seats, nice carpets, and a 4-speed sticking out of the transmission tunnel. The door panels, headliner, and dash pad are original and in reasonably good condition and the back seat doesn't look like it's seen much action at all and still looks great. The big steering wheel has a leather wrap to make it a bit more substantial and everybody loves the pistol-grip shifter that was one of Chrysler's trademarks in the 1960s. The Belvedere got a full complement of gauges and the original AM radio is still in the dash, and that's one thing that's probably due for an upgrade. The trunk is positively massive, as you'd expect from a full-sized car like the Belvedere, and it has a correct plaid mat that gives it a finished look. But the real reason these Plymouths were the weapon of choice for street racers on Woodward Avenue is under the hood. This one is packing a built 440 cubic inch V8, which, at a glance, looks pretty stock. However, under that air cleaner there's an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and a Torker II intake manifold, and the idle suggests a healthy camshaft inside. Hemi Orange paint stands out in the satin black engine bay and you can tell this one was built for combat because there's nothing to slow it down: no power steering, no A/C, and no power brakes. You know the original owner didn't do that because he was cheap. The 4-speed manual is part of that equation and it's linked to a stout 8.75-inch rear end with a set of street-friendly gears inside; you don't need a lot of gear to get a car rolling when you have a 440 powering it. There's a recent Flowmaster exhaust system, the floors are shockingly clean, and after living a life in a warm climate, there's none of the issues you'll find on cars from up north. And there's simply no better rolling stock on a brute-force muscle car than painted steelies with poverty caps and blackwall tires, with those on this car measuring 205/65/15 Bridgestone radials. This Belvedere is pure industrial strength Mopar muscle and it has the power to back up its brutal look. And as it was when it was new, it's probably the most horsepower per dollar available anywhere. What you're looking at is a real-deal 426 Hemi-equipped 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II. Broken down by the RH23H61 serial number(denoting it as a 1966 Lynch Road built, 426 Hemi-equipped Plymouth 2-door hardtop), Galen Govier has verified this car to be 1 of 24 in the Galen Registry and the ONLY 1966 Hemi-equipped hard top registered with Code 999 Turbine Bronze and its factory options! Dressed in a rare, special order Code 999 paint code, the Turbine Bronze finish on this car's flat panels shows a beautiful hue under our showroom lights. With a slight metallic flake, you could almost be fooled into thinking there is a pearlescent effect under the glossy clear coat. The bright work and trim presents very well, it's very hard to find any imperfections, dings, or scratches. Chrome bumpers appear brand new, and the head lights and tail lights are devoid of any cracks or fading. Sitting on 1966-only blue line tires with dog dish hubcaps, it's definitely a sleeper look that will take any pony car prowlers by surprise. The car underwent a two year, nut and bolt rotisserie restoration, and what you're looking at is a concours quality build that looks as good as it did when it left the showroom in 1966. One of the great things about Plymouth B-body cars is the elegant interiors. This one continues that appeal with a handsome Code H1T Gold cloth and vinyl interior. That cloth and vinyl covers the front and rear bench seats nicely and shows very little use. Stylish, gold door panels flank the passengers and feature chrome door handles and window cranks. Up front is a clean and straight, multi-tone dash that houses a locking glove box and factory instrumentation. What you won't find is a radio or HVAC controls as this car was ordered with no radio and heater delete, shown on the original fender tag. It's an extremely clean interior that will impress even the most discerning judge. Lift the hood to a very clean engine bay that proudly displays an original, rare 426 cubic inch Hemi V8 producing 425 horsepower. Everything remains just as correct as it was built in 1966. It's mated to the original A727 Torqueflite 4-speed automatic transmission, and it's believed that even the radiator, carburetors, and manifolds are original to the car. Underneath is a show worthy undercarriage that features original floor boards. Included with the sale of this car is a photo album that documents the restoration with over 100 photos, Galen Govier documentation, an original service manual, a stack of receipts, and a slew of manuals and original Plymouth marketing material. You'll be very hard pressed to not be impressed with the build and rarity of this car. Any 426-equipped car will always have a demand with collectors, and with the prices on specimens like this '66 Belvedere II seeing a steady rise in value over the years, we don't expect that to change. Being the only car with its options and color combination known to exist, you can bet there will be a lot of attention on this one in our showroom. Galen Govier Registered Road Runner with Hemi BlueChip Motorcars is pleased to offer a first generation 1968 Road Runner two-door pillar coupe with the desired high-performance Hemi 426 Stage II engine (period correct), the embodiment of what real muscle cars should be – no frills and packed with power. Not many production cars dominated the street and strip like the Hemi-equipped Road Runner in the late Sixties. When it first rolled off the assembly line in 1968, the legendary Road Runner with the 425-horsepower engine, instantly became an icon for everything that was good about the muscle car era.The first generation Road Runner, as seen, with the fabled Hemi continues to excite astute collectors for its role in automotive history, including its impressive racing heritage.Today, 47 years after it first rolled off the assembly floor for the Chrysler Corporation’s Plymouth division in Lynch Road, Michigan, the Hemi-equipped Road Runner, based on the Belvedere platform, still remains in a class of its own.Not content with anything less than perfection, its previous owner took this ’68 Road Runner pillar coupe to JMC Performance less than two years ago, and embarked on a complete frame-off, rotisserie-style restoration. No less than $45,000 went into the restoration to bring the car to this level of condition. However, not before Mopar specialist, Galen’s Registry of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, decoded VIN RM21J8A225551 and the styling tags, which ultimately told the detailed and accurate story of a factory 426 cubic-inch Hemi Road Runner outfitted with torsion bar and leaf spring Hemi suspension, a Torqueflite automatic transmission and the nortorious Stage II package. According to Galen’s Registry, this car was the real deal.It is also a limited-run coupe in automatic trim, in fact, only 390 automatics were produced in 1968, and very few of those original cars remain – either destroyed by accidents, or have since rusted away.We learned that Galen’s Registry researched this car’s production history down to its Beep Beep sounding horn assembly and radio delete, silver and black vinyl interior package with the split bench seat, which were beautifully restored by JMC.Now on the road after being meticulously reassembled from tip to tip with a period-correct Hemi, the car looks and sounds incredible. A look underneath reveals factory correct rebuilt or replaced suspension components front and rear, all new brake and fuel lines and the correct Hemi oil pan. Fortunately, it had a rust-free undercarriage, and no patches were used. What’s more, it features the factory correct 8 ¾-inch rear end and has Posi-traction.The Road Runner sports the correct 15×6-inch stamped steel dog-dish wheels with painted body color and hubcaps wrapped in reproduction steel-belted Firestone redline tires. All major aspects of the restoration process were photographed and cataloged (see digital images www.deluxerods.com.) Essentially, JMC paid careful attention to every nut and bolt, and restored the car to like-new condition, including using the period-correct Hemi 426 engine and the correct licensed reproduction 26-inch radiator from Chrysler. Smaller items got as much attention as the larger ones; new door locks, seat belts, ashtray, headliner, alternator, and custom dual exhaust were added as the work was underway. Nothing on the build would be overlooked and no expense spared to make it right, and to match the VIN and style code findings uncovered by Galen Govier. As the style codes revealed, this Road Runner features the original standard horizontal instrument cluster with alternator gauge, fuel gauge, 120 mph speedometer, temperature gauge and oil light. It retains the original column shifter and steering wheel. The car shows 59,356 miles on the odometer, and it drives beautifully with no overheating issues in traffic, and lots of torque at acceleration. This is a solid car that needs nothing more than a loving new owner. 0 0 1 840 4789 Quick Dog Productions 39 11 5618 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE CONTACT: For additional information call BlueChip Motorcars at (949) 496-3000, or call direct (949)922-1006. About Factory Correct Cars offered by BlueChip Motorcars BlueChip Motorcars periodically offers classic cars that may be listed as Factory Correct, or Numbers Matching. Because there are many opinions about the term(s) used to describe these types of listings, allow us to explain how BlueChip Motorcars comes to that assessment. As you may know, depending on the source, the term “matching numbers, or factory correct,” may mean many things to many people. Purists might define it as a car with every possible window crank, dash knob or even every nut and bolt is original to the car from the time it left the production line. Although some classic cars do exist in that rare condition, most do not. The majority of classic cars on the market were at some point in their ownership, restored or repaired with NOS parts (new old stock) or licensed reproduction parts. Whenever the information is available to us about the use of these parts, BlueChip Motorcars will gladly pass it along to the potential buyer. BlueChip Motorcars uses the term Factory Correct or Numbers Matching only to distinguish a vehicle where the engine casting code corresponds with the VIN and Cowl Tag code. If these codes tell the same story about the car in question, BlueChip Motorcars then considers it to be a Factory Correct or Numbers Matching vehicle. However, unless otherwise stated, the transmission, rear end, and transmission may or may not be original to the car. BlueChip Motorcars welcomes all potential buyers to verify all the information with a qualified expert. We would be happy to email you all the numbers that are obtainable on any vehicle where the term Factory Correct or Matching Numbers is used.

[email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1966 Plymouth Satellite Frame Up Built Satellite 440 Six Pack V8 4 Speed Year: 1966 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: White Mileage: 977 Transmission type: 4 Speed Manual Engine: 440 V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle Info In 1964 Plymouth's designers were being pushed by sales and marketing to make the cars look as wide as possible. So it wasn't too much longer in 1965 that Plymouth unveiled a very large Plymouth Fury as Chrysler's full-size option. This meant the Belvedere branding would become the "mid-sized" option. In 1966 the styling for the Belvedere line was still wide, sleek, and clean. Plymouth's goal was accomplished and if you were in the market for a mid-sized vehicle in 1966 it didn't get much better than the Plymouth Belvedere Satellite. In 1966, The Satellite was the top of the line option for the Belvedere, ahead of the Belvedere I and II models. One year later it would become the middle of the line option being replaced by the GTX model. This 1966 Plymouth Satellite is a stunning example of what $2,695 would get you in 1966. Today it sits in the correct coat of white paint, has a completely restored interior, and now packs a little more power under the hood than it did when it left the factory. However, before we get too far into the description lets decode the VIN and fender tag. VIN: RP23G67280090R: Satellite P: Barracuda, Satellite, Sport Fury 23: 2-dr Hardtop G: 383CI V8 6: 1966 7: Built in St. Louis, Missouri plant 280090: Production number Fender tag: a6: consoleb5: rear arm rest with ashtray d6: rear options u1: Sold car when built (someone ordered it) AB62: 325hp 383 ci V8 C3: 4-speed manual transmission R1: 2-watt AM radio SO 518: Production date of May 18th, 1966 RP23: Satellite 2-dr. Hardtop P4X: Black vinyl interior WW1: White lower and upper body color At the front of the body you will find quad headlights within the grille that is made up of horizontal slats. Below the grille a massive front bumper wraps around the front nose. At the start of the hood, just above the grille, PLYMOUTH emblems sit below a hood ornament that stands with the numbers 440 giving away what lies in wait under the hood. At the fenders you'll find the Satellite Commando badging below chrome trim that runs the length of the body. The chrome door handles, chrome side mirrors, and the top and bottom chrome trim look fantastic and show no signs of wear. As you make your way to the back of the car you'll notice how the fuel cover is made up of a Plymouth emblem that you twist to remove the cover. The rear of the car is just as sleek as the rest as there are no cutouts for the horizontal taillights, only the license plate. The satellite emblem above the rear bumper also features a red white and blue emblem along with it. Finishing off the incredible look of this Satellite is the massive rear bumper and the dual exhausts that exit underneath it. Even though the Satellite originally left the factory with a 383ci V8, today if you lift the hood on this top of the line Belvedere you will see an engine bay that has been stuffed with a 440ci six pack V8. The 440 features an aluminum intake manifold, cast iron heads, and cast iron exhaust manifolds. Above the aluminum intake are the three two-barrel carburetors that feed the massive engine. Spent gasses travel from the headers through Raptor mufflers and out the previously mentioned dual exhausts to create a nice rumble for the 440. The 440 wears a 4006630 casting, and a build date of July 18th of 1977. In front of the engine is a massive radiator that is responsible for keeping the engine cool. Under the Satellite is just as impressive as the rest of the vehicle. At the front of the Plymouth is the bottom of the 440 that has been painted in Hemi orange. Bolted to the block is a 4-speed manual transmission that sends power down the driveshaft to the 8 rear axle with 3.23 rear gears. Manual drum brakes can be found at every corner and are responsible for slowing the vehicle. In front of those brakes the car sits on a set of Chrome Magnum 500 rims that have been wrapped in Remington radial rubber. Pop open the doors and you'll find a completely restored black vinyl interior. The interior is extremely spacious and features four bucket seats that show no wear. In front of the driver's seat is the original dash that houses the 110 MPH speedometer. Over the course of the Satellite's life someone attached a Sunpro RPM gauge to the steering column to help with those shift points on the 4-speed. Above the seats is a black headliner that is in fantastic shape. Throughout the interior, more chrome Satellite badging can be found with the red, white, and blue emblem along with it. Brand new carpet stretches across the floor and is covered by Satellite floor mats. The Satellite was a very popular car because it's stylish look and the fact of how extremely affordable they were at only $2,600. This 1966 Plymouth Belvedere Satellite is a near perfect example of why these cars were so popular. Every inch of this car impresses, and has turned many heads in our showroom already. Don't miss your chance to own a car that you can cruise to your local car show with and take home an award or two with it. About This Auction Please note that all sales are binding and final. TRUE ’63 Big Block 426ci Max Wedge V8 with Dual Barrel Carbs! Very Documented Car! Borg Warner T-10 4-Speed Manual Transmission! Galen Govier Report *See Photos* MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present the beautifully preserved, totally badass 1963 Plymouth Belvedere with a TRUE ‘63 big block 426 Wedge powerplant! This car comes to us from the dry state of Arizona and it is absolutely wonderful! This car is an excellent example of the awesome muscle cars put out in the 1960s! It should be noted that the car has never been restored with the exception of the engine bay and this Belvedere has spent all of its life in California and Arizona! Finished in what appears to be the original shade of red, the paint is in original shape. There are spots along the edges where the paint has thinned out and the metal shows through and some rock chips throughout but overall, the car shows phenomenally! The body is straight and solid while the undercarriage is in beautiful condition as the car has spent a great majority of its life in the dry state of California. The chrome is in beautiful condition and shows only minor imperfections due to its age. This muscle car is sure to turn heads anywhere it goes with its original appearance and the sounds of the massive 426 rumbling under the hood, whether it is cruising on a Friday night or at the track! Inside, the interior appears as if it has been reupholstered in the past and shows well. The seats are wrapped in a combination of red vinyl with red cloth and gold piping which are in great condition, showing no signs of major wear or imperfection. The two tone door panels and headliner are all in great condition as well. The dashboard is in original condition as well and still houses the original Plymouth gauges which look great. There is also a Sun Super Tach II upon the dashboard and a set of Autogage gauges beneath the dash that monitor the oil pressure, voltage and water temperature. Overall, the inside of this car looks great! Under the hood, you’ll find the massive and extremely powerful, TRUE ’63 426 cubic inch Wedge Big Block V8 with dual 4-barrel carburetors. The car and engine are listed in Darrell Davis’ Max Wedge Book. Much of what is outlined in the Davis book is on the Galen Govier Report which is pictured below. The ignition has been upgraded and now has a Mallory Ignition system. The engine breathes through means of big headers and they sound great through the exhaust. The engine bay is exceptionally clean and tidy. This engine runs smooth and sounds just as good! It should be noted that this car has its original Ram Horn factory exhaust headers and factory cut out exhaust system. Wow! Attached to the V8 is a 4-speed manual transmission, shifted through a floor shifter. The transmission was originally a 3-speed manual and was upgraded to a 4-speed. This car is not only insanely fun to drive, but it drives awesome! The engine block is an original AAQA stamped 426 Wedge the serial number is 2406730-1 with 11-4-63 casting date. The engine is not original to the car which 95% of the time is the case since the original blocks were blown up racing. Virtually all 3-speed manual transmissions were swapped to 4-speeds once the stronger 4-speeds became available in late 1963. The stamp pad at the front of the block is stamped V-42 12 19; this decodes as V = 1964 as the model year, 42 = 426 cubic inch engine, 12 19 signifies 12-19-63 assembly date. The current engine was factory rated at 365 horsepower rather than the original’s 415hp which is due to a different compression ratio and its single carb. Please note that almost all of the real 426 AAQA blocks that came in original cars were blown up. The engine and transmission in this car have been in it since the mid 60’s. There is zero difference between this block and the original block. The internal difference is the higher compression ratio of the original. Also the car has a vintage deep sump oil pan along with Vintage Speed accessories (the distributor) and gauges. All carb linkage, the intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds are the original ones it was born with in 1963. It should be noted that the car still has its complete factory Super Stock Max Wedge exhaust system including mufflers and tail pipe hangers. These are never found on cars today. It also has all its original body panels, interior pieces including carpet and pedal rubber. The rims, glass, rear mounted battery and frame are all original to the car. It has its original Super Stock springs along with the double tie down for the emergency brake cable. This is one of the secrets to tell if a car is a real Max Wedge. Even the experts rarely install the double brake cable tie down. The car currently has Holley / Edlebrock carbs which greatly enhance drivability. The car comes with the correct Carter 3700 carbs which do not have any choke provisions which I’ve been told could have been correct since the car was delivered new to San Diego. The car has spent its entire life in California and Arizona and has never had any rust or collision repair. All documentation proves it has only resided in those two states. The paint is 95% original with the exception of the engine bay and the hood. The Belvedere sits upon a set of 15? black steel wheels with brushed Plymouth center caps wrapped in P225/70R15 white stripe tires. The tires are BRAND NEW and will greatly enhance the ride once it gets back out on the streets! Included with the purchase of this fine Plymouth are as follows; the original 426 Super Stock Owners Manuals, 1963 Operating Instructions for the 1963 Plymouth, 1963 Part Numbers Manuals, a Hot Rod Magazine review of the 1963 Plymouth 426 Belvedere from January 1963, a Mopar Action Review magazine with an identical Belvedere from October 2005 (which later sold as a complete restoration at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale this year for $103,000!!!), a copy of the Chrysler Punch Card verifying that it was built exactly as it is currently configured, the original sealed Galen Govier Report from 1996 verifying that it is a real Super Stock 426 Max Wedge and all documentation from Darrell Davis Plymouth Super Stock book that lists the car by serial number and lists all correct equipment. A note about the fender tag, or lack thereof: Unfortunately, when the car went in for the engine compartment to be detailed, the fender tag came up missing, sigh. The stamped and sealed Govier Report was done on June 12th, 1996 when the tag was still on the car. The VIN is clearly visible on the report and of course, still on the car. All previous California registration shows that the car was registered in San Diego and was last registered there in 1978. The California plate on the car is from 1981. The Galen Govier report shows that the original selling dealer was in San Diego and that the car was ordered out of the LA Zone Office. The car was later moved to the dry state of Arizona in 1982 with its last registered owner was then sold to the current owner’s friend in 1996. He garaged the car and never registered it. The car has not been registered since the last date on the California license plate which is about 33 years ago. The car has not been operated on the streets since at least 1978. Will you be the next to take her out on the streets!? This badass Plymouth would make an excellent addition to any muscle car fan’s collection! The VIN is 3231187340 and the mileage currently shows 38,098. It is being sold on a clean and clear title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! For sale in our St. Louis showroom is beautiful 1966 Plymouth Satellite convertible. Finished in a fresh coat of Morning Glory Yellow paint, with a new black convertible power top, and black vinyl interior. Options on this 1966 Plymouth Satellite convertible include: AM Radio with Power Antenna, Automatic Convertible Top, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Magnum 500 Rally Wheels. When the larger Plymouth Fury was introduced in 1965 on Chrysler\'s full size C platform the Belvedere name was moved to the new mid size line. The Belvedere Satellite was the top of the line trim level above the Belvedere I and II. The Satellite was only available in a 2 door hard top or a convertible, and bucket seats with a center console were standard, along with a V8. The Satellite remained the top of the line trim level until 1967, when the GTX came alone and claimed the top spot. The Satellite had a production run from 1965 to 1974, at which time the Fury was moved to the mid size line, and took the Satellite\'s place. The original 318 CID V8 in this Satellite convertible has been replaced by a 440 CID V8, although the 318 engine is still available with the sale, along with the original transmission if so desired. The current 440 is bolted to a 727 automatic transmission. When looking at the side profile of this Satellite you notice that the top and bottom lines have chrome trim running nearly the entire length of the car, and the Magnum 500 rally wheels help produce an awesome sporty look. Up front the Plymouth name stands tall and proud along the length of the hood, the single headlights are a companied with the parking lights, which are pulling double duty serving as the blinkers as well, and are embedded in the grille. Out back you are greeted again with the Plymouth name, which meets up perfect to the tail lights, and below that you see the custom chrome tip exhaust protruding from the rear chrome bumper. The new black convertible top looks great up if you choose to use it, and the black vinyl interior feature a unique \"Western Scroll\" which resembled a tooled leather appearance. For sale in our Detroit showroom is a beautifully-restored 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II. If you want a show-quality race car that is still tame enough to use out on the streets, then keep reading! The car has had the same owner for the last ten years, and only has approximately 300 miles on the Pro-Street conversion. One of the first things about the car that grabs your attention are the huge 29x18.50 R15LT Hoosier rear tires, mounted on Center Line aircraft aluminum racing wheels to shed weight. The car is covered with a stunning mirror-finish black pearl paint job on the all-original body with no filler, that really shines outside, and will be the center of attention at every show you take it to! With the sharp body lines, sleek black finish, and wild 60%26acirc;??s muscle car styling, it is easy to fall in love with this car based on looks alone, but the real treat lies under hood. The car is powered by a big 440 cubic-inch V8, with a steel crank, heavy duty rods, re-worked and port-matched 452 heads, TRW aluminum pistons, Purple 509 hydraulic cam, Holley 850 carb, Mopar M-1 single-plane intake, Chrysler electronic ignition, and coated Hooker Comp Headers. You get to slam through the gears yourself with a HEMI 4-speed, and the power hits the ground with a Chrysler 8%26Acirc;%26frac34; rear axle assembly with 4.56 posi gears in a 489 case. The interior is finished off just as nicely as the exterior, with a front black vinyl split bench seat that is comfortable for the long haul, whether its your daily commute, or a fun weekend road trip with friends and family. While the back wheelwells have been tubbed to clear the massive rear tires, it was done in such a way that the full rear bench seat remains usable. To keep with the race theme, the car also features a four-point padded rollbar that is tucked in close to the headliner to maximize headroom and legroom. The car also features a trunk-mounted fuel cell that still has room for the car cover and whatever else you want to store back there. Underneath, the car has been set up properly, with a 4-link rear suspension, disc brakes at both ends, and the entire car has been tied together from the front to the back, so when you let out the clutch and put the pedal to the floor, this Plymouth will hook up and put you back in the seat! When you%26acirc;??re on the gas, the car rumbles through a 3%26acirc;? aluminized Flowmaster exhaust system, so others will definitely hear you before they see you! Options on this street beast include: cassette player, radial tires, and racing wheels. This %26acirc;??67 Plymouth is the perfect blend of show and go, so call today to put it in your garage! Located in our Detroit showroom, this %26acirc;??67 Belvedere can be viewed in greater detail, including HD photos and video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (313)-982-3100 for more information. 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II is for sale in our Chicago Showroom. This Mopar classic is powered by a 340 CID V8, which is backed by the 727 TorqueFlite 3 speed automatic transmission, running to the 8 %26Acirc;%26frac34;%26acirc;? rear end with the posi-traction 3.55. Options on this 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II for sale include: AM radio, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, and radial tires with raised white letters wrap around the rally wheels. The transmission was recently redone and so were the front end components. Richard Petty drove a Hemi powered Plymouth Belvedere on February 27, 1966 to win the Daytona 500 for the second time and becoming the first Nascar driver to win that event twice!
