Up for sale is a great condition 1967 Catalina Station Wagon. This car spent its entire life in the high planes desert of Loveland Colorado where it rested in a garage away from the sun. This Poncho was originally purchased from Nick Davidson Inc in Loveland Co (Now Davidson-Gebhart) back on 6/27/67 by the owner that I purchased it from who also lived in Loveland Co. I have photos of the original title from 1967, current title is clear and in my name now. This car has not been registered since 1991 and was properly stored since that time. The more you look at the car, the more amazed you will be at the condition. The bottoms of the doors are perfect, the tail gate is excellent and the underside is as good as you will find for a 48 year old car. In fact, this car was being put together almost exactly 48 years ago at this time. The date code on the Alternator is 7D12 (April 12 1967) The carb is dated E7 (May 1967) The heads are dated E237 and E247 (May 23 & 24 1967) The invoice date on the PHS is June 7th of 1967. You will find that all the weather striping is in great condition and very soft as well as the dash, door panels, seats and most all of this car. I see a lot of cars that sell and need so much work, but to be honest this one does not "need" anything. This car was certainly not kept in a vacuum for its life, it was driven and loved. It has some chips, scratches, a dent on the left quarter/dog leg area (photos in the photo bucket file) but none of it is so bad that I would do a repaint considering the originality of the car. This is not a perfect car, but could be on of the nicest original 67 wagons out there and honestly the minor defects that it does have simply prove that this is as original as claimed. The engine compartment is original and was not repainted. Notice the paint still on the frame rails and the condition of the brake booster, wiper motor, carb, air cleaner and the heads simply have heat transfer to the paint and are not rusty. Same with the exterior and the interior. The dash pad is soft and no sighs of cracks, the chrome on the dash is perfect, the rally gauges work as well as all the lights and this one still has the paint code fuses and the bare metal pieces under the dash are as clean as I have seen. This car has all 4 T3 headlights and almost all the claims in the engine are still there. You can call it a barn find if you want as this car was put up in 1991 and was taken care of. When I picked up the car, it was empty of gas and was stored away properly. I simply checked it out, added gas, changed the tires and drove it around. This car starts, runs, stops and rides like it should. This Catalina Wagon was ordered with options that were mostly all business. Some of the highlights include the cornering lamps, posi rear, 4bbl 400 engine, CDI (capacitive discharge ignition) pointless ignition, as well as HD aluminum front drums. If you think 8 lugs were rare, try finding a pair of these Pontiac HD aluminum drums. Here are a list of all the options. Radio Pushbutton & Manual Antenna Rear Speaker Air Cleaner Dual Stage HD Insterment Panel Cover Upper Door Edge Guards Mirror - Outside Remote Lamps. Cornering Lamps. Roof Rail & Reading Seat Belts, Custom Coustom Gauge Cluster Delux Wheel Discs Clock Electric HD 15" wheels Power Steering Power Brakes Tilt Steering wheel Glass - Soft Ray Power Windows - rear gate Ride and Handling Package Floor Mats Super Lift Shock Absorbers - rear Capacitor Discharge Ignition Battery - HD 8.5x15 Black tires Safe-t-track rear axle Turbo Hydra-matic 4 Barrel - 400 HD Brakes - Aluminum Front Drums Full Transistor Regulator I purchased this car so that I could take my family to car shows, church and out for a Sunday drive for Ice Cream. We have not had the car long and did not plan to sell, but have decided to push to get my 65 Catalina completed. I figure that if I do not do this now, the 65 will end up taking several more years and I need to prioritize my garage a little better. In the last month I have put on 390 miles on this car, replaced one fuel hose (from the hard line to the pump) replaced spark plugs and wires. (wires are still with the car, spark plugs were not original) replaced the rear view mirror with on that I had, went through several tanks of fuel, had the paint buffed out, cleaned under the hood and the interior. As I said, the car needs nothing, but if I were to keep it longer I would likely clean and detail the underside more and maybe add a 3rd row seat. As with most Pontiacs, this one does drip oil after returning from a drive. Not enough to consider pulling the engine, but about a qtr size after a few days, so very minor. I do not need to sell this car, it would simply help to fund the restoration that I have been working on for the past 4 years and am sure to look back and regret letting this one go. http://s1264.photobucket.com/user/wolfballer/library/67%20Catalina%20Wagon

Please call to arrange a viewing appointment. A very rare wagon. Beautiful paint and wood. Finished in correct for 1939 Baffin Bay Blue. Incredible fit and finish. Restored by a true craftsman. Interior has been restored to as new condition with original style materials. Beautiful interior. The engine is believed to be the original flathead 6. Completely rebuilt, runs and sounds excellent. Believed to be the original 3 speed transmission. New clutch and all associated components. Shifts great. Original style exhaust done in stainless steel. Sounds great. Completely rebuilt stock front and rear suspension. Original brakes completely rebuilt. Brakes work good. Restored original rims with polished hub caps and trim rings. Wide whitewall tires.Fresh from a 5 year frame off restoration, this beauty has only traveled approx. 100 miles. This incredibly rare wagon is one of only a hand few left and is ready for any show, big or small. This very high dollar restoration was handled by a true craftsman. Any wood that needed replacing was exactly matched in shape and materials. All fastening hardware was replaced with identical stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers. This is your chance to buy an essentially new 1939 Pontiac. The woodies have weathered the financial storm and have held their values. Proof of that came recently in Monterey, Ca when the Nick Alexander Woodie collection was sold at auction. The 51 Woodies brought a combined total of $7.3 million. The final car to cross the block was a 1939 Ford Deluxe Station wagon whose condition was similiar to this Pontiac and the car realized $215,000. With the rarity and low survival rate of woodies, not to mention the high cost of restoration, excellent examples are certain to remain an excellent investment choice with nearly certain appreciation for the unforeseeable future. This car is currently located in Cape Cod, Ma. Please call to arrange a viewing appointment. Photo GalleryAdditional InformationWarrantyThis vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THE MOST ICONIC STATION WAGON EVER PRODUCED. 1971 OLDSMOBILE VISTA CRUISER. SOME SAY THIS WAS A DIRECT SPIN OFF OF THE GM SCENICRUISER COACHES BUILT FOR GREYHOUND BUS LINES. MOST BELIEVE THE IDEA WAS GENERATED BY DESIGNER PETE WOZENA, WHO WAS KNOWN FOR UNIQUE AND PROGRESSIVE INNOVATIONS. THE FINAL PRODUCT WAS THE MOST UNUSUAL AND DISTINTIVE STATION WAGON EVER MANUFACTURED. FROM THE HUMBLE BEGINNINGS AS A FAMILY CARRY ALL, THE VISTA CRUISER HAS TRANSFORMED INTO A REGULAR PARTICIPANT AT CAR SHOWS, CRUISES, AND THE DRAG STRIP. THIS MODEL IS COVETED BY OLDSMOBILE AND STATION WAGON ENTHUSIASTS ACROSS THE NATION. THE VEHICLE IN THIS AUCTION IS A MULTI FUNCTIONAL, PURPOSE BUILT UNIT. IT IS THE TWO SEAT STATION WAGON. ONLY 9,317 FOUR DOOR, TWO SEAT WAGONS WERE BUILT IN 1971. THIS IS THE LOWEST PRODUCTION RUN OF THE SECOND GENERATION WAGONS. MOST RECENTLY, THE OLDS HAS BEEN CAMPAIGNED AT THE DRAG STRIP. HOWEVER, ALL STOCK MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WERE PRESERVED. THIS IS NOT A STRIPPED DOWN DRAG CAR. LIGHTS, SIGNALS, WINDOWS, HEATER, ETC. WERE ALL FUNCTIONING WHEN THIS BEAUTY WAS PARKED AND THE ENGINE REMOVED. WOULD ALSO MAKE A GREAT PRO STREET, STREET MACHINE, OR CRUISING CAR. NOTE: THERE IS NO ENGINE IN THE CAR. EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS COMES WITH THE CAR, INCLUDING THE TCI TRANSMISSION WITH HURST QUARTER STICK SHIFTER AND BIG BLOCK CHEVY HEADERS. ADD YOUR ENGINE, AND GO CRUISING, RACING, OR HIT THE HOT ROD POWER TOUR. BUILT WITH QUALITY PARTS. MOSTLY ORIGINAL PAINT, EXCEPT THE HOOD. ORIGINAL INTERIOR. UPGRADED SUSPENSION. PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION AND VIEW ALL THE PHOTOS. THIS IS A CHANCE FOR A CAR GUY TO OWN THE MOST UNUSUAL HOT ROD IN HIS GROUP OF ENTHUSIASTS. Introduced in February, 1964, The Vista Cruiser was a station wagon manufactured and marketed by the Oldsmobile Division of General Motors from 1964 to 1977 and noted for its fixed-glass, roof-mounted skylight over its second-row seating with sun visors for the second row passengers, a raised roof behind the skylight and lateral glass panels over the rear cargo area along the raised roof. Never in the history of automobile manufacturing had there been a design like this. The raised-roof, skylight wagon body was shared with the Buick Sport Wagon. However, Buick only offered skylight-roof Sport Wagons through the 1969 model year, then kept the name alive for the next three seasons on a more run-of-the-mill Skylark wagon. Oldsmobile continued with the true Vista-Cruiser through 1972. There were Vista-Cruisers from 1973 to 1977, but these cars -- built on GM's new "colonnade" body for intermediates -- no longer had a wheelbase or roofline distinct from those of other midsize wagons in the corporate stable. The skylights were gone, replaced by pop up sunroofs. Of course, the most popular and well known versions are the second generation, 1968-1972, the standouts being the 1970-1972. The last true Vista Cruiser was built in 1972. The wagon was a success until the end, selling 31,913 units in 1972. As with all manufacturers, the gas crisis, EPA, and NTSB interference of the mid seventies forced Oldsmobile to downsize all their cars, and add safety features to be compliant. The original design Vista Cruiser ceased to exist. Throughout their original life spans, both the Sport Wagon and the Vista-Cruiser were built on stretched versions of the mid-size A-body platform used, respectively, by the Buick Special/Skylark and Oldsmobile F-85/Cutlass. Additionally, both wagons offered the availability of forward-facing third-row seats. Competitors like the Chevrolet Impala, Pontiac Catalina Safari, Dodge Polara, and Chrysler Newport wagons all had rear-facing seats in the third row, while the big Ford wagons had rear seats that faced each other. In 1970, a redesign reshaped much of the exterior sheet metal, making the edges and curves sharper. Although it closely resembled the 1968-69 models, and is essentially considered to be a second-generation car, many of the body parts were no longer interchangeable with the earlier second-generation cars. The dashboard was also completely redesigned. (The GM Skywagon Club recognizes the 1970-72 models as "Generation 2a, almost a separate generation from the 1968-1969 versions.") A small number of 1972 Vista Cruisers were modified by Hurst Performance, for support car duties at the 1972 Indianapolis 500 and equipped with 455 cubic-inch Rocket V8s along with the official pace car, a 1972 Hurst/Olds, also powered by a 455 V8. In station wagon history, the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser is surpassed on the recognition scale only by the Tri Five Chevrolet Nomad Wagons. CLICK ON THIS LINK TO VIEW A FILE OF ADDITIONAL PHOTOS FROM THE PUBLIC DOMAIN OF PHOTOBUCKET: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/1971%20VISTA%20CRUISER Nice, solid body. Note: The previous owner's drag racing tech card number is on the windows. It has been blurred out in the ad to protect his privacy. Appears to be primarily original paint, except for the hood. Code 42 Palm Green, with wood grain accents. Finish is in average condition. There are some flaws and some minor bubbling in a few spots, but don't forget this is primarily original paint. Some might view this as good condition paint, considering it is original. Rear bumper painted silver. Fit and gaps on body panels is very good. Wood grain is in average condition, with some flaws on the bottom. Chrome is in very good condition. Stainless is in very good condition, as well as emblems. Glass is in good shape, including the sky lights. Single sport mirror. Cowl hood has been molded into the 442 hood, secured with hood pins. Hood was repainted, but it is not a quality paint job. Some decals have been applied to the bottom wood grain. Possibly can be removed with a heat gun if you don't like the vintage decals. Weld deep dish wheels on the rear with long studs. Hoosier 29x11.5x15 cheater slicks. Weld front wheels with Uniroyal Tiger Paw radials, P205/75R15. No engine. Big block Chevrolet engine has been removed. However, the remaining components of the drive train are present. Please view the photos of the engine bay. You can see what components are present. As you can see, cables, wiring, solenoid, radiator, inner fenders, torsion bar, etc. are all present. Everything displayed in the photos is included. Anything not displayed in the photos is not. If you have any question, contact us. TCI Turbo 350 automatic transmission, shifted with a Hurst Quarter Stick. Set of big block Chevy headers are included and are in the back seat. Mark Williams twelve bolt rear differential. 4.56 rear gear. Disc brakes in the front, drums in the rear. Stock front suspension with new polyurethane bushings. QA1 coil over shocks. QA1 coil springs with air bags in the rear. Master cut off switch in the rear. Undercarriage is not detailed, but is clean and solid. Fuel sump with Magna high volume electric fuel pump. Factory original Jade Green vinyl bench seat interior. Complete interior could use a good cleaning. Seats and cushions in average condition. A few seam cracks on driver side of front and rear seat. Again, remember this is the original factory interior. Some may grade this interior as good condition for its' age. Original door panels in good shape. Original dash in good shape. Headliner in very good condition. Original carpet in fair condition. Wood grain trim in good shape, as well as bright work trim. This car was run in stock and modified classes, so the interior is not cut up and there is no roll cage. Grant GT mahogany steering wheel. Auto Meter programmable tachometer with shift lites. Oil pressure and water temperature gauges. Line Loc switch in the dash. As stated previously, when car was parked, electrical system was functioning. Rear power window, head and tail lights, signals, etc. were working. Manual windows roll up and down. Heater did work. It is unknown whether all components still function. You won't see many of these for sale, and there are very few with these upgrades and options. Trades would be considered. What you see in the ad is what is included with the car. There is no engine. It is not known if any other components (bolts, fasteners, lines, mounts, etc.) are needed to complete the engine installation. In conclusion, this is a rare and unique classic. Only 9,317 examples built in 1971. Set up to be used as either a pro street, cruising car, street machine, or drag car depending what engine you decide to install. Body and interior definitely in good enough shape to drive the car just as it is, displaying a little "old school" patina. The other option is to partially or fully restore it into a modified show car. One fact is undeniable. This Vista Cruiser will attract attention anywhere you go. 1960 Pontiac "Bonneville" Engine Size 389 V8 Transmission Type 4 Speed Automatic Primary Color Black Interior Color Red Mileage 0 Stock 860W3942 Video Description 1960 Pontiac Bonneville 4-Door Vista VIN 860W3942 By the end of 1955, Pontiac introduced a long overdue, new V-8 engine. A new era for Pontiac began in 1956 when Semon E. "Bunkie" Knudsen took over the reins as Pontiac's general manager. A new engineering group was assembled headed by Pete Estes and John Z. DeLorean who were tasked with developing new line of cars with an emphasis on performance. To promote the new line of performance Pontiacs, a racing program was developed and a new, optional extra horsepower engine, like those used on the team's racing cars, was made available to potential Pontiac buyers. The new engine was equipped with dual four-barrel carburetors and a full-race camshaft. In 1957, another new engine was offered that was fuel-injected and this engine was only available on the Bonneville series convertibles. By 1957, Pontiac was offering vehicles in four different models. The least expensive model was the Chieftain line which was followed by the Super Chief line, the Star Chief line, and the Star Chief Custom line which was the most expensive of Pontiac's offerings that year. The Star Chief Custom line differed from its lower priced siblings with deluxe two-toned interiors and extra exterior trim features. There were four vehicles offered in the Custom line: a four-door sedan, a four-door hardtop, a two-door hardtop, and the top-of-the-line vehicle a Bonneville convertible. In 1958, the name Bonneville would now represent the top of the line Pontiac models. Starting with the 1959 models, a new marketing strategy was adopted to make Pontiac into a "sporty and youthful car" that would appeal to younger buyers. During the next couple of years, the cars would become wider and lower and have available high performance engines. Pontiac's continued success in the NASCAR racing program helped to promote this new strategy and increase sales. Pontiac would continue to build and sell low to medium priced cars with a variety of trim and mechanical options throughout 1960s. For the 1960 model year, the Pontiac Bonneville line consisted of the Series 27 and the Series 28. The Series 27 was designated only for the station wagon body style while the Series 28 contained three body styles: a four-door Vista hardtop sedan, a two-door hardtop and a convertible. The four-door Vista hardtop sedan had a base price of $3,333 and approximately 39,000 were built and sold. This example was restored during the 1980s. After restoration, this Pontiac was awarded a Senior National First Place Award by the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) in 1987 AND 1997. The vehicle retains these badges on the front bumper. This vehicle is an older restoration done to high point standards and today remains in excellent condition throughout. The body panels are excellent and fit well to each other. The four doors, decklid, and hood all align well and show no signs of damage, repair or neglect. The exterior black finish remains in excellent condition, as does the stainless steel and chrome trim. The interior has been restored in the proper tri-toned russet color combination and is in excellent condition. The dashboard and all of its instruments have been properly restored and today are in excellent condition. The chassis is clean and shows little signs of use. Most of the chassis components have been undercoated. All of the chassis fittings are correct and the chassis and suspension components show no signs of neglect or abuse, indicating that this vehicle was likely very well-preserved prior to its restoration. The engine bay shows extremely well and the correct, V-8 engine is clean and well-detailed. This vehicle has all of the desirable factory options including automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power seats, power windows, Wonder Bar radio, clock, dual antennas, fender skirts, factory wheel covers, whitewall tires, dual rearview mirrors and heater. This example also has its correct Fisher Body number tag affixed to its cowl. Overall, this is a superb example of one of the most desirable enclosed Pontiac models built during the 1960s. It is has been properly restored, maintained and today remains in excellent condition. - Two Time 1st Place National Award Winner - Once a part of the the Howard and Norma Weaver Private Collection Mechanics Date Code Correct Pontiac 389ci V8 Engine Matching 4-Speed Automatic Transmission AFB Single 4bbl Carb Oldsmobile 9.3" Open Rear End with 3.08:1 Gear Ratio Power Steering Power Brakes New Brake Lines New Flexlines Dual Exhaust Coil and Distributor is in Great Shape Nice Bushings Suspension is in Great Shape Body Beautiful Black Paint Fantastic Fit and Finish Dual Rear View Mirrors Dual Antenna Beautiful Chrome and Stainless Door Lips and Jambs are Clean and Solid Fender Skirts Solid Straight Quarters Gorgeous Solid Trunk with Mat and Spare Clean and Well Detailed Chassis Undercoated Floorboards Frame is Solid Rockers have Nice Pinch Welds Factory Wheel Covers Whitewall Tires 3x14 Interior Tri Tone Red Interior Bench Seat Column Shift Restored Dash and Gauges Power Seats Power Windows Wonder Bar Radio Clock Heater Beautiful Carpet Rear Seat with Fold Down Arm Rest Beautiful Headliner Working Dome Light Don't Miss Out! Hello and welcome to my auction please read this Message First!! My ad's are different. I try to put Lot's of Pictures and they take a few minutes to download. I put A lot of different cars on EBAY and I Export most all of the cars either Overseas, to Canada, or across the United States. I Specialize in 1 & 2 Owner cars with Low miles. I feel they were Maintained better. There is a Free Autocheck in the ad. My scores are sometime DOUBLE the Average car. Although sometimes I can't pass up a good project...;-p. Anyways the BEST way I have found to tell You about my cars and show you everything on them from Thousands of miles away is a Video. On the 4th Picture down You will notice a play button in the center of the picture press it and watch away it’s a 15 to 25 minute Video of This Car!! It is a HD video so you may have to pause it and let it download a few minutes but you'll love it. This car is listed on other sites and is for sale. This Auction could end before its end date if sold elsewhere. Most of my EBAY auctions have the best offer button. Feel free to make a REASONABLE offer. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. This car runs is a good runner but has been sitting awhile so is going to need some work to get it running. It has the Big Block 400 with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission which makes this car a blast to drive. I used to start these cars up once a month or so to keep all the seals tight and the cars running but have not been able to keep up on that for awhile. This car was a runner before I parked it and I'm sure wouldn't take much to get it going again. Maybe even just a battery. The fuel should be drained as its 4-5 years old Who knows you may replace a Fuel pump Water pump or something But a Bit of tinkering and this car is set to go the pictures were from last summer so maybe a sticker is more peeled up or some minor something but this is a Tight car that is a Orig 4spd 400 Trans Am. Drive it around and Enjoy it until you decide to pull it apart and restore it..;-) Its a great driving car. This Project will make someone a GREAT Investment car But NO you cannot hop in it and drive it to Florida... No i wouldent do it after you drained the fuel either it has not been on a trip that long in God knows how long. The exterior of this car is beautiful. It is a bright orange in color with the big black and silver bird on the hood and matching decals. The paint is in very good shape still and shines up nice. It is a little faded right now just from sitting but when buffed comes out very nice. This car does have a sunroof which someone put in and should be sealed up when restored it isnt a leaker though although im sure it will at some point. The body is very straight on this car and it doesn't have any visible rust. The previous owner installed a few extra exterior lights which you can see. Has a very cool set of aftermarket Gold Wire Wheels and a set of White Walls Tires that really give this car a unique look. They also put fender flares on the car which really makes it look unique. I have never seen them Before This is a 2 Owner car that came from Arizona and never seen the road in the winter anywhere it is ready to tinker around on...;-). Options: 400 4-Speed Aftermarket Wheels Fender Flares The interior is in really good condition on this car. It has the black interior with vinyl seats. The seats are actually in very good shape. The front seats have seat covers on them which have kept them protected. The carpets are not in that great of shape and should probably be replaced. The door panels, dash, headliner are all in very good shape for this year of car. Someone took good care of the car over the years and it shows. This car is just a rare beauty that you won't find another one like. This is a cool car that someone put some time and money into to get looking good. With a little TLC you will have yourself a great car. I took pictures of every detail of this car so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting. I can't say enough about this very cool "Tin Woody" wagon.. great for any surfer or old-skool camper or cruiser type of people ... would not take much to make it a show car... we just treated the wagon to a new water pump, battery (original old skool long style) and oil change.. it fires right up and runs great... we were told it was one of the few cars at the museum that was started up and driven on a fairly regular basis for a museum car.. oh, we also flushed out the gas tank and lines and gave it a fresh tank of 91 Octane, so she purrs like a kitten now ! This car is up for sale now and will also be on display at the famous Viva Las Vegas Retro Car Show in Early April .. buy it now before someone will surely buy it there ! [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1956 Pontiac Chieftain Ozzie & Harriett's 2014 Dallas Autorama First Place Chieftain Wagon PS PB A/C Year: 1956 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Green Mileage: 50280 Transmission type: 4 Speed Automatic Engine: 316 cu in V8 Interior color: Green Vehicle Info SUMMARY52,280-mile mostly original survivorOriginally owned by Ozzie and Harriet NelsonFeatured in "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" HBO's "A Private Matter" and an MTV interviewAwarded '49-'57 Restored Cars First Place at the 2014 Dallas AutoramaOur sale includes both the car's magazine feature and Dallas Autorama plaqueOriginal 316 cubic inch Strato Streak V8Original Hydramatic 4-speed automatic transmissionFactory-optioned power steering and power drum brakesFactory-optioned air conditioningCurrently wears a revised Glendale Green and bright white color combination Whether it's a '58 Edsel or a '63 Corvette, all collector cars have dedicated fans and admirers. But not many of those vintage machines can claim both exclusivity and star status. Sold by a north Hollywood Pontiac dealer, and used both on and off the set of The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, this 52,280 actual mile Chieftain is a national award winner that's split most of its time between the screen, the radio and the museum floor. Benefiting from new paint, a reupholstered seat and freshened chrome, it's a mostly-original survivor that's still humbled by vintage camera mounts installed during its sitcom debut. And, accompanied by a roster of old school literature, the car's history is delightful and well documented. If you like cool classics that tell a good story, this incredible Poncho is your next cruiser! HISTORY/CONDITION Serving double duty as Ozzie and Harriet Nelson's on and off screen transportation, this Pontiac tells a storied history of low mileage, TV appearances, museum appearances and, eventually, a Cincinnati radio appearance. It's 50K mile journey started around the set of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" where the car, in addition to being rigged for camera work, often served as a prop that began Ozzie's scenes. When the Nelsons moved on to newer metal, the wagon sold to Don Bruker's Cars of the Stars museum. And, when the Car's to the Stars museum went out of business, it found residence with California collector Ray Ostrander. Since the Chieftain had been in museum mode for quite some time, Ostrander decided to conduct a minor restoration that included freshened chrome, some new upholstery and a wholesale swap of original Glendale Green and Nimbus Gray pigment for a pleasing combination of pearlescent Glendale and bright white. With that work complete, the Pontiac landed two more TV roles, appearing in HBO's "A Private Matter" and MTV's interview with actor Aidan Quinn. And, in 1993, its short and sweet radio career began when Cincinnati's 103.5 WGBH bought it as a giveaway prize. As part of WGBH's promotion, the car was towed all over Cincinnati to glean listeners' personal information. One of those listeners, Don Furnish, was a bonafide Pontiac enthusiast who was planning to offer the car's winner substantial money to pass him the privilege of ownership. When the time came to draw names, that winner was given 10 minutes and 35 seconds to call and claim their new wheels. And, after that winner's time ran out, Don's dreams turned to good fortune, as WGBH DJ Chris O'Brien announced his name as the second winner. After a prompt call to the radio station, Don spent the next several years enjoying his unrestored, mostly original classic at summer cruise-ins and weekend car shows. And, in 2014, the car claimed First Place in the '49-'57 Restored Cars class and the Dallas Autorama in Dallas, Texas. ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN Raise this Chieftain's domed hood and the first thing you'll notice is an original Strato Streak 316 that, according to the car's previous owners, has never been removed or rebuilt. Less obvious, of course, is that stalwart engine's correct 521560 casting number. Tested for over 1 million miles, and found throughout the 1956 Pontiac line-up, this mean, green mill was Pontiac Motor Division's creative answer to Chevrolet's red-hot 265. Behind that block, an original 4-speed Hydramatic transmission, which wears a correct "D56" prefix stamp, transfers power to a factory-spec rear end. In front of that drivetrain, correct control arms employ optional power steering and fresh shocks. Optional power drum brakes are a welcome addition and big performance upgrade. There's a traditional, true-dual exhaust system that appears to have been patched with new turbo mufflers. And everything rides on painted steel wheels, which spin fresh 225/75R15 Coker Classic whitewalls around full stainless hubcaps. INTERIOR Climb inside this awesome Poncho and you'll find a mostly original interior that features dramatic style and enough great looking trim to payroll a small upholstery shop. Covered in vivid hides, the car's big bench seats, equipped with optional power adjustment up front, feature a nice combination of fresh front and original rear vinyl. At the sides of those seats, original door panels look great hovering behind small armrests and correct chrome handles. At the front of those panels, an original dash hangs original telemetry above optional air conditioning. In front of the driver, an original, ornate steering wheel spins around an optional, foot-operated windshield washing system. And behind the passengers, a matted cargo area frames ample storage space in original stainless skid strips. Perfect for road trips these cars were known as a family vehicle that you would typically see packed to the roof with luggage and screaming kids. Well this beautiful 1970 Pontiac Catalina may have started life that way but nowadays has a certain cool factor that sets it apart from those other boring wagons. With a nose similar to that of a grand prix or early firebird this car has style. You rarely see these cars up for sale and this one happens to be one of the nicest in the country. From front to rear this long classic is nothing but high quality. The fit and finish is superb making it a contender at every car show it goes to. The body on the car is in incredible condition and with deep Black paint looks very slick cruising down the road. All of the chrome has a beautiful shine as does the stainless work which is all cleanly mounted in place. The soft ray tinted glass windows are all in good condition and free from damage. The factory roof rack is still mounted in place on top of the factory vinyl roof and has a very cool angled design. 17 Torque Thrust wheels are in place on all four corners and are polished out to a very high quality shine. These are then wrapped with Red Line continental tires. Powering this classic is a 400CI motor that runs very strong and has no problem moving the 9 passenger wagon body. The look is all original which is nice to see in a low mileage car like this. Dual exhaust is in place and routed out of the sides just behind the rear wheels. Rectangle tips were added which hug the body giving it a nice custom touch. Backing the motor is a 400 Turbo Hydramatic Transmission that shifts smoothly and with no issues. The car was fitted with A/C from the factory as well as power steering and power disc brakes. The interior of the car is in amazing condition for its age and still has the original look. Black vinyl is used throughout and is in great shape. 3 bench seats are in place with the back one being mounted to face the rear. This gives places for 9 people to sit comfortably, thus the name 9 passenger wagon. When not hauling people around the 2 rear seats can be folded down giving a ton of storage space. To gain access to the rear seat you can open the rear hatch which was designed to open in 2 ways. This is incredibly cool to see on an over 40 year old car. The hatch folds down like the typical truck bed but also swings open towards the left like a regular door. All of the trim in the car is in good shape as are all of the faux original wood panels. The dash utilizes all of the original style components. The A/C works properly and uses the stock vents which are nicely inset into the dash. Another cool feature is the remote drivers side mirror and power windows which is are pretty cool luxuries to have considering it is from the 70s. This car comes with a lot of cool extras that document its history. A lot of these items are hard to find so it is nice to see them preserved so well. This includes a 7 page original 1970s Station Wagon brochure that was put out by the dealerships, a Pontiac Motor Division redelivery check list, original build sheet, original window sticker with options/price listed and a 1970s original owners manual. How cool is that!? Look around for another one of these cars and you will have a tough time finding one. Plus, if you do happen to find one it wont be near as nice as this one is. 1967 Pontiac Catalina station wagon. This was a Southern California car all it's life until I bought it and has been in Florida since. What you see is the original sunbaked California patina and not an attempt at a recreation like many of the hot rod/rat rod cars here. Yes there is surface rust and a few small rust through spots but you would expect that on any unrestored car. 400 ci v8, 2bbl, automatic, ps, pb, a/c, rear air shocks, power rear window, tilt steering wheel. Transmission and engine were rebuilt about 5 years ago. Cooling system was upgraded at that time to an oversize aluminum rad and high flow water pump so I could use this car to tow a trailer with one of my show cars behind it. Everything worked when I last used it. I started up the car this week and drove it to the gas station for fresh gas and get things lubed and warmed up. The a/c needs to be recharged but it has been about 4 years since it was done last. The rear power window works as well from the dash switch and electrically goes up and down. The car has sat for a few years after I sold my show car and I just haven't driven it much so it is up for sale along with a number of other unrestored cars in our collection that we are selling and scaling down to a more manageable level. All new interior in the car done 2 years ago including dash pad, door panels, carpeting, seats, rear area of the car, headliner and sun visors etc, hardware, handles etc. . New seat belts were installed in the front seats. Rear seats fold down and the back area is carpeted. I never got around to replacing the fake wood on the dash but I have the kit from Ames Pontiac and it goes with the car so you can do that and detail / clean the dash at the same time. The car has 4 new radials and 4 new chrome smoothie rims that were installed 2 years ago along with the brakes and suspension parts. The dashboard could use some cleaning and detailing or customize it to your own taste. I bought a replacement steering wheel a number of years ago for it, but ended up using it on another car I am driving so the original wheel is still in this car. That is the low point esthetically of the interior so you may want to find one you like in the aftermarket and swap it out. It works, but it does not look new like everything else inside the car. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Email if you need more photos or have questions or want to see it. Located in S. FL. Clear title. No trades wanted at all so don't bother asking. No, I will not sell anyone parts off the car nor will I disclose the reserve. It is private like in any auction .

Up for consideration is my 1965 Ford Country Sedan that has been customized. This was a California car all it's life until I bought it. The car has been lowered, door handles shaved, bodywork and paint and custom pinstriping were done in CA. I have redone the mechanicals ( new brakes, tires, shocks, exhaust system, tune up/ fluids, new wiper motor, new fan motor, rebuilt carb, rad flush, etc.) and installed a new custom interior and automatic door poppers on the front doors with hidden switches. This is a fabulous highway cruising car and I have used it for work projects out of town and out of state, taken it to antique car swap meets in different states to load up parts for our collection of cars, picked up replated bumpers and loaded the car with tires from Coker Tire in TN to bring back home etc. As you can see, it is not a show car but a very cool, unusual and practical fun car. v8, auto, ps, pb and that is it. Currently shows under 65000 miles ( I have put over 20,000. miles on the car ) and I believe it is original since there is no rust on the car and based on the wear. The rear electric window in the tailgate works well. The car could use new weatherstripping all around and if you wanted to install a stereo you could ( it has the original AM radio ) but I don't listen to the radio when I drive so it never bothered me. As this is a 49 year old used car it is being sold as/ is, with no warranties. If you want photos of something not showing, or have questions, or want to see/ drive the car, just email. I would have no hesitation driving this car across the country anytime. As I said, I take it on long road trips and it has never had a problem with me. I collect old Pontiac's and this is the only non-Pontiac car in my collection ( not counting the old cars my wife has) so I am redoing an old Pontiac wagon in the same style as this Ford which is the only reason I am putting this up for sale.

For sale in our Orlando showroom 1950 Pontiac Chieftain Catalina. Pontiac%26acirc;??s lineup was restyled in 1949 by Herman Kaiser along Harley Earl%26acirc;??s guidelines. The cars featured a full-width body and curved two-piece windshield common to Cadillac and Oldsmobile. Two models were built, the Streamliner and Chieftain, and both rode on a 120-inch wheelbase. Both could also be ordered with either a 239-cid six-cylinder L-head engine that made 90 hp, or a 248-cid straight-eight mill that developed 104 hp. Transmissions were the Hydra-Matic automatic (78%) and three-speed manual The Chieftain was Pontiac%26acirc;??s upmarket model, replacing the 1948 Pontiac Torpedo, and it essentially offered more trim and an extra seating space for approximately $25 more than the Streamliner. Like the Streamliner, the Pontiac Chieftain could be ordered with DeLuxe trim, which added a full-length side spear and gravel guards to the rear fenders. Base Chieftains could be ordered as business coupes, two-door sedan coupes, and two- and four-door sedans. The DeLuxe Chieftains traded the utilitarian business coupe for a convertible. The 1950 Pontiac Chieftain changed little, excepting a new grille and the addition of a steel-bodied station wagon. Also new was the Catalina hardtop, which closely resembled the Chevrolet Bel Air of the same year. The 1951 model year saw the Chieftain line expand to include base, DeLuxe and Super DeLuxe trim in both six- and eight-cylinders (now producing 96 and 116 hp respectively), and the Catalina Hardtop was available in DeLuxe and Super DeLuxe trim. The Chieftain also could be ordered in business coupe and sedan coupe forms. This 1950 Pontiac Chieftain Catalina has 88,000 original mile and would be described as a beautiful survivor. 1950 was the first the Catalina was introduced and the first year for Pontiac 2 door hardtop. The original interior is absolutely gorgeous. Options include Straight 8 engine, Dual range 4 speed Hydra-Matic transmission, 12 volt conversion, Chrome bows on headliner, Traffic light view finder, Chrome silver streak hood %26 trunk emblems, Chrome silver streak side spears, Glowing \"Chief Pontiac\" hood emblems, Original chrome trimmed visor, Front bumper guards %26 grille guard, Rear bumper guards, Factory reverse lights. This is an all original low mile car with lots of documentation included. Documentation includes Factory owner manual, Original owner service manual, Factory Pontiac lubrication chart, Factory Hydra-Matic service guide, Factory cleaning tissue, and a Copy of original \"Certificate of Title\".
