Car appears to have had one repaint in the original dartmouth green many years ago. Still shows well even with a few dings and scrapes. Chrome and stainless are in great shape. Glass looks good and all functions as it should. Decklid has had some repairs in the past that are beginning to show. New running boards. I can find no rust (other than surface rust) in the car, top or bottom. Engine appears to be a 1941 Ford 221ci flathead with recently added (within 1,000 miles) dual Stromberg 97 carbs on an Offenhauser aluminum intake manifold. Also added were Navarro aluminum heads and Red's headers with Smitty's mufflers. Suspension appears to be mostly stock with a few hot rod upgrades. Front and rear is lowered with Posies reversed eye lowering springs. Front and rear tube shocks added. Wheels are the original wide fives with Firestone 700s in the rear and 550s in the front. Newer gas tank.Interior is as original and in good shape. Drivers side of the bench has some fabric pulling loose and passenger side seat back has a broken pivot bracket that will need to be welded. All original gauges operate with the exception of the temperature gauge that has been unhooked in favor of a modern gauge. Lights work. Interior is clean and very presentable. Original radio is currently not functioning. Seatbelts for 4 installed.This car runs and drives excellent. Has the perfect look with just the right amount of patina. Perfect for the local cruise nights. Michelin Premises MX4 Tires with lots of tread left on them. It looks like they were replaced not to long before they traded it in. On The Chrome Mercedes Wheels that look great & shine like there’s no tomorrow. Even the light grey carpet barely sow any wear. They previous owner kept the floormats protected with the plastic film and even put it on the kick guards to keep them from getting scratched up. It came with most all of the books and manuals (there could be something missing to totally sure). All of the power options function properly and the vacuum close doors still work like new. The Air Conditioning Blows Cold but not ice cold like it should, it may need a recharge at some point. There are a couple of dings here and there as you will see in the pics and the video below. All the Chrome Trim, Grill and Bumpers are in really Great shape and shines beautifully in the sun. It has the Factory Hub Caps that really make the car look good…;-) I have the hood ordainment, it just needs to be put back on. It has been sitting for a little while and now it won’t start but I am sure with a little tinkering you will have it running in no time. Like I said this is qa light project car that just needs a little bit of work and it will be a great driver. Options:4 Speed Manual TransmissionFactory Radio The White Seats and Door Panels really Look Good and the White just pops when you open the door, It really accents the blue paint. There are a few stains in the seats that should come off with a good cleaning. It does not have the original floor mats, it did not have any in it when I got it and I had an extra set from a different car and thru them in here. This car is all here and will be a great car with just a little TLC. We drove this over to my parents house and it drove good, but felt like it was lacking in power. Then it started leaking fuel and we got that fixed. Then it sat for the last few months and now we can't get it to start, I am not sure why, I believe it may be a fuel delivery problem, but I am not 100% sure. It could be anything. It just needs someone who has the time and knowledge to work on it. I wish it was me, but right now I don't have the time.
